I have been taking my 2007 XTerra to Golden Auto for years. In addition to being very professional and timely on all the maintenance I request, they give honest upfront diagnostics on things I am unsure about. Jon and the whole team have always made me feel appreciated as a client and seem to love my truck as much as I do. Added bonus, the five pack of oil service is the best deal in town. I can’t even do the work myself for cheaper than they can do it for me.

Theyre always the first place I call. Very knowledgeable and always willing to explain more about any issues. Joe even sent me texts containing pictures of diagrams so that I could better understand the issue with my car. I am never disappointed with the service and lower prices at this place.

Last week, I stopped in to get my oil changed and was immediately impressed with the friendliness of the people who work at Golden Auto Clinic. Joe, the manager had a technician named Blake start the oil change right away and Blake quickly determined that on my last oil change at a completely different garage (NOT Golden Auto Clinic), the mechanic doing the oil change had cross threaded the oil plug when he re-installed it. Blake stopped what he was doing and tightened the oil plug plug back in so I could drive my car back to that other garage and they fixed their mistake. Today, I went back to Golden Auto Clinic to get my air filter changed, and once again they were quite busy. John, the owner of Golden Auto Clinic, took the time to change my air filter himself and he did not charge me for it. He completed the job in about 15 minutes and I thanked him and left. I am pleased to say that John and his staff at Golden Auto Clinic have won my loyalty and my business; I highly recommend them for any problem or service on your car. Their expertise is clearly evident to me and I sincerely appreciate their professionalism and attention to the customers needs. They are outstanding in every way.

I asked them to do a coolant flush to see if I has coolant leaks, and an oil change,They told me I needed a new cooling resivoir and that it would cost upwards of 300 bucks. Iafter picking up my car I checked my coolant and it was never flushed (Wich I was charged 70 bucks for) and there were no leaks (I just got air in my coolant. And I also realized that they never did the oil check either. I will NEVER be going to this place ever again and you shouldnt either.

Had Air Bags installed on the our F350. Could not be happier. They work great and cant wait to see how the truck will do pulling the camper next year. Good clean installation by the service tech.

We had a few ups and downs trying to troubleshoot two electrical problems with my F150. We werent able to solve one problem but my heated seat issue was resolved. It was a little bumpy in the beginning with Golden but in the end, Joe and John (owner) were insistent on making it right for me. They loaned me a car, shuttled me around, covered a diagnostic fee with Ford directly and refunded me one of the diagnostic fees (door lock issues) that they werent able to duplicate and figure out. They both went above and beyond to make this right for me in the end. I will be using them again when it comes time to change my spark plugs. Thanks fellas!

Been going to Golden Auto for years for my 1995 Jeep. They always take good care of me and her. They are always friendly and knowledgeable.

Had A/C checked, was blowing cold but not cold enough,They gave me a price for $900 plus, was told I need a new compressor and a bunch of other problems, same day I took it to my local mechanic,he checked it, put dye in the system,( Golden didnt do that) to check for leaks, Golden said I had leaks everywhere.My mechanic didnt find anything wrong , but needed a little freon.Works great , after I showed my mechanic Goldens estimate, they didnt even charge me, because Golden riped me off and should be reported to the BBB.

I trust this shop and appreciate their honesty.

Super helpful from start to finish. I went in for a noise I couldnt figure out, so Joe took me on a test drive and pinpointed it right away. While my car was on the lift they found a potentially dangerous issue with my drive shaft, so he sent me a video to show me and let me decide if we were fixing that right away. John got me back home and when it would be there overnight even lent me a car. They took synchrony car card, so my repairs were 6 financed 6 months same as cash. Overall, super helpful and honest. The manager here is very rude and unprofessional. I went in multiple times and each time he had rude and smart remarks. Your job as a manager is to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and respect, especially if it’s been given to you. I will NOT be bringing my car here again for any further service.

I went here on a Thursday afternoon for an oil change after calling ahead. When I arrived they were able to pull my car in right away. Joe at the front desk was super helpful and got me in the system quickly since it was my first visit. It seriously took maybe 15 minutes and I was all set. The tech, James, was also really nice. The three of us talked about some accessories on my car and I thought the interaction was very genuine and friendly. I will definitely be back for other services!

I was at Golden Auto last week getting some work done on my car (side note: they do way more than oil changes!). I did get an oil change, tire rotation, and some work done on my rotors. (They were kind enough to recommend the work on my rotors the last time I got my oil changed back in January instead of having me continue to wear them down and have to get brand new brakes). Important to note: if we actually do the maintenance suggested by the professionals, it saves us money in the long run! I would highly recommend Golden Auto! They don’t have major signage or marketing, but everyone there is genuine and knowledgeable - which is why I will continue to give them my business. Highly recommend!

They are awesome I needed a oil change badly it was 430pm and they were the closets place to me that got it done same day, they even did a car inspection all done by 5pm, I would highly recommend for car services.

Golden Auto Clinic on Parker Road, is the only place I will be taking my car. They have great prices, and are always up front about the cost with no surprises. Chris and the Golden Auto mechanics have always made time to fit me in, keep me updated about whats going on, and will even bring me into the garage to help me understand whats wrong with my car, and what they are doing to fix it. Came in with a coupon for a $20 oil change, had me in and out in a bout hour, a bit longer than Im used to but they took the time to do a complete inspection and pointed out that both of my license plate lights were out, which two previous mechanics had missed. I appreciate the attention to detail and will be back again!They also checked my engine light code when I stopped by before for free, and explained (embarrassingly) that I had just forgotten to tighten my gas cap.

I had the unfortunate luck of a tire blowing out in my trailer as I left the gas station right by Golden Auto. Because this was the closet place to me at the time, I managed to get the trailer over to Joe. (Who I assume is the owner) He helped me get the tire and rim off the trailer, proceeded to call a tire shop nearby for me to make sure they had exactly what I needed, let me keep the trailer there while I went to pick up the new tire and even helped be put it back on. Kudos to Joe for helping someone in need without expecting anything in return. True class act. I’ll definitely be back whenever my next turn of bad luck comes up with ANY of my vehicles.

Ive been a customer here for 4 years. I go out of my way to take my car to this shop when it needs work done because I know that they are an honest repair shop that will get the job done right. Ive had everything from oil changes to timing belt replacement done here, and Im always happy with the work they do. Good mechanics are hard to come by, so Im glad to have a mechanic that does good work at a fair price.

Brought my car in for an oil change and wanted them to check for a pretty severe oil leak. Came back an hour later it turns out my oil leak was from the oil filter itself. So out the door for 20 bucks. They earned my business by being honest with this repair. I will be bringing all my cars here from now on. Glad I found an honest shop in my new neighborhood.

I took my truck in to get serviced for a number of things that were prompted by a check engine light. My truck is a 2001 dodge dakota and it had an engine tick and the check engine light. The diagnosis was an exhaust manifold cover was broken ($800), replace fuel injectors ($900), gap the spark plugs ($220), and replace the throttle position sensor ($170). I had them perform just the exhaust manifold as this seemed challenging to me. I went home and then performed the rest of the work myself. They straight lied on the spark plugs. Checked 4 of them and they were all had the right gap. The throttle position sensor was $40 and consisted of 5 minutes of my time. The injectors (which they said were all cracked and not working right) looked pretty good to me with the exception of number 1 cylinder, which had junk on the tip of it. These guys are a straight rip off and will never go there again. While I enjoyed Joe and thought he was nice, I am truly disappointed in their ethics.I think you are better off watching Youtube videos and doing the work yourself. Take it for what its worth....

The team is helpful and professional. I appreciate that they give me an idea of what maintenance will be needed three to six months out and what it will cost, so that I can plan and budget for it. I have been taking my cars here for three years because I trust them.

Ive had bad experiences with auto shops lately so it was nice to go to a shop that gave quick service and honesty. At a previous shop I mentioned a noise my car was making and they acted as if I was making it up, Golden Auto found the source of the noise and showed me what the issue looked like.The gentleman at the front counter was kind and helpful.

I got stuck in traffic coming to an appointment. Even though I was 30 min late, they made sure to help me out and fit me in their schedule. I drive about 20 miles out of my way to come to this auto shop. Nice staff, and their work is great! Never had a problem after any of their work was completed!

I had some time, I needed an oil change and Ive been wanting to check them out as theyre in the hood. First, I called and left an unreturned message... figuring they were too busy to respond, I drove over to see if they might be able to fit me in. I walked in, the door bell rang and two employees looked my way and then I stood there, unacknowledged for at least 5 minutes. Had I been acknowledged and asked to wait, I would have been happy to, but the fact they two people knew I was waiting and just ignored me, helped me decide that this is not the shop for me.

I have two vehicles, and Golden Auto works on both of them . i could not be happier with the service . the work is professionally done and although the work is guaranteed i have had no problems. i trust Golden Auto 100 % and will take any future vehicle i own there as well . Really great shop. Not a lot of shops work on a bmw on a 20min notice. When I called, the guy who answered the phone was super friendly I mentioned the problem and he said bring it in we have room. I also added an oil change which brought the total to under 290 he a added a discount as well 👊

Went here for there $20 oil change special. Tbh I don’t think they even changed the oil. I know, sounds crazy...They charged me $32 since it was an Audi for the upcharge ok the filter. I checked my oil a few days later and it was as dirty as it was taking it in. So they either didn’t change the oil or they didn’t change the filter. I bought all the oil and filter my self from autozone and when changing the filter I noticed it was the same old one! So they didn’t change the filter (which I paid for) and who knows if they changed the oil. Along with all this they tried to upcharge me on a bunch of BS and the service fighter told me it wasn’t safe to drive. I’ve been driving this for years and still drive it everyday.. this place is a straight scam.

Ive taken my vehicle in a few times for oil changes and have always had excellent, fast service. More recently my A/C quit blowing cold air and after inspecting and giving me the estimate I asked them to hold off on the repair since we were leaving the next day to visit family out of state and the cost would eat into our vacation fund. Much to my surprise the guys insisted on working with me on the price and even threw in a free oil change. They wanted us to be comfortable on our trip even though I didnt tell them that we were headed to Nevada and driving through a desert to get there! They even gave me a ride back home while I waited for the work to be completed! The work was done within a couple of hours and the A/C works like brand new. As a single mom I know very little about cars and do not have a lot to spend on repairs so I was very grateful for their help, friendliness, and the integrity that the whole staff showed me. I will ALWAYS bring my vehicle to Golden Auto and will highly recommend them to friends and family!

Lots of things wrong with my 2005 Ford truck. Mainly the steering was sticking and would not easily turn. Took truck in for new tires and the mechanic told Joe what the problem was. Joe called me to tell me what was wrong. Had steering fixed and could not be happier with the way the truck steers. Highly recommend Golden Auto Clinic 2

Too expensive

My fiance had issues with her timing belt, we took the car in to golden auto and didnt have the right tools for a nut and damaged a piece that never even needed to be touched. On top of that tried making us pay for their mistakes. .Avoid these crooks if possible.

I had a problem with a flat tire a couple of months ago and just happened to find Golden Auto Clinic as I was in a panic. They were very professional and helpful. Turned out there was a problem with a tire pressure sensor. They had me going in about an hour at a resonable price. Glad I found them.

Patrick better known to me as Slick.(Should have mentioned to Slick when I arrived @ Golden Auto on Parker Road I was born at night but not last night) Mentioned to Slick I had a $15 off coupon for any service; I requested an oil change. Patrick Service Mgr; Slick stated he would also give me a 21 point free inspection on my vehicle.Once finished Slick presented me with a final bill of $18.75 for the oil change. Slick stated oil change was $36; mind you Iv never paid over $23.75 for an oil change at this location; Slick stacked deck-jacked-up oil change total bill just for me.I must be special Upon looking @ final bill & free 21 pt inspection I noticed inspection date was from August, 2013; last time Golden inspected my vehicle.Mr.Slick Patrick did nothing but print my inspection from August, 2013 & stapled it to my final invoice. The inspection noted I needed tires;I purchased new tires 3 wks previously. Also on inspection Slick noted I needed a coolant & brake flush; these items were completed same time I purchased tires.(golden auto never opened the radiator or brake res caps as I watched Technician thru the window)Suffice to say Patrick Slick is amateur of First Degree; obvious Patrick never spent much time in a city; understand he was raised on a farm in Kansas.(take the boy out of Kansas but not Kansas out of the boy) Your busted Slick You may have followed Dorthy out of Kansas but obviously never learned much from Dorthy once you fled the farm.

Had an issue with brakes grinding on the front right on my 01 Kia, knew I needed to replace rotors and pads on the front side (maybe calipers) and I had a lot of trouble getting the caliper bolts off to do the job myself, so I figured Id go in to get a quote for somebody else to do it. What a waste of time. They quoted me $750 to replace the pads/rotors/calipers on just the front side. The markups on the parts alone were ridiculous, $80 per brake pad, $60 per rotor, $130 per caliper on a small 12 year-old sedan? Those parts are 100% to 200% markup, but they were also charging $215 in labor on a 1.5 hour job. Thats almost $150/hour. I walked right out, got a friend whos a mechanic to help me get the bolts off the calipers, (they didnt even pull the calipers, and if they had, they would have found out they were still good, just had a clogged brake line) but also when I was removing the wheel, I found out they cross threaded one of my lug nuts when they were putting the wheel back on the car and I had to break the lug stud to get it off and replace it. Eventually, did the whole job for just under $140, including the lug stud that I had to replace. Thats including all the tools/lubricants I had to buy that would already come readily available in an auto shop. Dont bother going to this place, they unreasonably mark up their parts and labor and try to convince you to do unnecessary work, and/or screw something else up that will end up costing you more money/time. Worst auto shop experience ever.
