I rarely write reviews but the service in this hotel was so extraordinary that it deserves mention. From helping us have adjoining rooms with our daughters family, to facilitating early and late checkins, to even loaning us a personal lighter needed for a birthday candle, these staff members went above and beyond to help us have a good experience as hotel guests. Additionally, the hotel was very clean, reasonably updated, and convenient to Annapolis. Plus it was a good value! Highly recommend. Kudos to your staff!!

Friendly staff when checking in thats about it, very small outdated rooms, no microwaves, we get back from working in this 100°+ weather get back no water. Takes me minutes to get through the front desk, they tell me no water till 4pm we announced it, put things under the doors..me and none of my coworkers got THAT memo so were all uncomfortable in small rooms, hungry from no microwaves(we bring our own food) and dirty from no water to shower or wash hands or even use the dang bathroom, very very unsatisfied update water didnt come on till 4:55

Despite the hotels renovations, the new section is very nice and hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

Words cant describe the experience I had here and all the ladies who went out of their way to help a fellow traveler. The service was exponential and though the rooms are dated and the pool was closed, they are in the middle of a very large scale remodel and Im sure I will be impressed with it in the future.

I was asked multiple times, if I was guest to use the rest room. Then, when, I learned the toilet systems was poor, I said nope. I am not going to spend my money here. Every flush the water was more brown. I was taken back to place that had no running water.I stayed in a Marriott for 6 months and this one had the worst staff. The Maintenance staff told me to plunge the toilet myself it wasnt even my after toilet paper, it would not go down.I told him you paying me? He said Nope! I said Room and Bored? Nope he said again. Okay, see ya an no I dont want to be a guest here any longer.

I was visiting Fort Meade and had a stay at a friend’s place but later decided to google hotels near me and this was the first one that came up. I drove at this Courtyard by Marriott on Hercules road without a prior BOOKING and I asked if there was an available room, and the receptionist said YES. This was exactly 12:50 am Saturday morning and I checkout between 7-8 am Sunday morning. Unfortunately when I got my receipt they had charged me for 2 days totaling $291.54 which includes taxes and daily 129 fee when I spent less than 24 hour. They guys are thief and store my hard earn money with an excuse give that 12:50 Saturday is considered Friday. How in a world when I never had a booking prior. Y’all deserved a zero ⭐️ for this and NEVER in my life will I stepped foot at this place.

Positive: The staff is extremely friendly and quick to accommodate any needs you have. The rooms are extremely clean thermostat climate controlled and exceptionally comfortable beds. Rooms are very quiet you dont hear other guests. Negative: Nothing. Really great place to stay.

Positive: The location was central to all the places we wanted to visit. Negative: The amenities, like indoor pool and hot tub were shut down. We wish they had stated this on their website like many other places do.

Affordable & clean. Pretty decent if you are looking for a place to get some rest before hitting the road. If someone is in the hallway you can definitely hear them. Wasn’t really an issue because it’s not one of these cases where people are up all night being loud.

Really enjoyed my week long stay here. I was on the first floor and I didn’t hear any noise from the room above me or the room besides me unlike other hotels that have thin walls. The bed was really comfy, there was a sofa to sit on with a coffee table, and a really big tv with lots of cable channels and it even had YouTube which I used a lot. They’re one of the few hotels that actually do room cleaning which is such a rarity these days. They also serve beer until 2am which is so nice and they have snacks for sale 24/7. The best thing is their small restaurant they serve an amazing breakfast and sell Starbucks coffee which I went to every morning; the barista was super cute lol! There’s a nice courtyard where you can sit down and get some sun which I loved. The staff was all super respectful and polite. My only complaint is that there wasn’t a microwave in the room and I had bought some meals I was going to heat up but I had to throw them away but other than that the place was excellent. Their wifi is also really good.

Well where to start..... HALF of the hotel is closed off the front of the hotel is town down, there is no pool nor jacuzzi but yet charge with these amenities included in the prices, my key or lock whichever didnt work about 5 times during my 2 day stay and the one lady working at the front whom has the worst attitude if I remembered her name I would include it.. what a wast there is a hotel in the same parking lot with an OPEN outdoor swimming pool and they have food actually breakfast for purchase in the morning.. Shame they charge for things they dont even have

Old and dated. So I got the room for a very good price but how expensive is it to put in a usb charger? How about more than one power socket or how about the ONLY socket not placed on a light fixture that won’t allow an adaptor with more sockets/usb charger???? Like seriously it looks like 1970 but everyone staying here uses technology adapt a little. 🙄

Very clean, private and I loved having the attached balcony. We stayed the weekend, there are very good restaurants around the hotel.

This hotel stay was terrible. It began upon checking in, around midnight on Thursday. The lone woman running the front desk just did not know what she was doing. She ran my credit card for an amount that I did not understand. She told me it was for incidentals, but $341.44 for 5 nights was excessive considering she told the man ahead of me it was $40 a night. I requested an itemization, which she could not provide. She attempted to text and call a manager, who was unavailable. Then she actually suggested we remain in the lobby until 12:30 AM until the manager arrived. This was ludicrous and I said so. Before we finished checking in, the man who checked in ahead of us returned to the lobby to report a plunger sitting on top of the bathroom sink vanity, dirty towels, and generally just not a cleaned room ready for the next guest. After work Friday I then had to spend time speaking with a manager, Melody, for an explanation of the charge from the night before. Later I personally figured out that the charge was the rest of the money owed after my initial deposit upon booking, but at the time even Melody could not provide an explanation, and simply told me that the charge is more than what we would like to see. This was perplexing. She told me she took my credit card off the account so no additional charges could be made. At that time I also requested housekeeping for Sunday as we would be gone all day, and I learned from a past experience at a Marriott property in April that Covid demands scheduled housekeeping. I saw her type some things into the computer and she said everything was taken care of. Fast forward to Sunday at 5pm when we arrive back at the room. Housekeeping had not been there. This was exactly the same situation from back in April (different state, different hotel chain, same problem!). Called down to the front desk who (again, I cannot believe the similarities) told me housekeeping was gone for the day, and would I like housekeeping on Tuesday, and the housekeeping manager was not in until Tuesday and only that person can assign housekeeping. Unreal. I was very upset and informed the woman that no, I did not want housekeeping on Tuesday as A) I had specifically requested it for Sunday 48 hours prior, and B) I was leaving on Monday. I was told I would receive a discounted rate for Sunday due to the error. Once again, just like at the Fairfield in Florida, I hauled my towels and sheets downstairs to replace them. The woman at the front desk actually had the audacity to request that I bring them into their laundry room past the lobby and down the hall! Absolutely unreal. I declined and dropped everything at the front desk (just as Fairfield had requested), took my clean items, and went upstairs and provided my own housekeeping (again, after having been up since 2:30 AM). Finally, on Monday upon check out, we discovered that our credit card had actually been charged $290.00 PER NIGHT in incidentals (again, the cc had supposedly been removed from our account and yet I found 5 different charges of $290 on the card on Monday). We were told the charges would come off in 3-5 business days so I am monitoring the situation closely. We were not given a discounted rate for Sunday, but I couldnt be bothered to fight it as I dont even know if Ill be charged less than $2000 for my stay at this point. Additional notes: dirty room carpet leaves your feet black and the tread on the treadmill came clean off and was laying on the gym floor. Dont risk it and stay at the hotel next door (Hyatt I believe).

Property is very outdated, and room was not well cleaned. The bathroom sink drain did not work (standing water in seconds which took forever to drain). The staff at the front desk were very pleasant, but the rest of the experience was not great. Ive been to much better Courtyards.

Rachelle was fabulous! Love the courtyard and sliding glass doors. Love the balcony, just wish it was no smoking. The smoke blows into other peoples rooms trying to enjoy the fresh air.

Nice place very comfortable. Obviously, because of COVID Breakfast Buffet was limited to muffins and premade sausage egg and cheese biscuits. The restrooms need some updating and someone on the floor was smoking pot.

All types of issues. Internet slow. Had to buy premium internet at $4.95 per day. Required tech company to call me to input my ISP so I could use laptop in my room. 2. Problem with hot water. Not hot enough. Pressure low. Even full hot was not too hot to stand in. 3. Prices in lobby were outrageous. Charging $3.75 for a Pepsi is just treating your customers with disrespect. Holiday Inns charge $2.00 and still make a profit. 4. Take away breakfast does not include a cup of coffee for customers. Have to pay extra for coffee. 5. No microwaves in the rooms. 6. Pool not working due to COVID, even though other hotels pools are open, theatres are open, restaurants are open. Using COVID as an excuse. Staff was friendly. Lobby was clean and inviting. Rooms clean and nice. Comfortable beds. Fix the 6 issues and youll be a place Id want to stay again!

The room decor is quite dated. Some spaces in the common areas (elevator for example) were musty/drafty. However, the facility is very clean. Rooms were clean and especially the bathroom. Its nice that the rooms have balconys to allow in fresh air.

Its not tht the place was dirty!! I just didnt enjoy not being able to watch nething on TV bcs the cable wouldnt come in, and my husband abt got burnt by the shower water!! It was so hot and wouldnt get cooler. The faucet would go to cold but no cold water would come out. Then I understand tht they cant have the Bistro opened bcs of the Corona virus but the only thing tht I could get for the breakfast was coffee, juice, yogurt, or a muffin!! To me tht isnt enough for the price tht I pay per night!!

Spend a few bucks & stay elsewhere. This is a Baymont at best!Paper thin walls. Doors slam from 5:30 until you leave. You can hear entire hallway & other floors leaving, talking etc.

I frequently visit Annapolis and have stayed at the Courtyard Marriott a few times. I have always found the staff to be wonderful and the rooms comfortable. In addition, the location is perfect for my needs. On my most recent stay, I was not disappointed. We checked in late (after 10PM on Saturday, 10/5). It was a busy night because there were several events in the Annapolis area that weekend. Although there was a lot going on, Valarie at the front desk greeted us warmly and got us settled in our rooms quickly. A short while later, we returned to the lobby and Valarie gave us information about a few things in the area. We found her to be professional, friendly and helpful. Valarie and other staff members like her are the reason we return to this property time and again while visiting Annapolis.

The room was great. It was clean, spacious and came with a balcony. My only turn off was the restaurant. They did not have many of the menu items. I had to settle for what was in stock. The other issue was the evening staff at the restaurant was rude. She had an attitude when I came down to order. At the price I paid to stay, I expect a better quality of service.

Check in was easy and the woman at the desk was very friendly and professional. Lobby and hallways were clean nothing looked like it wasn’t being up kept. Got to the room and the room was clean and smelled good. Tv didn’t have many channels but the bed was comfortable. I either go places myself or with my son so I’m always very skeptical on where to stay. I felt safe here it was a welcoming environment that made me comfortable. Only downfall was that when taking a shower you can hear when someone else turns their water on or off and the water in my shower would get very cold or very hot for a couple seconds until it adjusted back to warm. Altogether though it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely stay here again. Huge plus in my opinion that there’s a Starbucks in the lobby I was able to grab coffee and go back up to my room first thing in the morning without having to go anywhere.

I stayed at the Courtyard Annapolis while on family business in the area. I was extremely impressed with all aspects of this hotel as far a cleanliness, comfort of the bed and bedding, and how quiet the room was. It has a tastefully decorated lobby and has a bar just off the lobby that serves light fare. The service staff were exceptional - they saw I was really tired from my travels and had a hotel staff member take my luggage to my room for me and inquired about my nights stay the next day. I highly recommend this hotel.

Very disappointed ☹️. They have eliminated amenities and have not changed the price. You should not list that you have things available and are a part of the rate you pay then not provide them. In room coffee not provided, sumptuous breakfast not available, housekeeping not offered, nobpool no fitness center. Not what I was paying for.

Hotel rooms were large, clean, and with fast WiFi included. There was amenities available on-site. The parking lot is a little hard to navigate at night, but managable. The staff at the hotel was amazing, and extremely helpful. No complimentary breakfast or premade coffee in the lobby - available for purchase, however does not open until 7am.

We stayed here in Feb. Our room had no heat. We reported it to the front desk and were told they would fix it. When we returned to the room hours later it was obvious the heat was not fixed. No one from the hotel communicated this to us. When we asked, they told us it could not be fixed. They then moved us to a first floor room opposite the entrance door and next to the elevator. Certainly not an ideal location. The hotel did not appear to be fully booked. I was very disappointed by this stay. We have stayed here in the past and enjoyed it. After this, we will be staying at another hotel.

I enjoyed excellent service while staying at the Annapolis Courtyard. Every staff member I encountered from the front desk staff to the Bistro staff was very friendly and accommodating. Kudos to a top notch team.

I had to travel to Annapolis for a early doctors appointment and didnt want to drive early in the morning traffic. So, I elected to come the day before and stay over because the location was 8 minutes from my doctors appointment. The staff at this location greeted you the moment you came to the lobby, they were friendly, helpful, and very pleasant. Felice was the one that checked me in she was exceptional nice and very professional. Shenaqua was the staff that checked me out she too was exceptional very pleasant, friendly and professional. There was a maintenance guy on staff that assisted me because my hands was full, I apologize for forgetting his name, but he as well was nice, friendly and professional. My room was clean with all the amenities and the beds was so comfortable, soft and firm. I stayed on the third floor and it was quiet, you could not hear noise of any kind from the other rooms. I would recommend this Court Yard to any one coming in for a short or long stay.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice. Theyre what you expect from a well kept Courtyard Marriott. They have a nice pool, fitness center, and place to get breakfast in the morning.

I stay at this hotel on a regular basis and highly recommend it. The GM and her staff maintain the property at the highest levels and the service from the staff is excellent. You feel welcomed. They pay attention to your every need. The rooms are clean and well kept. I can stay anywhere in Annapolis, but I stay here time and time again.

The room was reasonably priced considering that my wife and I booked the hotel last minute. The accommodations were decent. However, the room had a strange layout. I guess things such as the bed, table, and couch were placed in positions that made the most of the space. Overall, it was a nice room located close to the pool which was a plus.The staff was the best part of our short stay. They were very friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this hotel due to its excellent service and proximity to other restaurants and shops.

Minor maintenance issues (leaky faucet) and staff not very friendly.

This is a very friendly Marriott that I’ve stayed in twice now. Everyone smiles and greets you and are quick to offer help. They will go out of their way to make your stay a nice one. I highly recommend this hotel.

We arrived earlier than expected. The staff from the front desk very understanding and friendly. The service personnel were professional. We were able to check in, while at the same time receiving great service. The room was very clean and more that adequate for our staying. Bathroom were clean and all the amenities were readily available. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any one, great hotel for the price.

Rooms were very clean and well appointed. The staff was courteous and attended to our needs. Front desk staff offered assistance in alternative directions to avoid traffic issues. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

Dated but under renovation

The room was clean and a good size. They had a sip and paint customer appreciation night, and it was awesome! We got to paint a picture and have wine, and it was so fun! I haven’t painted in 20 years. Thank you for the cool experience, and check out my buddy’s whack painting haha!!

I stayed at the Courtyard Marriot Annapolis for my friends wedding on August 24. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Except there was no water in the mini fridge and nobody answered the phone when I called at 6:30am dying of thirst. Called multiple times and no answer. Had to drink warm tap water from the bathroom sink.

It is an aging facility but still a nice hotel. Average clean rooms with nice beds, linens and pillows. Bathrooms are average. Overall its a decent but not spectacular value. Pool needed updating and supplies (no towels). Bistro pricing was high and food quality was sub-par. Its all reheat frozen food. Bistro staff was overworked and overwhelmed. Not far from Annapolis Mall and other shopping. Not close to downtown.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 3 days and it was really nice and peaceful getaway. No complaints from us. The gym doesnt have much but we made it work.

The Ladies behind front desk at the Entrance of Hotel were super nice; courteous; professional in every way; very helpful; warm & friendly too!. Always asked if I needed anything when I came in & went out. Loved every minute staying there. Cleaning people were nice also...helped me take some things to my room, because I dropped them In hall way & they did not have to offer. Met all my expectations & Good Experience with Personnel working there. I would not hesitate to recommend staying there to anyone I know & I am planning to go back when I can. The people staffing this Hotel are wonderful and extremely accommodating. They are friendly and very hard working. Even the Engineering men at this place will give a big wave of greeting and are happy to make you feel welcome. The rooms are extremely clean, beds so comfy and filled with everything you want and need. I highly recommend! I dont normally give 5 stars!

Nice and clean Marriott Hotel located near many restaurants and lots of shopping. Service was very friendly and the rooms were decent-sized with a balcony. The room was quiet and bed super comfy. I had a good night sleep feeling safe and secure. My king bed room overlooking the courtyard was very nice . The only downside is that food and beverages sold downstairs are on the expensive side. Overall, a nice and clean hotel for a reasonable price ... especially in Annapolis.

Very nice room, good location. The Bistro in the lobby was good after a long day of driving. The entire staff was exceptional, despite their computer system being down.

We wanted a fun gettaway for the kids spring break, they think half the fun is staying at a hotel. We found the staff welcoming. We had a king suite room that had a nice lay out with lots of space except for the bathroom which was a bit cozy. Accomodations were comfortable and clean. Our room had a mini fridge, microwave and single serve coffee maker. Plenty of seating for our family of 4.We picked the hotel for the pool and asked to be located next to the pool which was accommodated. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub all three days we were there, the kids loved it. We were a bit upsetting that we were not informed at check in that community swim lessons were in the pool on Thursdays until 6:30pm leaving our kids no room to swim. If we had been informed we would have planned our day differently.I really liked the look of the lobby, very modern with cool seating areas. The snack in the lobby market seemed way overpriced, even for convenience items. There is no continental/self serve breakfast, which I overlooked when booking, the boys were disappointed that they couldnt make their own waffles. The hotel is located near lots of restaurants and shops, a Chucky Cheese right down the street made our kids night. Its about 10-15 or so minutes to get into historic Annapolis, a pretty easy drive we made several times during our stay.

My home away from home. Always clean with 5 🌟 Sevice! Close location to everything especially RT 50! We do go anywhere else but MC Annapolis!

That staff are wonderful however the hotel is showing its age. The carpet, bathrooms,TVs, and furniture are very old by todays standards. I think Marriott is attempting to update this chain in the MDV area but it will take time. People with asthma or other breathing issues will want to choose another location with updated allergy friendly materials. This is not a concern for healthy people and it may end up being a bargain location do to its age.

Facilities and decor are poorly updated. Not at all up to the typical courtyard standard (which already isnt a top tier Marriott). But the staff was very good.

Great hotel quiet and clean

My wife and I stayed at the Courtyard Annapolis so that we could spend time with family who live in the area. This hotel was the perfect place for us to be. When arriving we were greeted by very friendly staff who assisted quickly with a room request for a balcony. Our room was comfortable and clean as was all areas of the hotel. We enjoyed an afternoon in the pool and spa and spent quiet evenings sitting on our balcony. Our room was serviced each day in a timely manner. We enjoyed the stay here and will return when we come back to see family in the future.

Being born and raised in Annapolis I was rather disappointed in this property. The lobby appears as updated, however the room we had was anything but. The only saving grace was that the cleanliness was excellent! Also, no continental or buffet breakfast limits options in the morning to those running short on time or unfamiliar with the area. A sandwich and coffe was insanely priced, but very good. Not worry of carrying the Marriot name - obviously was another brand in prior years although what slips my mind.

Beautiful room. Very comfortable. Loved the shampoo and other washes in the bathroom. The tiny porch was my favorite part!

The hotel was wonderful. The upgrade to an executive suite was appreciated. The exercise room was good. Strange setup with on remote control connecting to multiple TV monitors. Also strange the headphone jacks didnt work. Other than that, all equipment was in good shape.My only complaint was a consistent lack of representative availability at the front desk. I waited for several minutes, on more than one occasion, for help. After a representative appeared, they were always polite and helpful.

Really enjoyed the people and the service at this Marriott location. The rooms are typical of.what you expect of a Courtyard, kept clean with the usual amenities but it is the staff that makes this place shine. Special props to Leslie with her beautiful smile and graciousness for sharing her kindness and keeping my bags for me while I was in DC and to Marvia with security for sharing her awesome beat poetry. Love lives here. I will definitely be back.

From the moment we stepped into the lobby of the Annapolis Courtyard Marriott we were treated like royal family. Mikale greeted us at the front desk with a winning warm smile. Charron at the Bistro was very conversational and had a terrific smile, serving us breakfast even though we were a little late coming down from our room. Breakfast was great and of good quality. Room was comfortable and quiet. In town for a special anniversary dinner at Lewnes Steakhouse (highly recommended). As it was a few miles away from the center of town we used Lyft as our personal driver service ($8-10, well worth sparing the hassles of driving and finding a parking space). Annapolis Courtyard is my fave hospitality hotel.

The desk personnel were super friendly when we arrived and very helpful in providing shuttle information to the Military Bowl! They made a great first impression upon our arrival and set the tone for the whole stay! Great customer service!!

There were no benefits to being a member of Marriott family at this site. At check-in we were faced with a $14 bill for water(4-20oz bottles). When asked about a courtesy bottle in the room, I was told that the site doesn’t offer water to members. No free coffee either; however, hot chocolate was available. Several attempts to print a document at the business center were unsuccessful. Front desk staff shared that Internet Explorer was the only available browser. Fortunately, I was able to email the document to hotel staff and they printed it from their office area.Lastly, my request for a roll away bed was met with ‘we don’t have roll away beds here.’ I did receive an air mattress, but it took us to reconfigure the room to make it fit properly for the night.I wouldn’t recommend this particular Courtyard property to other members.

We went to Annapolis to view a couple of sailboats and stayed here. It was a very clean and quiet hotel. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Loved the free internet. The restaurant had a good breakfast but not included. The beds and pillows were very comfy. I would stay here again. I think the hotel is an older one but has been recently updated and nicely done.

My Aunt and Uncle were celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary so when we found it the date, we checked out hotels in the area and the Courtyard was a good price and deal so we made the reservation. We arrived right around 3 PM and were greeted and checked in quickly. Unpacked and enjoyed the pool to ourselves for a time. After heading out to dinner downtown, we got back and had an issue with the TV which was resolved quickly. I wasnt too happy with the location of our room which was next to the elevator and an entrance so we had some noise earlier in the morning and evening time but the hotel was crowded so decided to live with it. It was quiet during the night and the super comfortable beds made up for it as I slept great and I usually have a tough time adjusting to sleeping in a hotel. Only complaint was breakfast was not complimentary otherwise a nice stay

If your out of town or just wanna get away, Courtyard Marriott in Annapolis is the place for relaxation and peace and the Jacuzzi and pool is the best.

Very friendly staff. Beds are comfortable. During the week the pool is only open in the evenings which was a downfall. Lots of dining and shopping very close. Rooms were good.

This location has a wonderful staff - all very friendly and helpful. You cant help but appreciate a genuinely friendly vibe these days. The property has some age on it but its clean, quiet and safe. The lobby (however) area is bright, clean, new and inviting. The lobby is very appealing for a drink and some conversation. Plenty of current newspaper stacked and available to guests. Large HD TVs in corner lounge areas - semi-private. Helpful info on screens throughout the lobby.

Nice hotel, absolutely friendly staff and great amenities. About 15 min drive from the dock area. A great option to stay the night when visiting this beautiful city!

We went there to visit our friends who were staying put at the hotel and we happened to have a lunch in the restaurant. The food was good and service was decent. Nothing we could complain of, just that the variety of dishes could be more and rates a little more affordable.
