The store is fine. An the cashier at that time of the day was very nice. Bagged all my stuff. Just a nice little shopping experience

They have a huge variety of goods. Very good prices. If you dont want to go into a grocery store, try a dollar general near you. Tho I admit sometimes the line to check out are a little long. But for the convenience and prices, its worth it.

Dollar general is a wonderful local store with a variety of reasonable merchandise to fit your every day needs. I suggest everyone should shop there, trust me you wont be disappointed but satisfied

The store workers are nice and neat in appearance. Courteous as usual. The store had just received their shipment but,you were still able to maneuver around the store.

I like this store for the convenience and how nice everyone is. Very handy to grab items in a hurry. There are items priced a little higher than some other stores but there are also some great prices.

Always friendly and provide great customer service. Sometimes the line is long and only 1 cashier but that happens at most places so it wasnt a bad wait at all.

Not too familiar with the layout of these stores and though this store seemed to have a little bit of everything, It was a bit overcrowded by the amount of merchandise which didnt make it a quick trip as anticipated. Also, the Cashiers and other employees were extremely friendly and helpful here.

Dollar general always seems so dirty(including the bathrooms), the products on most shelves are completely cluttered or product is just thrown on the shelves. Customer service is not the best since you have rude and unfriendly cashiers with no motivation. Supervisors or other employees always seem to busy stocking when the cashiers line is too long and hardly ever come to help out which ends up leaving the cashier overwhelmed because customers tend to get impatient, get upset and leave their items in the basket somewhere in order to go somewhere else which also increases the cashiers workload because it is also their job to put all those items back on the shelves at the end of the day. More structure, more store hygiene and definitely an agreement that another cashier comes to help when then is 3 or more people standing in line at the only register open.

Store is super cluttered and things are all over the place, employees could be friendlier.. MOD completely ignored me when asking a question about an item they were supposed to have taken off the shelf (a penny item). Didnt even look at me just took my Item I was attempting to purchase and told me I couldnt buy it and continued ignoring me as I stood beside her asking about it... Customer service no-no. Like I get that they neededto deny me the purchase of the item, (which if Im not mistaken theyre still supposed to sell me the item for $.01 due to it being their fault the item was still on the shelf) but it wasnt too big of an issue to me, I simply asked about it and... Nothing lol like I was invisible or just irrelevant. Rude!! Great prices on laundry soap though.💯😂 lol

My daughter and I went there this evening and she stepped on one of their clothing sensors with a needle. Went through her shoe and was bleeding and she pulled it out got her finger...The cashier did not even ask if she was okay, she was more worried about people stealing clothing items! Are you kidding me?? Did not even asked if she would like a band-aid or file a report of a store injury!! So ridiculous!!!!

Some of these reviews are so unfair and UNTRUE! every store gets cluttered when being restocked or after being open all day & night. The staff here are not only helpful but keep a positive, friendly, and calm attitude. And yes even after enduring the mean, hateful, nasty remarks from customers. If you dont like the place find somewhere else to spew your ugliness. Seems like some of you have problems with the area in general not the store or its employees who by the way deserve medals for having to tolerate and even look at the likes of such hateful human beings!

Kinda a pain to check out only fair prices disheveled dusty stock. location is a bit dodgy with the local riff raff always a panhandler in the parking lot. The good staff members that get hired do not stay long.

Bad area and it was not that well kept. It was overpriced. On a package of underwear there was a security alarm that dosent allow you to remove from the rack to view the package. Tells you about the area. Have to protect a package of underwear. Incredible.

Only problem is alot of empty packages on shelves..like someone helped themselves without paying.not cool cuz it just makes us Paying legal citizen have to pay more in the end cuz of the crooks that go 5 finger bargain shopping. Looks like the store had recently been rearranged and it was extremely disorganized. It was difficult to find things. At least the staff is always helpful.

As a black woman and this being my first time visiting this location in apple valley, having the employee stand behind me and pretend to be on the phone, which myself being the manager of a ROSS, i would not allow my employees on the phone on the floor whatsoever, didnt work with me so well today. the action was distasteful and put a bad taste in my mouth. I will continue to give my business to the bear valley location. Sorry you didnt get what you were looking for out of me, dispicible ingrates.
