It is so sad that so many people have criticized CBH on Google. My family has used them for 2-3 years. The providers are excellent (Yeah Dr. Nguyen!) and the admin support is above average.

The office staff has terrible organizational services. Multiple times they have scheduled me for an appointment and not followed up. Extremely unprofessional. The psychiatrists are great if you can actually get in touch with them. I do not recommend this service if you are in need of urgent help or care.

Sorry to say the reviews are correct. They are extremely unprofessional and dont respond to communication. I emailed them 5 times about my bill and called at least 3 times and no response. I had to literally keep calling one day and bug the receptionist. I had been asking for an updated bill for 3 months. Once I finally spoke with someone from billing, she was very rude and nonchalant about the lack of professionalism. Plus, they charge( 20 or more) for literally every thing (doctors note, prescription refill etc. ) this place was the only office I could find during Covid and now I understand why. Please please look elsewhere.

Do NOT join this place, I left because they keep billing you the same bills over and over again and they invent dates and bill you for times they didnt see you. Im still getting bills and Ibleft them like 6 months ago. They are a nightmare. They are exploiting you and the insurance companies. Im seroiusly thinking about going to 7 on your side or something.

I like it here. I have had two doctors here since starting one left, and my current provider is great(Dr.Nguyen) They actually listen to me and work with me to find out whats working well or what isnt. I always walk away feeling more informed and comfortable.

The other reviews are true, this practices office admins grossly mishandle patient communications & billing left & right while putting 0 effort forth to answer questions or fix their mistakes. On multiple occasions Ive sent repeat emails & left several voicemails attempting to get a response from anyone on their team & have had to wait 3+ weeks for them to answer.Save your energy / time / money & go quite literally anywhere else but this place.

The office staff is unprofessional and difficult to get in touch with. It was impossible to reach my doctor with a question regarding medical side effects and I have had billing issues as well. I was pleased with the quality of psychiatric care I received from medical professionals, but had to seek care elsewhere.

Writing to warn others against fraudulent billing practices at CBH.If you go to CBH for med management, you will notice on your bill that for every visit they apply two billing codes: One for evaluation and management for an established patient for $200, and one for psychotherapy for $150, meaning they bill you $350 for one 20 min med management session that does not actually include psychotherapy. They SHOULD NOT be doing this--I did research to make sure, talking to friends and colleagues in the mental health care industry, reviewing bills I received from previous providers, and talking to a Medicare representative. If you try to ask them about their billing practices, they stonewall you. They do not respond to phone calls or emails, and if you do talk to someone, they claim they need to check with someone higher up, and then just never get back to you.I want to warn specifically about the provider I worked with, Jonathan Fricke as well. While there were some things I liked about him, there were some glaring problems : he would forget important details about me and my treatment, including what my diagnosis was, and at one point even the dosage of a med I was on. When I brought the billing issues up with him directly, his response was extremely unprofessional. He told me, in an aggressive tone of voice, I know how to do my job, and if you dont like it you can just go elsewhere.Whats funny is that up until that point, I had actually liked working with him, and he was the reason I hadnt just quit the practice. I had cut him some slack on some of the mix-ups because I know that a lot of providers who take Medicare have an excessive case-load, and that can make it hard to keep different individuals straight. But its interesting to me that when I raised a concern about fraudulent billing, he got defensive about the quality of the care he had given me, which I had not complained about nor even mentioned. The gentleman doth protest too much, methinks!

Dr. Yusuf Azim, psychiatrist at the Arlington, Virginia office ( and other locations), is my doctor. Dr. Azim is a magnificent, caring doctor. He truly provides heartfelt and expert help. Dr. Azim is exemplary. I highly recommend him. I trust him. His office accepts virtually all insurance plans. Sincerely, Robert Bruce Johnston

Horrible experience! Although Dr. Nene was recommended to me by my sons pediatrician I was very disappointed with the practice. All Dr. Nene cares about is money and overbilling his patients, he does not care about their well being. Their billing department is an absolute mess. They are sending me bills for services I have already paid. I even had my insurance company call them because of billing issues. When the agent from Aetna called them they never returned her calls.

Predatory Billing. Get ready for $400 bills for 10-15 minutes of unhelpful telehealth. Unresponsive staff.

I’ve been receiving mental health care for the last 6 years. I’ve been a patient at this office for just over a year. I receive the best care I’ve ever had from this office. I feel listened to, validated, and understood. I NEVER get the feeling of being looked down upon for having a mental health condition like I have been in the past at other places. They listen to my feedback on medications and I am FINALLY on the right medications to manage my symptoms. I receive Telehealth services which is even better. I don’t have to drive in a high traffic area to get quality care.

With the new online appointments due to COVID, they send you a link for the call when you schedule. However, if you are late to the video appointment they do not give you a phone call or anything to check in. Would figure a courtesy call is not too much to ask since they will charge you a fee for missing.

This practice denied me service because I arrived 1 minute past my appointment cut off time. First of all their building is impossible to find, secondly the lobby did not have a building directory, thirdly when I finally found the office the sign next to the door did not even have the correct name, it instead had some African sounding doctors name on it. I was only able to figure out in was in the right place because I looked through the doors glass window. I thought the receptionist was kidding when she said I was late. My phone showed 1 minute past their cut off time. This looks like a fly by night operation. I am happy to look for therapy elsewhere.

I had a new patient emergency appointment set up and ready to go. I arrived on time and sat for thirty minutes before the doc finally showed and asked to reschedule because she had an appointment in 30 minutes. Unbelievable and unprofessional.
