Make sure you make an appointment or you will be waiting for hours. I came in to get my splash guard replaced and a general care check-up. After waiting 4 hours, I was told they couldnt get a hold of the manufacturer of the splash guard, but would call me in a few days with their findings. I called again after they were radio silent and they said they still hadnt heard from the manufacturer but would call me when they did. I never heard anything. Complete waste of time.

I requested to have blended synthetic oil. After I saw they had written only 3K miles on my sticker, I was told it was just an old sticker and that they had actually put the blended which has a 5K mile expectancy. I explained it was written also, not just the sticker so they went to check with the mechanics while I stood in the lobby... I heard a guy say when in doubt it is always five thousand with those city cars. This made me uncomfortable AND unsure if I actually got the service that I paid for. They then put a new sticker in my car with the correct amount, and after talking with my husband when I got home, he said the same thing happened last time he got his oil changed at this location. This is concerning.

The wait sucked, but when they did start working on my truck they got me fixed up and back on the road quickly. People were very nice and professional.

I came in around 5:30pm with low tire pressure and they were able to fix the valve stem in less than an hour. Really great customer service quick and easy.

Bought tires on TireRack and had them installed here. The appointment was ready to make online. When I got there, they were organized, courteous, and did the job right and on-time. Cant ask for more than that...

My diagnosis and repair for a coolant leak (expansion tank) was SUPER quick, it was definitely pricier than expected and above the average price for such a repair, but the turnaround was much quicker than quoted for ANY of the other mechanics nearby so it was well worth it. The guys here were also super nice and helpful. The only issue with my visit was that my little AC vent was broken when I got my car back. It isnt a big deal at all, theres a lot of little cosmetic issues with my car so I dont really care, but I was a little upset that they didnt tell me! I just wish they would have said something about breaking it, especially since we did chat about more than just the repairs so they definitely had the chance.

Battery replacement and tire rotation. Unfortunately both of these were botched by the Firestone crew. Were the tires rotated? I really dont know. All of the tires were underinflated and spare was not inspected. Checking the battery at home I found it to be the wrong battery. Not what I asked for and not what I paid for on the invoice. Installed battery was a cheaper version of the one I requested. Lastly, maintenance inspection suggested that brake fluid was suspect and needed to be replaced. I had this done a few days before at another garage. I wonder how many customers are being duped into unnecessary repairs. If I didnt know better this sounds criminal. Doe anyone wonder if this a state attorney general matter.

I had a flat tire and went o Firestone. Shane looked at it and found a nail, he had my tire patched up/repaired and did not try to sell me a new tire. They were busy but were able to get me out pretty quickly! I would definitely recommend, they are honest and prompt!

Im pretty dissapointed. Im a frequent customer and often have tire issues addressed here. However, I decided to go with one of their limited tire options that they had for my Chevy 1500. About 5-10 minutes after agreeing to have them replace the tire for a new one they could get ahold of same-day - I called them again to say that I had changed my mind, I no longer wanted the new tire and would like to use my spare in lieu of the irreperable tire. I was told this would be done, however when I arrived a couple hours later to pick up my truck - I became aware that they had placed the new tire on it. I was very unhappy about this as I needed my truck back right then and I realized that it would take a while for them to right the situation.It would have been much more economical for me to buy a set of tires elsewhere and have firestone switch them out for me - than to buy this expensive tire they sold me.I appreciate everything else about the service, its just an unfortunate situation.

Really bad service been trying 2 get an alignment on my vehicle for 3 days.The last day they finally accepted my car said the wuz gonna get it done by the end of the day.My car wuz never moved or touched also never gave me a call wich they had my info but choosed not to do so. Oh yea and they left my car unlocked very disappointing

Just had All four tires replaced with an alignment a couple months ago and they sold me on a pulley and belt replacement. I happily agreed.It was when I was changing my oil yesterday and come to find that my engine DOESNT HAVE AN AIR FILTER ANYMORE!!! I’ve been driving for months with no filter to my intake and could have shelled out my entire engine because of someone’s lack of intelligence and diligence to do their job. Like really? I had called to complain and they said they would make it right but instead; I’m going to advanced across the road, buying a new filter, instead of taking their free one with install.What would they have done if my engine actually did shell out? Nothing. I’d be out of pocket on a brand new Nissan.

Incompetent with scheduling. Had a apt at 4, car didnt get pulled in for the next hour, so I left and called customer service to file a complaint because If I said one word to them I was probably going to flip out. Then customer service said they couldnt get it in until tomorrow. This is exactly why nobody takes these places seriously, they dont even take their work seriously.

Been here twice and I’ve had a stellar experience both times!! Ask for Tyler or Frank!! First class service and they do QUICK and excellent work. Super clean and comfortable waiting room! Even though I came 30 minutes before they closed and we’re completely booked, they were super happy to fit me in and work on my tire and saved the day for me! I’ve been to other places to have my car worked on, but this place is by far my favorite! Love these guys! HIGHLY recommend!!! Will for sure be back.

They lie to you in time and they do not call you to tell you that it will take longer and they also do not check the antifreeze levels and they do not report it to you nor do they tell you that they do not have all the parts for your car and they waste time and you have to buy the parts

Will never go there again for state inspection of a car, they entered the wrong type of car and had to go through all kinds of crazy things to get it approved

I needed a tire rotation, oil change, and state inspection done before making a trip to visit my parents, and the team at this Firestone got me in and taken care of in short order. I appreciated Catherine’s thorough explanation of the maintenance recommended by the technician and her attentiveness regarding the whole process from dropping my car off to notifying me when it was ready. She made sure to apply any relevant coupons and specials to the services I purchased. Thanks y’all!

The attendant at the front end of the store (Chris was the one there when I was here) was incompetent and made several mistakes with reading off customer information to incorrect clients and trying and succeeding in getting people to purchase more expensive options and charging for services that were obviously un-needed. Be cautious of shopping here, if you can even get an appointment confirmed in the first place. Also expect to be here for hours on end, regardless of what service youre looking for; I waited 5 hours for a oil change.

Took well over an hour and a half to do a simple tire change, had no communication on why there was so much delay or why they felt the need to pop my hood and tinker around in there. Made me late for work and tried to upsell me on services I didnt need.

Got grifted here a few days back by some really shady sales techs. They told me and ANOTHER woman that we both had to replace our engines and that it would cost over 8k to replace... I know damn well an engine replacement costs $5k at best, and parts + service won’t even scratch the additional 3k they asked for. Stay away!

They said my battery needed to be replaced. I took it to two other businesses to get my battery checked. Both said my battery was good. I’ll never go back to Firestone again. You can’t get away with dishonesty these days!

$400 for my front brakepads and rotors to be replaced. Additionally I couldnt pick it up when I was told it would be available due to them ordering and receiving the wrong parts... apparently they couldnt call and tell me that when they found out their mistake. I could overlook the mismatched parts, but even Id they didnt rake me over the coals with the cost of parts and labor there is one thing i cant overlook, and that is the test. Its a simple test where you leave a few dollars in the car, take a picture, and... well, you get it. Ive never had a shop fail the test, can you guess what was missing from the picture? hint: it wasnt the gum.

Customer service was top of the line. Christina and Shane were awesome at helping us pick out new tires. We will definitely be back!

Ironically I had a flat right in front of their store. I pulled in, in a rush to get to work. Shane helped me quickly and even though I didn’t ask victor changed my tire to spare for no charge so I could make it to discount tire. I may be switching from here on out. Thank you

I always come to this specific location because their customer service is never in question. Ive been coming here for years and dealt with several different managers and they have always been friendly, direct & thorough. Today, I was fortunate enough to be on the receiving end of mgr Chriss kindness and dedication to quality customer service. He & the tech took the time to explain everything to me in detail & was more than helpful w/pricing options & deals. Love this location!

I came here to get an inspection to renew my registration.  They told me it would be 15-20 minutes to get it in and then 15-20 minutes to do the inspection.  I was there for over 3 hours.  They told me I needed a parking break light bulb replaced.  I agreed since I would need this to pass inspection.  Then they told me they were fighting with it to get it out.  What kind of auto repair shop cant change a light bulb.  If you have all day to kill, then this is your place.  If you actually want to get an inspection done in a timely manner done by professionals, then please go elsewhere.  Terrible!

I went in with a screw in my tire. Because of where it was the tire would have to be replaced and they were already booked through the weekend. But they took the time to go check it out for me and discovered that it didnt actually puncture the tire and were able to get it out. My lucky day of course but all thanks goes to their top notch service!

Went in for oil change and potential flat tire. Was informed the flat was beyond repair. Sales employee informed me I needed “3 new tires” I went with four as a personal invest into my vehicle. Went back to store and placed deposit on an order that a “tire shop” couldn’t inventory. Fast forward to me the next day getting my tires installed. Once complete I found a spark plug in the BRAND NEW thread of the tires... Not only that I found rim damage that was never present. Only to be rebuffed by the sales associate at to “Some peoples kids”. Business lost.

Went into firestone today for an oil and filter change and they clearly had a lot of business today. Chris the manager had told me that it would take about an hour and half for the change, but unfortunately because of their high volume it ran a bit longer. He comped then change because the Firestone policy is to be honest and I appreciate his kindness although it wasn’t necessary. Would highly recommend to a friend!

I had a bad experience in this place. I got a flat tire and took it to the store, but they told me that it is not subject to the repair without any explanation. Since the car is rented, I told that probably I have to call Hertz so they can cover the cost. The salesman told that it would take several days and recommended to pay out of pocket and then Hertz will reimburse. So, I paid it and later on I called hertz. They told me that I shouldnt pay anything from my pocket and they wont reimburse anything. I am pretty sure the salesman knew the process but just wanted to get money. Clearly it is not a way to treat customers by misleading and cheating.

Chris Sigman and Sean were a huge help and saved us last minute with our flat tire! I called them when they were about to close and they stayed past office hours to help us out. Amazing customer service! Taking care of their customers is what they care about I truly felt like they did. Highly recommended them to anyone here in the oak hill area!

Got some tires installed from tirerack and service was fine and gal at the front was friendly. But yall please do not fall for their upsells. Im lucky enough to be a car guy and know what to look out for but others dont know better and its not yalls fault. All of the chains and even some independent mechanics are very guilty of upselling or simply overcharging for very inexpensive parts like spark plugs and oil. If youre getting major work done, get a second opinion from a reputable independent mechanic. As you can see from my declined services section, it can be a lot of stuff.

Shane was extremely helpful and professional, both over the phone as well as in person and when things took a little longer than expected he took care of me. Total cost for an inspection as well as an oil change didnt go into the triple digits like many many other places would have. Very positive experience and I will be sharing with others and they have gained my return business. (oil change sticker wasnt off center either!)

I trust these guys completely to do whatever needs to be done when working on my car. Have been doing business with them for many years and would not choose to take my business elsewhere. They are awesome!

Chris and his team did a fantastic job for my Volvo S60 T5. They went out of their way to drive to North Austin and pick up 4 new tires and install them on my car within 2 hours. Apparently having a scheduled appointment for an oil change means nothing. Ive been waiting for over an hour and my car still hasnt even been brought in yet. This happened the last time I brought my car in a few months ago. I will definitely be going somewhere else that can keep to their appointment times!

Made an appointment for new tires and an alignment. The car didn’t even get taken in until 2 hours AFTER the “appointment”! If you are going to take a long time be HONEST with your customers and offer them a ride home so they don’t have to sit there for a total of FOUR HOURS! Your service was WORSE than Walmart.. and more expensive.. everyone please save some money and save some time.. go somewhere else! HORRIBLE experience. Would not recommend. Would never return. You should feel ashamed!

I came in a little bit before 4:00 for an oils change and was told it would be between an hour and an hour and a half. Fine I get it people get busy. But I’ve been waiting now for over two hours in the waiting room and they haven’t even brought my truck in to the bay yet! No one has taken the time to tell me why it’s taking so long and since I’ve been here there have been at least four other customers who have come and gone. Maybe they were getting different services done but it doesn’t strike me as professional! I will NOT be returning. (If I even get to leave)

The service at this Firestone is top notch! We moved out of the area and tried another automotive shop but needless to say we go out of our way to come back here for our car needs. I highly recommend this location for its great customer service and good work!

Can’t say enough about this Firestone location and all they did for me. When Jiffy Lube ruined my engine, they helped me get my car towed to their location, and fight for a new engine to be paid for by Jiffy. They went above and beyond in every aspect. They communicated with me frequently, and did more than I could have ever expected. Chris Sigman treated me like first class and fought for me in my claim against JL. He didn’t just fix the car, he took care of me on all the other aspects of this issue. I never leave reviews because i’m busy but this Firestone is worth it. Not to mention, they did an outstanding job FIXING a major breakdown in my car.

Friendly service and convenient location. One of the few locations open on a Sunday. My only problem was that they were very busy and didnt tell me that they had to pick up my tire across town and I was waiting for hours.

Made an appt the previous week because we were told the appt would guarantee that we would be in front of everyone else. Got there and told them we will do some grocery shopping while waiting. However, we come back in 40 mins and our car was still not looked at. Also, someone who just got there was able to get his car in sooner than us.

Got my inspection done here on a pretty busy day, and while in the waiting room witnessed Shane deal with numerous people, some not very friendly, some being difficult, some super impatient, and he maintained his professionalism the entire time, was so sweet and friendly, and made sure all of the customers left satisfied.Will keep coming back because of Shane.

Made an appointment, was told wed be first in line at that time, waited 45 minutes and saw other cars being pulled up into the bays. If im going to have to drop off then Ill do it at a family owned repair shop.

4pm on a Friday Holiday Weekend, car breaks down in oak hill, we walk over to their location and they are full and can’t see us. We explain the situation ( We are from out of town, have a car full of kids including an infant and don’t know what else to do) the manager, Kyle, comes out and assures us that they will do everything possible to get us back on the road even if they have to stay late. And that is exactly what they did, they got us repaired on the road.

You had one job, balance the tires.These jokers refused to balance my tires because I had wheel spacers between the wheels and hubs. When I suggested they just remove the wheel spacers, they said my lug nuts are loose and need replaced.I think they have a few loose nuts at this location, handle with care. Another Firestone shop just down the road balanced my tires without complaints about the wheel spacers or the lug nuts. Its a mystery why the first shop couldnt do it?

Just wanted to say thank you. On the way to airport during a storm out skid plate under the engine broke loose. They quickly attached it for us and off we went. Really appreciated it

I am in town visiting my Grand mother and saw her tire pressure light was on. We sent by Firestone and everyone was very nice. They immediately had us pull around and checked all the tires as well as take out the spare and made sure they were all perfect. Everyone was very friendly and quick. we were on our way in no time!

Wade will take great care of you! We have a Lexus and needed an oil change and new tires. Wade helped us get fantastic tires at 1/3 of the price and he is thorough and detailed. We trust him completely.

I’m so disgusted right now with this garbage establishment. I pulled up to garage at 6:20 (they close at 7) and waited for someone to come up to my car and ask me what I needed done. LIKE EVERY SINGLE CAR SERVICE PLACE DOES! But to my surprise not a single person (of the six that were working) even looks in my direction. Then at 6:50 they proceed to close the garage doors right in front of me. Still no eye contact and no concern for customer service. Thank you for completely wasting my time and making me feel unimportant. I wish I could give lower than 1 star. Pathetic.

There service is amazing. They were very polite and didnt make me Andy son wait long even when they had to go to another location to pick up a second tire I needed. Definitely worth the drive to their location. I drove from dripping springs and they waited for me to get there even tho they were close to closing for the day!

So I was told they would have it done by end of day at 2 pm. 5 hours later I show up and my car hadn’t even moved. Waste of my time. I would prefer the truth and being told it couldn’t be done than to waste my day and nothing get done.

Lies scams, and incompetence. I have had problems with this place in the past but I needed new tires for my car so I decided to give them another shot. I went online I picked out the tires that I needed I chose what services I wanted, I got a quote, and I scheduled an appointment in advance. I have a severely disabled daughter so its important for me to take the steps for preparation. I scheduled my appointment for 8 AM on Monday five full days before the date of my appointment, I got up at 7 AM and drove for 40 minutes to get there, I arranged childcare which is not easy for a kid with special needs. I arrive here and Im told we dont have those tires, we can order them but it will be two or three hours before they get here and another hour for installation I asked what the point was of going through all of this online and setting it up in advance and I was told I dont know what you want me to tell you, we dont have the tires I will never come back here again.

I waited for almost 25 mins to get air in a tire with a nail and talk about new tires. Didnt see ANYONE for the first 15 mins. Then I finally saw 3 people. At least one person saw me with no acknowledgement. I am handicapped and it is difficult to get out of the car and walk. You can bet I am NOT getting new tires at this Firestone!

While they are extremely busy, I have been nothing but satisfied with the work and professionalism. Plan ahead to allow their technicians the time to perform their work. Sandy and the team are courteous and honest.

Went in for an inspection, after an 1.5 hours of waiting car was ready. Not sure how they stay in business with such slow service. Not many people waiting, just slow service.

My sister just took her vehicle to be inspected and waited 2 hours to be told it would not pass due to power steering leak. They said they could fix for $500 and they had financing available if she could not pay today. She was very suspicious since they were telling customers before her (during her long wait) the same type thing. So, she took the vehicle down the street to a mechanic and there is NO LEAK.

Great staff, Phil is always nice and helpful. Talks to me about anything thats going on and tells me whats important and what hell remind me of when I come in next. Always makes sure that I get the coupon price. The staff works hard to were I dont end up waiting that long.

Stuck here after closing with three other very ticked off customers. Dropped a car off with an appointment made a week in advance at 11 am for tires and brakes. At 5, was told it was almost ready. Now its past 7 and no one is working on my car. Meanwhile I get to listen to customer service argue with another customer.Never again.Update: Almost 8:30 pm before I got out. in the process, i caught a mistake on my bill that wouldve resulted in a $230 charge for parts I didnt authorize and that were never put on my car.Also, my heart goes out to one of the other customers, who was still trying to get her car regardless of what work had been done to it after what sounded like 2 days worth of troubles.If there was a 0 star rating, I wouldve given it.

This place is really hit or miss. Some days its great. Other days they lose pieces of your car and do nothing about it.

I went to this location today after work to get my car inspection done. When I arrived they said it could be a 45 minute wait but somehow they got my car right in and it was done in no more than 20 minutes. The gentleman there were super friendly and Wade especially was very personable and made my visit memorable. Ill definitely go back!

These guys are amazing! They have saved me on several occasions, often staying late to fix a flat orfigure out if my car is safe to drive to pick up my kiddos. They dont try to talk me into extra services (though they do recommend things that need to be done), and I dont feel that Ive ever been overcharged for the service they performed. If fact, quite the opposite. I trust these guys completely!

They will rip you off! Same tire at Discount Tire is $85 but Firestone its $160 and they try to sell there bogis warranty that theyll never honor bc it comes with loopholes of how youre supposed to use the tire

I use the 71 West location for my 2002 Ford Explorer. Its an older vehicle so Im there more than I would like to be. Ive never been unhappy with the Service Ive received from this location. I like many ppl used to think there was no way I would take my vehicle to a Firestone however after using this location over the last four years. I wouldnt take my truck anywhere else.

Took my truck in Monday at 930am for them to check the AC because it is blowing warm and a tire rotation and alignment (I purchased the lifetime rotation and the tires are wearing poorly). It previously had dye injected in oder to help find the leak. I asked for a ride home (I live 5 min away) while they work on it and was told that they will give me a ride when they have free time. I guess they never had free time because they never approached me again. My truck was pulled into the bay at 1030am and I had a friend pick me up at 1130am. I didnt hear anything from them by 330pm so I called. they told me they had too many people in line to talk to me so they would call me back. an hour later they called me and said they dont know whats wrong with they AC and they didnt do the rotation and alignment. I went in to get my truck because I needed it that night and couldnt leave it. I asked what they did to diagnose the AC and they said they just looked at it with the UV light, no pressure check, no temperature check, nothing else. I asked why they didnt to the rotation and alignment, they said they were diagnosing the AC. So 8 hours to look at my truck with a UV light, while not figuring out what is wrong with it, and not completing the worked I asked for. They said to bring it back at 7am and they would drain and refill the AC and do the rotation and alignment before I needed my truck at 1030am. (oh and they lost my keys and ticket, they searched and texted for them for 15 min).Im the first one at the shop at 645am the next day. they take my information (She has no idea what needs to be done, no documentation from the previous day) promises 1030am completion and takes my keys. 930am rolls around, 5 or 6 cars have been pulled in and out (people that arrived after me) and my truck hasnt been touched. I ask for my keys back because there is no way they would complete this work correctly in an hour.It is extremely disappointing to waste a day and a half at a shop and have absolutely nothing at all done to fix your car. I will never go back to this location. Im going to try another Firestone because I have the lifetime rotation. If they are as horrible as this location I will be seeking a refund with franchise owners.
