My car A/C was not working. It worked the previous days with no problem, so I figured it was freon and I went to a quick oil change place and they put in freon. A couple of hours later, no cold air again after I went to the oil place. I took the car to Meinike after the quick oil place filled my A/C 3 times. They worked on my car on a day they were usually closed, took out the A/C and fixed the A/C leak, put in freon and put the Unit back where it belonge its been great and cool ever since. It took them 3 days to do all of that work and only charged a fair price. Good job, folks!

I took my car in to have them listen for a loud cranking sound on startup and a loud air suction type sound while accelerating. They claimed they did diagnostics and found nothing and drove it and didnt heart anything. I picked it up and while driving home heard it almost the entire way. Took it to another shop and they said the oil was almost empty. Interesting that Meineke didnt think to check the oil? I even put change oil on the overnight envelope. Oh well. It hasnt been the same since the crew changed a few months ago.

Manager Dave opened the closed store on a Saturday to let me in and make an appointment for brake work and alignment. After dropping the car off, they called and said only the rear brakes needed replacing. The original brakes have 76k miles on them so they could easily have recommended replacing them. They said they had plenty of pad left and the rotors were fine so that impressed me. Price was fair and top grade pads were half price. Great service so i will return.

I set an appointment a week earlier for 8 AM today and expected that my car would be serviced at that time but to be told it would be worked on later in the day. Whats the point of setting that early of a time, that far out, and that your car cant be seen then. Apparently this location likes to double book appointments and is an inconvenience to customers. When attempting to reschedule, they couldnt see my car for another two weeks. Good luck at this location.

I took my vehicle in for a Wheel Alignment(my car was pulling to the left) & to have the Tire Pressure Monitoring sensor replaced on one of my tires. I was told that it would be a specific price in the store & one the phone when the office manager called me. When I came to pick up my vehicle, I was changed more than double what I was told and when I mentioned that the manager had absolutely nothing to say. When I ended up leaving, my vehicle still showed that the tire pressure sensor wasn’t working so I walked back in and the manager had an attitude that I came back in to complain. I was told that I would have to take it to the dealership to have the computer looked at. It definitely was not a computer issue, I took it to a friend of mine that is a mechanic and he said that being a store that does tires, they should have known that you actually have to use a computer like device to program the tire sensors. The car also still pulls left. I will never being using Meineke Car Care again. Very bad way to run a business.

Dropped car in shop towed to shop and after 3 weeks car got never touch, Manager told me to stop calling him and stop him from working. I asked him to gave me a time frame when he will work on my car his answer was when I stop calling him every 2 hours. He never pulled car in shop it was outside all the time 3 weeks I was driving home by that shop and car was never moved from spot I left car on.I will NEVER COME BACK HERE AGAIN, and whom ever I know I will pass thos on.

The old, reliable staff are gone and the new staff took 8 days to get my car fixed up, when they gave me an estimate on day two. They used up 1/4 tank of my gas, supposedly test driving my vehicle, but thats awfully excessive. Im due for an oil change now too but they never mentioned that, when the old staff would have. Also I took my car home and its still having part of its issue, but I already returned the rental car I had to pay for since they kept mine for so long, so I guess Ill go somewhere else to get the job finished. This location used to be so reliable, but now its just disappointing.

I was called by George Bausworth @ Meineke He told me that they had done a test on my SUV.The test cost me $39.95. To let me know that the radiator had a crack in it. That was going to cost me $992.00 there was a couple other things wrong. Change the coolant, Flush & clamps. George told me on the phone that could remove the $39.95 . So it would cost me $950.00…We show up at Meineke to get my car.. It took them all of 20 minutes to find my keys. We asked for a print out of the test they did???They couldn’t come up with that either. Still cost me $39.95.. So we take my car to the dealer. To find out that it is the Air compressor that is leaking. People beware!!! This Meineke is located in Arnold MO.

I have been taking my SUV to Meineke for years. They have proven trustworthy time and again by the respect and honesty they exhibit. I never have to worry about being swindled. I highly recommend relying on them to care for your vehicle and for your wallet.

I’ve never gotten in and out of a place so fast before for an oil change! They got my car right in at the appointment time, and I was there less than an hour! They were busy, but had plenty of staff to accommodate, and couldn’t beat the price!! Definitely will be going back for future car upkeep/repairs!

I love this place!!! You have a customer for life! They did exactly as I asked and they were fast and professional. They didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need like other places. My son loves them too.

Wanted to charge $70 for a $20 oil change, and even with an appointment let my wifes car sit there for 3 and a half hours, didnt even work on it. We got her keys back and went to Valvoline. They were half the price and were done in 15 minutes

I have come to rely on my Meineke for all of my vehicles maintenance and repair needs. They are always honest, straightforward, economical, and dedicated to keeping safe me on the road in a reliable vehicle. They are above and beyond in their quality of service and willing to answer questions or concerns with knowledgeable answers. He ranks a 10 out of 10 in my book.

I’ve been here several times throughout the years and every time I have been pleasantly surprised with the knowledge, workmanship and price they provide. They have not once ever tried to over charge me by doing unnecessary work. In fact they do everything they can to provide you with quality work for a reasonable price. Most honest people In auto repair I’ve hired to service our vehicles.

New ownership will eventually get up to speed. They have Good service attitude toward customers.

Had appt at 11:30. They were running behind and took the 12pm appt before mine. When asked which car was mine, I asked if we were next since they took a later appt first and the lady at the desk asked why didn’t I say something sooner. So apparently it was my fault. Where is Donny? We used to trust Meineke completely, but now…. Never going back. Never blame the customer for YOUR mistake!!!!

I have been using Meineke for years. They will never try to sell you a service you dont need and will always show you your used parts and inform you to the problem you have or may have in the future. The staff is always very courteous, professional and knowledgeable.

10 years ive been going here donnie always took care of my cars i called today and the new rude lady would not let me drop off and didnt want my bussness odd way for new management to treat exsisting costomers. My numbers on file if things change or if donnie comes back i have probaly spent well over 10grand at this location over the years. Her deminer and attitude towards me was just not acceptable.

These guys are the best! They never try to pull a fast one or make things seem broken to make more money. Definitely make sure you are taken care of.

They do not do unnecessary repairs and offer honest assessments on your vehicles. We are so thankful for them! Hard to find trustworthy service in today’s world.

They were pretty dang wonderful. They were able to get me in on a Saturday afternoon, and even stayed late to get it done for me. I will take my cars back to them anytime.

Update: unfortunately my second experience with this location was not as good as the first. Evidently they are under new management. I called a week in advance to make an appointment for an oil change and a tire rotation. I dropped my vehicle off at 9am and the staff was polite. They asked if I was planning to wait or drop off and I asked for a time estimate. The office manager said at least an hour so I said I’d drop it off and have someone come pick me up. The manager did offer to give me a ride home which was very kind. I went home to wait and around 1pm I decided to call the shop for a time estimate as it had been 4 hours. The office manager told me the technician was working on my car and that it would be about 30 minutes and that they closed at 2. I understand that Saturdays are busy but I’m not sure what the purpose of booking an appointment a week in advance is when they plan to keep your vehicle until nearly closing time. Had the staff mentioned on drop off that the service would take over 4 hours I would have planned for that and had no issue with the wait. However, I spent my entire morning waiting on a call as I’ve never had an oil change and tire rotation take more than an hour or two elsewhere, even as a walk in or same day appointment. When I arrived to pick up my car the technician was finishing up. Perhaps he was in a hurry and knew I was waiting for the vehicle, but he left oily handprints on the door and steering wheel which strikes me as unprofessional. The cost for the service was reasonable but overall not worth it. I am sorry to see that, despite their friendliness, the new management is apparently not as good as the previous staff.Original review:I had a great experience with this location. I called on a Saturday morning inquiring about emissions inspections and Jeff got me right in. I had gone to the DMV to transfer and renew my plates after buying a new vehicle only to find out that the emissions waiver the dealership gave me could not be accepted. Jeff and the team were quick and professional. I was in and out in 30 minutes, including checkout, on a busy Saturday. I am very impressed and will keep this location in mind in the future.

We have an old Jeep Grand Cherokee that ended up with a bunch of oil all over the back part of the engine and firewall. We were afraid that it was something bad like a cracked engine or a blown head gasket. The vehicle is too old to invest too much more money into it so we were thinking it was done for. After Meineke looked it over they found out it was the “oil sending switch” which was less than $200 to repair that and change the oil (since it leaked out). The Jeep gets to live for a while longer thanks to their help.

The owner or manager was awesome and honest will definitely be a return customer!!

This is where you want to take your car.Ive had to take my car in several times over the years, and Im always impressed. Its apparent that they want to be known for excellent customer service. Friendly, clean, no unnecessary upcharges or services. Donnie is always working hard and is straight forward and honest.

I needed to get my van inspected and they were accommodating with finding a day that worked with me, and they completed the inspection in a timely manner. We also use them for our repairs and they work quickly and promptly to repair our vehicles without overcharging.

They got me in and out with an emissions and state inspection faster than I could go through my work emails for that morning.

They do a good job at diagnostics and don’t try to sell you more services than you need. Recently had a new alternator put in, tires rotated and an oil change.

I made an appointment for an oil change about 5 days out. I left my car with them and 3 hours later I called back to find out they hadnt even started on it. Not even a call.

They accurately diagnosed the ac compressor as the issue immediately. He provided me with a printed estimate for that, as well as installing a windshield washer pump and tubing, which I provided. They came highly recommended as being truthful, fair and reasonably priced. Incidentally, a technician, who had been working out in the service area, came in with someones keys, and asked....just by hearing my car running out front....ac compressor? The car was making an obnoxious clunking noise, under the hood. They fixed it. I have ac. I have heat. I have defrosters. On ALL settings and speeds. AND it is QUIET!!! ALSO!! I have windshield wiper washers, again!! I feel they treated me VERY FAIR. Im happy with the work they did and Im happy with the price. I think I have found my new go to guys!!! THANKS GUYS!! This is an edited review as of August 2021.My original review was 5 stars. That was due to the way we were treated as a regular customer. I have 7 cars and take them all to Meineke for service. The previous manager, Donnie, was great to work with and we are sad to see he is no longer there! He was honest about repairs and trustworthy!We have taken our car in since his departure and found the new management much less organized, friendly, and helpful. A simple oil change befuddled the staff. They couldnt find our vehicle in their system, didnt know what oil to put in, and the oil change took twice as long as committed. No knock to the technicians, thats a reflection of a change in leadership. Dont get me wrong, that doesnt make Meineke a bad service shop, but I never went to Meineke because of the brand name, I went there because of the people that worked there. People buy from people, not from companies. I wish Donnie would come back.

Ive been going here for many years. Donnie and his crew do a fantastic job. They will NEVER try to up sell you anything. I spent a few years going to places that when you went in for a basic oil change they tried to sell you air filters, windshield wipers, PVC valves, transmission flushes, etc... Not here. Ive had a hundred basic oil changes here and its always around 23 bucks with no surprise charges. Also, I know when I need some other work done to my cars Im gonna get an honest quote and a fair price. My only gripe is they need a bigger parking lot... lol .. Its usually full when I get there. Probably because of all the repeat happy customers.

Needed an emissions test done for plate renewal and they were able to squeeze me in same day. Took care of me and was quick.

My family has been taking our vehicles there for years. They are always professional and the guy at the front desk (believe his name is Donnie) always works hard to get you in ASAP. I have heard stories And been the victim of car repair shops who lie to you and tell you you need things done when you don’t. I have also been the victim of car repair shops adding on things to increase your bill. These guys are honest and have never tried any of that with us. I have no connections with anyone at the business and just wanted to give them a positive review for all the years they have taken care of our cars and been so honest in doing so!

They got me in same day, serviced quickly, and gave good info about my vehicle.

It was very fast. Oil change and tire rotation for a nice price. They didnt charge for extra oil like most places do. Not sure if that is standard or not.I did have to schedule ahead of time but it was half the price of the valvoline instant oil change place.

This is a great shop! Donnie is always fantastic to work with and is genuine about his recommendations. I have been bringing my cars here for 10+ years because their work is solid and the price is as reasonable as it gets.

The staff got me in at my appointed time and were helpful in doing those things that I havent had time for and the best part is I didnt have to pay an arm and a leg for the service. I scheduled an appointment online Just a few days in advance. When I arrived they got my car in within 5 minutes and I was out the door in less than 30 minutes for a state inspection. They were extremely busy but very nice and helpful. Thats why I come here.

On Monday morning I dropped of my vehicle in the morning to be diagnosed with a problem I had started noticing over the weekend. The vehicle was quickly checked in and checked out. They called me and gave me a reasonable quote that I agreed to. My vehicle was serviced and finished within the same day. It was a great experience.

Great service, very friendly people and Honest people

I came in with a metal on metal noise coming from my left front tire. They looked and couldnt find anything wrong with my brakes or rotors or wheel bearings. They noticed a slight bend in a plate though and bent it back and the sound was gone all fixed and they did it at no charge. They couldve been like most car places and said it was an expensive wheel bearing but they were very honest and upfront. Thank you Meineke for your honesty and kindness!!! Recommending you to all who needs a good honest mechanic!

Donnie is the best He is extremely knowledgeable about all makes of cars, and he is honesty & straightforward.

I am always greeted when I enter this Meineke which is a plus. I had to leave my car for a couple hours to figure out the problem with my gas leak. Donny called about 4 hours later saying the car was ready to be picked up. That was sooner than expected.

Love this place, the people are caring and professional. They help explain and do their best to make sure your car is running at its best.
