Such great customer service at this place! Very friendly owners that make you feel like a friend is looking at you car. They gave straight honest answers about whats going on with my car, fixed it quickly and gave me estimates for other issues I had. I have found my new go-to place for car repair!

Herb was very upfront about what needed to be taken care of with my car and what issues were not pressing. Did great work and got it done very quickly. Highly recommend.

I am behind in posting this, but cannot speak highly enough. Herbs team is always professional, helpful, and knowledgeable, and the quality of their work is absolutely exceptional. I am neurotic about taking care of my car, and Herbs is the only company I will trust with my car. Amazing customer service! A few times I had to call to change/reschedule my appointments and they were very flexible, friendly, and honest. I couldnt have asked for a better experience! I have brought my cars here several times over the years. My repeat business is proof Im happy with the service here.

Don’t come to this place ! Complete ripoff ! The work they do isn’t worth the price they’re asking ! I brought my truck in February because my exhaust was blowing smoke and it took about 3 + hours to get it in . There was only 2 people in front of me but once I was seen they told me it was a head gasket problem and it would’ve cost 15k to install a whole new engine or get a “used engine” for “cheaper”. I have no idea how this place is still open ?! I went to another mechanic and they fixed the injector problem for 3500 “totally a blown head”. Nice guy but a wolf. Don’t come to this place unless you want to spend $$$ and get little to no results! I hope this review will encourage others to actually find a decent place that’ll do the work properly !

I called to get an estimate for glo plugs/injectors on my F250. Was told I have to bring it in because all trucks are different. Im laughing, Herb is diesel truck repair guy, theres about a 10 thousand F250s same year that came from Ford factory, all made the same. His hours are 9-5, same hours I work. Take time off to go get an estimate, really? Because of a lot of negative reviews and how much this smells wrong...........next.

Herb is a wolf in sheeps clothing. I thought he was really nice and honest at first but I was fooled. Yesterday my 16 year old daughter took her car in to Herbs to see if he could tune it to pass emissions. I got a bill for $157 that said catalytic converter is bad and needs to be replaced. My daughter then went to Emissions to get a waiver since she spent the required $150 but she was told the car could not be tested BECAUSE THERE IS NO CATALYTIC CONVERTER ON THE CAR!!! I called Herb to ask what is going on and he said they sent my daughter to try and get through emissions hoping the emissions folks would not notice there is no catalytic converter. Of course they noticed immediately and refused to test my daughters car. Herb refuses to refund my money or credit my money spent towards installing a catalytic converter. In fact he started yelling at me on the phone and hung up on me. He said its Dads fault for not looking under the car to see it there was a catalytic converter installed. Now I am out $157 and got nothing for it. Not even able to test at Emissions. Herb should have given my daughter an estimate to put on a new catalytic converter instead of playing these fraud games. Herb is a con man. I am pursuing legal action, and looking for another shop to install a catalytic converter.

I have had great experience with Herb , He fixed up my 98 Explorer and got me on the road in now time. He even called me and gave me some suggestions on what I need to have done next time I bring it in (normal maintenance stuff). The price was fair and competitive. I will be sending all of my friends and family there..

Real pros. These guys get 2 the heart of yr problem quickly & get u out fast. Reasonable efficient

The shop is clean and organized and they know what theyre doing. When they care about their shop, it tells me they care about your car. Ive seen other shops where they have bits and pieces of everyones old car parts just laying around on the floor, and Id expect them to forget to put something back on my vehicle. These were observations I was able to make as a parts driver prior to trusting Herbs with my car. Herbs was right on the money with their quote in terms of time and cost and I got my baby back just like I remember it prior to the problem starting. I see a couple bad reviews here, but in particular Id dismiss any review that plugs a different shop. Herbs crew has integrity and skill and those two things are what counts most.

Took my car in to get the Freon charged on my A/C, received a call 20 minutes after dropping it off and I was told in needed to replace the compressor and it was going to cost me $1650 to fix, I said I couldnt afford that and I would be back to get my car. I was then given a bill for $125, which I questioned what his hourly rate was since he only had my car for 20 minutes, and the response was that I was paying for his knowledge since I now knew how much it would cost to fix it. There was also a charge for parts which was confusing as well since he didnt actually do anything to my car. I proceed to take it to anther shop that upon inspection, all I needed was my Freon to be charged, strange huh? This guy was dishonest and ripped me off and will do it anyone else he can.

Very fair price,honest and wont try and sell you the farm while your there.

Most horrible experience ever with Herbs! My husbands car was towed to his shop to maybe get it fixed but instead we had to tow it to a different Auto shop to get fixed. He charged us almost $200 to tell us what we knew!! Never again we will go back or recommend Herbs to anyone!! His a rip off!! Wanted almost $600 for a 97 Acura 2.3 CL starter!! WOW! cmon!! And charge us almost $200 on top of that amount for diagnostic!! PLEASE!! You can rip off some ppl but not ALL!!

This place is a rip-off! $225 for diesel diagnostics??!!?? Most other places charge $50. What makes you guys so special that you decide to charge $225...

Muffler job they wanted $900 to replace the muffler. I went to Auburn Muffler and they charged me $318 out the door!

This company is a complete rip off. I brought my car in there because it didnt pass emissions next door. Being I needed my tabs right away I took it there to get a waiver. They charged me $157 to inspect it. After inspection he said it needed several parts totaling $435. My gut was telling me the guy was not being honest with me. So I got the waiver after spending $150. Then got my tabs. Then I took it to my mechanic who I know and trust in Tumwater, Fosters automotive. He did a free inspection and told me two emission hoses were cracked. He fixed the hoses and I was done for $125. I wish I wouldve checked the reviews before I brought my car there. Probably wouldve if I wasnt in a rush to get my tabs. Runaway dont do business with these guys. They are the worst of the worst.

Have had to turn right back around on several occasions because things were forgotten or new issues after repair: cotter pin not installed, installed wrong oil
