This vet clinic has been the best one I’ve taken my two kitties. Both of my cats have quite a bit of medical issues, especially the older one and they have been able to solve the issue and get him on the right track to be healthy! He’s been doing great after worrying about him for so long. They’re super kind here, get our cats in when needed, and I would always trust this vet clinic with all my animals! The total cost for everything is very reasonable, they’re professional, and overall the best place to bring your animal to. I couldn’t thank them enough for all they’ve done for me and my animals.If you’re looking for a new vet clinic to take your animals to and if you’re worried about them, please give this place a chance, it is so worth it!

I love this clinic!!! Dr. Rachal and Dr. Newton have been caring for my pup for the past 4 years. Jazmin, Michele, Vanessa, all of staff is very caring and great! Here recently my puppy had to have surgery and had to stay overnight. Dr. Newton went above and beyond in keeping me updated. It was a very scary nervous experience for me, but she made me feel at ease and I knew my pup was in good hands. Thank you Animal Health Care Center for all you do for our fur babies 🙂

Great curbside service. Did a wonderful job with our ailing German Shepard. Dr. Newton is the best! Prices are very reasonable & they really care about your fur baby. This will be our one & only pet friendly veterinarian.

Set an appointment for my day off. Filled out the online forms, waited in the car. Called to be let in and did the Covid forms. They brought us in where we waited for 30 minutes before coming to tell us there was an “emergency.” Both doctors were dealing with it, so we could continue us to wait or reschedule. They are NOT an emergency clinic. This would not happen in a doctors office, so why here? Now I have my own emergency of finding a new vet so MY dog can get the shots and meds he needs. Not professional and no contingency plan for emergencies for their clients.

I dont even know where to start, I loved this place❤️ they made me feel so welcomed, Dr. Hubbard is such a sweetheart Ive visited different clinics, animal hospitals and not once have felt cared for like they made me feel.. They dont only care for your sick furry babies but for your well being at least thats how I felt from Dr. Hubbard and her staff. My husband and I were amazed by how my furry baby and I were treated and cared for. My furry babes clinic for sure!Im definitely staying with them & will schedule for my other two furry beauties visits.

Animal Health Care Center of Arlington is a wonderful vet for your pets! I have 2 dogs that go to this vet and they do such a great job with both of them. They care about the dogs, but they also care about the owners and work hard to keep me informed and answer any questions I may have regarding my dogs health needs.

We have been seeing Dr. Rachal since Boudreaux was in the Bassett Hound Rescue 12 years ago! We LOVE the love and attention our dogs and cats receive here! 💕

All the staff were very nice and the vet spent a lot of time getting to know my dog. Just moved to the area and was very impressed on my first visit.

They always have excellent bedside manner for our puppies. Dr. Cyndi takes the time to keep us informed and her love for her patients (especially our rescue bassets) is readily apparent. Michele gives our 12 year old basset so much love and attention, he forgets about us! Shout outs to Jazmine, Derek, Deanna and the rest of the staff for putting up with our growing family of dogs. We found this exceptional animal health care center almost 10 years ago and would not dream of leaving this caring team.

Dr Newton and staff were cordial, professional and easy to talk to. I left my cat Sophia for boarding ,while I was away. When I called the clinic, the staff was good to give me updates on Sophia. I was able to rest, knowing that Sophia was in good hands.

I absolutely adore this place and the staff. I recently moved out to Burleson so I was planning on finding a vet a little bit closer, but then my baby boy got sick and they just treated him with love. Dr.Newton is also so patient with the 1000s of questions I have and my daily phone calls to make sure everything is normal. I truly couldn’t be more happy with the whole team!

Integrative medicine at it finest for animals. This is the future of vet medicine.

Taking my pets for many years have never been disappointed bye the Steph and doctors

A couple of years back I was sent to AHCC to have my foster dogs seen. From the very initial interaction, Dr. Rachal and her team have been nothing but incredibly kind, caring, professional and accommodating. Such that I decided to transfer the vet care of my personal pets to her clinic. Because of fostering, I have been to several vet clinics and I have to say, AHCC is the only one so far I feel is deserving of my business. For me today, Dr. Rachal and her team are more than just a service provider. Theyve become our (mine and my pets) friends. Most of our visits have not been for the happy-uneventful-regular routine check up. If we are there, something is up and Dr. Rachal pours her caring and passionate love for vet practice into every single one of my animals, and I am sure into every single animal she comes across, period. Vet techs and staff are right up there with Dr. Rachals standarts. I can only imagine this inst an easy field. Things that are beyond our control do happen, but rest assured you and your pets will be actively well cared for.

I absolutely love Animal Health Care and everyone who works there. They always give their best and I trust my puppy with them completely. This is my first time being in charge of a dogs health and Im so grateful my friend suggested this place to me because, ooo boy, has my puppys health been a rollercoaster from the moment we got her. Twice now, Ive had to call on a Friday (theyre closed on the weekends) asking if they could squeeze her in. Both times, theyve given her and me the best care and I never felt like they rushed her check up. Seeing how healthy my puppy is now compared to when I got her is an absolute wonder and I owe so much thanks to AHCC.

So disappointing! As you all know it is Covid 19 season, my appointment was requested by these doctor office at 1140 am and I called outside the clinic at 1149 am, as I called the front desk lady said that she would check to see if the doctor was available, she stated the doctor was at lunch and that I would be charged an extra $30. This is insane. I am disappointed that this facility was use a couple minutes late as an extra charge. If you are late, get ready to pay extra money or receive bad service. This place really does not value your pets any longer. How sad! I asked to speak to manager but the manager was not available until Monday. Even in this pandemic they show no mercy and no caring for your pets.

Dr. Rachal should been sent to the board for malpractice. One of our furry babies was taken there to be seen because she hadnt eaten for several days and was vomiting and losing weight. Dr. Rachal looked at her and said there was nothing wrong with her because she ate a couple bites of human food. She didnt do any tests and said the dog was fine. Well, our fur baby was taken somewhere else immediately since we knew something was wrong with her and we did bloodwork on her. Guess what? Our baby was in organ failure and DIED a couple days later. I highly doubt Dr. Rachal has been advised of this because certain businesses care more about their reputation and ego rather than holding someone accountable for failing the oath they took when becoming a vet.In response to the clinics response... I am not in your database out of protection of myself. I was part of another entity that you service and was highly involved with that pets case. Dr. Rachal should remember sending a pet back to that entity because she ate Cheerios and peanut butter. This is no glaring misunderstanding and medical records dont lie.

The best Vet Clinic, I have ever experienced, in my 76 years. 5 Stars arent enough. From surgery on my Amazon Parrot, (years ago), to saving my Dogs life, this week. My three year- old Border Collie- mix, was in a dangerous situation. He had a bowel obstruction, vomiting, dehydrated.Took him to the closest clinic, which was open after-hours. Other than giving a shot for nausea, prescribing a few VERY expensive oral medicines (which they knew he couldnt keep down), nothing else was done, except giving me the bill for $434.94, and a promise to do imagining, if he didnt improve. Phoned Animal Health Care Center, early next morning. Even though, booked solid, I was told to bring dog, right in. I made the 17 mile drive, and they went to work on him, immediately. They got to the problem, straight-way, and surgery wasnt necessary. I will continue driving from Cedar Hill.

I brought my sweet dog Jillian in after she ate all of the pecans in the known universe and then developed an obstruction that had to be removed surgically. I couldnt be happier with the care she received! Her recovery was speedy, and her incision healed wonderfully. Dr. Hubbard and the vet techs have been so helpful and compassionate. Their waiting area has lots of space, which is important for a dog like mine who is scared by other dogs (and basically anything). We never waited more than a few minutes to get in to our exam room, they always had enough availability to accommodate us, and I was happy with the price for a metropolitan area. We moved to Ohio so I can pursue graduate school, but we know well be back to AHCC any time were home in Arlington!

We have been going there for over 14 years for health care for our dogs. There is a reason why. Very caring, compassionate, professional, and excellent pet care. They go the extra mile in caring for your pet. Our pets are part of our family and we want the very best care.

We wouldn’t trust our furry family members, two 12 year old Kerry Blue Terriers, to any other veterinarians. Dr. Rachal and her staff are the best. I cannot possibly list all of things that they have done for us over the years. They’ve given us superb care for wellness exams, surgeries, boarding, acupuncture, laser therapy and many more procedures.We’re second generation clients now. Our adult daughter brings her 3 year old bearded dragon to them.

This clinic and their staff have been top notch with all of our pets and their customer service. Their staff is courteous and friendly and understand all of our pets needs. We have brought all of our pets here our most recent puppy some was 6 weeks and now he is 3 years old and have even extended and recommended this clinic to our family . Keep up the good work!!!

DO NOT BRONG YOUR LOVED PETS HERE!!!I have been coming here for a decade and a half. I have NEVER received this lack of service and caring for my pets or myself. If you want your pet nearly killed for a simple, routine tooth extraction then this place is for you and your pets.7:30am - drop dog off for procedure which is scheduled for 8:30 am. Pay $500+ in cash. No receipt offered or given. 1st red flag.8:30am - procedure time11:01am - no communication as promised. Called twice for an update and get nothing but excuses and will call when they have time. More red flags.11:40am - receive a voicemail that there were problems during the procedure and unfortunately there was a problem, before stating that they are monitoring her and she is doing OK.Multiple calls for an update inquiring when we may retrieve our dog and still no doctor or tech will take the call. Red flags and alarms starting ring.4:03pm - Finally get to speak to the doctor at the end of the day. Excuses commence about being so busy and this mystery emergency, yet my dog almost dying was not important enough to have a conversation. Was told we could speak face to face when we arrived. We requested to speak to the manager and copies of all the procedure documentation. Remaining calm and just really want to see our fur baby.5:03pm - call from parking lot, standard during COVID-19. On hold, doc won’t come to phone and put on hold. Derek, supposedly the manager, but had always been told he was the tech in the past, tells me that doctor is just now writing/re-writing procedure notes, when the procedure was at 8:30am this morning. The excuses again begin to flow. I express my displeasure and that my only concern at this point is my dog. Derek refuses to come out and speak to me and becomes very condescending and extremely rude. . I get out and bang on door, demand my dog. Derek, yells he’s calling cops. I respond for him to please do so. Definitely have some fear about my doggies well being.5:20pm - 2-alarm here, 2 police arrive. I am sitting in my truck and give bad cop the replay. He goes into speak to Derek and staff. Good cop is on wife’s side of truck and she replays the horrible voicemail. Good cop agrees and would be fairly aggravated also.Good cop and bad cop both present and I state same as I have, that I just want my dog.5:46pm - bad cop finally brings dog out to us and state their are outstanding charges, but they are being waived. Money was never a concern or mentioned and we could care less about any cost at this point. Bad cop hands us our girl with a bag of medications. 5 medications to be exact...for a simple tooth extraction!! No receipt. No directions on medication dosage. Nothing! I demand receipt for services rendered. Bad cop brings out tech Derek to be told I’m no longer allowed on property. Advise I am not leaving until I am handed receipt for services rendered as I am entitled. Begrudgingly given said receipt and rewritten recap in notes section. Finally allowed to leave and being our wimpering girl home.Relieved that we have her home but know there’s some recovery ahead. Hoping and praying that there’s no long term affects to her mishaps during the procedure. Lack of oxygen, enlarged heart, fluid in lungs are just a few of the tidbits in the notes.I’m not sure if it’s incompetence or ignorance, but seems to be a combination of both and then some.Stay far away unless you want heartache and pain that we have been subjected. We will gladly take any suggestions for a new vet in the Arlington area.UPDATE: The reply from owner is absolutely false. Police were contacted, however no one was ever threatened. We were upset as would anyone that loves their pets. These people refused to give us any information and would not return our pet, who is still struggling with breathing after the incompetence of this “business”. Proceed at your own risk, but beware if something that “rarely” happens does occur, they will do anything to avoid owning up to their mistakes or do anything to alleviate any fears or apprehension.

So disappointing! They called me as I was driving to their location to cancel my appointment. An appointment that was originally booked over a week ago! They had already rescheduled my appointment because their tech called in sick earlier this week. But a call 30 mins before the appointment is just awful business practice! Then on top of it, they no longer work with exotic animals - so you would think they would recommend someone else to take my hedgehog to... but no. All I was told is they no longer work with exotics. Isnt that nice! Thank you Animal Health Care for nothing. Now I have to scramble to find a new vet that will be able to trim our sweet hedgies nails asap! Again, I am so disappointed in this business. But I am relieved that I didnt move my dogs over to them yet. It prevents me from further inconveniences!

The best veterinarians to take care of all your fur baby & exotic needs. They are the most affordable clinic that I’ve found in Arlington/Mansfield area. The entire staff from walking in to greet you to the techs who help treat your pets to the vets themselves really care about you and your pet.

I have given Dr. Rachal and her clinic 5 stars because a million is not an option! Dr. Rachal and her staff have been excellent in their care of Allie as she is recovering from a spinal injury that left her unable to walk. She has gone from unable to walk to trying to run and chase the squirrels in our yard. This is a wonderful facility that provides the very best care possible. We love them!

When my family was going through a very difficult time. They helped us, with surgeries for our dog Akira. And cared for my other baby until he passed. We love Animal Health Care! The staff and vets are super nice and attentive to our several pets that we take to them. The only reason Im giving them 4 stars is because the wait times are sometimes really long — probably because they are so busy and popular! Otherwise, we have no complaints and definitely recommend this practice to others with furry friends.

You can definitely get like tell they really care for the animals here. It was my dogs first time visiting and they were very patient with both of my 60+ lb skiddish girls.

Dr. Rachal takes great care of ALL the pups our dog rescue has sent there. We know the dogs are in the best of hands with the greatest veterinary team around. Would recommend to anyone.

I cannot express enough the grief this place has put me and my family through. I took my dog Luna in for a simple spay procedure, being reassured that it’s a quick process and has been done 100 times before by the vets they have on call. The day I took her in for her appointment, I dropped her off did the prepay setup. Went to work and they called me all day, wanting more money for this and for that. Forgetting that I was going to leave her with them overnight to be sure after the surgery. Finally they called again asking to put her on fluids, because she was “lethargic and dumpy”. Saying it was going to be an extra $100 on top of the $400 they’re wanting for the procedure and the tests ( all of which came out good). She was 100% healthy and had no issues whatsoever. I say that I would rather watch her that night, and wanted to come pick her up. I get there and they finally I guess did some due diligence hours after her surgery and with an ultrasound found blood pooled into her abdomen. Hours and frustrating talks later they said she died of “complications” moments after they had reassured me she was stable and just needed some care. I get her the next morning, heartbroken. They’d put her in a “paper doggy coffin” which is a cardboard box. I guess they didn’t expect me to open it; I didn’t want to bury her in that. And I find that after she died they’d put her in a trash bag in the freezer, tied off and with the IV still in her. This is a godawful place with staff that doesn’t want to own up to their doings and has NO inclination for anything other than asking for money. Please do not bring your pets here.

The doctors and technicians are caring and informative. Even though I live a distance away, I continue to take my little dog there for their expert help.

Dr. Hubbard and her staff always do a great job with our dogs. One of them has severe anxiety, and the staff doesnt miss a beat in providing him the treatment and service hes scheduled for. A very professional staff that cares about the patients.

I feel SO bad for Ms. Hicks but I disagree with her assessment of the care she received from the Doctor & staff. In all my 45 years of dealing with pets & vets, this Doctor & staff are the BEST I have found! They have taken care of my pets for years now. I refer my associates, fellow workers, neighbors, friends & family to them. No one has been unhappy!She is a ROTARIAN & works with the City of Arlington to care for their K-9 units.You can get better than that!

Great veterinary clinic. I take and have taken all of my pets there. Very affordable. They work with the animal shelter as well. Super friendly staff, that is very patient with all of my questions, and they explain things in words you can understand.

I really want to give a 5 star. The doctors are wonderful! I am extremely picky, as I worked as a vet tech and trained reception for 15 years. However, the customer service sometimes is not great at all. If I am on the schedule, you shouldnt need to ask who I am. Greet me with enthusiasm. Im going to tell others if I felt welcome or not. Expect me to ask questions and have an opinion. Be glad that I take an active roll in my pets health and be happy to discuss these questions. That said, once again the doctors are outstanding!

My pet was never the same from the moment I walked out of the door. I’m pretty sure incorrect meds were administered. My pet died within 6 hours of visiting this butcher shop. If I could give them negative stars I would absolutely do so.

This is a wonderful facility. My Sheltie was disables in her back legs. One visit to Dr. Rachal for acupuncture and laser treatment, she began to regain the use of her legs. After three treatments, she was trying to chase squirrels! These folks worked with my own veterinarian to provide the best care.

Regardless of whether I come in for an appointment that’s been scheduled for weeks or coming in at the last minute due to an injury, the staff here have always treated me and my fluff ball warmly and with great care. The staff is personable and knowledgeable. The only time I was irked with this facility was due to a miscommunication in regards to boarding, but no harm done.

Im a new client and am very pleased with the service I have received. The staff has demonstrated their dedication to outstanding customer service and compassionate care of my two dogs. I had a wonderful experience bringing my ferret here when I noticed hed been lethargic and sleeping for 4 days straight. Dr.Sternitzke is incredibly knowledgeable on ferrets and answered every single question I had. She even offered me two treatment options, one involving diagnostics tests first and the other involving a variety of medications that would likely clear up any minor issues, as she stated she understands that sometimes there can be a financial concern when it comes to treatment.Unlike my experience with other vets, I was informed ahead of time and had to give consent for any new charges added onto the visit. I was even offered a new print up any time they changed.At the end of the visit, the staff made sure there were no big dogs at the front before having me leave the exam room to make sure my ferret was completely safe and comfortable.Everyone from the people at the front to the vet tech to the actual vet were incredibly welcoming and kind and my ferret was treated like he was their own pet. I couldnt recommend this place more, especially with how hard it is to find a vet who really knows what they are doing when it comes to ferrets.

I like all the veterinarians and the techs. My dog has skin issues and they take care of him very well especially now with covid. He does not like to go without me, so they go above and beyond to work on him. That is usually in my car, because he wont get out.

I has been taking my dogs to Gully Animal Hospital as needed and I had been INCREDIBLY disappointed during every visit. However, two or three years ago, my sister (with two chinchillas! They treat exotics!) recommended Animal Health Care Center as a cheaper AND better experience so I gave them a try.I absolutely LOVE this place and although I will be moving soon, I am going to drive out of my way to come back because the vets here are AMAZING! Ive yet to come to them with an issue they couldnt solve. Every concern of mine is looked into and treated, giving my dogs longer and healthier lives. Dr. Rachal is an incredible vet and I know my dogs are in capable hands when I bring them here.Even when I had to euthanize my kitty two years ago, Dr. Rachal made time, in what I know was a very busy day, to come and stay with me during the procedure. She talked to me for a long time, reassured me that I had went above and beyond for my kitty and was completely compassionate and patient.I will always love these guys - please try them out yourselves and youll see what I mean!

They were supposed to clip all my hamsters teeth then i could bring her in to get them clipped every 2 to 3 months. Well they didnt clip the top 2. And i found her dead from starvation and choking on her own teeth that had grown into her throat. She was barely a year old. I cant wait for someone to sue yall for malpractice. I wish i had read what yall did to these poor animals before i went to yall.

Great vets office, tech and Dr..I have gone for quite some time and even drive passed 3 vets closer to my house. Pricing is less than others, too.

I had the worst treatment and even had animal protection called on me after my visit. I am a first time owner to an English bulldog and have had to take him to many vet visits, but this one has by far been one of the WORST experiences! He has awful skin problem, but I rushed him in because his eye wasn’t in the best conditon and he was very hurt. They offered to re home him, or to put him down. Officer comes to my house a few hours after my visit and is even confused as to why they would lie to him about my dog not being able to “move” or “see” when he was as playful as always and IS ABLE TO MOVE. Never will I EVER go to this clinic again. If I could give 0 stars, I would!!

The vets and the staff truly care about each animal that walks through the door! The prices are fair! And we’ve never had an issue with the care our dogs have received!

We are regulars here with 4 dogs.they are very good with our fur babies!

I took my 5 month old kitten to these people as he was not breathing properly and they told me he had to do some tests and an x ray which came out to $235 and then they told me he had Pyothorax an illness where he has pus in his chest surrounding his lungs so he cannot breathe. They said he was dying and I had 2 options either to take it out and hospitalize him with fluids and antibiotics which would cost another $800 (if not more if he had to stay longer than the 3 days they thought he would stay and if he needed any other things). My other option was to euthanize him. After my mother argued and said the price was ridiculous the doctor said she didnt make the prices and we were paying for her schooling and expertise and for the technicians to stay overnight with him and take care of him. (I understand you worked hard but bringing up your education to us while we were grieving with this horrible decision was not really necessary or the right place or time). My mom does not believe in euthanasia and thought we should just take him home and try to make him comfortable if he passed but they THREATENED us and said if we took him home they would call animal control on us for cruelty and negligence. Basically threatening us to pay that amount. Someone else I spoke to who works with animals later said that is illegal and as long as we didnt cause the disease or illness they could not hold him hostage like that. So they said we had 2 options pay $1035 or pay to have him killed. We are not in a good place financially so we could not pay that amount. And my heart hurts. They made us pay $55 extra to keep the body there as we had no where to bury him. Why does the American health care system charge so much for humans and animals? We just want to help our animals get better but these prices are ridiculous. I understand its expensive. I get some places charge more than others. But what made me MOST upset was the threat of calling animal control. I LOVE my cat. I just cannot handle the idea that I placed a hand in killing him :(

Words can not explain how greatful I am in Dr Rachal for saving my babies life. From abuse to rescue to loving home. She did an amazing job of reconstructing her beautiful face. She was also there for the very end after the awful diagnosis of cancer. I appreciate her more than she will ever know.Love Dani and Gypsy love

After 10 years of taking my pet there, I began noticing a negative change in the way I was treated. Never going back after the veterinarian was rude and totally unprofessional, talking about me in the hallway where I could here everything. She lacked compassion towards my pet and situation. I understand this is a business, yet kindness and empathy go a long way and she lacked tremendously with both!!

Our 12-year old papillon Bugsy has had numerous health issues lately. Dr Wood and her competent staff provide excellent treatment and care. We always leave feeling confident in the treatment plan and Bugsys recovery. Dr. Wood is an awesome veternarian.

I work with over 200 veterinarians. My shitzu ended up with bladder stones and I needed to get him in to surgery quickly. I know and trust all of my vets but from what I have seen from Dr. Rachal and her staff I chose to take my boy to her. I am so glad I did. They kept me informed throughout the day as to how he was doing and gave me in depth detailed after care instructions for when he came home. His recovery time was amazing. I just cant say enough about the care of not only my dog but of me. I would trust them with any of my animals. PS. Maestro is a very neurotic dog and they were unbelievably patient with him which I am grateful for.

Animal health care center is by far the best veterinary center that Ive ever taken my pets to. Here, I feel like they genuinely care about me and my pet. I dont feel rushed, I dont feel like theyre trying to get patients in and out. Nicole sat with me and my dog and listened to the issues my dog was having. She was so sincere. I drive two hours to bring my babies here. Thats how much I recommend this vet care center.

I am so happy that I took my puppy here for an emergency examination! They got her back superfast and took amazing care of her! They informed me of everything they were doing and made me feel very good and like she was in perfect hands! Jazmine was so sweet to my little baby and turns out all she had was an upset stomach! Sent home medicine and explained it all for me and this will for sure be her new regular vet!

I have a 11 year old shitzu and maltese. Dr. Rachal has been the only veterinarian to spend time explaining in depth diagnosis and future for my two dogs. I followed her advice and my maltese now runs and plays (she hasnt in years) my shitzus blood work is now normal!!!!!. The staff is loving and kind and go out of their way to make your animals feel safe and loved. I read the 2 reviews on here that werent the best. Let me just say from experience that if someone has animal control called on them. There IS a reason. If someone does not follow doctors advice on their pet. That is on THEM not the veterinarian. I see this all too often on these reviews and find them ridiculous. I have been a vet tech for 15 years. I drive over an hour to make sure my animals get the best care they possibly can. Animal Health Care Center is the place for the best standard of medicine and love that your animal will find.
