We stayed here the night of our wedding, before we left for the honeymoon. It was surprisingly terrific! Helpful staff, and clean, bright, modern rooms. We booked it thinking it would be OK if it was forgettable, but it was actually great. Well go back!

Great room and service. Took great care of us. Clean and very attentive. Restaurant was below par. Waitress was standing around talking instead of taking our order and bringing us menus. Food was not hot and we had to chase her down to get our bill.

Outstanding hotel, the bartenders are so friendly too. There is a free shuttle bus that takes you down to the waterfront. Fantastic spot, check it out !

Its a nice place and my Bartenders were great!!! Food isnt that good. We were there for a wedding. The shower broke on us. But over all okay. If you go please eat at Miss Shirleys great place to eat.

This is a quality hotel, with high ceilings and good air quality management. They have good protocols in place for social distancing. I would like to see more diversity among the art on the walls. All white is not alright.

Front desk Customer Service was HORRIBLE!!!🤬😡😤Im a Marriott rewards MEMBER. Youd think that would mean something!! But it did NOT!!! IM VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!😔I WAITED 4HRS for my room after getting a confirmation of an early check-in on the app.After Finally arriving in OUR room the TV didnt work. The chief engineer Ed requested to the front desk to move us to another room while he fixed the TV. They DECLINED!!!😱😤The TV was finally fixed. By this time its almost 6pm. Half the day is gone b4 we could get settled. No one offered an extra day or anything for the INCONVENIENCE!!!WORST WEEKEND GETAWAY AT THE WESTIN IN ANNAPOLIS!!!🤮😡😤🤬😩😫

I’m Ambassador Elite with Marriott and this has been a nightmare. It’s seems whenever it matters most Marriott drops the ball. Avoid this location if you can, you are honestly in a way better boat at any Historic Inns location or a Hilton property. If it’s not one excuse it’s another. Stop all the emails and promises if when I arrive it’s pretty much a joke. The valet guys are absolutely awesome, and the pool is a perk, anything else falls far short...

I like the location in the access it gives for walking to nearby restaurants and pubs. I absolutely LOVED the bed, very comfortable and the shower hadgreat water pressure. It certainly could have used another shelf to hold toiletries. There needs to be more hooks to hang items in as well. The USB ports didn’t work so I was grateful we brought an adapter. The iron leaked water and was older or needs to be replaced for sure. The coffee maker is cheap and leaks when brewing a cup. The window shade that rolls up and down came unraveled and not useable. The room is dusty. The night staff do not like their jobs, seemed to be a hassle that we asked for anything at all. Woke at 2:30 am with a terrible headache and went downstairs and they were sold out of Ibuprofen and Tylenol. Had to find a 24 hour pharmacy. When we checked in we were told there is room service but there isn’t a menu or instructions for that available and the TV guide states they have a continental breakfast but youHave to go in and sit in their restaurant and can’t take it up to your room. The most upsetting part is when we arrived, the Valet was not wearing a mask at all.None of them were and they were getting in and out of people’s vehicles, peoplefrom different places and no idea if they are vaccinated. So they could potentially be contributing to spreading of the COVID virus. He also instructed us that the parking is $30 a night with them and $25 parking elsewhere. There is actually a parking garage that is $6.00 a dayNearby. There was a convention of sorts that happened and not one person out of 50 plus people was wearing a mask and they were all over the lobby area where there are signs posted to be respectful and wear a mask in the lobby area.They actually charge for WiFi, $11.00 a day. Just kind of disappointed considering the high cost of the daily room rental.

As far as design and layout go, it was pretty standard for a Western. However, the valet, front desk, and bar staff were outstanding. It made sense when I saw the GM of the property working the front desk and personally talking with customers. He helped me get an extra room key, and I didnt even know it was the GM till I heard one of the employees say something. Excellent service is what I look for in hotels as a professional traveler, and this place has it in spades.

Very disappointed in my stay experience. I purposely picked this hotel because it was close to downtown and had a pool, except the entire pool was a lousy 3.5 so not even worth swimming in. It was supposed to be heated, but it was still slightly cold. Also, the pool closed at 9p, again not worth the money since other hotels have their pool open until 11p or midnight. The bed was hard as a rock and so high up that I struggled to climb into bed after a long and exhausting day, then the pillows were as flat as paper once you put your head on them. I woke up feeling horrible each morning. The front desk and valet staff were nice, but no one mentioned the free shuttle, I figured that one out myself eventually. The rooms were clean, but I regret picking this hotel. Never have I been so happy to leave vacation just so I could get a good nights sleep.

Way overpriced for what the room and amenities are - no shower gel, no free parking, no free wifi - décor and comfort are ok at best, far from being the trendy spot Westin used to be. Service is inexistant or condescending, tough choice… We had to pay for valet parking and yet the car stayed in the spot we parked it in?!?! The room closets have institution steel doors, there is no robes, you have to beg to get a towel per guest for the bathroom, it’s short on soap/shower gel, the shower seals are coming off the doors… to top it off, there was a dirty old fridge and a microwave in our room as if we were given a “camping room” - way subpar to what the Westin used to stand for. Will definitely choose to stay somewhere else. I feel robbed.

Felt very comfortable during COVID-19 pandemic staying here. Had a pool reservation all to myself for some laps. Staff was very helpful, friendly and accommodating. Great little free shuttle frequently takes you downtown and back making everything very accessible and walkable! Wish there was a shuttle from New Carrollton Metro / MARC and Baltimore Penn Station for people visiting Annapolis who don’t drive / without cars. Very clean and not ugly aesthetic like a lot of newer hotels. Keep it up! Great stay, thanks! Be advised parking under the hotel you have to pay for and did not find that out until AFTER which was not cool. Only complaint.

It always amazes me that expensive hotels still charge for WiFi. Maybe it is included with some rooms, but even their cheapest rooms are more expensive than lower quality hotels down the road that give free WiFi. However, that said, it was nice that we could log in to our personal netflix/amazon accounts directly through the TV. Generally the light pollution sleeping at night was low, however the green light from the smoke detector did cast a noticeable glow throughout the room. And there was only one person working in the bar on Saturday night, so there was a bit of a wait just to ask for some wine glasses. The bed was comfortable, everything was clean. There was no creamer with the in room coffee, nor was there an easily accessible power outlet for the coffee maker, where the coffee maker sat. Easy walking distance to several restaurants with outdoor dining. Overall, we had a great sleeping experience, but there are always things to improve.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Horrible. I reserved a room here thinking it would be comfortable and upscale. Nope. We check in go to room key works and someone else is already in that room. How in the world could that even happen. Room had no coffee maker or microwave. Called about microwave was told it was next to ice maker on each floor. SERIOUSLY, during COVID???? See picture of microwave. The room itself was very sparse had a miniature desk, no lamps just wall sconces that had like 1000 watt light kind of a stadium feel. The bed was hard as a brick.Spoke to manager and he said they had just done am entire refresh on the hotel. Laughable. Would never stay there again. High dollar rates for a motel 6 experience.

I got exceptional customer service yesterday and last night, but the day shift, not so much. We had to wait along while for them to open the fitness room after my an appointment. The cleaning staff was great. Another draw back was our view of the cemetery. Thats not so great.

As an avid business and pleasure traveler, I have had many levels of service, I have stayed at The Westin Annapolis twice now. The level of comfort and service is unparalleled. The staff anticipates your needs and then goes above and beyond. The food is fresh and the menu versatile. The full-service coffee bar in the lobby is a pleasant start to the day. The room is clean, open and welcoming. Location is perfect.

Positive: It is a very nice hotel. One of the best looking entrances of any hotel. Negative: Parking is annoying with all the mini charges. Need to allow a rollaway in the room or put a couch in the room.

During the pandemic, the Westin Annapolis did everything they could do to make sure their guest were taken care of and attended to with safety measures. Appreciate their hospitality and kindness the days my family spent at the hotel.

Attended Sandy Spring Realtor Appreciation & Holiday event. Music pumping and everyone dressed in their holiday best. It was really nice and the hotel staff very accommodating. There were several food stations ... everything from Shrimp, Oysters on the half shell, Prime Roast, succulent Ham, homemade Biscuits, Potatoes, Sweet Potatoes and the list goes on. We had an awesome time and I have to thank the wonderful partners we do business with -- Brenda D & Paul L.

Very nice and quiet! Very clean! They even placed a sticker between door and jam! Stating it was sanitized!The front desk were very courteous and professional! My room was facing the main Street which was nice! Could see all the traffic! Also have an inside restaurant and bar and a 🌟 for coffee!As well as one across the street opposite corner!They are covid 19 set up with hand sanitizer at the desk and close to the dining room!You will have to turn on the side street then first left to get to the main entrance! Parking in the front, and down along the side.

Clean room, bed is amazing. The robes and sheets are soft, and the rainfall shower feels great. Down the street from downtown, has paid parking, but we parked on the street for free. The blackout shades are great too. Front desk attendance were super helpful and welcoming. The bar was lively and had great atmosphere. Jacuzzi and pool included. They even left this great lavender oil to help you sleep. Would return for sure!

Cute little area

We stayed at the Westin Annapolis for three nights with small (rambunctious!) children. The staff could not have been more friendly or accommodating. Freddo, our waiter, and John, the restaurant manager, went above and beyond in helping us to coordinate a last minute group dinner for 20 hotel guests. John even went out to get small chocolate treats when one of the younger kids was upset and crying. We ate many meals at Azure, and it was delicious every time. The rooms were nice and clean, the fitness area and the pool were good too. The shuttle to the downtown Annapolis area was very convenient. All in all, a great stay.

Truly one of the best all around hotel experiences. We’ve been coming for many years and we find the staff and food to always maintain an exceptional level. The fitness center could benefit with serious updating.

My husband and I stayed at the Annapolis, Marriott for our anniversary. We had champagne at the lobby bar which was very nice, and took the local shuttle into town. The rooms were clean, and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The only thing that I did not care for was the expensive parking choices. Other than that it is a terrific hotel.

Meet friends in Annapolis for drinks,dinner and fun. We stayed at the Westin. Our room was clean and the bartenders at the bar were nice and attentive. While getting ready to meet our friends for drinks the front desk sent up a complimentary cheese/fruit platter and beer for my birthday. How very thoughtful and unexpected. Made me feel special. We had a wonderful evening and a wonderful stay at the Westin.

A great hotel with great service. In the heart of the town, and to get to the water and shops, they have a jitney that runs every 20 minutes which is very convenient. We didnt have to wait at all to get where we were headed. Will definitely stay again.

The lobby is nice!

This hotel has exceptional service and activities. With a shuttle to and from the downtown Annapolis/Naval Academy area, it is truly a fun place to stay. You can park your car and relax or go to the malls, shops and restaurants a close walk or short drive away. The rooms are exceptionally clean and the staff is very professional. There are nice restaurants and amenities within walking distance and nice strolls down quaint streets. The beds are heavenly and in the evening, the bartender is fun and experienced and can make a mean cherry coke or a beautiful martini. There is a pool and a work-out area and both are kept neat and clean. There wasnt an outdoor pool, which would have meant I would never have left the hotel area, so that is probably a good thing. A good place to land for business and even better place for a weekend adventure.

Hotel has a lovely lobby and the staff at the front desk were very welcoming. Our room on 2nd floor was very clean and quiet. Bathroom nice, with big thick bath towels. Plenty of room around sink for toiletries. Just wish hotels would put up towel bars to hang the bath towels. Bed very comfortable; just wish they didn’t use feather pillows. Hotel could use better signage directing people where to drive to front entrance where there is valet parking. GPS directed us to the property but to a parking garage seemingly attached to hotel which was a public garage, charging by the hour. So I had to move the car after putting my bags in the room. Yes

Upon check in, the reception personnel who helped, basically gave me room key, and sparse details about the hotel in general. When asked how to access the Circulator shuttle, he referred me quickly to some app I could download on my phone. I have stayed in some lovely hotels,specifically The Fairmount Seattle and believe the re eption staff spent nearly 5 minutes going over. Everything the hotel offers before sendin me off to my room, and I had indicated I had been a guest at the hotel before. They just Could Not do enough to help.Next the cot I hD ordered to be installed in the room was not delivered until nearly 8:30 at night, after 2 phone calls to the front desk. Then the next morning, the handle for shower / water fell off as I was attempting to shower and a call had to be made for someone to come and fix. Finally, on the morning as I was preparing to leave the vinyl shade on one of the windows fell completely off and onto the floor as I was trying to raise it. This all occurred in the junior suite room 540. On the upside the view of the circle and West Street from this too. Was lovely, and our room service breakfast was delicious. I feel that this particular property needs some work.

Me and my Fiancé at the time checked in on the night of 12/23. We originally booked a king city view room. Upon entering the room- it was not up to par at all, scuff marks on the bed, water marks on the furniture and a water bottle on the floor. It’s like the room was not cleaned at all.I went downstairs and the gentleman Reginald I believe assisted me I informed him we would be getting married the next day and the room just wasn’t up to par and he advised to go back and pack my luggage up.Reginald came to grab our things and took us to our next room which- turned out to be the Presidential Suite. I was stunned lol. It was really the best upgrade and made the stay ten times better I couldn’t believe it. We had champagne and strawberries delivered to our room it was great.The next morning started off a disaster for us because the court house ended up being closed even though I triple checked and called to ensure they were taking Ceremonies on Christmas Eve lol. I frantically called and got an officiant in Anne Arundel county and then I asked Joey if we could extend our visit just until the afternoon so we can get married in our suite. Joey extended our visit until 5pm! I mean this service was so incredible I was crying by how easy it was. It made my wedding so much better! More intimate and even though it was in the hotel it was memorable and me and my Husband will be joining probably every anniversary just because of this. It was truly a dream come true.Thank you so much for everything !

My husband and I stayed at the Westin Annapolis to attend a wedding. During our 2 night stay, our room was never made up. No towels or anything. I had to call at 11pm when we returned to the room to ask for towels and water. Also, my safe was not working. I called and was assured someone would come up. Nobody showed up and I needed to carry my jewelry with me the rest of the weekend.

Great hotel. Blackout curtains in the rooms are a godsend. Food at the bar is surprisingly good. Atmosphere is upscale, but inviting. Bartenders are quick with a drink and make them right. Plenty of conference space, and excellent facilities.

Booked a city view room for my wedding night about a month and a half prior to my stay. Arrived at the location the day of and was told that they could not accommodate my wife and I at the location. Stated that they had booked another room at a different hotel about 5 miles away that had a lovely view of Rt 50 as opposed to that of west street. Elected to take my business elsewhere. Extremely disappointed that I was not notified in advance. I truly understand that renovations are needed, and would have not had a problem at all had a simple message or phone call had been sent. Felt very scammed during the experience.

The Westin Annapolis is located very close to an adorable downtown area. There are lots of bars and shopping within walking distance. The hotel itself is clean, well maintained, and has a wonderful staff that are ready to make your experience a great one. I travel for business in Bowie, but I always stay at this hotel even though their are other options closer to our office. The hotel staff, cleanliness, amenities and location make it worth every penny.

Comfy beds, clean rooms and a quiet stay.

We splurged a bit and stayed at a larger room at the Westin. A bit pricey. I was surprised to find the room a bit dated and worn. We anticipated a great view of the town, but of the two windows, only one shade and curtain worked. The hotel did attempt a repair, but the curtain (blackout) still would not close.The fridge was a bummer, too noisy. They changed that out for us.The work space for computer and such seemed worn, the table looked like it was painted over.Breakfast is good there, but extremely expensive.Parking is very difficult, it would be a great help if management would do a better job as how to navigate up from the garage to the lobby after you first park there. Signage is very poor in the garage(s) The saving factor is the staff who are extremely friendly and serious about what they do.Overall, a nice looking Hotel, but way too much money for what you recieve in return. we will try another place next time.

A pleasure to stay every time. The beds are so comfortable, rooms are spacious. I appreciate the gym with apples and nice touches like fruit infused water available in reception.

I stayed here for the Annapolis Ten Mile Run (only half a mile to the Stadium) so location was the most important thing. Its a lovely hotel and the linens are really fresh and clean. Always get a good nights sleep here. My only question is why is there no concierge at this property?

The Westin Annapolis is lovely and in a good location, however reservations need to be more thorough. They should check in someone by name only, otherwise they give rooms out to people with same name. On the upside, I called a few days ahead to let the special events staff know that we had dietary restrictions and the chef was terrific on 7/20 taking care of our family member.

My family and I enjoyed every second of our stay. Staff was friendly and courteous. Food was delicious. The bartender made sure they put on the NY Islander game for us. We will definitely recommend.

The Westin is a clean, friendly, and hospitable hotel that enables you to enjoy Annapolis at its finest. The shuttle service provided directly outside the hotel is an excellent mode of transportation to see the city sights. The restaurants adjacent to the hotel are excellent. The staff is always professional and easy to communicate with during every stay we have been to the Westin.

Top notch service by staff to accommodate me and my family. Staff members were always smiling and friendly. The location was great to get to and from Navy Marine Corps stadium as well as downtown Annapolis easily. The fitness center and pool were good. High speed internet speed and reliability excellent.

My wife and I were worried wed have limited options when we wanted to take our dog with us for a quick trip to Annapolis. Fortunately, we didnt have to settle when we found the Westin would welcome the lot of us.The whole experience was positive. The 800 number reservations staff were helpful, humorous, and polite. They called the hotel directly to ensure thered be no surprises when we we showed up with our Chocolate Lab, saving me the extra phone call.We cant imagine how anyone could give a better first impression at the hotel itself than Thomas out front. Like his colleagues on the phone, he was friendly, helpful, and funny without being over the top--just genuinely a super guy.The front desk staff and manager were just as welcoming, as was the bar and restaurant team.I had to get up for an early morning event. When I returned, Thomas recognized me before I even got out of the car, and suggested I leave it out front while I went up to gather my wife and the dog (he remembered us all).The only mild downside I could mention (so people believe this review is authentic) is the charge for wi-fi access. My work requires travel 2-3 times a month, and even budget hotels these days offer wi-fi for free.Regardless, well gladly stay here again and would recommend the hotel to anyone.

My daughter loved the room, the bathroom and the overall look of the hotel. She felt very fancy. The room was very clean, minus a stain on the sheets, which was dealt with I contacted the front desk. I only had to call once. Pool was smaller than we thought it would be, but my daughter made the best of it and I enjoyed the hot tub. Would stay again.

We just had an awesome experience with the Westin! We hosted a complimentary room block with them for our December wedding. Their sales agent was easy and delightful to work with! The hotel made it very easy for our guests to book rooms. Every guest who stayed said they had a very comfortable space and a really great experience with the hotel! We highly recommend this property! :)

The location was great. The Westin was in downtown Annapolis not tonight far from Main Street. The room was clean and spacious. Service was excellent! Whenever I inquired about anything with any of the staff they were all more than happy to be informative and helpful. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This past sat the 26 was my wifes and mine 34 year anniversary, and the staff at this hotel was terribleTHE FRONT DESK TRY TO MAKE ME SIGN A WAIVER FOR INTERRUPTIONAND RHEN WHEN I SAID NO THEY RAN MYBCARD 5 TIMES TO MAKE SURE I COULDNT CHECK IN CAUSE THE SECURITY FEATURE ON THECARD SHUT IT DOWN THEN THEY REFUSE THE RESTROOM , THEN STAFF HAD NO MASK NOR COMPKIANCE WITH COVID 19.So end the STORY IS WE NEVER STAYED AND HAD TO RETURN TO BALTIMORE.

Overall we enjoyed our brief stay at the Westin Annapolis. The valet service was easy and stress free, which is a big help in a city with tight streets and parking. Since we were attending a wedding that started at 1 pm offsite, it was nice that we were able to check in at noon. The room was large and and the bed comfortable. Our one gripe was the mini-fridge. We occaisonally bring our own sodas, water, etc and love it when a hotel has a mini fridge. The fridge in our room however not only appeared to not be running, but there was some greyish-white gunk of some sort built up in a few clumps inside the machine. While the rest of the room was visibily clean, it would have been nice to have not found this...and if we could have kept our drinks cold. Other than the fridge though we dont have any complaints. The blackout curtains allowed us to sleep late after a long evening of wedding celebration and checkout was easy. With 3 pm check out times, we didnt have to rush at all. A quick call to the valet number and our car was ready out front by the time we finished checkout.

The Westin Annapolis is a very regal hotel. Everything was modern and decorated well. I was only stopping in to visit a guest for a short time but my experience there was good. The valet guys outside were very nice and inside, the lobby was beautiful and the bar looked very nice as well. The rooms are also modern and well appointed with lots of space and great amenities. I definitely felt like I was in a very upscale hotel that seemed very well cared for.
