A tree fell in our backyard late one evening in October 2020 after torrential rain from Hurricane Delta saturated and softened the ground. However, Drew was honest in telling me that Allstate is not always the fastest when it comes to settling claims. However, I have no complaints with regards to Drew. I also love the Drivewise rewards program. Im awarded a check a couple of times per year simply for having the app. I also purchase discounted gift cards through the program.

I have 3 single family homes and 1 vehicle insured with Drews agency! Over the past year they have regularly followed up even when there wasnt an insurance event. When I locked my keys inside my vehicle, a roadside assistance gentleman showed up during rush hour before I could even hang up the phone with the Allstate customer service representative. Now thats service! They are considerably lower on their homeowners insurance rates even on a rental home! They are a bit higher on auto insurance compared to other major insurers; however, I still save quite a bit overall because their homeowners rates are so much less than all the other insurance players!

Allstate is the sketchiest company I have ever used. Specifically, I have had issues with Drew Niess and their adjuster Shannon. After years of paying on time and being a loyal member for two plans, I had one of the worst possible experiences I could have with a company. I have one claim that has been open for over 1 YEAR in my condo. To do this day it is yet to be resolved because my adjuster apparently retired for 6 months and it got lost in the process. Ok fine, not the end of the world. Now I had a leak which got under some of my hardwood and I had to call them for restoration. They brought out contractors who kept their fans and humidifier for around a week and a half when normally this only takes a couple of days. After this duration, they contractor by the name of Tyler tells me he is going to rip up a bunch of my hard wood and he is going to do more because my insurance is going to replace all of it. I agree while thinking that he is a qualified expert sent by Allstate. So now after a week and half of having my place ripped up, Allstate is saying they can only cover up to a certain amount of structural damage (almost half of the total $17,000 quote). I would not have allowed this guy to rip up 40% of my hardwoods had he not told me they would cover anything. What kind of crazy scam is this?
