Friendly attendants. Can purchase dryer sheets and detergent... Great bc I forgot mine! Great number of machines even on a busy Saturday! Commercial size dryers big enough to do my comforters! Can even use wifi while I wait! And extremely cool on hot Austin days!

I was so thankful to come here to a clean, operational laundromat since the laundry facilities at my apartment at the Hendrix has not been operational or clean in months. Today the last dryer broke down and I was panicked because I had a hamper full of soaking wet clothes. I punched in the closet laundromat and was so happy that this one was only a 4 minute drive. Ill be coming here from now on because its affordable and efficient.

Staff was very helpful and kind! The facilities were clean and everything was in working order. Tons of machines to choose from depending on your price range and load size needed. Bring your debit/credit card and load money onto a machine card if you do not want to use quarters. Super easy, but if you need help the first time they got your back!

Very happy with the service I received. I took my sons comforters and weighted blanket in to be washed when he returned from college. I just dropped it off and it was ready the next day. Will definitely be back.

I dropped off a weighted blanket to have it washed. The attendant was friendly and helpful and my blanket was ready the same day which was ahead of schedule. I was impressed with the facility as it was clean and well organized. I would recommend Washaotopia to anyone and I will go there again.

I have been to a few different laundry facilities since moving here almost a month ago, and this one is by far my favorite. My only complaint is that it is not open very late and I prefer to do my laundry after the kids go to sleep.

Put my clothes in the washer and my detergent (which isn’t cheap) & at 8:25 pm they shut off the washer , so when I asked the laundry attendant what was going on her reply was “oh I guess they shut the washers off early tonight” 🙃 so I had to move all my items to another washer and wasted my laundry detergent.

Ok place in a pinch and had free wifi. Room was fairly clean and TV with movies going. Wish there was more comfortable seating. Vending machines empty. You can use credit/debit card but you have to purchase a $1 Washatopia laundry card first.

I havent used the washeteria since the 80s. However due to the house not recovering quite yet from the blizzard I have no washer and dryer so I tried them out. I was pleasantly surprised got two weeks worth of laundry done for about $20

The place is clean, well kept and with plenty of washers and dryers of all sizes. However, it requires you to use a card forcing you to spend more than you need. I have, for example, a balance of 3 dollars that I will never get to use.

Great place to do laundry. Its very clean and spacious. Tons of different size washer and plenty of dryers. They also offer drop off service.The only negative thing is, the parking situation kinda sucks and it does get pretty busy, especially on the weekend

Dryer went out, so i had to find someplace quick. This laundromat is big, clean and spacious. The young lady helped me out by pointing out i had to buy a card first. Tricky little system they have, but beats having to carry a roll of quarters! Should i ever need to wash/dry again this is my go-to place!

This is by far the nicest and friendliest laundry mat I have been to. Its affordable and easy to use. The staff is helpful and friendly. The machines are always clean and well maintained. Free coffee and good shows/movies are there to pass the time away.

Expensive place to do laundry! $3.95 for a medium load but jumps to $4.90 if you change the setting to heavy wash. Not exactly sure their charges. Also, you have to get their money card to start the machines. You cannot use your personal credit cards. Looking for a reasonably priced laundry mat.

I had an incident that could have turned into a nightmare , but thank God for the awesome lady that works the morning shift, I wish I knew her name, she completely saved the day! She went over and beyond for something that was ultimately my mistake. She is an amazing employee and definitely deserves a raise! Will definitely be back to this location! Thanks again.

The staff was very nice but the only reason I took off one star is cause the system they use seems a bit outdated. If you want to load your laundry card with money, you don’t get to choose which amount you want to add. The only options you have are: $10, $20, $30 and $40. Also the card reader wouldn’t read my card, I had to try it like 20 times (both the laundry card reader and the debit/credit card reader) other than that the place was nice. It was clean, quiet, there’s a restroom, and the WIFI works fast. Overall 4 stars. I recommend updating the system, maybe go fancy and get Apple Pay / Android Pay.

This place has all coin-less washers and dryers, which is very nice. The place is always clean and the area is safe.

Since my washing machne gave out, I have been driving from the East side of Pflugerville, Texas, to the west side of Austin, with a mini-van full of laundriuuy and any poor soul I can lure into igoing with me to help to go to Washatopia. There are certainly laundrymats closer, but none that comes close to being as nice, clean and friendly as Washatopia! You can smell.the freshness !

The owner of this place is a patient dude and a kind man. He has always treated me with respect and been nothing but great to the customers I see him interact with.

Coming here regularly for last 3 years. Great place to wash and dry cloths with reasonable rate. It offers free wifi which is a plus. Enough number of machines that you dont have to wait even on busiest of days.

The owner that stole my clothes claims that she has attempted to resolve this issue, that is a lie. I have asked her several times what she feels is a fair amount to give me, and she refuses to answer. I can only assume she wants to give me nothing for the clothes I took there and were stolen.

This place is great! I’ve been coming here for many years and it’s always been clean, and the staff is so friendly! I watched them today have to deal with a very difficult customer, It was handled well and i more than ever, appreciate them keeping the place and their customers safe!

An amazing place. Everyone ive met is very nice and its quite. Cheap as well. I have a leftover card with some cash if anyone wants it.I have my own now but I do miss just talking with people and watching movies there with them.

I went in today to do my laundry and found that this location does not require face masks of its customers nor of its staff. A young lady, the only employee that I saw, was not wearing a face covering while handling and f olding customers clothes. When I suggested the need to wear a covering she replied Im not going to. She also had a poor attitude about helping me with the change machine and a problem with someone moving my laundry from one machine to another. Very poor attitudes here. As an update to my original post. I called Travis county not realizing that you were in Williamson County. Being in Williamson County you are allowed to not follow the guidelines that all medical professionals recommend. You are not requiring face masks and you are not cleaning your facilities properly. Poor and failing attitudes. Sad...

Clean and great machines. Just a little pricey I think

Ive been using this place for awhile and have been mostly satisfied. It was often difficult to find machines, especially together, because they do a lot of laundry for people. Today I showed up and there was a handwritten note on the door saying you could no longer take the baskets to your car to load your laundry. Given that you have to park pretty far away most of the time, this is a deal breaker for me. I cant carry heavy baskets long distances and it will be even more impossible after tomorrow. Im having surgery tomorrow and was planning on having them do my laundry for me until I recovered. This new policy has cost them a formerly loyal customer. I found a place just around the corner and its even cheaper! Its not good business practice to make your customers look elsewhere because they might find something better.UPDATE: I understand that the baskets should not get wet and the floor muddy but it was not raining and the parking lot was dry when I arrived. When I cashed in my card and told the attendant that not being able to take the baskets out was a deal breaker for me, no offer to help carry my baskets was made. I was almost in tears, I was so frustrated, especially since I had previously discussed with this same attendant having them do my laundry due to my upcoming surgery. A simple sentence added to the door note would have solved the problem; Please ask if you need assistance.

I brought my laundry in on a Wednesday. The place wasnt overly busy. The staff is very friendly. The place was really clean. My clothes came out looking really good. Be mindful of the fact that the washers and dryers dont take cash, you have to put your money on a card to use throughout the facility. Once I figured my way around and became incredibly easy to use the system.

I am appalled. I can’t tolerate when someone is degrading to another human. Especially to customers. Especially is it’s a staff member!! A Hispanic lady said “Hispanic people are a mess” straight to my face when I disagreed with something. Instead of a civilized conversation she proceeds to say that to my face.. very unprofessional.

They dont wear masks here. The employees on duty or their family. No one wore a mask. Personally i wear mine, people i care about may die if i get them sick. If you dont want to wear a mask this is the place for you!!

The dryer was fast and the washing machines were faster. A little bit more expensive then the hotel but exceptable

We recently moved back to Texas. Our new residence will not be ready for 4-6 weeks. So, we are staying in a hotel. Needless to say, we needed to do laundry. This was the closest facility to our hotel. The facility is very clean and well maintained. The customer service area seemed to be open, but we never saw an employee. Everything in this place has to be paid for with the companys debit card. You have to buy one ($1.00). Then you have to add credits to the card. If you are using your credit or debit card to add these credits, the minimum you can add is $10.00 We found out why. The available washers were $4.75 per load (minimum) and the dryers are $1.00 per 15 minutes. We did three loads and it cost us $22.00 total. Their equipment is good, but outrageously priced. You will have to decide for yourself if this place is worth it.

Nice place, Washers appeared clean, dryers as well. You can only use the pre-paid card, which isnt bad... although you pay a fee to purchase the card, then another to load the card. Machine didnt give me the card at first, and honestly the attendant was a bit... rude when informing the signs says this machine doesnt give cards and after moving the sign to where I could read it... sure enough... it did! Overall, never any major issues. Not being able to take the baskets out sucks at times but I just make the extra trip/make lighter loads to carry/park closer when I can. Depending on the day/time, they are doing loads for customers that drop off and it can be hard to find washers/dryers. I wait if I really need to do laundry that day or come back another time/day. I have had staff help and pull out loads from the dryer that people have left for a long time and not returned. The attendant said they only do that if people are waiting and there are no dryers open. Staff have not been rude. Some are more chatty than others-understandable. I have been going to this location off/on for 3 years even when other places might be cheaper or closer. I feel safe at that location.

This is a really nice and organized laundromat. The washers and dryers are heavy duty and can accommodate quite a load. We were able to wash rugs and comforters with no problems at all. They offer drop off and pick off wash and fold service, although I dont know the cost. The cost for the heavy duty washers is pretty expensive thought to $7. The good news is they have an attendant on site. The place is pretty clean too.

Great staff, its clean, uses an available money card from the machine where you add money to it. It has a dual-sex/family restroom, extra large washers and dryers and smaller traditional deep washers. Reasonable prices, dryers and washers are clean, work really well. My honest opinion though, youre going to spend $25-30 washing a household full of laundry on one visit and it gets expensive. Better off having your own washer and dryer at home for convenience and short term and long term financial savings. However, if you were lime I was, you have to do what you have to do if your apartment doesnt have laundry facilities. This one was cool, has multiple TVs, folding tables, and some chairs to sit and wait. Everyone uses it, all races, ages, singles, married and couples. Not a lot of kids running around. The place is modern, well managed. Snack and soda machine available, change available when you add money to wash card. Card costs a $1.

Temporarily without my W&D, so having to use a laundromat. I stumbled across Washatopia online & really like it. Their use of cards for the machines is much more convenient than cash. The place is always clean & tidy, and the machines are almost always in operating order. The help has been consistently pleasant, polite & helpful, especially the nice young lady who patiently trained me on the whole process of purchasing & using the card. Overall, highly recommended - almost makes doing laundry a pleasure. Almost. :-)

Went to this place for 5 years, fine enough. However latest experience was horrible. Not a single person wearing masks during the middle of a pandemic. Management(Laura) has said they’re distancing even though while other places shut off every other machine or block off every other seat, absolutely everything is open so people are right on you. All of staff isn’t wearing masks. When asked, Laura stated it was because everyone had a medical condition, then that they wore them 98% of the time, I guess ignoring the multiple other reviews of customers stating the same thing.As you’ll see, their response to 1 star reviews is to go on the attack. They tried this tried and true method with me, attempting to state that I stayed in the laundromat the whole time and threatening to release camera footage showing me there apparently when I waited in my car to get away from the unmasked staff. When I called their bluff knowing that I wasn’t in there and gave them a description of exactly what I was wearing and an exact time stamp , Laura, being caught in a lie, and knowing she mistook me for another customer took down this veiled threat. She even implied I said something I didn’t to her workers. Again, when that was proven to be wrong she took down the snarky rude response, under the guise she was “taking the high ground” and totally not because their bullying tactics for criticism DIDNT work in this case and they were about to be proven extremely wrong.This would have been a situation where if after the pandemic ended I’d have been keen to giving them another shot. Due to the un professionalism of this business and blatant disregard for safety, not only will I not be returning but what was once a simple review has turned into me telling everyone I know to avoid this place. Abhorrent business practices.Laura if you stand by what you believe in, release the video tape you say you have of me sitting around in there. You may believe in your heart but it absolutely doesn’t change the facts. I’m giving you a chance to show those facts. Little pricey but very easy to use self service. Attendants were cleaning the machines frequently.

We love this place. By far it it the best laundry mat in which I have ever been. I even went so far as to tell my friends about this place! No where are you able to wash 8 loads in one swoop and in As little at 30 minutes. The commercial machines make our luge much easier as we wait to save up for our very own washer and dryer.

Just stop searching for a safe place to do laundry and go there now. Just trust me already and get yourself over here. They have coffee so just go already. Dont forget your laundry. Please bring it in a cute container. That means you guys, stop with the trash bags and flimsy baskets. Go shopping. Get yourself together. While you are at it, be organized like me. Make a special backpack for laundry visits. Load up you Tide, your add- ins, like softener, vinegar...for your stinky dog items (trust me, it works), and essential oils. Dont forget your dryer sheets or wool balls that you can put lavender essential oil drops on...you want nice laundry, right? Sorry about my English. Also, put some hangers in this backpack, along with a clothes bag. I know you one somewhere, if not, you can use a trash bag but a nice clothes bag looks so much nicer in your get away vehicle. Bring two bags because we all know that you skipped you laundry last week. Make sure you bring a book or magazine or a computer or your guitar. If you cant entertain yourself, entertain the rest of us. And yes, I keep search g for THAT guy. He was there and it was beautiful. Oh, and if you have to they have movies there.*Dont worry about getting anywhere to get quarters. Just bring your wallet and walk yourself over to the wall by the coffee. Other countries do this so stop tripping. Press the screen and get a white card. Then put money on that card with your card. Dont be stingy with your laundry here. Think about it, sweaty season is coming, we know you havent washed your pillowcases or pillows in ...EVER. Plus, going without undies is cool but they are nice, and you wash 3 times a month right? So load up your card, Brothers and Sisters. Think of it this way, you are buying yourself great smelling clothes, a place to have coffee, a place to watch a movie, a place to catch some rays outside and a place to meet your neighbors. This is a family place, so it sorts of gets you back on the ground when the city is windy to your soul.While you wait, you can walk over to the next business place to get your hair cut or to grab a burger and brew. I just walk over there and you can too. You need the fresh air.*The last load can be put in the washers at 8PM so for you, make that 7:45PM. You will want to have time to dry your towels.*I hope by now, you have gathered your stuff and your go to backpack and are headed over.*This is the one place in Austin that looks nice, is nice, and is run by genuinely nice people.*It is CLEAN, safe and kept running like a ship at sea (yes, I was in the military).*As always, be cool, open the doors for the next person trying to get in out out with their arms full; dont keep the death grip on your empty laundry cart, let me use it too; make room on the tables for that lady with huge blankets, brownie points for helping folding huge blankets; and if you dont want that ugly shirt, there is a bin outside for recycling, and please bring your old books and magazines and leave them by the coffee. And please bring cookies to share.*Dont forget your laundry.*Things I have done that you should avoid.Watch that you put your soap in your own washer and not the one next to it....same concept for the dryers, the arrows point up or down...so dont load up the wrong one. Love this laundry matt but VERY MUCH wish they would enforce the posted rules when people want to fold their clothes at the matt while a sign is posted asking us not to do so to limit time inside and open space available to flatten the Covod 19 curb. My grandfather just passed away from it two days ago so seeing that others just dont care about infecting others is awful. Please enforce your distancing rules for the public health :(

Omg! I havent been to a laundromat in forever. This is great. Washing four loads of laundry at once, sounds great to me. Time for my winter blankets to be washed.I knew that you can take your clothes to the cleaners to be cleaned, but not all my clothes need to be dry cleaned. Here they will wash your clothes for you. Cool!The inside is kept very clean and neat.There is a real live person on the premises to answer questions. Highly recommend.

Great place to wash clothes. It was big, clean, all of the machines were in working order, theres a small area for little kids to play, attendant was courteous, it has 2 big flat screen televisions and free coffee. Ill be back.

Staff and half of customers not wearing masks. if you are covid high risk like i am, you will want to find another facility. i have no problem with the services or facility.
