Dr. Dahlberg and Harmony are the best, they helped me through the roughest time of my life. I am so grateful that they sit and listen to you and give you very good and helpful feedback. They helped me with medication that works for me and my specific needs. I feel like they worked with me better than any other practice. Unfortunately I moved across the country but I thank them for everything they have done for me during my time in Colorado.

Ive come to a lot of doctors over the years, but Peter has been BY FAR the MOST INFORMATIVE, ENGAGED LISTENER, AND I TRULY FELT HEARD. I WILL NEVER SWITCH FROM THIS PSYCHIATRIST SIMPLY BECAUSE HE IS STRAIGHT UP GENUINE. He doesnt talk down to you, or tell you that what you have is not existent. He truly is a good man I HIGHLY RESPECT HIM.

I was referred to this practice from Kaiser. The referral company scheduled an appointment for me with Dr. Dahlberg. I researched him, and was happy to have an appointment. I talked to Megan, the office manager, about seeing if there was any cancellations or if I could have an online appointment, as I had plans come up on the day of the appointment in the mountains. I was told that since things were opening up around COVID, first-time patients were now going to be required to have an in-person initial appointment. I decided to proceed since I had waited so long to be seen. I started to get a lot of text reminders for my appointment, but didnt read them closely because I had already spoken to Megan. Apparently, I got shifted to see Harmony (shes fabulous, BTW), and to an online appointment. I showed up in person for my appointment and the office was shut down. I was upset, because I had waited for the appointment for over a month, and was missing plans to be there. I finally realized I was shuffled around, and was able to get online with Harmony to reschedule. It was a waste of a day, and I was not happy. I could have taken that appointment in the mountains. Megan called me back, and proceeded to deny ever telling me my appointment had to be in person. I was told that I was notified through text of all of the details, so I should have been aware. She basically called me a liar about the in person information. She said they all rely on the automated texting system, to take work off their plates. I asked if I could have contact info. for Dr. Dahlberg to tell him my experience, and I was told Id have to send a message through the app. It doesnt allow me to select him as a recipient. Since Harmony was so great, I decided to stay with the practice.Another thing that is really annoying is that they pre-charge you for your visit. I always feel like you should pay after receiving services, but maybe Im old-fashioned.I had finished an appointment with Harmony, and soon after get a call. I had forgot to update my credit card in the portal (I had fraud on my account recently). Megan was already calling to debt-collect $20. I also got an email notification of needing to update a new card. It seemed really pushy, since I had gotten an email and didnt even have a chance to update my information.Lastly, Megan also called me a few days before my initial appointment to tell me that if she didnt have my paperwork within 72 hours shed cancel me. Ive never had a Doctors office be so pushy with paperwork, and threaten to cancel me. I get the point of submitting paperwork early, but never have been treated in this way. Anyway, I am hoping Dr. Dahlberg can see this, since there is no way to give him feedback.

I had a really good experience there. In the past I had bad experience with a psychiatrist & that kept me from seeking help for over 10 years. I was petrified...had a total anxiety attack going into my first appointment because of my past experience. He was very calming & I really felt heard. I walked out of his office with a new sense of hope.

Dr. Dahlberg is one of the best, psychiatrist I have ever worked with. He is very; intelligent, reliable, and takes the time to listen. He was the only health care provider/psych. who could see exactly what was going on with me and get me back on my two feet.

I have moved from out of state for school and immediately began to notice anxiety and lack of motivation. I went to see Mr. Dahlberg and he was able to help me out from the very first visit. Not only was I seen earlier than my scheduled appointment, but this facility offers Tele-health appointments when I am too busy with school/errands. You can even work with the office via texting to help with your needs. Both Mr. Dahlberg and Beverly are easy to work with, always willing to work with adjustments made with appointments and medication. I even recently switched insurance companies and they made this process effortless. Due to the holiday season it is often incredibly difficult to reach your medical provider. Mr. Dahlberg came back early from his break during the holidays to fit me into his schedule on the same day requested. You cannot find a more helpful, kind, and effective provider and staff than Mountain Valley Mental Health. I would recommend them 11/10 times.

Mr. Dahlberg is by far the most professional mental health provider in Colorado. His assessment of the above is a greatly appreciated and foremost a great example to be able to make a difference with the community and the public to be aware of the challenges that we have in our society.

Got contacted over text messages for my information. Then receive a voicemail where part of it (the part where they state their name and where theyre from) was completely jumbled and unhear-able. After refusing to give my information to someone id never met and someone who wouldnt state what office theyre from and stating my fear of a scam she canceled my appointment. For someone who works with people with mental illness maybe you could see how paranoia from a text message asking for my personal information could seem weird. Guess my mental health wasnt serious enough for them. Dont go here unless you want your information carelessly given out. Sorry for having mental illnesses that dont let me trust a text message and half cut off voicemails that state i must give my information by 7pm or no help. As if it wasnt hard enough to reach out for help.

Peter Dahlberg is rude and condescending very little knowledge from this guy when it comes to mental health. I had a side effect to a medication and he claimed it wasnt a side effect to that medication. When I went to my family doctor my family doctor told me it was a side effect. Ignorance at its finest he sat in the office arguing with me that this side effect wasnt related to that medication. Well my actual doctor said it was a side effect and when I told him this he just continued with his condescending attitude. Ill take information from a ACTUAL MEDICAL doctor who went through medical school. Im not gonna take information from so ignorant NPR who doesnt even know the side effects to the medications he is prescribing. Not to mention no professionalism out of this guy whatsoever; he refused to prescribe a different medication because he KNEW I would self adjust my medication again so he told me I was out of luck basically when I need to be on this medication. Bottom line this guy is ignorant and condescending trying to act like a real doctor with a basic NP title, he just wants a paycheck and doesnt care about his patients.
