The reviews posted here do not reflect the experience that I expected after reading them. Before coming, I looked up the reviews and was surprised to find how positive they were. Jiffy Lube has a reputation for being bottle of the barrel, but I was on a time crunch so I took the plunge.All I encountered were staff that seemed disgruntled that I even showed up. They weren’t necessarily mean, but their remarks were short, unprofessional and didn’t include any smiles. They upsold me here and there, but didn’t really say much. What really concerned me was the way the team spoke about my vehicle while I was in the car. I couldn’t make out what they were saying, but I could tell they knew something I didn’t.Anyway, I was in and out pretty quickly. Made my payment and got my service record. That’s when I saw the services they were recommending; they were pretty alarming. I probably wouldn’t have given them the green light to do the recommended services, but it would have been nice of them to give me some insight as to what was going on. It was above them to give a friendly heads up that something could go haywire in my car. I guess they knew I wouldn’t pay them for it.Try somewhere else for an oil change! Lube Center is superior in every way, but again I was on a time crunch.

Happy with the service and the efficiency of the crew. Prices are comparable to other shops. I got an oil change and tire rotation.

Everyone that I interacted with during my visit was professional and nice. There was none of the pushiness to perform additional services that I have encountered at other oil change facilities through the years.

Very quick, friendly, and professionally run business. The gentleman running this location is about as nice as they come and a marine. If you’re going to pay to get your oil changed, you might as well go for a positive experience.

I usually stay away from jiffy lube because they try to upsell you on every possible thing you dont need and they definitely pray upon people who dont know how automobiles work! But in this case I needed a quick oil change before a long trip and did not want to go to the dealer and told them exactly what I wanted and did not want and they came through with a synthetic blend oil change in about 12 minutes and of course I downloaded the $12 coupon that anybody on the planet can download and they accepted it. Well done jiffy lube Arnold maryland!

I went on my 30 min lunch break and made it back having a drive thru lunch so very efficient and good customer service!

I feel there is not enough good in this world, let alone good that is recognized. Having visited the Jiffy Lube on West St. previously and having been anything but impressed, this experience was amazing. But even without the comparison, this visit was positive. It was fast, completely professional, social distancing/masks were observed. Highly recommend.

This is the second time jiffy lube has forgotten or didnt replace my oil plug. Costing me $500 the first time and this time its $650. NEVER AGAIN.

If they had a zero star option for rating I would give it. Horrible service. I go in for a oil change my truck is running perfect. When they get done I go to leave my truck has trouble starting. I ask if they had touched my battery terminals and they denied it. After looking further the truck was only connected on 1 battery so they did touch the batterys. I get that resolved and left. When I leave I TRY and come to a stop but it turns out I have no brakes. My rear brake line is snapped in half. I go back and they say that theres nothing they can do about it and that they didnt do it. Total BS. Very horrible work. Spoke to the manager he was very confrontational. I wouldnt take my sister battery operated toy jeep to this place. Just down right horrible!!!!!!!

Fast & efficient service. Glad I went with my gut on this 1 & had my filters changed, I usually dont because theyve been known to say they need to be changed & they dont or theyll say it and dont do it but I stood there & watched the filters be thrown away & replaced. It was quick to get an oil change done. Will update review after a few times to see if the service is consistent.Update: Apparently the techs decided to lower the tire pressure significantly without telling me they are messing with my tires. It was about 15 psi off when i went to check it, well below the rating of the Tire. Very incompetent at this point, avoid if possible.

I have had two great experiences here! First was my oil change, they were upfront about what I really needed and what could wait. The second time I pulled in with my tire starting to go flat and they were kind enough to change it for me (free of charge). I don’t know if that’s a standard thing but they did it for me when I politely asked for assistance in changing my own tire. Props to this team not letting me wait the long time for my insurance provider to have someone sent out to help me!

Jiffy Lube in Arnold always takes the best care of my family’s automobiles. They are very fast, efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable when it comes to issues with my cars be it just a routine oil change, leaks, tires and anything else that needs maintenance. All the staff that I have worked with always make me feel welcome and comfortable while waiting for my vehicle. I highly recommend Jiffy Lube Arnold for your automobile needs because they take such great care of everything.

Sukarno Jones did a great job servicing our BMW and Mercedes cars today. He was extremely polite and very professional.The wait times and costs for the oil changes and a/c freon evacuation/recharging was very reasonable, especially when compared to the local dealer costs.This location has been my favorite and they even serviced my Porsche in the past.Thank you, Sukarno!

So I have only come to this Jiffy Lube for standard maintenance, nothing too fancy. I LOVE the fact that they vacuumed my interior with my oil change. I hate vacuuming my car because my home vacuum just doesnt get everything up but my interior was spotless. The oil change went well, they went over everything with me and didnt try to pressure me into any other services. I also showed up a month or two later needing air in my tires and they were very accommodating and did all my tires. They have always been polite and a friendly face when I go. Will continue to go here until our next duty station.

They are quick and efficient. Just pricy. However, if there any specifics like the tire pressure you like your tires set at, or other things like that make sure you let them know.

Talk about friendly service! I was greeted with a handshake and an introduction by Victor, who walked me through the whole process and escorted me inside while I waited. When there was an issue with one of my tires, Kirby took the time to show me the issue and answer my questions, and again, he escorted me through the shop so I didnt trip over anything. I’ve been going to this jiffy lube for years since I live 5 mins away. This time I was disappointed. I will say the staff was friendly and moved quickly which I appreciated. But when I went to get back in my car I noticed they got black grease stains all over my door which were easily visible because I have tan leather. I noticed it right away and asked someone to wipe it off. He wiped it with a dirty rag so I just said forget it and drove away mad. Then as I’m driving I realize my whole steering wheel is covered in this black grease and it got all over my hands. I pay a lot of money to get my car professionally cleaned every month and they need to use more caution and work cleaner!!! I will second guess going back because I know If I do I’ll have to clean my car when I leave. Getting my oil changed here cost me the oil change PLUS $40 at mister car wash for a detail. Not happy!

They over tightened and sheered off a lugnut when rotating the tires.. They sent me up the street to a mechanic to fix it that they had a relationship with. When I got there they ignored me then told me it would take a day. Decided to take it to the Subaru dealership. They do it so frequently Subaru has an account with them. Not hard to use a torque wrench. They lost my business.

I dont write reviews but this particular jiffy lubes service and kindness is worth acknowledging. My car literally broke down as I pulled in to get my oil changed and they investigated and took the time to explain what was going on (my transmission fluid had been leaking out throughout the day before I got there) They not only let me park the car there overnight, but were helpful and answered all my clueless questions while i waited for an Uber lol,. The next day while I was there waiting for a tow truck they came out to check on me and see what had happened. They also waived the fee for the oil change they had already started, since my car was not in any kind of drivable condition. I will be using this Jiffy Lube and recommending them to everyone I know. Im really grateful for their help.

Since I trust Jiffy Lube shops at otherLocations I sent my grand son to Arnold Jiffy Lube for a simple oil change. He called me a few hours later to tell me they are charging him over $180. It turned out that they suggested other works to be done knowing he is only 18 and knows nothing about car maintenances. This is nothing but taking an advantage of people.....BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE for a well known shop like Jiffy Lube. No more business from me and all my friends and their families at your shop.

This is by far the worst jiffy lube location Ive been to. Id rather go back to west Baltimore than this location again. Ive been here 3x and my wife twice. My first time I waited an hour for just the oil change. I then waited another half hour while my car sat outside the garage before being checked out. I had to interrupt one of the employees in the garage to ask if I could pay and leave (he was standing there talking to another employee looking about as useless as a third nipple).My wifes car has a drain plug cover that was broken when she received the car back (part of the engine shield under the vehicle). We went back to the location to speak with them about it and we were told they would order the part and call us when it came in. Not surprising, we never received this call.I was at this location this morning for an oil change (the last time I ever step foot in this establishment). I was there before they opened (second person in line) and again I waited almost an hour for the service. When got back in my vehicle I found an oily hand print on my passenger seat and dirt/crumbs on the seat that were not there before.Advice for this location: Stop wasting time with the attemp at chivalry and take that time getting vehicles out in a timely manner.

Came in for the first time to get oil change here on the referral of boyfriend. They performed services as expected and provided a list of minor things to change to include topping off my coolant for additional 3 dollars. As an oil change service center I would think you would reset the service indicator, but did not. Up sale of about 45 dollars. Cost me as much if not more than my usual trip to my dealer. Will not return

Great Experience! Sukorro and Victor were very accommodating and helpful when I had to bring in my “new” old truck in for an oil change WITH my two large dogs.Suk. especially went out of his way to help fit in the oil change, under not very ideal conditions, and all in a timely manner without holding anyone else up behind me.Not the first good experience here nor the last.

Again, fell for their bait and switch. And why do I pay 10 bucks a quart for oil?

Jiffy lube usually does a pretty good job,however,the Arnold ,Md store leaves a lot to be desired. Every time Ive been to this particular store,there has been an excuse as to why they cant perform my service. Dont have the right oil or filter,the computer is down,but there are other customers being serviced,the lift has a car on it and the other lifts dont work on your car....etc. Then I watch as the tech leans all over my white car with a protective cover and leave grease prints everywhere,and then has a work out ,bench pressing my tire and rim several times before doing what hes supposed to do. Jiffy gym? I dont think so. I have complained several times, and nothing has been done to improve the situation or to try and appease me. Jiffy lube is ok,but avoid the Arnold store if you want things done cerrectly and timely.

About what I expected from an oil change place. As always offering all kinds of other things and services. Keep your head up, realize it is a chain that has the procedures in place to get you in the door then offer, offer, offer and youll be ok.

I find the staff friendly and polite. However, my oil pan plug was recently stripped. I e-mailed Kirby Carmichael over a month ago and have not heard a response yet. It needs to be resolved.

Good service at reasonable cost

Oil changed on 12/23/18, and they didnt put the glovebox back together correctly (when they completed their obligatory cabin filter check) and it now just drops open when opening instead of it opening smoothly like it did before service. I found that they broke the node to attach the damper arm to, and left the cabin filter cover off and left it in the cavity behind the glovebox. I probably wouldnt return for another service because of that since it speaks to overall quality of service philosophy. Price is also very high for synthetic, and was not clear on alternatives to full synthetic.

Dont know how recently some of the others have been, but other than being overpriced, I have found them quick, convenient and very courteous. They will indeed try to sell you certain overpriced things like cabin air filters for $40 that I get for $10. Id prefer to change my own oil as I do in my older Jeep, but my Lexus is a pain so I go here and am typically in-and-out in 30 minutes or less. They also usually have coupons for their Signature Service conventional oil change that brings the price down to moderate (or better than the dealer!).

The manager was very professional, several of the employees were not. After watching two mock the fact that I had leaves under my hood, I politely asked if they would mind removing them since, the hood was open. He kindly cleaned them out. However, another employee asked what he was doing, then said, Nah, get the f@#$ out of here! Do not come here for good customer service. I am appalled, and offended. The store manager pulled me aside, and informed me that the employee was new, and would be spoken with.

I would rather go to the Pasadena one for an oil change. It sounded like they were banging up my car and I never had to wait so long before being called in. My fears were right when my car started to smell like gas. These jerks knocked my hoses loose and I had to take my car to Annapolis Subaru before my Thanksgiving flight. Another 70 bucks I might add. They seem nice and charming but I wouldnt trust these jerks with what goes on under your hood ever again. I could have been killed.

Fast and thorough.

New management is terrible and unqualified. The old staff would get you in and out in 25-35 min even if the were busy. The new staff is slow, unorganized and deceitful. I check my oil and fluids weekly , I know where the levels are and need to be. These guys lie want to charge more money , and make you wait. Today was my second visit , I told the greeter just an oil change, nothing else. There was one car in the bay and it took them 40 min to get my car in, then I watched as he , checked everything I told him not to do. The manager lied to me after 45 min , my collect was low, oil quart short, tire pressure, what a crock. I called him a lier, and his response was we will have you out in 10 min. It took 17 min. Stay away, go to the dealer and get OEM if you want to waste an hour plus of your life.

In the past, I have not had any major problems (my wife did have an incredibly long wait the first time we went in) hence two stars instead of one. I went in on Thursday morning, and after 15 minutes of evaluating the car and a half hour or so of waiting, the service staff informed me that they did not have the right air filter. They were supposed to have ordered one and had it ready for the next day. I returned this morning (Friday), and they immediately looked under the hood and told me that the part was not delivered.I am irritated with this service on two counts. The first is that it took the service staff so long on Thursday to tell me they would not be able to complete the service. That is 45 minutes trying to entertain a two-year old in the waiting area. The second is that after assuring me that the filter would be here this morning, I was immediately turned away with the explanation that nothing was delivered and no one I spoke with seemed to know about the order at all. I have two kids to manage and only one vehicle available during the day. I do not have the time to wait around or make extra trips to find out that the work cannot be done.

They were friendly and quick, they also were very polite to my 10 yr old who was with me.

The people here do good work and they try to get you the best price they can. Everyone is friendly and professional and they get the job done quick!

Brought my car in yesterday and asked for an oil change and for them to check the battery, because I knew it was getting old. They told me it was in perfect shape, so at the end I asked them to recheck it, and it was almost dead. So they gave me analysis results when they didnt even do it. Im especially disappointed because I asked them specifically to check it, and they didnt even bother. Plus, they charged me $45.00 for an oil change that took an hour.

Noticed my truck dripping A LOT of oil on my freshly paved driveway 4 days after making the mistake of coming here. They stripped the plug then tried to JB weld it closed??? Let me leave without telling me of course. Also found out they put the wrong oil in on my previous visit. Let’s be honest, your gut says you shouldn’t go. And this is why. Now I get to go back in tomorrow and have their extremely under qualified staff try and pull the freespinning bolt, can’t wait.Avoid this place like the plague.

Damaged the latch to my hood. My dad worked on it the day before and said nothing was wrong, he just now checked after my service and said the entire thing was broken. Nice guys, just not so careful.

During a tire rotation they damaged the undercarriage to my car, and upon calling back, I was told to hold on then was immediately hung up on. Three calls back, same thing. I could HEAR the phone being put back in the cradle, so it was definitely not an accident.Third issue with Jiffy Lube, none of which have been handled whatsoever, I guess I should have learned my lesson after 1 or 2...

It was actually quicker than usual at this Jiffy Lube, but at $89 a very pricey oil change, and you always feel pressured with all the things they say you need to change. Yeah right, I didnt need my window wipers replaced which they recommended, didnt get my cabin filter replaced, etc. Always recommending, will look for a new place next time my oil needs to be changed. As to not put more commissions in anyones pocket for trying us to to things that we dont need to do

I went to Juffy Lube in Arnold recently to get topped off and was treated very well. My RAV4 is an oil guzzler between oil changes. Staff went above and beyond to fill up my oil and scrub the corrosion off of my battery.

I visited this Jiffy lube for the first time today and had a pleasant experience. The staff was very friendly and the wait time was minimal, even with a full garage. Of course there was attempts to up-sell me on everything, but it was not intrusive or deceptive. I like the windows inside the customer waiting area so you can watch your vehicle being worked on. Its comforting knowing that the air filter they are showing you is the actual one they just pulled from your car! The customer service rep (His name started with an E, Im sorry I cannot remember it!) was very helpful and even went above the norm to check my car on areas I wasnt certain my dealer actually serviced. I really liked how they vacuumed my car and washed my windows! The only reason I did not give this 5 stars was because I felt like the customer service lounge was dirty and needed a good cleaning!

I will NEVER return to this shop again. I waited an hour and a half with 3 kids for a simple oil change. They moved my car twice to let other people ahead of me and I am beyond angry. The man who checked us out, did not care for the inconvience nor did he even apologize. They also denied a coupon to be used since it wasnt valid although on the coupon itself there wasnt any reason printed that they couldnt use it. Poor customer service all around and I cant say it was the first time.

Rip Off. Asked for fuel filter change and air intake service. They skipped the fuel filter and still wanted to charge for it WITH an argument. Techs removed my new cabin air filter, crushed it while re-inserting and left the cover off the cabin air filter compartment. Second time this occurred. First time they lost the cabin air filter cover and manager refused to re reimburse me. If you want bad service with an argument, this is your place.
