Been standing in the wait room for 10 mins. Seen several people that work here in the work area and walking back and forth outside. Not one has walked into the wait room to help me. Currently just standing at the counter right now. Even called here while standing and no one answered. Sucks for me cuz I can’t really go nowhere else because my tire is completely blown.

I brought a challenging job to them, well an exhaust install. This was out of their depth. I had to help reverse things and reinstall the exhaust that I came with. So even after that I still was charged.This place might be good for oil changes but any custom work might be a bit too challenging for them

This was my first time at this Midas, and I was very pleased with my experience. The manager (Jerry) gave me an honest estimate and some options for an oxygen sensor replacement, which I did appreciate. Also the mechanic put down paper on your vehicle by the pedals, and also plastic covering your seat to prevent from getting dirty (which most shops dont do). I will certainly be back for future service.

This is by far the best auto repair shop Ive ever been to. On our way to an Airbnb our car began to have a coolant issue and we immediately called Midas to see if they could fit us in. The staff was extremely friendly and told us they would be able to get to the car the same day (something we havent seen often in our experience). When we arrived the staff was very friendly, personable, and followed COVID precautions. They even offered to hold our coolers in the back room so they wouldnt be in the hot car. The staff got to our car sooner than expected and fixed the problem in half the time they projected. During this time, we watched multiple other customers come in and out of the facility with car problems. Almost all of them were able to be assisted the same day, and if not, had a scheduled time to come back to be seen right away. When we left the staff member even remembered our names and wished us a good trip. Highly recommend going to this location to get any work done on your car.

Went from 5 to 2 stars 6 months later because I took my car to the dealer for a new key. And apparently the 2 new tires Midas put on my car were very clearly the wrong size which is terrible for an AWD car. Original review “Easily the best car shop I have been to. Took my car here when my alternator broke and also needed a new rear brake pads and new rear tires so got those replaced as well. Friendly staff with excellent customer service, and they didnt try to sell me on problems I didnt have! Their pricing is also very honest; went in for a simple oil change (synthetic) and their price was generously below competitors. This is all after the seemingly free, baked-in 27-point inspection was accounted for! Will continue to take my business here when Im in a bind and cannot change it myself.

Feel like I won the lottery today! My regular oil change place keeps insisting I need new brakes, but I wanted a second opinion. Nope, my brakes still have “half their life” left in them. So grateful to Bob for his professionalism and courtesy. Replaced my air filter and gave me a heads up about some other issues they noted with absolutely NO pressure. Had problems with my muffler and brought it into Midas for a check in. Bob and Lee showed me the issue and shot me an optimal solution. They helped me out by ordering the part and the next day I dropped off my vehicle and Lee fixed it in 30 minutes. This place is very professional and does great work in a timely fashion. They have earned my patronage moving forward.

I have a 13 year old Lexus that I love, and have been on a quest to find a really good mechanic. I had been taking it to a former Lexus dealership mechanic that opened up his own place. He told me that I had a crack in my front exhaust, and since he couldnt repair it, I should take find a welder to do it. While he never showed me the crack, I had no reason to doubt him, since he wasnt making any profit from it. In my search for a place to weld my exhaust pipe, I found Jimmys Midas. Once my car was elevated, Jimmy called me in to see that there was no crack. He showed me the entire exhaust and we agreed that it was perfectly fine. While he could have pretended to fix it, and charge me for it, he was perfectly honest. Not only that, but I had a cracked tail light that I wanted fixed. I had the new light with me, and asked Jimmy if he would install it. He did so and didnt charge me anything.... said it was Christmas and left it at that. I never thought I would ever be able to write a favorable review for a car mechanic, but after my experience with Jimmys crew at Midas Annapolis, they have earned it. Well done, gentlemen.

Honest and extremely helpful. Helped to get my family home safely after I was told by 3 different shops that my breaks were fine, within the last 2000 miles. They werent and Im so glad I fell into this shop, Lee and Chris were honest and informative. Being a woman its hard to find a mechanic to trust. I feel like driving the 300 miles just to have all my work done from this shop in the future.

Service team is friendly, knowledgeable, and will do anything possible to make sure the job gets done right. Trustworthy and honest, not going to shake you down for unnecessary maintenance. Went in to have Midas (first customer) do a basic service on my daughters car. Not only were we able to schedule an appointment within hours, the rate was incredibly reasonable. Service Writer Chris M and Center Robert W. were informative, professional and friendly. There was no up-selling of services not required. The service was efficient, comprehensive and completed prior to the estimated finish time.This is especially unusual, especially if dealing with a female College student. Thank you for the good experience.

The staff definitely tried to take advantage of the fact that I’m a young woman with a supposedly limited knowledge of cars. They told me my brake pads were razor thin and that I should replace them with them—to the tune of $200+. I declined but they kept pressing me. I declined and left. Two months later, I went to my trusted mechanic and asked about my brake pads. He said I had months left on them.The staff at Midas also told me I had the wrong appointment time but that they could take me early. I checked my appointment confirmation email and I was in fact there on time. I do not appreciate being lied to or being accused as a liar.If only young women could get reliable service at the big-chain mechanics. Until then, I’ll stick with my trusted small-town mechanic who isn’t sexist.I will never go back to this Midas or any Midas.

The guys that work here are great. Quick turnaround, fair prices, quality work. Ive been here for several different types of maintenance and Im impressed every time. In my experience finding a mechanic that wont try to burn you with inflated prices or unnecessary recommendations is tough. If youre looking for reliable auto-work, and youre in AA county these are your guys.

I have taken my vehicles to Midas in Annapolis a number of times and I always feel like I get great service at a fair price. Everyone there is friendly and helpful and Lee know more about cars than anyone I’ve ever met. This is the only place I go for service and repairs.

Spectacular service. I picked up a screw in my tire one evening and managed to get home with it, but I needed it fixed before I left for work in the morning. I got to the store before they were technically open, prepared to wait in the parking lot, but the open sign was on, so I walked on in. They took my car back immediately and had my tire patched and ready to go in under 30 minutes. The patch was even free because Im a returning customer (had an oil change a couple months back). I will definitely be back here if I need anything in the future.

I have gone here twice for oil changes. The first time, they told me that I needed a new (larger) drain plug for my oil pan because the threads were worn out. I was suspicious, thinking they were just looking for an up-sale, but let them proceed. I asked them to leave me the old plug, and sure enough, they accidentally threw it away. When I was checking out, I asked Lee (manager) if they did the tire rotation, and he said they didt get a chance, but it would be fine until my next change. The next time, when checking in, I talked to the assistant manager and said to make sure they did the tire rotation. Once I came to pick it up, I confirmed with the assistant manager that the rotation had been done and he said yes. I walked out to see my truck and not only had the tires not been rotated (they are marked so I can tell), but the oil looked dirty when I checked it. I expressed my concerns with the assistant manager and they put my truck back up on the lift, after the guy that did the work admitted the rotation was not done, to complete the rotation. They never addressed my concerns about the oil looking dirty. I will never go back.

My exhaust on a jeep wrangler TJ was rattling, brought it into Midas on west st. The guys had it up on the lift and fixed it in 5 minutes and didnt charge me. Next time something big happens - this is the place Ill be bringing it back to. Seemed very nice and fair.

I was very pleased and happy with the whole experience of having my car fixed at Midas on west street, Annapolis. Right from the initial phone call (explaining the issue) to them handing me my keys a couple of hours later, I felt like I was dealing with professional, kind and knowledgable mechanics, including Bob. The respect they showed was greatly appreciated. Their diagnosis and work was done in a few hours. Pep Boys told me it would take them 3 days. I trust Midas with my car. They will be the only ones I use in the future. Best mechanics and well run business for sincere customer service, and trustworthy professional mechanics.

Had overheating issue with my vehicle. Vay was straight forward and informed me that a previous garage might not have accomplished the work they claimed. He took time to show me where the work should have been done and explained how it should have looked. I am thrilled with the service I received and will not only be back for other large jobs, but Vay has earned all of my business going forward! Job well done.

Amazing service. I had just walked out of the Pep Boys store next door, frustrated because they had told me I needed to wait 2-3 hours to plug a tire, even though I had called in before I arrived. So I left and went to Midas next door, they fixed it in less than 5 minutes and charged me nothing even after I insisted on paying. I will be sure to head over there for all future services to my car.

My daughter had her lights changed and an oil change for $150 bucks. Next time she visits I am so teaching her ho to do it herself. Rip-off.

I took my truck to this location to have the brakes serviced and get an oil change. I also needed to get a fuel regulator replaced. The staff was friendly and even gave my daughter a coloring book with crayons. They went above and beyond to help me get my truck in working order. The waiting room may not be the greatest, but I can overlook that if the staff is professional and my vehicle is fixed. The staff at Midas of Annapolis was great.

Safety & Fraud Alert.*I have allot of history with this location, so Ill begin at the beginning. Before my first major problem with them I was going to Midas for regular Oil Changes. Never had an issue, until I bought a Volvo and had brought it to them for an Oil Change and Tire Rotation. Everything seemed fine, till 5 days later while driving 70mph on Rte 97 South and my Driver side tire falls off causing me to spin around and coming to rest on the shoulder. Luckily no one was Hurt or Killed. But when I brought this up to Midas their response was that their was absolutely positively no way they could have been responsible. So the $2,500 my isuranance had to cover, and the $1,000 deductible and higher rates I had to cover.*After I had Steered clear of them for years (excuse the pun) I heard they were under new management, and my new office was within walking distance. So I decided to give the a try with Oil Changes on my Truck. I had used them for oil changes for about a year. I had a Knock Sensor that needed to be replaced ($1,000.....Which I found out later was too High) During the repair a Senior Mechanic and former Branch Manger, Instructed me after showing me a hand full of dirty oil, says my engine need a intake cleaning. Stating, since it was an older vehicle it was necessary and typical, what he didnt know was that since Ive had the vehicle I put a can of SeaFoam in every other Full Tank. But, I figured he knew better than me. So I had that done a month or two later. After looking at videos and what he told me about how much black smoke comes out I decided to watch the entire process from the Lobby. And wouldnt you know, the exhaust never changed one bit! How weird, Shows me a hand full of black oil, but it is completely clean coming out. When I called him out on it, I said wheres the black smoke? He just said it was weird and that was that. Ok, I let that one go with another $150 wasted on the Midas Experts.*Just after that I needed my Sway Bar, Links, & Bushings replaced....Which I was ready to do myself but it was getting into the winter and Im a wuss when working in the cold. So They just charged me ($200) for the Labor which I thought was Fair. A couple months later I hear this smacking noise under my truck, fearing something else needed replaced I started to inspect everything that was original and nothing was wrong. Went back and looked at the new repairs, and what do you know.... The Sway Bar mount has completely come off! Never have I heard this happening. When I looked closer, they destroyed the Bushings from Over tightening. None of the Bolts have Lock-Tite put on any threads of the Bolts (Lock-Tite is a glue to keep the bolts from backing out, All Shops put this on for safety).Right after Christmas I had my Oil Changed and Tires Rotated, then a couple months later Im hearing a rattling on my passenger side. So I brought it to the MIDAS EXPERTS again, and asked them to check my rear brakes, they said it wasnt the brakes and it was a Lug Nut that had fallen off and stuck in the Hub. They said no Charge, and as a Thank you....I came back with 2 bags of Fresh Bagels and Donuts and O.J.After all this I feel like a complete FOOL, oh sure let me go buy you donuts for screwing up my day, my vehicle, and my plans.I cant even tally up the Cost of what Ive incurred due to this establishment. The Initial Investments, the repair to those, the time Ive had to take off, the hike in insurance rates due to the accident, the stress, the personal humiliation.After speaking with multiple Managers, Owners, and Representatives.....the only thing they can offer is minimizing the issues and redirecting any responsibility to anything they can. This establishment has absolutely No Pride in their work or for themselves, they come to work for a paycheck and nothing more. The Most Dangerous and potentially Deadly thing ANYONE does, is Drive a Vehicle...... would you Trust your LIFE with Midas?

Went their for an oil change, they try to tell me my tires were getting dangerously weared down, using whatever calculations they told me that it was absolutely time for new tires...3months later at a diff place, I ask someone if I needed new tires, he looks at them for about 20 seconds and says no there looking pretty good. Thats honesty.

Usual it seems you drive in with end of tail pipe falling off and you drive out with all new exhaust ..2003 Honda Element EX 80,000 miles in excellent shape ..original exhaust ,rear tailpipe rusted off muffler..While on hoist looked at vehicle could see two mufflers on edge of going no holes yet rusted out joint at converter heat shield off years ago ..So temp weld n fix quoted at $300. who knows how long will last ? Replacement of all exhaust from converter back 1st quote $1200. Do your homework buying exhaust is like buying used car...you need to negotiate..Went in with diagram and online price for reference..Muffler only online $317.05 Midas quote $417. * 70 labor *$550. Eventually after some further pricing they were able to supply entire exhaust from converter back for $534. 273 labor ..Dont forget to bring your online coupons as well ...Final price paid $798. Service is prompt parts in stock job done within 2 hrs..Waited there pleasant waiting room with Keurig coffee. As with any auto place you need to know your stuff before going into the place ...I have had to return 3x on my Dodge Van as the replacement Midas muffler rusted out in 3 yrs ...Luckily the muffle only was covered under warranty..I still had to pay the labor charges. I have had 3 vehicles exhaust systems replaced at this location over the last 5 yrs ..I would recommend speak with Chris or Rick ..They have years of experience in the business....

Fair price, quick service

I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation for the 4:00-6:00 PM time slot and dropped my car off right at 4:00 PM. At 5:15P M I was called and told my car was ready and I was able to pick it up by 5:30 -- with no attempts by Midas to tack on unnecessary services.

Staff friendly and helpful, as for the girl below... She was probably the problem.
