From the very first start Ms. Desiree has been amazing,understanding, genuine, professional. At the time of my application process they didnt have any 2 bedrooms available but she always assured me of what time framing that they would be available. As of last week I am now a resident. And I am so grateful for her and her team. No matter who I spoke to everyone always had a good professional vibe. You guys are fantastic.

The roach infestation is absolutely disgusting and terrible that it makes my skin crawl and makes it hard for me to even sleep. Other tenants have written reviews and said the same thing so I know for a fact it’s not just me. I absolutely cannot wait to get out of this apartment complex because the place is crawling with roaches EVERYWHERE!!

Where do I start?? MOLD MOLD MOLD MOLD. UNSAFE MAINTENANCE PRACTICES. MANAGEMENT THAT KNOWS AND DOESNT CARE! STAY FAR FAR AWAY!!! These apartments are horrible. I stayed in Phase 2, the new ones. First I had a gas leak. Gas South came to find the leak, turns out that my oven had been improperly installed causing said gas leak. The technician was nice enough to fix it even though he wasnt supposed to. This issue made him also check my hot water heater which had a piece of PVC pipe on it in a place where there should never be one. He immediately shut my hot water heater down and said it was a safety hazard because of the pipe. It could literally have caught fire at anytime. While inspecting the hot water heater, we found 8 slips from the gas company dating back 4 years FOR THE SAME ISSUE. Maintenance just kept re-lighting the pilot and not fixing the safety hazard. My family could have died. After this the air went out and I spent 3 months with no air or hot water while maintenance and property managers did zero. When I found the mold, after months of headaches and sinus inflammation, I contacted the office they did nothing. So I contacted the city, who told me that I would need to hire an inspector at my expense to show the mold infestation before they could intervene!!!! I literally heard the property manager telling maintenance one day to hurry and cover mold in empty units because they needed to rent them asap. They know they have BLACK MOLD and they are covering it up. When I took them to court the judge let me out of my lease, but gave me 10 days to move. So guess what?? Someone elses family is in that unit with an unsafely installed hot water heater (that the property managers have known about for years) and black mold. There is no recourse for their absolute dismissal of human safety. Meanwhile, youre paying to live there. DO NOT RENT HERE IF YOU LOVE YOUR HEALTH AND SAFETY. I lived in apartment 1203

VERY DISAPPOINTED WE TURN OUR CHECK STUBS IN FIRST THEY ASK FOR 2 then we called up there to verify everything okay then THEY SAY WE NEED 4 check stubs OK WHATEVER . WE TURNED THEM IN SAME DAY AND THEN COME TO FIND OUT AFTER TOUR THEY CANCEL OUR APARTMENT BECAUSE THEY SAID THEY NEVER GOT OUT STUBS ? It’s very upsetting the pest problem I’m having after just moving in. It’s making me uncomfortable to even sleep. The property is beautiful, their team and maintenance is great. Guess I will need pest control to come out every week . Long term solution is heavily needed.

Desiree and Lyonel are always very very helpful, knowledgeable and proactive when it comes to handling issues I come to them with. They’re always polite and professional (along with the others I may speak to in passing when I call the office). As far as the neighbors go—I will never EVER live under anyone with a dog again, let alone living underneath anyone—again, and that is all I will say.

Called and was placed on hold now for over 10 minutes just for the person to return to the line and ask who is holding? Wow, sad representation of customer service etiquette. I am actually surprised they even answered the phone because they DONT. Now I am back on hold AGAIN awaiting to speak to someone. I guess they are too busy talking to the roaches.

I recently visited the leasing office and upon entry I felt invited. I explained my current situation to the manager and he seemed extremely willing to work with me for a solution that would be best for us both. I am unsure if I will choose this property to lodge but I can say it’s top of my list. Seriously consider this place to call home.

I applied to this community with the explanation that if denied I would be refunded. When I completed my application, I paid for my application fee and admin fee of $250 bringing the total to $345 with all fees JUST to apply. When I finished the screen stated pending. I called to let them know that I finished my application and they let me know immediately that I was denied. I have NO evictions and MAYBE one collection.I Make more than enough and have been on my job for years. I was given no explanation and when asked about the refund I was told that it will take a month to receive because they hand write the checks. Wow a month when it took them 10 seconds to remove it from my debit card. I tried to call ‘corporate’ but that was a number that went to voicemail. I will be filing a complaint with the BBB and I will try to reverse the charge on my card. I advise anyone NOT to apply here and to find a reputable company that handles refunds better than this. They are basically borrowing your money because it doesn’t take a month to issue a refund that was placed on a debit card. When I told the leasing agent my frustration, I was encouraged to make many complaints and was even told that corporate wouldn’t answer. A shame even their employees know the company isn’t any good.

I filled out an application at this location but when I finished my application it said “thank you for applying to Park at Morelle” I called Park at Palantine to see if they got my application they told me they did not. I called Park at Morelle and they did have my application. They said that I was pre- approved but they would refund me I agreed. I looked up their location and wondered if they could just keep my application and I’ll just move into that location so I called the next day and asked. They told me they couldn’t stop the refund for the admin fee. I asked for a FULL refund since I would have to re apply and then I won’t be spending well over $400 just to apply at the same place. They told me they couldn’t do it. I asked for a manger. They said no one was around. After 20 min of going back and forth they said they’ll transfer me. They transferred me to another women she just repeated what the other girl was saying. I asked if she was in management she said no. At this point they had to be playing. I told them to tell their manager to call me. No one has called and I’ve Blue Magma to get a resolution but no one answered so i left a voice memo. I’ve called Paylease like the girl from Park at Palentine told me to. No one is communicating with me and I’m doing all of this just to REAPPLY to the same management. None of this was even my fault which is the weirdest thing. I simply want my refund for the mess y’all have caused.UPDATE AS OF SEPTEMBER 9th they moved me into Park At Morella and the place is infested with large roaches!!!!! New review will be made under their name soon. Overall Blue Mag is not a good company to get a place through. The picture below belongs to Park at Morella*** not Palatine. They never got me in here.

My Apartment Complex is definitely better than yours, hands down! The staff is so lovely and overly welcoming to say the least. And the Management, staff Lionel and Bishop are the best ever. 2020 was a very trying year for most of us, Im very grateful that this was my place to call home during that time and currently for 3 years now. They were very understanding during my time of need while having lost my job due to Covid 19 pandemic and patient with me, more than willing to help in any way that they could and I greatly appreciate them for that, I mean it!I recently upgraded to a two-bedroom two-bath roommate floor plan with the screened in porch and a fireplace might I add...lol. My transfer was a piece of cake and I got all the amenities I asked for regarding my wants and needs for my new place and I sooooo Love it. I said all that to say this, you better put in your application and get on the waiting list point, blank and period...

PLEASE READ EVERYTHING ‼️‼️‼️I was scheduled to move into The Park at Palestine tomorrow which is February 26,2021. Before paying I ask could I see the unit. Desiree said they wasn’t doing in person walk inspection because of COVID-19. She insisted that I look at the viewing on Facebook of a model unit. I was please with the model. So I paid the money the activity fee of $250 and two application fees of $85 each back in December 2020. I never heard of an “ACTIVITY FEE” which is suppose to SECURE your unit. Totally different from a deposit that I also had to pay when i moved in of $350. The activity fee of $250 is to secure the unit so that I would be able to move in. I put in a 60 day notice at my current residence. I received a call on Tuesday February 23, 2021 from Desireé the lease agent stating that something had came up. Why call two days prior to me moving in when they knew that the occupant wasn’t moving out. But still accepted my payment. Lack of communication. Desiree could of been told me this way before hand so I could at least try to stay were I’m currently at or find another place to live. Keep in mind that’s TWO days before I’m scheduled to move in!!!! She stated the unit that I paid the $250 for was still occupied by the occupant. She asked would March 19 be ok for me? I replied NO. My lease is up Friday which is February 26,2021. Desireé replied ok let me find you a unit. I went to the apartments later on that Tuesday to get a clear understanding of what was was going on. Upon arriving to the apartments I spoke with Desiree. I ask could I look at the unit. She said that the contractors were inside and too come the next day which was Wednesday February 24,2021.I was emailed my offer letter later on that day. Regarding information concerning my unit. The amount that I agree on in December was not the same as the offer letter. Desireé stated it was higher because the unit I supposed to gotten was different from the unit that I would be given. Desireé stated that she would she if some changes could come about for the new amount. They deducted a few dollars from the amount. Desiree stated that they will give me another unit and that I would be able to look at on Wednesday February 24, 2021 @1pm. I arrived Wednesday at 1pm to view the unit that I was supposed to be receiving. Arriving to the unit Desiree stated the cleaning ppl were inside of the unit. While entering inside of the unit there was paint on the floor. The fireplace looked liked it hadn’t been cleaned out. The base boards were filthy. The kitchen cabinets didn’t have shelves. There was residue inside of the cabinets. The caulking around the tub, toilet and sink were filthy. There was trash in the kitchen sink. The light fixture in the kitchen was mildewed and had holes. The light fixture was missing bulbs.The walls had stains and dead roaches on it. I opened the oven which looked new but had roaches inside of it. From what i witness it didn’t look like the unit had been cleaned throughly. I stated to Desiree that I would like a refund. The application fees are non refundable and it will take 30 days to receive my refund for the activity fee.I am disappointed and upset because I did everything correct. Now I am without a place to stay as of tomorrow February 26,2021. This property don’t even deserve a one star. Well at least Desiree APOLOGIZED‼️

Its a great neighborhood. Its pretty quiet, everyone stays to themselves and the staff is amazing, ESECIALLY desiree! She stays on top of things, very responsive and such a sweet heart! Maintenance can be a little better in response to maintenance requests but they DO get the job done once you get them. Its over 100 something units so theyre usually pretty busy. There was a roach issue when I first moved, but as long as you stay on top of things, it will go away. I think for the price its decent for what youre paying.

I have lived in this apartment community for 11 years. I was here when these apartments would make a slum look good to live in. Ive been here thru 5 or 6 different management companies but the one that is here now, running this apartment complex, is by far the best. The previous management companies came in and told me all the ways that they were going to improve the property but they never followed thru. But ever since the current management company took over, they have fully followed thru with everything and more, that they said they would do and have made this apartment complex anybody would want to live in. Bishop, Lyonel, and all of the other office personnel have always been polite, professional, courteous, and respectful. They dont treat me as just a renter, they treat me as a person and a friend. If I have a maintenance issue, I just notify the office and its taken care of in a reasonable amount of time. Now Im not going to sit here and say that everything is perfect, no place ever is. But I will say that every time I talk to Lyonel, after exchanging pleasantries and he asks how I am doing and hows everything going with me, Lyonel will tell me about some new things that they are going to implement to improve the apartment complex and he will also ask if I have any ideas on how to improve the apartment complex. This management company is also concerned with the security of the apartment complex. When I first moved here, 11 years ago, this place was just barely habitable. As of right now, its more than habitable, its a place that many people, families, and myself included, can call HOME.

I been calling the rent office all morning and no answer. My apartment is full of roaches it’s to the point I’m not even comfortable living here anymore. I call every month for pest control to come out every Monday for two months straight and that’s not working it’s to the point that the roaches are in my refrigerator.

I have lived in apartment J1 for two years now and my lease is up. I must say looking back on my experience Lionel deserves recognition for having the best costumer service anyone could ever have. He does his job exceptionally well and is always professional and friendly. Bishop is also very professional. The maintenance staff does an excellent job as well especially the one that lives off site (the one with the braids). He is very professional as well. Overall there have been a couple hiccups but for the most part I can say this has been a pleasant experience for me. Thank you Lionel for all you do for the residents and going above and beyond! I wish you all well!

I dont know whats going on with everyone else but we have been here for almost a week and so far so good for us... its quiet... my 2 bed 2 bath apartment is spacious and clean. The leasing office is professional. My apartment is renovated as well. We were disappointed by not having a fireplace but other than that.. its quiet out here and the maintenance men are on point.. I definitely recommend this complex especially for the price.. 👌🏾

Desiree Aikens helped me with EVERYTHING I needed. She told me about all of my options, the different upgrades that were available, and expedited my moving process. I had to change the move in date TWICE and she still did it with a smile on her face. During the tour she explained every aspect of the apartment and even discussed some decorating tips! Desiree has made a typical moving experience a BREEZE and I recommend her and this hidden jewel of a property!

The upgrades are immaculate when you enter into the apartments its very welcoming. I been here for 2 months wasnt sure at first about living here because of the area. The grounds up front are nice and I know they are still renovating but some of the tenants dont care they leave trash on the grounds taking away the appearance. I feel the outside has to be well maintain just as the inside. I feel management need to reinforce the rules so that what they are doing want be in vein. As for now I am happy in my apartment.

Thank you PARK AT PALATINE]... this was a year ago.... now we see how the Park at Palatine really treat their tenants.. upon renewal of our lease. We wanted to upgrade to a two bedroom. The management gave the ok to move in but failed to inform us of the roach infestation!!!! Ive spoken with other tenants in our building and in other buildings and they also are infested!! Nothing of significance is being done to resolve the issue!! They would even consider moving me and my family into another unit.. this place is a terrible place to move!! If I could give them 0 stars, I would!!!!

Overall, the apt complex and upgrades are really nice. Love the new doors on the outside of the apt. Maintenance needs work they will come and do quick fixes and that is it. They dont repair anything. As for the office staff, they can at times come off very rude but for the most part they will answer your questions and concerns. I find going into the office rather than calling does provide better assistance. The complex does seem very safe I have not seen or heard anything that would cause an alarm. I gave 3 stars because a little customer service training and harder working maintenance would make this complex perfect.

After looking at over 20 apartments in Atlanta, we made one last stop on our way out at The Park at Palatine and worked with Lyonel and he saved the day. He worked with us, providing a lot of feedback and made sure all of our questions and concerns were answered. He was thee MOST helpful and generous person we saw in our whole apartment searching. He stayed in contact with us and helped us get the best deal possible! To be honest, he was the most knowledgeable and I would only seek his help if you stop in and visit!! I believe a different company should take over. They make everything look great and the apartments are nice but that’s it. Corporate, management, the security officer to maintenance should all be replaced. They do not care about the residents or their needs. None of my problems were fixed. The office manager act like he was too busy to resolve my issue. Corporate basically told me to move to resolve the problem. Maintenance dont do anything. Security is pointless. When I went to the office I seen girls at the front desk with different color hair, half dressed, twerking. The gates constantly messing up. So...I did exactly as corporate wanted...moved! No need for a reply!

If could give a negative star I would I moved her October 31,2018 an theApartment above me had a leaky tub.. Maintenance did come by that exact night to try to fix the problem it wasn’t because it started leaking more. They put a humidifier in my apartment for three weeks and yet to assist me on my Georgia power will bill . They automatically put the ceiling back up with wet wood when I asked them not to put the ceiling back up until it dried a week later they came in and put a minor whole inside of the ceiling and it’s still there it has been there for at least a month . no one called or came by to check on the hold they have yet to do a moisture test in this apartment.It took for me to go up there today for them to tell me that it will be fixed this week very bad business.I really would like to move I am planning to put in a 60 day notice before I speak to a lawyer about the issues that I have here in this apartment to not move here it is not a great place to live they do not care about you they only care about money .

Would not recommend. I have a friend that lives here. There are A BUNCH of huge water bugs coming out the concrete and in the building. Even as soon as you open the door to your car. Walls are very thin and there are people breaking in cars

The Park At Palatine has made extreme changes since I’ve moved in 2017 new management is Dope ! I love the new stuff they try they best to get things done in a timely manner they have cleaned up very well . Only problem I have is we need a new exterminator. When people come and go you will find out which neighbors were not clean 🤦🏽‍♀️

Dumbest staff period. Bullied a pregnant woman because she had an opinion about their new pool rules. Staff was not called out their names however both female employees felt the need to not only kick out the pregnant woman but also her special needs son as well. Even convinced the manager who was not even there to side with them. With these people in office this property would never fully be professional. PLEASE DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!!!!!

Nice and affordable place to call home. Quite atmosphere and picture type landscaping. I was questionable of the past reviews however, Im glad, I decided to ignore and see for myself. I would give complete 5 stars if my fellow tenants would stop unloading there trash wherever they choose.

Its quiet, which is good, but WHY do we live in a gated community and the gate doesnt work!! I have seen non-tenants sleep in my building on more than a few occasions. They leave trash making it look as if the actual paying tenants are nasty! The lights in the hallway of the building have been out for 6 months plus. Im not even gonna get started on maintenance.....

Ive actually been here about a month and at first I was sketchy because of the reviews. but honestly I have no idea what the previous reviews are talking about the garbage man comes and gets the trash like they should nobody hangs out at night and the neighbors are pretty nice .It is weird that you cant really use the gate because its not working but thats not really a big deal .Do you have one complaint though. The proficiency and the speed of the maintenance. I understand that maintenance probably get a lot of requests or something but it would be nice to be able to schedule a maintenance request so you can guarantee that they will be there on that particular day.For example I called to have maintenance come look at my AC because I can hear water dripping the woman at the front desk told me they would be here that day its been three days they still have not come. So basically my complaint is get timing better for the maintenance

The worst apartment complex ever. Please dont waste your money and stay here. My a/c is out and it has been out for more than a week and is still out and no one has came to fix my a/c. I have called several times to speak with maintenance and every time I call they have a different excuse. I asked for the manger to call me and no one has call me yet. I will not be renewing my lease. The price is reasonable but the type of customer service and respect you receive is not worth it. Stay away from this apartment complex.

The Park At Palatine is made extreme changes new management is AWESOME ! I love the new stuff they try they best to get things done in a timely manner they have cleaned up very well , wish I could give a 10 star . Also Management and The two leasing agents are really great as well I recommend this property!

I moved here at the same time the new company took over and since then its been rapid change and upgrades. Ive never experienced any of the negative and feel totally safe. Only time there is noise is when the kids are outside playing, which is normal. I honestly have no clue about the things people are talking about when it comes to shooting and things, lbvs. Also, if you are feeling down just call the office and listen to Lionel answer the phone.

I moved in under old management the new management have consistent improvement in landscaping , apartments, and personal . I am totally pleased it has been a wonderful , The staff is very helpful and courteous the woman are beautiful and the men are courteous . James Stewart !

I have been living in these apartment homes since mid April and this has been the worst apartment experience I have ever had. There are so many problems with my apartment, and the only time theyve really come to fix things was about 2 weeks ago. Ive called so many people and sent emails, but overall theyve pretty much done nothing. One of my MANY issues with this complex is that there is mold in my apartment. Its pretty much been here since I have been here and they refuse to remove it. The air conditioning barely works and the coating in the tub comes up a little more each day, clogging the drain and creating build up. I could go on more and more about whats wrong but whats just as bothersome is the staff. They act REALLY nice when you see them and they act like they care and turn around and do nothing. I went to Lisa, the manager of this complex and at first she also made it seem like she was going to help, though she was never really nice. But the last time I called her she acted like she didnt even care about the problems Ive had with this apartment, let alone did she seem to have any intent on fixing them. She didnt say anything about it, she just said at this point well let you out of your lease. Im more than happy to leave as soon as I find something else! But thanks for showing me how much you dont care, and how much you dont plan on fixing anything major. Maybe they treat the people at the bottom of the hill better since they are paying more, but as a business youh should try to provide the best service to everyone and some things should be standard no matter how much you are paying. I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy.

Neighbors are inconsiderate, playing music at 2 or 3 in the morning. Kids be out at 10 and 11 o clock at night, when they should be in the house. Trash around the community. Dogs running loose. Could be better, but it never fails staying in nice communities like this near the airport. But you get use to it and keep it moving until something else better comes along.

Every place has its ups and downs however, I feel as though I have had more downs dealing with apartments as a whole. Lol! Nevertheless, I can not discredit the new management (Blue Magma) team we have now. I have seen a difference in the community as far as how it looks as well as maintenance becoming better with the turn around time. I mostly contact Lynoel or Bishop because they listen and they try to make things happen in a timely fashion. If they are reading this I hope we are fixing on the gate next!

Horrible place to live they have roaches even in there model units. They give horrible customer service and dont respond on a timely manner it is HELL do not live here. They fixed up cheap to look nice that is all maintenance takes their time and so does everyone else that works there. DO NOT LIVE HERE I REPEAT DO NOT LIVE HERE

I moved in in June of this year. The morning I was bringing things into the apartment I was robbed at gunpoint. I shouldve ran for the hills but i liked the apt so much I decided to stay as long as I can switch buildings. Since I moved in things just got worse. Ive put in about 10 work orders and havent gotten any work done. Management and their staff lies about someones coming and no one shows up. DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS COMMUNITY, IT SUCKS

These apartments are infested with rats!!!! No exaggeration the rats are inside the units heavy. This is my second unit because the 1st one had a rat inside now this one has several. Save your money u get what u pay for and this isn’t it!!!!

My apartment is newly renovated, spacious and very beautiful, it’s a very good community not noisey. Lawren was my agent and she was very helpful, nice, and she answered all of my questions with full detail about the apartment complex. I would recommend living here! I would definitely recommend lawren as your future agent if you are thinking about moving in!

I read reviews about bed bugs in these apartments before I moved in but when I asked they said they have a form for me to sign which I signed showing that the apartment was treated for bed bugs ... LIES ... I have been dealing with bed bugs since I moved in and have had to throw away my bed and get a new bed only for more bed bugs to show up all because it was not handled properly the first time by management. Me and my son slept on an air mattress for half the time I have lived here ... I now got rid of my furniture as well ... this has been a horrible experience moving into The Park at Palatine. Management does not care as long as your paying them rent. I have followed through with every procedure and went above and beyond as to totally discard my own belongings my bed my furniture etc just to get rid of these bed bugs and I have even tried treating my own home because management doesnt take anything as priority. This is disappointing and I WOULD NEVER SUGGEST ANYONE MOVE TO THE PARK AT PALATINE ESPECIALLY NOT WITH KIDS!!!! THEY HAVE BED BUGS!!!!!

These apartments are the absolute worst! I know times get hard and you might be desperate but pleaseeee search elsewhere. They are infested with rats even the maintenance staff has complained about the rat problem. My previous unit had a bad leak in the living room and bathroom so we were moved to a new unit with an even worse leak in its living room. Management wants their rent on time but refuses to fix things in a timely manner. Smh!

1) They raised the rent & cut the water supply. It was already low flowing but now its WORSE. So if you have kids running a bath is out.2) I kept putting in work orders & confronting them of problems going unfixed & giving reviews. They sent me a letter for NONLEASE RENEWEL with 2 & a half months to move.3) Now my gate code doesnt work. When calling my code someone else answered. WOW.4) Lots of spiders when its hot. Bugs crawl in from the big space under the door & sliding door.5) They wont fix my AC & its flow.. When its cold outside the heat keeps cutting off & my bedroom stays cold period. When its hot my bedroom stays hot.This place would be OK if they treated their tenants with respect.

Over all the apartment complex is very nice/quiet and they are fixing it up very nice and the neighbors I have are really cool but the only problem I have is that in the 1200 buildings they have a investigation of flies and Nats in my whole building its hard to cook and they still havent did anything to fix it and besides that problem when it rain the whole walk way up to the stairs floods very bad and they still havent fixed that issue either . Besides those problems that needs to be fixed I give the apartments 3stars it will be 5 once they fix the problem

The very brief experience I had with the office staff as well as the Owners Blue Magma was horrible! I gave one star because the gentleman in the office answered the phone as well as I was unable to give 0 stars, lol. Now....how the gentleman answered the phone is a completely different story 😕. I know someone that lives at the property and he had a few concerns. I know how important retention is and after my breif 3sec conversation with the leasing constant I reached out to the owners. I didnt feel as though the leasing consultant had a clue! Horrible customer service and I can guarantee you they care nothing about their residents! Everyone please do your research on the management co before you rent.... as well as the property!!!!! When you go to the apartments website and your directed to a web consultant co that has nothing to do with the actual apartments or management that should tell you something!!! Good luck!
