My daughter has a 2003 Toyota, and the brakes started grinding so bad she was afraid to drive the vehicle. First vehicle and I don’t drive the vehicle at all so I was unaware of what was wrong. On top of that her sticker is extremely expired because of the check engine light we haven’t been able to update the sticker. Steve (mechanic that I dealt with here) understood that it was a older vehicle and I would not want to put too much money into the vehicle especially at one time. He felt the most important thing let’s get the vehicle drivable and safe to drive. Then Steve broke down options I could take to get through emissions. Very helpful and very knowledgeable group of mechanics. I honestly felt very comfortable dealing with Steve and trusting Steve to make sure my daughter will get where she needs to go safely. Even if a another shop would charge cheaper, because of the care and urgency that Steve displayed, I have no issue bring my vehicles to them or referring anyone I know to them. My daughter not only is a full time college student but also she works and that was her way of getting around. My wife and I both work long hours so we don’t have the luxury to get my daughter daily to school or work. After hearing everything that was wrong with the car she was in tears. Thank you Steve and the Farnsworth Auto Plus crew for putting a smile back on my daughters face.

This crew does a great job. They are always honest and fair. They let me know that some of the front end work I needed to get done on my truck was actually under a recall and can be done for free. I always feel comfortable having them work on my cars and truck, everything from a simple oil change, front end/U joint repair and replacement, and exhaust replacement.

I went into Auto Plus and Tire with a flat. They were extremely friendly and helpful in getting me back on the road. The tire size I needed wasn’t in stock at their shop, so they immediately sent an employee to pick one up at their local warehouse. I’d be happy to give Auto Plus more business in the future.

Angel helped me immensely with getting my brakes, rotors, and tires changed. They evaluated my car and he told me was needed to get done as if it were his own car getting serviced. He discussed my different options to help me decide what I wanted to do. Overall, the best and most honest service I’ve had on my vehicles.

Steve was awesome. He was very accommodating and the only tire shop that had the specific size tire that I needed. He got me in and got me out in a timely manner, and followed up several times to make sure that all was okay. They also had the best prices. Would highly recommend.

Angel was very professional, honest and provided a very detailed list of maintenance to be completed. I appreciate him taking time and recommending priority tasks to be completed. After my car broke down, I was able to bring my car in first thing and got my car back later that day after having extensive work done. When my car was done, Angel was nice enough to pick me up and bring me to the shop to pick up my car since I had my car towed there. They were reasonably priced and I would highly recommend this place.

This was one of the in network mechanics under my vehicle warranty. My check engine came on and I brought it into Farnsworth Auto Plus. They filed the claim to replace my fuel sending unit and had it completed the same day! Steve at the shop was very helpful and professional and I highly recommend their services.

I will preface this with saying that it is rare for me to give a review, this one is well deserved. I was driving and realized I had a pretty major leak in my tire and happened across Farnsworth Auto Plus and Tire. Steve, the owner of this family business, immediately gave me a sense of assurance. He was sincere and extremely accommodating. I also needed a set of winter tires and he gave me a great price that matched the lowest I found online and labor was very reasonable and well done. He checked in multiple times over the course of the week while my vehicle was at the shop. Again, couldn’t have been nicer and really made me feel assured. He’s an honest businessman. When I picked up the car, his manager Angel was also extremely nice, it’s evident that comes from the top. The final thing that blew me away was their offer to store my summer tires which again I thought was very reasonable, and if I stored them they would switch them for no cost once the time comes. This is a place of business that is doing things right, putting the customer first, and I will be a returning customer although it is 30+ miles from where I live. I really like Farnsworth Auto. They provide hep and insight without the expectation that they will get your business. I called them several times asking about tires and other services They tried to help me select the best tires within my budget. I waited three weeks and called them again. I still received great customer service. I then waited two more weeks and called them again when my tires were totally bald and containing another nail in one of them. Angel and Steve understood my urgency, gave me the same great price and service and allowed me to be immediately slotted for new tire installation and oil change service without any problem. Bravo to them!!!!!

Fantastic service. I replaced my front brakes and my wife and 15 month old started out on a 5 hour trip to visit family. Twenty minutes in the front brakes were overheating, and I was stopped at this exit. Luckily Farnsworth Auto Plus was the closest place. They got us in right away, correctly diagnosed a faulty brake light switch under the dash and had us back on the road in under 3 hours. They were honest, caring and made our tough situation so much better. Thank you! I will be returning next time I need work done. I highly recommend them!

Had an oil change before a trip out of stateGot to my destination looked at the oil stick and there was almost nothing there. When back to do another oil change to make sure I wasnt goin crazy and after the oil change I look at the oil stick and had a little less then half. So instead of me getting 5000 per oil change I was getting 3000 miles . Never going back. you cant trust them.And I know its not an engine issue because I use to do my oil changes myself and I never had to do oil changes so often. I also asked around with other mechanics. I almost lost my engine because you guys wanted to save 5 dollars on another oil can.

Steve was super chill, came in thinking I needed a wheel alignment. When Steve just told me it was just unbalanced tires; affordable at under 70 bucks for a tire fix (patch up) and balanced my wheels. Came in and left just as fast

I had a few of my bolts stripped in my tire so I went to a place close to home who said it’s a 500-600 dollar job because of my wheel being connect to my steering wheel on this particular model so I was only able to replace 3 tires so yesterday that tire finally gave up on me I called they were very friendly told me they have a few options to try before they get to the point where they have to even go that deep and to tow my car there and they were able to get the bolts off and put a new tire on all for $130 😳 very happy and satisfied customer totally recommend nice waiting area with refreshments and it’s clean

They were quick and efficient, I’ve been using them for full synthetic oil changes and the larger jobs that I’m not able to do myself. They can be a little more expensive then all the little shops in Aurora but you pay for piece of mind.

I recently moved to the area, and have been trying to find a new place to take my car for its regular maintenance and anything else that might come up in the foreseeable future lol! In trying to find an establishment I have been over charged, have had things done halfway, and not given the full truth as to what was actually going on. This was until I came to Farnsworth auto plus. Steve and his team are great to work with and give you fair pricing for the work done. Steve took me back and showed me all of the issues one by one and helped me to understand why each repair was needed. This made making a pricy repair easier to swallow haha, and it is safe to say that from now on I will trust their recommendations.They’ve gone so far as to let me use a loaner that they have so that I could get around while my car was being worked on. This typically is not something I’ve seen done outside of the dealer, so I was very happy that they thought to include this service. Overall 10/10 service and work, I highly recommend!

I was in a bind when my front tire popped. I called my dealership and they said they didn’t have the tire I needed and it would take days to arrive. My friend suggested I call Farnsworth Auto plus. I told them my issue and asked if they had the tire to match my other three. They said they didn’t but they were willing to drive and pick it up and they would be ready to take my car in just an hour, no appointment needed! The whole process was smooth, and hassle free and I highly recommend them!

Hmmm 🤔 Took my car back 3 times for them to fix the new issue (that just seems to me to be very suspicious) and still wasn’t able to get it resolved. They also bribe customers to write good reviews on Google. I definitely will not be going back.

I’m from Memphis, TN and I just moved up here to Naperville IL. I’m only 22 and My car was having trouble with the steering wheel. My ford 2014 is known for having recalls on that problem. I needed a rack and pinion. I went to two places and they where charging extremely high. Good Year priced me with the total of 2500 without tax and the other place charged 690 to do the job but they never did a rack and pinion. So I wasn’t going to take my chance with that and it doesn’t come with a warranty. I was close to trading my car in that I would be done paying for this year. I’m blessed to scroll across Farnsworth Auto Plus. I talked with Steve and Angel and they were nice and they knew what they where talking about. They helped me sign up for easy pay and etc and even ordered the correct part I needed. . They gave me a lift to work and picked me up from work when the job was done. I’ve finally found a place that I trust to bring my car and not be over charged like other places. I’m young and I know people will take advantage of me because of my age. I’m just thankful. I had a bent rim and ultimately that made the air leak out of my tire. I went to Farnsworth auto plus and they fixed it up in no time for no charge. They were very kind and very quick I am now leak free and happy as can be!

Poor experience all around. Went in for an oil change. They failed to re-attach the skid plate. Found that out when driving down the highway with sparks flying everywhere. Had to take it back in for them to fix it. They had to replace the thing entirely which meant they had to order the part. Car was not derivable for about a week due to their mistake.Not only that but they reported the wrong mileage while doing this service. Now the Carfax report on my car reads a mileage much higher than actual. So, when I go to sell the car the Carfax report will say the car has a mileage inconsistency which lowers the value of the car.Thanks a lot...
