My husband and I just moved into our house in July and heard through word of mouth to use Estes for our heating/air maintenance. We called them out for maintenance and other issues we were noticing with one of our units. Justin Hancock was incredible! He was so knowledgeable, patient, and personable. He took the time to educate me on how the systems work and why we were experiencing the issues we were. A team came out the very next week to put in a new unit. They were efficient, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves! Props to Brad, Brandon and Jordan.

Normally Estes is our HVAC fixer (and maintainer) but we had a plumbing leak and didnt know the extent of the problem. We got scheduled and our plumber came and took a lot but knew he would need to go into the ceiling to find the leak. We were worried it would be a huge hole but he only did what he needed to solve the issue. Additionally, we did end up rescheduling once as he called to let us know an earlier service call ran long. We appreciated being able to move the appointment to a better time as the leak wasnt huge. Our plumber cleaned up all his trash and made sure we understood next steps, if the leak continued after the fix. Overall, very happy and impressed.

I want to share that last month I had 2 units installed by Estes and the crew of Brad, David, Jordan and Jeremy were amazing and efficient. All my questions were answered. They did an outstanding job. Collin was the initial representative to come out and evaluate the existing systems. He spent 2 1/2 hrs going over all the options I had. I highly recommend Estes

Carlos & Geovani completed the installation of my new heat pump perfectly and removed the old unit. Im very pleased with the service on 8/7/21.Prior to that, JOHN the PLUMBER did a great job replacing TWO of my ancient toilets with brand new low flow ADA units on 6/24/21. This man is GOOD and so professional I no longer fear the plumber!Its been a BANNER YEAR for me and Estes having spent >$10k.

We have been using Estes for years now. They have always sent out well trained technicians who gives us quality work/maintenance/repairs. Palomar was our technician today & he did not fail us in the least. We were well informed prior to him making repairs. He thoroughly explained the prices and even reminded us of the program we were once apart of that saved us money. Giving us the opportunity to rejoin it for added benefits of future maintenance of our A.C. We are very happy with Estes!

They pointed out issues that other companies simply missed. They provided several options on equipment and gave great guidance on the benefits with all the options. I can’t explain how satisfied I am in using Estes. After searching through so many businesses Estes was the best. From the day Mr. Jerry called me, put me on his schedule to come out the next day and look at my business. I’m in awe of the response, the professionalism and the gratitude of care I received from Estes. I was on their schedule a week later to get my system installed. Brandon & Rick were my technicians and when I say I was so pleased. They arrived on time made sure I didn’t have to route my customers out the way I mean they were everything. I can’t even thank them enough in words as their job was beyond my expectations. My business is cool again because of Estes, my customers are just in awe. After buying a store that had no air for years it’s a pleasure coming into the business and having Estes not only satisfy me but satisfy my customers. Im thankful for them. Brad and Jordan were a pleasure to work with. They were Professional, Efficient, and best of all explained everything so that we could understand easily. Before they left, Brad and Jordan made sure we did not have anymore questions and gave some pointers on yearly maintenance that should be done. Their install of our indoor and outdoor units was very clean and left the areas looking neat and attractive. None of this would have been possible without the help and guidance of Leverne Jackson. My AC unit had stopped working, so I called Estes after another company had attempted to fix the unit and was not able to find the solution. Estes made two visits - for the first visit, Estes performed an inspection but was not able to locate the problem. My boyfriend was present and took the time to look up what might be the problem on YouTube. He helped the technician locate the fire damper which was closed. I was charged $79 for that visit. The technician informed me that the system needed to be recharged and nitrogen needed (which was an issue I had brought to his attention from the previous company), and another visit would be necessary. He performed the removal and recharge on the second visit and charged $256. The professionalism and lack of initiative was poor, and I would like my money back.-----UPDATE------Estes followed up with me by phone call. They sent a check of the amount spent. I appreciate their customer service.

He arrived in a timely manner and in this stage of COVID was dressed appropriately showing respect for the clients. The HVAC is running better than ever.

Jordan, Brad and Jermmey were on point. Very professional and knowledgeable. Took time to explain the process. Both A/C units were out of commission due to dead compressor. All day job for one unit took only little over a half day. They have to come back and install main floor A/C due to having to wait for a part to come in.They came back and I got the same crew. Brad took the time look at me dehumidifier and make sure I had it set up right for my basement. 4hour job only took a little over 2 hours. 5 stars for me!!!!!

I had some serious A/C problems. Unit kept blowing fuses and A/C would shut down. Several repair guys came out (different HVAC companies), but could not fix the system. Estes (I have a service agreement with them) finally sent me Erick H. and he did an excellent repair job that no one else could figure out. Its been working for a week now and its been HOT as Hell. Thanks to Erick were enjoying the comfort of our home again. Hes a fine young man, very respectful, with a nice personality and very knowledgeable about his work. Thanks again to Erick. Do not use. They have been out twice and the a/c is still not working. They try to upsale/recommend/scare you into getting more expensive work done. I hope I don’t have to fight them to cancel my service contract. I don’t trust them at all.

Needed 2nd opinion on an old unit and Laverne provided the best customer service reviewing everything needed, what to expect and more when ready to replace. Marcus and Jordan were prompt, professional, attentive and careful, when replacing unit. Didnt waste any time getting things taken care of in a timely fashion. Even though it was a 2nd opinion, and not who I typically have servicing on a regular basis, I switched service companies and highly recommend the Estes team.

I heard about promotion for service plan and called. Estes sent out a service man name Càmeron. I want my Tankless water heater flushed out. He quoted me $675.00 including parts. He told me that the individuals that had installed the unit did not install the flush out valves. I went to plumbing company and purchased the valves for $105.00. When he returned and I advised that I had purchased the valves, he revised his price to $475.00 just to flush the tank. I told him that was very expensive. He would not budge saying corporate was in charge of pricing. He was somewhat rude! I asked him to leave. When I found someone to repair or flush out the unit, I was told to take the flush out valves back bc I didnt need them. The plumber show me inside the unit that I already had the valves. I called to complaint and his supervisor gave me different prices (Marley) and said he just made a mistake.This is the Hapeville office in Georgia. I was surprise that a company with Estes representation would be for underhanded.

Could not be happier! Very quick and professional response from the repair engineer, estimator, and install crew. I requested a major upgrade in system capacity over the prior system and in a week I had a fantastic system installed. Estes also installed additional ducting to maximize the new systems increased capabilities and my house has never felt cooler and dryer - while using less energy! A great feature was the reasonably price annual maintenance plan that covers 100% of any and all repair/replacement costs for ten years (excluding filters of course). My prior HVAC company priced its maintenance plans so high that I was better off buying a new system every five years than signing up for their plan. Estes is the best HVAC company I have dealt with in the last 20+ years in ATL.

I want to thank Sean specifically for his professionalism and how he got the AC blowing cold. AC repair ain’t cheap! I am giving 4 stars because the job got done correctly and they were very professional. But if I would have read the Yelp reviews beforehand, I probably would have shopped around for better pricing. My system is only 3 years old, installed by Estes in 2018 so I figured they should also repair it. When he finished up and told me the price I was shocked so I asked for an invoice to be sent to me and when he left he emailed it to me. I wish I would have sat down with him and had him go over each price and my supposed discount as well. I got an invoice but I will need another invoice sent with everything itemized with original price to feel better about what I paid which was $140 for a leak check, no leak was found but he said there might be a pin hole leak so he added something called AC leak freeze, $370 for a “difficult repair” which when I called was told that was their code for AC leak freeze added to system and $250 for R410. And this was all supposed to be with a 15% discount included in the PMA which cost me $169 and a $5 credit for a filter I was overcharged for. ($55 when it was supposed to be $50) At one point the technician also told me I might want to look into the price of a new outdoor system, which to me was asinine because the system is only 3 years old and there was no basis to get a whole new one. All in all, they were very professional and answered all my questions or directed me to someone who could but perhaps other companies are also professional and have better pricing. I’m still waiting for the right invoice but at the end of the day, my AC is blowing cold again!

We have a disposal issue. Non-working disposal is not critical but apparently, I like to use it 100X a day so I was very happy to get a quick response from your front office. Bravo to your great communication, quick scheduling to help and the updates today regarding the arrival of our tech. Big bravo to Jonathan from Electrical. This is exactly the type of person you want representing your brand: on point, focused on assessing the situation, great personality and when he discovered that our request (check switch for disposal) was not the issue (its actually the disposal) he quickly addressed and scheduled that tech to come. Love great service and this was top notch. We have used you before so I am not surprised by the quality but a great reminder of why we will call you again and will gladly refer you.

Feels so great to be one of the cool kids on the block again in Snellville. Estes just installed a 16 SEER Carrier at my home and did so in record time. Thank you to Justin for providing a great deal (military, healthcare/hero and Carrier discounts) on a high-end unit and coil. Financing through Estes was a breeze and literally took less than 10 secs for approval. The biggest thanks goes to the installer, Christian. He was polite, willing to answer any questions I had and really listened to my concerns. Christian came prepared with a drop-cloth, mask, gloves and booties to put me at ease during this pandemic; he even wore an extra mask at my request. I expected the install to take much of the day, but Christian was able to have the new unit up and running in about three (3) hours!!! He was efficient, knowledgeable and even cleaned up before leaving. The entire process was easy and pretty much touch free...Christian provided much needed paperwork for the equipment. Estes will file the warranty for the unit and coil, so I can sit back and enjoy coolness once again. Thank you, Estes.

I have been an Estes customer for many years and always look forward to seeing my regular technician, Paul who takes great care of my HVAC system. My last seasonal furnace inspection revealed that my aging system needed to be replaced. Justin came out to provide a quote and was helpful, thorough and knowledgeable and guided me on determining the best system for my home and answered multiple questions patiently. My new system was installed quickly by Jordan, Brad & Turrner, who were efficient and respectful. I barely knew they were here and was able to work throughout the day. They even looked out for my dog to make sure he wasn’t escaping as they went in and out of the house! To further emphasize how well they take care of customers, since my downstairs furnace is in a closet and the new unit is a little bigger preventing the door from closing, without me even having to ask, Estes sent Patrick over who skillfully built out the closet frame so that the door could be reattached and could close again while making the finished product look better than it did originally. I’m lucky to have found a company that takes such good care of customers and provides friendly, competent and reliably consistent service.

We had our semi-annual HVAC service and didnt expect much. I change the filters regularly. It turned out that we had some rodents making home in our unit. Darryl Watson was amazing explaining what was going on and what needed to be done. He shared photos of the issues and explained the impact of not getting it corrected. Jordan, Brad and Tyrus came to my home on 11/12/2020 to install a ductless heating and air system in my basement. The team was incredibly professional. They arrived within the time frame that they had indicated. They were extremely friendly and informative. The system that I was having installed was explained to me in-depth. The team answered all of my questions and provided helpful information for me to ensure location of the unit was the most optimal. I was updated along the way as they completed the project. They gave me a very accurate estimate of the time required to complete the job and finished within that time frame. Once the work was completed, they cleaned the area in which they had been working. They gave me a detailed explanation on how to use the remote and made suggestions for maitenance, etc. I was extremely impressed with the effort that all three individuals exerted to ensure I had an excellent experience. We have an annual contract for maintenance with Estes, and I have had phenomenal experience with each team member that I have encountered.

I wish that I can give negative review such as -100 stars. I purchased my house on middle of October 2017 and Estes Services installed new HVAC system at my house on end of October 2017 (Paid $18,888.00). And I moved into my house on early November finally. Since I had service contract and warranty on the system w/ Estes, I had no worry on my HVAC system at all. On August 11th, First summer after I moved into my house, Ive notice water spots and cracks on my ceiling. I went up attic; notice condensate were every where under HVAC ducts still dripping under HVAC handler. Called Estes. They came, saying my attic was causing problems and took off. Had hired 3rd HVAC company. Found that my HVAC was not properly installed and leaking. Estess manager came to my house. He finally admit that they made mistake. they will replace with new Ducts and correct the issues yet Estes would not repair the damage done to my house. They insist that touch paint water stains on ceiling will take care of everything and they will do it with their own people. I had to bring other contractors. Damages were bigger than I ever imagined. 1.Mold were growing in my attic and one of bed room. 2. Many of ceiling light fixtures were not working and water were sitting on from wet insulation. 3. Estes installed broken barker in eclectic panel and left burned maker. Since Estes were not fixing any of the damage they created at my house, I had to use my home owner insurance and my own expanse to get rid of mold. My Thanks giving and X-mas holiday were gone. I am still living with paint peeling ceiling and fighting with home owner insurance to help me to paint the ceiling. I informed Estes the damages; emailed to everyone at Estes including Sam Estes (owner of the company). Estess manager, Glyn Strickland promised that he will replace ducts, vent boots and plenum with new, send his electrician to check all wires, issue one year install warranty from the date they came out to repair (12/26/2018), issue one year service contract. So far nothing has been reserved. do not use this company!!!Estes installed new HVAC system on Late October 2017. I moved into my house on early November 2017. It was winter time and I was mainly using heater. When the city inspection person came to my house, there were no condensate on ducts since condensate was creating with AC only. Inspection person passed inspection without realizing the system was licking. On August 11th 2018, I discovered that the HVAC system was licking and not installed correctly.I just reported and verified about Estes claim (about my home owner insurances statement on this situation) to my home owner insurance company. My home owner insurance had no contact with Estes so far. However, I was told that now Estes will have to answer all these expenses to repair damage at my house and the false statement in legal matter.It has been 7 months since I reported this problem to Estes. Estes is dis-earnest and not being responsible on their mistake. I gave them enough time to fix their mistake but instead of fixing their mistake, they are lying now. What they did to my life and my house is not acceptable at all.This people are so wrong!!!After all this, instead of fixing the damage and repair/correct the HVAC system, they decide to lie on public!Do not believe any comment they made - it is lie!!!State Farm never told Estes that it is not their mistake. I verified this with State Farm! Do not believe their lie!!!

Weve used Estes for what was, to us, a major project (replacing two HVAC units and all of our duct work) and for something minor (fixing another electricians work).The minor project was great; the electrician was quick and professional, and even though he was missing a part, he came back to finish the job within a few days. The price was reasonable and we were very satisfied. Well definitely contact them for electrical work in the future.The HVAC experience was a bit different, but only because it was a whirlwind of a job due to our situation. Estes came out to repair one of our units and we discovered that one was dead and the other wasnt in good shape, so we suddenly needed two new units and a heap of ductwork replaced. Still, Estes was helpful during the process and got everything installed in one day -- so we averted having to make it through an Atlanta summer without air conditioning -- and any other issues that arose were handled professionally by Estes. We plan to continue relying on them in the future.

I ended up using another HVAC installer. Estes customer service never did call me back. I was told their sales person did not work on weekends and would call me on that Monday. As such they missed out on my sale. I had a new Trane system installed and I am quite satisfied. Poor customer service.

I had no trouble booking a service call with Estes & the technician Jason was out to our home in less than 24 hours. Jason was prompt, knowledgeable, friendly, and very professional. He followed all CDC-recommended covid protocols despite the unseasonable heat & having to be in the attic, & addressed our issue quickly and thoroughly. My husband & I are signing up for regular maintenance visits to keep everything running smoothly. I highly recommend Estes!

I’ve been an Estes heating and air customer for more than one year now and their techs are good, but what I discovered recently is disappointing. I had an HVAC failure and the problem was pretty easy to diagnose via YouTube. During the diagnosis I learned that I needed a new capacitor. The word makes the part sound fancy, but you can buy them online or in person for $2-$6 each.After purchasing one I realized that I also needed a new fan motor and again it wasn’t all that expensive of a part to buy on my own. I got the parts on-site but decided to have a Estes tech come install them and the service visit wasn’t a bargain, but I knew that going in. He assessed the situation, determined that I diagnosed the problem accurately but ultimately had the wrong capacitor on hand. He said he had one on his truck and could supply it to fix the problem but that the part would cost $250!The tech opened the company catalogue and quoted the price at almost $250. Again, this was the exact part that I bought for $5 the day before. That was quite an eye opener for me and I found it disappointing.People understand that businesses mark things up but that is exorbitant. I declined the part and will go buy it tomorrow to correct the problem for $6. In the meantime I have another night without heat, but that I can live with. Living with the knowledge that I supported Estes greedy effort to take advantage of its customers would be worse than putting on an extra sweater.

It was great dealing with this company. Everyone was professional and punctual and very informative from beginning to end. R. J. & Travaras installed our new unit in record time and did a great job! I had a small problem with the furnace making a loud buzzing noise after they left, so I called and spoke to R.J., who came back and fixed the problem right away. It was a loose filter grid that needed tightening. Alls well now! Happy customer. Thank you!

I had a new furnace installed over the summer. When I went to turn it on during the first few cold days of winter it would not start. The two men installing it did not secure the furnace wires to my thermostat.Johnathan who came to fix the wiring was great. However, the initial installation quality is very frustrating.

This is for my Millennial home ownersThe guy who came to my home really didn’t do anything. He basically just came to collect a $59 service fee and pass go. He looked around for a quick minute and proceeded to ask me how I was paying the service fee.So I started asking questions. Because you know, I actually needed work done, my drain was still clogged.He then started talking to my mom about MY house, as if I were not the home owner. After reminding him that I was the home owner, he proceeded to tell me that to snake the line would be “steep” and quoted me $785. In so many words he told me I couldn’t afford it. Wow!I asked him to write the quote along with a few other quotes on an invoice so I could feel like I’m getting something in return, you know?!He went to the car to get the card reader but no invoice. He said he would email it, yet never asked for my email address, but asked for my debit card.I feel ripped off, because it was never his intention to provide me service for whatever reason...

Estes was a pleasure to work with! I was referred to a manager and he immediately responded to my text and we were on the phone in minutes. After that conversation, I was on the phone with a sales rep within a few hours and had a consultation/free quote scheduled for the next morning. They were honest and informative and took the fact that I was open about seeking multiple quotes very well. I had techs out the very next day to install my new unit - all wearing masks, gloves, and booties. The whole process took less than 48 hours which was much appreciated! Weve used Estes almost 30 years. We like that they carry quality products and that their staff is well-trained. Carlos and Giovanni did the hard part and got our A/C up and running. Stephen and Jacob did the diagnostics and got our new equipment ordered. Stephen came out Thursday, Jacob Friday and Carlos and Giovanni Monday, so you have to give them credit for fast work and investing in inventory.

I had Estes replace a water heater at my rental unit. They installed a faulty unit. We called 5 months later to say the unit was no longer working. The first guy to come out said there was nothing wrong with the unit. Then it still wasnt working and we had to get someone else out who said there was a faulty part. Ive had to call back 10 times at least to get this issue taken care of and its still not taken care of and theres still no hot water at the apartment. This is completely unacceptable.

I purchased and had installed a new Carrier HVAC system on November 30. It failed to heat when I turned it on a week after installment. I requested help because my wife and I (both over 75 years of age) were cold and because of COVID-19 we did not want to risk having to look for accommodations elsewhere at such a late hour. Thankfully, Estes Services sent Sean Haynes, Service Technician to our rescue. He quickly diagnosed the problem, however, he did not have the needed part, an inducer motor, on his truck. He offered to purchase, with his own funds aspace heater for us to use until he could return with the part. He promised he would do all he could the following day to get the part and install it the next day. Thankfully he was able to do it and provided us heat that day. Sean practiced all COVID protocols while in our home. He was very professional and cordial and I give him a 10+ on a 10-point scale for he is truly an asset for his employer. Thank you Sean. I would like to compliment the team of Mitchell and David of Estes. Both guys were simply GREAT!!!!!!! Both were very personable and professional while repairing the line for my air conditioner. Mitchell was very knowledgeable about the problem I had and David told me about a leak that I had coming through the floor from my washer. David then helped me send a video to my plumber so he could see what the problem was. Mitchell explained, in detail, what my problem was and how they were going to fix it. The technician tried to pressure us into a contract for a service warranty. He even suggested that we needed a new unit (which turned out not to be true after we received a second opinion). It turns out that they wanted to overcharge us (3x going rate). To top it all off, the technician lied about the trip fee!! We ended up using a different company.

What wonderful service from Estes, as always! Paul was incredibly professional when he inspected our furnaces and recommended we replace them due to their age and safety risks. He was very sincere and thorough during his time with the inspection.Leverne was able to come over to our home the very next day and provide us with an estimate. Since we had to replace both units, he was able to provide us with a fair discount. He, too, was very professional and friendly and gave us his own recommendations on which furnaces to purchase for our home.Dakota and the team arrived promptly and replaced both units with ease and care.
