My fault. I should not have gone back. I went there before and did not like the ambiance thought it was not too clean before. Okay, I came back a few times recently for gel manicure and normal pedicure. The lady with long hair who did my pedi and gel manicure before was professional and did a good job. And that was the only one and only time. I went back for another gel mani and the lady called Luna ripped my nails off basically when trying to remove the gel. I asked her not to file them so much and so hard. She completely ignored me and kept doing it. Barely used acetone. Filed even more. The manicure was also horrible with lots of cuticles and polish not applied correctly. 4 days later I started to have several nails chipping and breaking because she filed them paper thin. The gel also did not last.Then yesterday happened (pictures bellow). I did not want to go back there (I had to go to another place to have them removing their gel carefully and had to keep my nails from any service for 3 weeks to try to recover them- they all kept breaking and chipping all over because of the damaged their service caused- that never happened to my nails before).I had to go there because they close later. I got an appointment but unfortunately they had Luna doing my nails again. I considered not doing it but I wanted to give another chance plus I was not doing gel this time in order to protect my nails.I asked her to trim my toe nails square. The cut the big toe nail all round in that perfect way to have it ingrown. I asked her if she could fix it, she did something else. Pedicure was fine otherwise.Then mani… oh my god. I asked her not to file the top of my nails (the nails themselves not the tip where you file after cutting) because they were so damaged and thin from before (btw by her doing…). Of course, she got a block file and roughly filed them after I asked not to.Cuticles? Try to look at the pictures. She put my nails on a very cold water bowl. They poorly removed the cuticles. I kindly asked her to remove obvious cuticles left on several nails. She said and I quote “Oh I removed already a lot” pointing to her tool and to other fingers completely ignoring all the fingers left horribly. I was still clearly discontent because the cuticles were horrible, uncomfortable and visible. She kept going.Nail polish? Oh my god. She applied them so poorly. Leaving big and uneven gaps between the nail and finger, did not applied correctly on several spots and most of the tops are already coming off. She also applied the second coat not covering several parts off the first which I had to point to her and she unwillingly fixed some.The top coat was also not applied fully and she messed with one nail and left it defective.She did not applied moisturizer or anything, I later asked for some and she said she forgot.Meanwhile they were sometimes screaming at each other and stacking chairs on top of tables while she was starting my manicure.Horrible service, quality, ambience, and experience after she already causes so much damage to my nails before.But my fault in coming back and accepting that lady to do my nails again.Never going back. You can get a hundred times better service for the same price nearby or even better in many places in Annapolis.Do not recommend.

I went in to get some natural-looking longish acrylics and the nail tech did a fabulous job! I mean really - look at this precise shaping, the super thin layer of acrylic (which I asked for:), the great buff job. Well worth the $40 + tip!!

I’ve been there multiple times and every time they have been professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. Answered all of my questions about acrylics vs dip. They did an amazing job on my nails!

The only reason I am taking a star off, is because Jenna repeatedly told my God-Daughter that the only way she could do the designs, was by using gel not regular polish — Total nonsense, but I didn’t even care about that. I told her that it was okay to go ahead and do that, yet she continued to bring it up over and over. I started to think that maybe she was trying to talk my kid out of doing the design, so I asked her if she could do the design and she said yes, then repeated again that she could only do it in gel..I said that’s fine..she said it will cost more..again I said that’s still fine. She ended up doing it, and did an excellent job. I have a happy teenager, so therefor I am happy. Just could of done without the repetitive situation. Maybe she was nervous about doing the design, or just didn’t want to do it. She did seem thrown way off when my God-Daughter showed her the picture of the design she wanted. I don’t think she was expecting something so complicated. But if she didn’t want to do it, then she could of just said that too. So for a full acrylic set with tips, and a full gel manicure with design..She charged $70, and I left a 20% tip.

I got a full acrylic set with gel. I showed a photo of how I wanted my nails to look like. That got completely ignored. My nail tech was so aggressive he cut with the drill that use to file. He was bending my fingers ways they do not bend. I have color on my skin and my cuticles are cut up And then the price was $65 why so expensive

Very unprofessional and over priced!!They also rushed me into picking a color. It’s wasn’t even 1 minutes before she was rushing me to sit and grabbing my hand to start and kinda rough with my nails. They not look great shape.. they cost me $60.. it’s very horrible!! I will never go to there ever again!!!

Horrible experience. The woman never greeted me, hurt me twice, I told her she proceeded to continue drilling and caught an attitude with me because I was in pain. Never asked any questions about shape or how I would like my nails to look. Nails too thick and uneven. Poor poor customer service. I will not return!

I have never had any problem with this place until today. We are in the middle of a pandemic and we as customers use the mask to protect ourselves and the rest. However, this morning one of the employees decided to don’t use her mask until I had to speak up. In my opinion it’s unprofessional and unsanitary.

This nail salon has greatly improved over the past few years. I recently decided to give Bay Hills Nails another shot because its so close to my house and more convenient for me. They did not disappoint! I will be going back to continue to get my nails done here. Only complaint- I wish they had a website to read about pricing and what they offer.

Sophie gave me a lovely French pedicure! She adjusted the thickness of the white tip just how I liked it. Also the leg massage was very relaxing and the whole experience was a pleasant one. Definitely plan to go here and see her again.

Came in yesterday. This is my toe today. It wasnt like this before. I dont even know what to say. It hurts.

My sister in law and I went to Bay Hills Nails, I am not sure what they did, maybe used bad expired polish. We got gel done and my niece did a regular manicure. All of our nails started to crack and, the lower part of the polish started coming off within the week. It was the holiday time so we did not have time to go back to get them fixed. My niece who only had gotten the manicure came off as well. We all did the same color and design. So the same polish was used. All our our nails are ruined even my niece who did not do gel. It has been several months nail and our nails are still so unhealthy. I am not sure if nail polish has a shelf life or not or where they may have bought it from.... But horrible... : (

Best pedicure Ive had in the Arnold/Severna Park/Annapolis area in years. Techs name was Kim - she was friendly, funny and attentive. Great price too! My daughter got her acrylics filled with another tech - a little pushy on gel polish. Her experience wasnt as good as mine - several nails broke within a week. She is willing to try again as we loved the environment of the salon and the friendliness of the staff.

Kim and her team do an amazing job. The salon is very clean - Im never worried about sterilization issues, as I see them open a new sterile pack of instruments with every client. Even though I dont get my nails done very often, I am greeted by name and treated like a regular. Highly recommended!

I’ve been a customer here for 10+ years and can’t say enough great things about them. I use all their services for my nails, toes and waxing. I get compliments on my nails all the time. Just tell them what you’d like and they’ll do it right the first time and every time. Everyone makes you comfortable and treats you like family. They’re part of our community, they know my children and have watched them grow, they take care of my 87 year old mother like she’s their mom. Bay Hills Nails is the Best

Decent paint job but it took FOREVER as the nail technician kept getting up and walking away for 5+ minutes multiple times during my pedicure. She was not communicative and looked pretty unhappy to be doing her job. I’ve been here for an hour, she skipped the massage, and my nails aren’t even painted yet... Also, there was a roach crawling across the chair next to me.

Ive been going here since I moved to this area and love it. Always easy to get an appointment and everyone is very nice. They have a great selection of colors including gels.

So far, this is my favorite nail salon ever. My gel manicure is about a week old now, and still looks perfect. Usually, they are starting to chip by now, because my nails have a bend to them that makes acrylic start to pop off when there is growth. High hopes for future visits!

This place literally was so unsanitary (using the same old tools and nail files that she had obviously already used on other people.Im usually patient but she took a very long time.I got a dip powder with extensions. First, you only dip nails 2-3 times.. this lady dipped my nail six times. It was very bumpy and uneven on the surface. So she filed it down... It was still extremely thick and the shaping was terrible.. it was different on each nail.Honestly I have bought glue on nails that look more professional. Plus it was 55 dollars and it looked terrible!!They also rushed me into picking a color.. it wasnt even 30 seconds before she was rushing me to sit and grabbing my hand to start when I obviously had barely had a chance to pick a color.Do not recommend. Very unsanitary, unprofessional, and overly priced!!

Just moved to the area and was looking for a new salon. Went there twice because it was most convenient, but was treated horribly both times. Two separate technicians were VERY rude. Berated me for not picking out the right matching color myself (they said they were too busy to help me do so.) The other time I was scolded for picking out a nail polish that was empty. The bottle was dark, so I couldnt tell - and it was THEIR nail polish! They gave me dirty looks the whole time we worked together and one kept getting up and walking away while doing my nails. I felt like a complete inconvenience to them both visits. I will not be back!

I walked in around 4pm. It wasnt crowded at all. I was asked how could I be helped and I asked for a manicure. She lifted her head, looked at me and told me come back later, no ones available. I guess African American women needing manicures shouldnt come here. Evidently from the looks and treatment I received, we arent welcome here.

The wait is usually very short and well worth it.I have decided to switch to gel nail polish where you pay more, but it lasts for several weeks so it saves me tons of time and money.You cant go wrong coming to this salon and you will have a great mani/pedi with lots of colors to choose from!

Got a gel polish French manicure. They did an amazing job.

I have been getting my nails done at Bay Hills nails since 2004. The staff is wonderful and always very friendly. They greet customers with friendly hellos and many are on a first name basis.I have never been dissatisfied. Titi is my primary manicurist but if shes not there Tammy does a great job as well.The salon is clean and well maintained.Bay Hills Nails is my go to place for a mani and pedi.

Went to get my nails done today. The woman who painted my nails was awful. She was rude - she told me to never move or she would cut me; that I needed to remove and place my hands in the machine repeatedly - and when I missed doing so once, she berated me for it; that the color I chose was wrong and that if I went with that color that was it - I would have to pay her more money to change the color. To top it off, she did a terrible job - I have black spots on several nails, and every nail is discolored toward the skin. Ill never come here again - and you shouldnt either.

When I went here the lady that did my nails was very rough. She was actually hurting me and she could tell because she kept asking me if it hurt.. I did tell her but she just kept doing it. I asked her for an almond shape, because I was getting acrylics and she ended up giving me short and round nails. I paid $30 plus a tip for one of the worst manicures I have ever had!

Service was horrible. No hello from nail tech. I pointed out water on the floor which she wiped up and then threw the dirty towel on my show. Scratched her had vehemently then kept massaging my legs. Gross. No price listed for pedi or gel pedi.

This place is hit or miss. Prices are too high. Most of the girls dont speak except to one another. Guess you have to be a regular ! Polish came off in 3-4 days the last 2 times I went.

Will not ever return. Toe nail is bleeding a day later from being cut too short. Manicurist cut my daughters nails short despite her saying she did not want them cut. Owner was just plain rude.
