Im a water aerobics instructor, so I like having a polished look at the pool. I got a gel manicure and it didnt chip or peel for 2 weeks. Amazing considering other places (even with gel) come off -- considering Im in/around water frequently. Very impressed with their technique and the value for the product. COVID protocols in place (call for an appointment). Great staff!

Ive been going to Ellens Nails for a little over a year now. The salon is clean and a nice size (I dont like the big salons!). During COVID, they continue to take extreme precaution to make sure everything is clean and safe. The staff is so friendly and kind and they do a great job with their scheduling. They all take their time and make sure your nails look perfect. I always leave there as a satisfied customer. I highly recommend Ellens Nail for a quality, well-run nail salon experience!

Very friendly staff! Was able to make a same-day appointment with ease. Made me feel very comfortable while being serviced. Damaged my nail bed and nails were of terrible quality. The woman also kept suggesting other things when I already told her exactly what I wanted. I even had a picture! Some of the tips were not glued all the way on my nail bed. Nails were also too thick. This was my worst experience at any nail establishment.

The staff is very friendly and they understand how to service their clients. I always enjoy talking with the ladies and know that when you visit the salon they will treat you like royalty.

The nail tech did miss the corners/inside edges on my regular mani which brings the overall review to what it is.My partner also wanted to see more creativity from the owner when it came to the SNS gel mani they received. Pulling out some stencils kind of made us reflect on the artistic delivery of the salon and if to try the even more expensive services or not.Pedicures were really good.

Absolutely my go to nail salon in Atlanta, I travel a lot for work but this salon is definitely one of my favorites. The ladies are extremely nice. They continually ask if you are pleased with the work(which fewer and fewer salons seem to do), offer up great suggestions to get you a lovely look. I stumbled across this place at the last min. Arrived around closing time on a Saturday and they actually looked like they were about leave. However I still was welcomed in and they treated myself and nails with care. I truly enjoyed the environment, nice and clean as well great music. Great prices for mani/pedi. Will be returning!!

I called to make an appointment last minute (I came in 30 mins later), when I arrived I was greeted nicely and seated immediately! This was my first time at Ellen’s and it was great! I had a full set (SNS) done by Tiffany and it came out perfectly & beautifully!!! I would definitely recommend this place if you’re in the Vinings area!! The color selection was somewhat slim, but they were unpacking a bunch of new pretty shades while I was there. Can’t wait to try them out :)

I had high expectations for this place upon entry/greeting and initial sit down but was very disappointed. My natural nails were cut, and I was overcharged. I came in for a simple SNS but ran up a $65 bill for a $20 service.Here are the charges: manicure fee, cut down fee, shape fee, soak fee and nail tip fee.I have never heard of a manicure or nail tip fee when receiving an SNS service. I typically get my nails super long with SNS and all the fancy designs so cost is not an issue (i typically run up a bill ok lol)I was highly upset that I paid $65 for one regular color of SNS, hidden fees and a botched coffin shape. Plus, I was forced to give a tip which is optional.To avoid misappropriation this business should place service fees for customers to see. I will not be back but I hope they change for someone else’s better.

Anne did my nails, and I got an SNS French manicure. My biggest complaint would be that I was cut around my cuticles several times by that drill tool the manicurist uses to smooth nail edges. I kept telling Anne that my cuticles hurt and that she had cut me but she didn’t seem like she cared. I’m not going to say she didn’t understand because you could clearly see where my cuticles were bleeding a little. My concern with getting cut is sanitary reasons. I don’t know how those nail “drill” tips are sanitized between clients or if they are even sanitized. But when you draw blood, that to me is cause for concern especially for blood borne pathogens! For that reason I will not be returning.

Just moved to the area and found this place around the corner from where I live. Being close by is a plus but the service was great! Very friendly staff and Tiffany was very kind to make me feel welcomed to the salon as it was my first time there. I always get great, affordable service here. There is no weird acrylic smell when you walk in, its sanitary, and has a nice atmosphere. They also have a good selection of colors. Wendy is my nail tech, she is precise, friendly & gentle. I highly recommend her and the ladies at this shop.

My mom and I have been going to Ellen’s to have both manis and pedis since fall 2018, and we have always had great experiences! Everyone there is wonderful and friendly, and our nails always end up looking perfect. With so many nail salons out there, it is hard to find a good one, but we have finally found our go-to spot!

I have been searching for a nail shop for almost a year that I like. I was really happy when I left and my nails looked the best they’d looked in a while. Unfortunately less than a week later my gel manicure started chipping and peeling off. I plan on coming back and getting them redone though since they did such a good job the first time.Update: went back in to get my nails fixed and was super pleased with my experience! Wendy was so accommodating and did a fabulous job on my nails! she redid all of my nails free of charge! I will definitely be back and am looking forward to my next appointment:)

I have been coming here for over a year. I’ve had nothing but a pleasant experience, great service, and treated like family until recently. My past 3 experiences (3 months) haven’t been up to par. The lady who did my nails today also did my nails the last time and she rushes through everything. I get SNS and the last couple of times she touched my nails to check to see if they’re dry and when they’re not they get messed up and she just says “oops” and doesn’t fix them. Considering how often I come and that I’m a loyal customer, today I felt exceptionally mistreated. Apparently, they had an appointment made with someone as I was a walk-in an hour and a half before. She rushed through my nails, made me feel uncomfortable, and one of the nail technicians told me “Oh you should understand!” There were 2 other girls getting the same nail treatment as me, so why was I the one getting rushed especially when I came before the other walk-ins?? I felt like I was getting taken granted for and not treated equal to the others because I come so often and am Korean. Whatever happened to putting regular customers at the top of the totem pole? Sad to say, but I probably won’t be back.

Love Wendy and Tiffany and all the staff. They do a great job on my powder nails (not too thick). My roommate likes the pedicures and facials, and I just brought a friend in to have bad tips from another salon fixed. They personalize for each client. They also try to improve the health of my nails. Highly recommended!!

Decor is lovely, music selection nice, the ladies were sweet and professional. Thats why Im giving 2 stars. The nail service was horrible. One week following my full set with gel and a pedicure, I returned to fix two nails with chipped polish. They fixed it quick and free. A couple days later the nails started to break in half. I was able to take off my full set with gel polish without a soak and any pain. They did not even last 2 weeks. Just popped them off like press ons. Highly upset $85 down the drain. Will not be returning.

I have used the services of Wendy since 2010 and followed her from her previous shop to Ellen’s. She is an amazing person and does a super job on both hands and feet. She is proud of the business she works so hard at and her employees do a great job too. We are moving soon into town, but I’ve already made the decision to come back to Wendy and Ellen’s after we move. I bring my husband with me on most of my visits for a pedi. I like to spoil him as does Wendy. So please if you’re looking for professionalism and a great mani and pedi please visit Ellen’s.

Very beautiful shop! However, the quality of service isnt up to par. I went in for a Full Set and SNS. My Full Set didnt even last one week. The majority of my nail tips came off completely and the SNS is lifting up at the base of my nail bed. $45 down the drain. I am very disappointed at how my nails turned out.

Will not go back here because I get SNS and they do not know how to do this application. Powder was disconnecting from my nails after a week and they destroyed my nails by grinding them to hard. Giving them a 3 because the place is small and comfy and they did a decent job on my pedicure. Very disappointed..

Great location, not a great experience. limited SNS colors and she filed down my nails so much they lasted barely 2 weeks and they started to crack. wouldnt honor a coupon I had either. Had a fill in done when they first opened and it fell off a week later. had to go to another salon to get it fixed.

I went there 2.5 weeks ago for SNS during my late lunch break on a Monday after 2:00 pm.  First of all there wasnt that many customers, however it took forever for my service.  I told the tech I needed the previous set soaked off because I had teal SNS but I wanted more subdue natural color like vanilla and I didnt want them thick, I wanted it more natural.  Well apparently it didnt matter what I thought I wanted. The tech tells me that she wasnt going to soak my nails off because it would take a long time and that I could try that next time, that she would buff all the color off. 20 minutes into the buffing blue dust is everywhere, Im thinking soaking off would have been quicker and easier.  I ask the tech whats the difference soaking the nails off on my 3rd time vs the 2nd, she had no point that made sense as she continued to struggle and buff away. This was only my second time getting SNS so i just went based on what my friends had told me should be done at each visit, which is soak the previous set off. The final product an hour later was thick and guess what, you could see the teal on the edges, it didnt look natural at all but the tech told me it wasnt that visible (Lol). Needless to say -I will not be going back, it was over priced, poor service (never offered me anything to drink) and a complete waste of my time... they need to learn to listen to what the customer wants and stop taking shortcuts to save themselves money... the set only lasted 2 weeks and grew out with a hump because she applied like 4 layers of the SNS powder on my nail in an effort to cover up the teal from the previous set.I once again am reminded that I prefer the level of service, quality and price from the salons in Gwinnett county where I live over whats available here in this area.  Never again, not even on my lunch is this convenient.

I live in the DMV, but I ONLY get this done at Ellens because of the wonderful personel! Im always greeted by name, with a hug and a smile! I love these guys! Thank you!

I went in on Saturday June 23rd to get my eye brows done and I will never return, the wax was so hot that it burned my skin, and she saw it and didn’t even say anything she tried to cover it up with aloe Vera gel, I didn’t notice it until I got back home. I don’t recommend them waxing brows. Beware!!

I was turned away an hour before closing due to no appointment on a Wednesday. It was not busy. Very disappointed. I wanted to give them my service due to past experiences without an appointment, but it will no longer happen. If it was a special case and not their normal policy, then there should have been a better approach to sustain business.

I wish I could give less stars. Lady refused to do what I asked for, from shape to medium of nails. She told me my finger was crooked and that’s why she couldn’t shape them properly, and after less than a week one of my nails fell off..... I’m so disappointed
