I asked my mothers hospice nurse if there was a difference between lower-priced cremation services and the funeral homes who charge almost 2-3x more for cremations. She said she had not heard there was a difference.I was quite pleased with the professionalism of the Lopez Funeral Home staff and the cost. It is never easy to lose your mother but Colin was kind and patient, which made things easier for us. Thank you!

The staff from the funeral home was amazing to work with. They treated my mom with the utmost respect and care. They made a difficult situation even better. You never want to have to deal with a funeral but if you do I highly recommend Tabor-Rice.

The service I received was professional and empathetic. Since we were in a hospice situation, it was especially helpful to be able to complete forms in advance. They arrived on time and handled my husband’s remains efficiently and with respect. The cost was comparatively very reasonable and there was no sales pitch for costly notecards, guestbooks, tracts, or expensive vessels. He was cremated as scheduled; the sealed container was placed in a tasteful black velvet pouch. Further, they followed up to be sure I was satisfied with their services.I told my children to use them for me and have left their card with my final instructions.I highly recommend them.

My son my son died March 20, 2021. He was found unresponsive in Denver Civic Center Park by a park ranger, who started CPR, called an ambulance, my son died at the hospital.The ladies of Rice-Tabor funeral home are compassionate, caring, and loving. My ex daughter-in-law helped me to find Stephanie and Saira. Saira helped walk me through the process of getting my son back to Missouri. From the death certificate to mailing his ashes home to me. Saira listened patiently as I ask the same questions repeatedly. Help me in the process of picking out an urn. She cleaned him up and took one last picture of him for me, beings I havent seen him in a year and a half. Saira explained all that was required and how to get it done. I do not know what I would have done without Saira n her team.I can not say enough nice about Saira, Stephanie and Rice-Tabor funeral home. Compassionate, caring, loving, helpful, kind, and genuine! Kind care given in the time of Covid. Professional through and through but shot through with compassion for me as I arranged for my sister’s final arrangement. They patiently listened to my meltdown and carried on through what I suspect was very trying times provided by the corona virus. I highly recommend.

We got to deal with Lopez funeral and crematorium through another funeral home I called. At a time when we were dealing with a very unexpected death in our family, I have to say we were very pleased and surprised at not only how affordable they were, but how easy Elaine made this process. I would definitely recommend them should you find yourself in the situation of losing a loved one.
