Blake provided excellent customer service and always kept me updated on my vehicle. He went above and beyond to make sure me and my vehicle were taken care of. When I dropped off my truck with Gerber, it just about look totaled. When I returned to pick up my truck,I was impressed with the quality of work. My truck looked like it just came off the showroom floor! They did an excellent job matching the paint and they even went above and beyond and installed a new bed liner for free, polished my truck and cleaned the inside! They are professionals and really take pride in what they do, I highly recommend this shop!

After experiencing some awful customer service with another local company regarding simply getting an estimate for a completely covered repair, I asked my coverage provider for another company and they recommended Gerber. From the moment I called Blake was an amazing help and reassured me that they would take great care of my car. What the other company stated would take them 7-10 business days to repair Blake made sure I got my car back in 48 hrs! He was very prompt in submitting the estimate and ensures that I was notified every step of the way regarding the progress of the job! Paul was a great help when I arrived to pick up my car, they took their time going through all of the paperwork and made sure that they answered any and all of my questions! Even though my repairs were all exterior, they vacuumed all three rows of my vehicle! I will absolutely be recommending them to everyone I know. You don’t often find a service company with such care, kindness, and swiftness but they’ve got it all at Gerber! Thanks again Blake and Paul, you guys are lifesavers :)

Paul was really nice! My mums car was hit a while back and they were so nice to her. Especially when she does not speak a lot of English. They made the process painless. Right next door to Enterprise Car Rental..She was hit again recently and we were glad to find out she could take her new car back to Gerber!

Blake Jones did a outstanding job on my 2020 tundra. A guy ran a stop sign and nailed me on my drivers door. Took my truck to Blake Jones at gerber collision and he handle it all and even texted me pictures of my truck while getting it fixed. My truck was finished and it came out lookin brand new again thanks Blake Jones a gerber collision. True professional!!

Gerber Collision is the best! I would not trust my vehicles elsewhere. They have excellent facilities and multiple paint rooms. The work is high quality, and they made my 2012 GL look brand new. The service is very fast and friendly, and they coordinated seamlessly with my car rental and insurance. They also have an excellent communication system that keeps you up to speed with repairs along every step of the process. They have a superb lifetime warranty on the work, and they are nationwide. So its easy to get the same high quality service even when youre out of town.

Highly recommend these folks. I was the 3rd car involved in an accident where I was at a stop sign and one of the other two vehicles involved in a crash was pushed into me. Geico recommended this shop and they were excellent. Truck looks like new and they even detailed the interior before pickup. Chris communicated often and answered questions quickly. Great experience all the way around.

Very disappointed, especially being a repeat customer and a fellow business owner. Our commercial vehicle was stuck in the mud and just needed to be pulled out. Dispatch was supposed to contact my stranded driver and supposedly called 3 times, but driver never received a call. Stuff happens, I get it, but when I called back to inquire, I was told they were busy and to get someone else. Did just that and got much better service and response. In my business, time is money and my truck being stuck half the day was a huge blow. Will never use or recommend Aus-Tex moving forward.

I was recently in a car accident and had my car towed to Austex for repair. Unfortunately, they had to total my car but my experience with this company was fantastic. I had a few thing to retrieve from my car and they pulled up in a golf cart and drove me to it! They were very kind the entire time and I was very pleased with their service.

Just picked up my Tahoe from AusTex these guys are awesome great work ,extremely polite and fast ! They started working on my truck the same day !

I was referred to Aus-Tex by GEICO after a hit-and-run, and Paul recognized that there was no real damage to my vehicle beyond some paint transfer. He buffed it out, free of charge. Nothing better than an honest body shop! Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, when I first moved here to Austin, I was involved in a car accident that nearly totaled my car. Thankfully, Aus-Tex was able to repair my car in a timely fashion, only taking about four days to replace my windshield, front right tire, replace the airbags, realign the wheels, etc. It was actually expected to take twice as long so I am very pleased! So far, there have not been any problems with my car after the repairs and Im hoping it stays that way.The only complaint I can think of is that they forgot to reattatch the shade on my the passengers side.

I am so grateful for AusTex. I accidentally walked into the place next door and it was SO awkward. No one greeted me and I just stood there for a few minutes. Then they told me the place I was supposed to go was next door!As soon as I walked in to AusTex, everyone was SO nice. Allison helped me with my rental car quickly so I could get to work Monday morning. I dropped my car off and they had it back to me by Wednesday looking like a new car.The text updates were great. Paul is a great guy and did such a great job on my car. They cleaned my carpet, the car smelled so clean inside, and they even shined my tires! I was amazed how nice my car looked. I seriously drove away feeling like a princess.After such a stressful situation with the damage to my car, words cannot describe how thankful I am for such a perfect experience with AusTex, but I figured it was worth a shot. My initial impressions were 5/5. However, by the time I was done with the place I say 1/5.A car rear ended me and I was recommended by Geico to this shop. They replaced all the body damage that was needed and even worked in a better bumper than I had before. Awesome right?Well, literally two miles down the road after leaving their lot my truck makes a loud POP sound and the engine sounded like it was winding extremely high. I turn around to return to Aus-Tex and my truck completely shuts off. No power steering. No electrical. Nothing. THEN smoke starts pouring out from under my hood and my truck starts draining oil.Im using this term correctly: I LITERALLY just pulled out of their shop and all this happens. My truck was in healthy condition prior to rolling into the shop.At the end of the day, the shop or Geico did not take responsibility for the parts and labor I PAID into making my truck run again.Im not placing blame on the shop for doing anything on purpose but I am very well convinced somebody did not do their job correctly. The shop either a) accidentally jacked something up or b) my truck was not properly diagnosed from the accident. Either way, this was the most stressful birthday weekend I ever had in my life.

They did an awesome job on our 2015 Ford F250.We had a lot of damage due to a bad storm and Chris kept us in the loop during the entire process of restoring our truck to new again.I highly recommend Austex to everyone.You will be impressed.

We found AusTex through Geico, our insurance company. Through holidays and adverse conditions these guys have done an excellent job repairing our vehicles from accidents and aging.Doug even stayed late for Us to come pick us our vehicles. They can be a bit slow about contacting you but their service is always friendly and courteous. Id go back there any day..

I would highly recommend these guys, especially if you have Geico Insurance. I made an appointment thru Geicos website, showed up the next day, Enterprise brought over my rental car, and I was out the door in 30 minutes. I was kept informed on the progress of the car repairs and was back in my car in a week. Paul was fantastic and I would recommend him to anyone.

Have had minor fender-bender work done here on several occasions over the past 15 years without problem. They work well with my insurance company (GEICO) and the job is completed when promised. Very surprised to see so many bad experiences.

Long story short. Geico gave us a runaround, waiting for calls, different people answering - a lot of apologizing and no one is on the same page.Geico customer service isnt prompt and the last person gave us an instruction to go to Austex. Upon going to Austex, we explained the situation and Geiko and Austex are on two different spectrums. Neither one knows what is going on, we gave clear answers as to what Geico customer service told us to say and Austex has no idea what to do. Its pretty frustrating that Austex has no idea what to do, but even more frustrating about the number of people on the line for Geico who havent done their part to ensure all the information between Geico and Austex is synced so this whole situation could have worked out smoothly.Why Im giving a single star to Austex for is.. the service. It seems like that lady sitting the front has no concern for our plight, another employee who asked us questions isnt doing enough. Maybe contact Geico who told us to go here and get the information Austex needs to help us out? Seems like weve been sitting here for a while just looking stupid while waiting on a return call from Geico cause Austex isnt going to do anything more.

Did a good job towing our vehicle, but the woman they have that answers the phone and schedules the towing could be improved upon quite a bit.The person that answers your phone is the face to your business.

I had warranty work back in May 2015 through Geico done here as a recommended body shop from some guy who rear ended me. Absolutely horrific experience.I was quoted 4 days, called me at day 7 and said its going to be a little longer, and then day 13 rolls around and I finally get my vehicle.The vehicle was noticibly repaired wrong, the vehicle was repaired to hide damages (not fix them - to save themselves money), they never paid the bill for the rental (enterprise called me 11/10/15 to tell me that AusTex never paid the rental car bill (and that theyve been contacting them for over 3 months) so now I owe $1800 in 3 days)-Since I had my insurance company/enterprise hound Austex, they have now paid - but absolutely 100% do not go to this place. There are CLEARLY far superior body shops around - do your research and pick a better shop. Dont even bother.

They finished work promptly and in the manner they indicated. They also held my vehicle an extra week as I was out of town.

I had quite a different experience than most people here. Brought my mazda 3 to Austex about a week ago. Someone rear ended me and pretty much destroyed the back of my car. When I picked it up the guy who worked there was incredibly friendly. Brought me to my car, looked great. What I noticed afterwards was they cleaned the inside! They also fixed scratches that I didnt even pay for! Overall, awesome experience. The lady working for Geico (cant remember her name) was also super great at the office there. I normally never write reviews, but these guys really motivated me to get on here and write one for them since nowadays its tough to find any good customer service.

Like most people posting here I had a terrible experience here. There are many reputable places here in Austin. If you go here I guarantee you will regret it!!

So we took our car in on a Monday to be repaired for dents of vandalism, well we went to pic it up 7 days later and the car had compound on the door handles. So we left it to get cleaned and when we came back to pick it up lil behold what did we find A FREAKIN DOOR DING and OVERSPRAY!!!!! After taking the car back in (DAY 9) we are just praying that nothing else will be wrong with it, so fingers crossed!!!!!My advice is do your homework... i thought i did but realized later it was a different location i had reviewed.......Arghhhh!!! never again!
