The watchmaker working there is an old timer. Lol But he is accurate and doesnt fail like the new ones. He knows his stuff and he has a lady working with him,they both make s great team. You can see it. He is one of the few left in the trade. If you need your watch serviced, I highly recommend Americo watch repair shop.

Went in because window clearly states jewelry repair when I asked a woman working there she told me they did not do repairs on Jewelry. I told her I had seen her sign then she walked away and told me to have a nice day as she walked away from me. I would never go in for a repair watch there after this.

Americo is very trust worthy the best watch maker is the state. If I had a $50,000 watch I would not be nervous if he took every gear out of it for a repair. His wife works with him and she is very nice also!

They currently aren’t open for whatever reason and they don’t return phone calls. I took my watch in to get it repaired over a month ago and it’s impossible to get it back because they are not open and they do not return phone calls !!

Went there once. They were great. Prompt service, reasonable price. Went back and they are closed. They sign says they are closed Sun and Mon. Their hoyrs are supposed to be 9 to 6. 3pm, closed up tighter than a drum and phone isnt answered or an answering machine

I was led to Americo via recommendations from online watch enthusiast forums, when I searched for a reputable watchmaker in the Denver area. Americo was easily the #1 recommendation. I took in a family heirloom, a 1962 Omega Constellation. Americo quickly removed the movement from the case for a full and honest evaluation, and I left it in his care (he loves working on the classics). He amazingly had an original crystal in his stock to replace the ill-fitting one it previously had! Amazing find for a 55-year-old watch! Long story short... he brought it back to life, to its former glory. I couldnt be happier!

Amazing little mom&pop shop! Very friendly owners! I just needed a battery replacement for a Fossil watch... I had called around and gotten quotes upwards of $20! This place was less than half that!! I will definitely be going back to bring other watches needing new batteries.

Very friendly, professional, and reasonable. Took two watches in for repairs to the mechanisms. Americo not only fixed them but gave me a lesson in how the two were different and how to care for them. Just bought a new watch and will be taking it here to get it fitted correctly.

Although they carry all specialty batteries, they will not sell you one without doing the repair themselves. As in you cannot walk in and buy a battery and leave. Ridiculous policy

This is a great little shop and the owners are very knowledgeable. I went in there looking for an estimate to repair my two Seiko Chronograph watches. Several years before I had had one repaired at a chain jewelry store and it had cost a couple hundred dollars. With the same problems, the owner opened them up and could tell right away that the internal batteries had died. He had them both fixed, set the time, and cleaned up within about 10 minutes. Cost me just unter $16 to have them both fixed. He is definitely an expert and knows what he is doing. He and his wife are friendly people and before I left he gave me some tips on caring for them to extend their life and keep them in peak operating condition. This is information that was NOT given to me by the major chain. Ill definitely be bringing all my watch and jewelry needs to them in the future!

I took my watch to another repair service in Denver and never heard from them so I called and he didnt know who I was and then when I went to pick up my watch (expensive watch btw) he couldnt find it and took 10 minutes to even locate it. I had Americo service my ETA powered watch and the watch was keeping great time afterwards (-6 sec/day). On a visit for another watch, he even did a follow up regulation for free on the watch that he serviced. Now the watch is keeping near perfect time! I replaced A battery in an Ebel watch and within a day of having it back the crown was missing. Ive had the watch for 20 years and that never happened so obviously it was not put on properly. When I went to the store he said I mustve caught it on something. I know thats not true.

Unfortunately I do not think americo has the facility to perform repairs on higher end watches. He operates on a bench right in the open with no sort of organization. Most reputable watch makers have clean rooms or at least an uncluttered space.Please reconsider using this place for watches with any value over 500$. Right Time watches and Matthiues watches are right up the highway and similar in price. They also add a warranty on service and pressure test.Americo seems more like a hobbyist that professional. Nice people.One very important note. Americo typically doesnt give a receipt or tag for any watch you drop off. This shop is in a bad area if anything was to happen to have no proof for insurance reasons you dropped your watch off. That is very scary. When asked if insured americo responded it will be fine.....
