I can hear!! I cried when I left the office. I had been somewhat deaf in my right ear for at least 4 years. It was so bad that I planned on going to get fitted for a hearing aid, but my family doctor suggested getting my ears cleaned. What a difference!! RK Audiology had friendly staff and the service was incredibly quick! Worth every penny!

I went to RK Audiology for an ear cleaning and had a very great experience. I was with Paula and Cassandra who are both very knowledgeable and were able to answer all my questions. They even give me tips on how to prevent clogged ears in the future. I highly recommend them and wouldnt hesitate to go back, either for an ear cleaning or something more involved.

I went in for my first ear cleaning ever! Was reasonably priced and quick! Didn’t even take 20 minutes to completely clean out of my ear! Staff was super friendly and fun to be around.

I am a Lyric hearing aid patient ( these are the type that are embedded in your ear canal for 2 months). I want to compliment Victoria who addressed some issues I was having snd made the adjustment that improved the clarity of my hearing with the Lyrics.

Dr. Victoria Villarreal, who has her doctorate in Audiology, is patient and thorough. She understands elderlys hesitancy on cost and technology but has, through patience and instruction, made my mother the happiest she has been with hearing aids in her 30 years of use. Since returning to Texas, my mother has had their help with everything from testing to repairs to muddling through the insurance to recently fitting Mom with her favorite hearing aids yet, Sonic Captivate (no batteries!). My husband referred us to Dr. Villarreal after she assisted with his getting Lyric in-the-canal hearing aids by Phonak. We are thankful for such a caring conscientious office. Weve been using the office on Bee Caves Rd in The Schoolyard but the staff goes between locations.

Dr. V,Ok, let me give you my first impressions of the OTICON MORE. Spoiler alert… they’re amazing!After I left your clinic I went to grab a burger and beer. While in the restaurant I popped open the app on the phone and it appeared to have switched to program 2 (complex) and the button for that program was “glowing” from dim to lit. The results were indescribable, but I’ll try. I could hear EVERYTHING but nothing was annoying. Only the sounds I needed were there. I could hear the 2 girls on the other side of the room talking, the natural ambient sounds of the restaurant and not only that, I streamed some music at the same time and could still hear all the other sounds including the dude that called my name when my order was ready, all while hearing the room and the music at the same time at a seemingly low volume. No discomfort.It gets better… so I’m sitting there with this big smile on my face about what I’m experiencing and my phone rings. It’s my wife wanting to know how things went and the devices picked up the call flawlessly yet I continued to be able to hear what was going on around me very clearly.It gets even better… I’m listening to music in my vehicle and because of the technology and the open dome I’m able to hear all the usual low/mids and now the highs as well. I can’t remember when music sounded this way but it’s truly a miracle. Of course when I got home I immediately plugged my electric guitar into my pedal board and amp and I’m still grinning ear to ear. To hear sounds that I haven’t heard in decades is a blessing and a privilege and I’m certain it is not just the technology (which may be the best there is right now), but also your care and the detailed attention you paid to my REM during my treatment today.p.s.The care and attention of the audiologist is the KEY to making any of the available devices work properly. Incredible service. They go out of their way to make sure that you get what you need and that you are 100% satisfied. I came in for some custom earplugs and Paula noticed that they didn’t fit properly. I couldn’t really tell, but she insisted that they take a more accurate scan of my ear and create a pair of better ear plugs...for no additional cost. AND I got to keep the first pair as a backup. Simply great service.

They were very friendly and patiently explained my hearing loss and the reasoning behind their recommendations. They made it an enjoyable experience... more so than others, I’ve been too. The Martin guitar in the waiting area is the perfect touch.

The people there are extremely knowledgeable about hearing devices, and customizing them to your needs. Since they service the music industry as well, they are very fine- tuned to getting and keeping your settings the best for you. Friendly, service oriented, and the best. Highly recommend RK.

My wife and I bought our first set of hearing aids 3 years ago. The model was near the top of the line and we paid good money for it. However the improvement in hearing was inadequate and we stopped wearing them after 6 months or so.Then last fall my wifes internist recommended RK Audiology. Our audiologist, Allison, throughly evaluated our hearing and recommended hearing aids. She then set them to best compensate for our hearing losses. We are very pleased. Excellent testing and knowledgeable professions made a big difference. Throughout the entire process, they were also very helpful and courteous

I had issues with my hearing aids from the beginning. Went back to the audiologist (not Paula) where I purchased them and received that is as good as it gets response. Paula had a solution that is working great. My hearing aids went fro OK to great. Thanks so much!

I could not have had a better experience at RK Audiology! I was offered water and coffee when I walked it, I filled out my paperwork in a cozy modern chair and then I immediately proceeded to the appointment. Paula answered all the questions I had while preforming the ear impressions efficiently and professionally. Everything was explained in detail and I even got a pair of $20 earplugs for free to use until my custom ones are completed. Overall I would recommend RK to anybody who needs somebody to take care of their ears!

I recently got a new hearing aid through RK Audiology and am loving it so far. Amazing service and so professional! I would recommend Paula and her team at RK. I had my Shure earpieces custom fitted and Paula did the examination, cleaning and received the item a couple of weeks later. I had a problem with the right side and made an appointment to get service. Paula showed me the issue and was so kind to not even charge me. Amazing experience working with the team on custom in-ear monitor sleeves from Sensaphonics. In addition to doing an amazing job with the ear impressions which translated into perfect fit sleeves, the team was an absolute pleasure to work with; such a cool little Austin gem. I had the immense pleasure of being helped by Paula and Janet who in my opinion are in the top Audiologist practices I have had in my 28 years of wearing hearing aids.I was visiting Austin over the holidays and was experiencing issues with my aids. Paula brought e in and in a very professional and methodical manner diagnosed my problem.She took my claims very seriously and verified my ear health before moving on to the aid. The issue was resolved by replacing a component of my aid, but she then called the hearing aid provider to double check if my issue was a common one. Very thorough, knowledgable and approachable.

I had trouble with wax build -up in my ears, an embarrassing and difficult problem. Paula explained treatment procedures and options and invited me to come to their office for further info and or treatment. I found their office to be very clean, pleasant and relaxing. Paula inspected, then gently but thoroughly cleaned my ear while explaining what she was doing every step of the way. I found relief immediately. She also explained preventative treatment and invited me to come back anytime. I highly recommend these folks for their professional, clean, inviting accommodations.

My wife and I contacted RK Audiology to get fit for custom Westone ear plugs before SXSW 2018. We go to lots of shows and had long been telling ourselves that we needed to protect our hearing, so this year we decided to actually do something about it. Paula was great to work with--she did a brief ear exam (with fun video of our ear canals!), helped us decide on the right level of protection for our needs and made molds of our ears to send to Westone. Her staff is professional and organized and made the whole process very easy. Were really enjoying the results. Our new earplugs fit great and were comfortable to wear for a 3-band lineup. The sound is fantastic, very transparent and still pleasantly loud like you want a live show to be, just within a more safe level. We went with 10Db filters, but there are options to reduce the sound even further if youd prefer. Cant recommend enough!

The folks at Rk are awesome. They make you feel like they care, and I think they do. I am very happy with my Widex, nearly invisible, Bluetooth hearing aids

Wow! I went to see Paula and Janet to see about custom fit earbuds for use with my iPhone. They explained all my options in great detail and I decided on a pair of professional grade earplugs that can also be used with a set of Westone earbuds for music. Turns out, the earplugs are fantastic but the earbuds left a lot to be desired.I emailed Paula and Janet asking if I could return the earbuds and use the cost towards a better set specifically designed for this use. Not only did they credit the cost I paid, but gave me the best price on the new set (Etymotic hf3) they could find on the internet and then gave me a discount since the first pair did not work.I am now the proud owner of a professional pair of earplugs to use for music, F1, Moto GP, etc and I have a world class pair of noise cancelling earbuds to listen to my music - all at the best price one could expect to find anywhere.On top of all this, they are professional, friendly, and just down right great to work with. If you are music lover or music professional, you need to go see Pauls and Janet and RK Audiology.
