I love waxing! I have been a waxer for over 5 years. It’s wonderful once you get through the initial first wax and you get into your own waxing routine.I’m new to Austin. I have been using Kristen for about 3 months. There are some things that stand out right away about her and her services. First, I notice how efficient she is. She waxes me so quickly, getting every hair. I find it amazing. Second, for whatever reason, I’m not sure why, waxing is just not as painful with her. I usually take a couple of Advil before I get waxed. I don’t feel like I need it with her so I’ve stopped. Third, her cost is beyond reasonable. Fourth, she is so easy to work with. Scheduling is a breeze! I love Kristen and will continue on using HK Wax Center!

My eyebrows quite literally have a mind of their own and I’ve never found anyone that I wanted to return to after a brow wax...until Kristen. She took her time with me on my first visit studying my eyebrows, explaining what the plan of attack was to get them to where I wanted to be and really genuinely cared about perfecting my brows. She also gave great instruction on avoiding plucking between sessions and has shaped my brows into a shape I ACTUALLY love! I completely trust her and recommend her to anyone. I was in desperate need of an eyebrow wax, but was short on time since I was about to leave town and had a bunch of errands to run. However, Kristen was able to squeeze me in and work around my schedule. SAME DAY APPOINTMENT scheduled around me!! I even got a text confirmation - which I really loved! I went to the HKWax Center on Saturday and Kristen, the owner, was wonderful. She removed all my billy goat hairs on my chin and lips and also did my neck. It was really very painless and it feels so wonderful. I highly recommend to go to her for your hair removal. She is very friendly and takes pride in her work. The cubicle that she has was meticulous and very sanitary. She is extremely friendly and enjoyed the conversation that we had. She is a super person and I will be going to her from now on. She gets a five star rating from me.

Ive used Kristen even before The Hissn Kitten and stayed a loyal when she made the jump! Not really big on waxing when it comes to underarms or down south, but I much prefer waxing my nose, ears and brows. The process is surprisingly quick and painless with these areas when The Hissn Kitten is your choice! If you havent yet, Id try her out. The place is small, but meticulously clean. Prices are pretty much standard in the industry. Scheduling is a breeze when you plan ahead. 5 stars for sure!

Kristen is fantastic! I was apprehensive about having a full on wax but she made me feel so comfortable. The time actually flys by when Im there; she is just great to talk to. She is always on time, her studio is beautiful and clean. Cant recommend her enough! (also she uses a different wax then most places which stops me from breaking out, and its less painful then the wax strips.)

Kristen is amazing. Ive gotten my armpits waxed at other places and have had bad experiences. Kristen at hiss n kitten makes you feel comfortable and calm. I did a sit in for a Brazilian and I would think those to be the most awkward waxings ever, but again Kristen makes it bearable and comfortable. I will be going back for future waxings.
