This was my first visit to Meineke on Stadium in A2 after a friend recommended them to me. I do most of my own repair work but needed some help with an exhaust repair. Butch and Pete are real car guys and run a great shop. Their entire staff was courteous and there to help. The repair was done well, quickly and for a reasonable price. Ill be back.

Pete took care of me. Very friendly (he wont shut up!). The guy really knows what hes doing. Saved me a ton of money for an exhaust pipe repair. He said I can bring it back for routine maintenance instead of going to the expensive dealership. I think I will.

I brought my car to them after I broke down on 94. Everyone was super helpful and friendly. The mechanic explained to me the issue on my car in language that I could easily understand and had a great action plan for fixing what was wrong. I had an awesome experience here and would definitely recommend! :)

These guys went above and beyond in helping me get my 16 yr old car ready for a long trip. They saved me $900 on an unnecessary a/c repair recommended by another repair shop. They performed the work quickly. Highly recommend and will be going here for future work.

Additionally, while I sat and waited for my vehicle to be completed, I witnessed them (free of charge), complete a fairly thorough check on another customers vehicle and provide helpful feedback on how much they should sell for etc. Coming from a family of mechanics, it was a great example of caring for and doing what’s best for the customer over the business. After years of owning multiple vehicles I have become very selective when it comes to work on my cars. Most repairs from brakes, shocks, lights, electrical work, to fluid changes, I complete myself not due to cost but because nobody has ever treated or valued my cars as I do. After numerous issues I absolutely will not visit places like Firestone or Belle Tire and I am even hesitant to ever return to dealerships for the lack value and sincerity of work that is ever diagnosed or completed. That being said, a few months ago I took a previous older car of mine to Meineke, a 2003 Honda CRV. I brought it in for a simple oil change which was completely quickly however, I was more impressed with the time and care that was taken by Ken and his team to further inspect the vehicle out of courtesy for me, the owner. This gesture prompted me to come back months later, this time with my baby the mustang. I am so particular about the mustang that I remove the wheels and take them to a shop because I will not let the car be in a shop as nobody will treat the car with the same care that I do. Long story short, a few months later I now have brought in my mustang multiple times to Ken at Meineke. From simple things like service quotes and performance upgrades to swapping my exhaust and even talking about cars, Ken continually takes care of me. He communicates well, is honest, thorough, and truly takes pride in his work. I will only take my cars to Meineke if I ever need anything done. If you care about your car and want a great value and even better service you have found the right place. I am moving to Canton in a few months but will keep making the trip back to Ann Arbor when needed for friendly service I can always trust. Thanks guys!

This place is great! They worked very hard to find out how to fix my heat and even spent quite a bit of time on the phone with Mazda to find out information with my air conditioning. They have great customer service and explained everything they were doing in a way that a young girl could understand which I’ve never had from a shop before. They went above and beyond to help me out and I am so grateful. I will definitely be bringing my car back!

Im a regular customer and I have had great service in the past with an older vehicles with more complex needs and now with a newer car for great maintenance needs.

My check engine light came on and so I called over to Ann Arbor location of Meineke. The mechanic I spoke to, Pete, told me to bring it over right away. They were all so nice and really tried to give me the best service without paying an absurd amount. They were great!

Fast service, knowledgeable technicians, and the staff were super nice! In and out in less than 45 minutes for a full service oil change. Can’t beat that.

My experience at this Meineke has been so great for the last 2 years. I needed an oil change yesterday and also asked for an inspection to make sure everything else was okay because I know nothing about cars. David was so helpful and knowledgeable. They checked my car for any issues and couldn’t find anything needing immediate repair, and David gave me a heads up on some future needs. I used points for my oil change which I got for free and only paid for labor and taxes. Thank you David and this Meineke team for the great job so far!

Oil change was supposed to include tire rotation which was blown off by staff performing the oil change. At my request another staff rotated the tires after inspecting them.

Id recommend if you have a BMW, the owner and is son have several of their own and are familiar with the cars.

This place is fantastic! Brought my parents car in for a free brake inspection. Everyone from the person answering the phone, to the counter person, to the mechanic were kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Price fair. I have been looking for an honest, affordable, trustworthy place for my family the have their cars serviced. I think we found it!

On 12/4/20 I had meinke replace the flex pipes on my VW passat. Two months later they began to make noise again. I called them and they immediately got me in and took care of the problem. They are very professional and do good work. For those who don’t know what flex pipes are you need to know they are very difficult to access. I recommend this business

I took my Mini Cooper here for a free AC check and the tech was super friendly and helpful! He checked out my AC system, let me know what I could do for more efficiency (I informed him I usually do my own repairs) and even made some suggestions and did some testing on an unrelated check engine light that I had while it was there! Highly recommend!

Scammers. They tried to upsell transmission oil which I replaced 2000 miles back. Also, overly priced. They charged me $25 for tyre repair which is $10 almost at every location. I would never go back to this place.

I took my car in to get a warranty repair in an oil change. I was happy with the initial repair but I had an issue come up in the year since. They fix the repair quickly and I was very happy with the price. I will return to Meinicke for future car repairs.

With so many hard-to-trust car maintenance spots out there, I am grateful to have this Meineke in my area. Other places overbill for labor or parts, exaggerate issues to convince you to get unnecessary work done, or invent expensive discoveries to upsell during the repair.But Meineke is good people, looking to find you a deal, and come up with creative solutions to get the job done well, within your budget, and understanding potential tradeoffs.

Went in for a flat repair here some weeks ago. Chase was the person to help me. He was by himself (I think someone called in sick), being both at the front desk – setting everything up with customers, and working at the back doing the actual job. In that situation, I would say he had every right to be frustrated with everything. Yet, he was still courteous and patient with everyone.He helped as fast as he could. In the middle of it all, apologized bunch of times for me having to wait (again, completely unnecessary because of him only there). In the end, it was a great job, and he did it fast. I previously went to two other shops for that same problem, and they couldn’t fix it right; tire still leaked air. It’s been probably about a month, and no issues.Thanks Chase!

They were qui,k and efficient, and even reduced the bill when one suggested service became unnecessary. Appreciate their honesty and professionalism. They wore masks, and mentioned that they would wipe down the car after working on it, though I dont know if that happened.

The girl at the front desk is incredibly rude. There are plenty of other places in/around Ann Arbor to go that employ nice and honest people. Also the front lobby smells like straight up toxins so don’t plan on waiting around for your 1 hour oil change that will cost an arm and a leg or you’ll end up smelling for hours.

The guys at Meineke did a great job. They gave an honest appraisal of the work that needed to be done and didn’t come up with any surprises. They completed the needed repairs and had the car ready to go as promised. We will definitely use them again and recommend them.

I initially chose this location because of their hours; I work night shift and they open at 07:30 during the week. I’m so glad that I chose this location - the staff is super friendly, laid back, and professional. There is no pressure whatsoever - which is one of the many great things about the staff at this location. Inside the waiting room is super clean, also lending to a laid back vibe (and comfortable chairs which are welcome after a long night shift.) Inside the shop is clean and well maintained. It’s easy to see that the staff take pride in what they do, and I hope to be a customer here for many years to come. You and your vehicle will leave happy.

The mechanics used an electronic system to show me and explain everything wrong with my car, using laymans terms and explaining how everything got the way it did. This is my favorite auto repair shop. The staff is very knowledgeable and professionals. They show you exactly what the problem is/are and whats repairs are required. They are great! I needed to change my tires and I had just arrived from Florida. I went to a shop on Broadway and they charged me triple what I paid here. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Theyre prices are reasonable. Ken is a great manager he is the first person I met that truly explains what is being done on your car. Great customer service overall. As long as Im in Ann Arbor or near by I will not go anywhere else.

I started coming to Meineke when it first opened on W Stadium. I was impressed by how clean, friendly, and inviting the place and staff are. There is a nice waiting area with coffee, water, and treats, and the staff remembers me every time I walk in, which is incredibly rare to find in an auto repair shop these days. The deals area also great - oil changes come with roadside assistance.Above all, I always feel welcomed here, and have not been concerned once that they were trying to take advantage of me. Their techs are top notch, and will take you into the garage to show you what they find in their check-ups. They also always go over every detail and price point with you, which is super reassuring. Ill never go anywhere else for car trouble in Ann Arbor. This place is the best.

Chase and Zander were extremely professional and expedient. We came in having just rolled over a razor blade and slashed our tire. They diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes and were clear and concise when running us through our options. Would absolutely visit them again.

Up until now I have not had any issues with Meineke. I had been going to this one in particular for 2 years for everything needed for my cars. Last August I got my older Camaro oil change for a big move. The car was put into storage after thr move. I went to get my oil change this past week to find out a over plug was put on my car. When they remove it it will strip the plug where the oil is removed. This is a $200 fix has the plug needs to be replaced now. When the oil was last changed an meineke I was never told this. This is a car that was well taken of care or, almost a classic with all original parts. I am very disappointed in what was done and the lack of information.

My husband found this gem on Veterans Day for a free oil change. The staff are honest trustworthy people. I was told somewhere else that I needed new brakes on my car with 60k miles, Ken and his staff reassured us that we were fine and safe with what is going on. Since then we have been back for oil changes, brakes on my husbands car-which they do a military discount ❤️ and more. It is so important to have a place you trust with your vehicles and we found it.

Jack, the owner, has such integrity to what his vision is of an auto service station and ensures that whatever he services is not only done correctly, efficiently, yet fair in price! I, fortunately, was told by a Honda dealership service representative that they would have to charge me $2500 for a new muffler and suggested I go to Meineke on Stadium. I was able to get my muffler, brakes, an alignment, air conditioning fixed, and all new tires for half the amount of what was quoted for my muffler! Thank you Honda for providing me the service that is always professional, but most of all for caring enough to guide me to Jack at Meineke on Stadium! In my estimation everyone won on this experience. Plus the bathroom is cleaner then most restaurants!

Meineke is by far the best car shop I’ve been to. Today I went in with a new turn signal bulb and asked if they could change it for me and they did it for no charge! Every time I go there it’s a great experience! The staff is very knowledgeable and they never take advantage of you. They always do what’s best for the customer!

Warning!!! Do Not Go To This machanic!!! Ken will rip you off!!! I was fooled thinking this young man was a hard working smart individual . I was totally wrong!!! This place is a graveyard for your car!!!! This place used to be decent ! Not now! Ken is in the business to sale cars that he’s soaked the pockets of unsuspecting customers with his young innocent-like smile. But once you’re in his spider web , you’re done! I’m really disappointed that I let my guard down, because I thought Ken was honest and hard working. He’s hard working at sabotaging your car. Ken Livingston is a fox impersonating a mechanic. Unfortunately it’s better to go with the dealerships knowing you’ll pay more but you won’t get bamboozled hoodwinked ripped off by this young man. I would urge you to take your automobile somewhere else. Brought my BMW here with no brakes, insisting that there was a problem with it and to be careful... I received a phone call the next day telling me they couldnt fix it and when I went to pick it up it had front end damage as if it had rolled into the wall across from their bay doors... I came back with jack stands and replaced the brake booster and brake master cylinder on the street in front of the meineke lol. Do not take your car here!...Obviously, I refused service, after I was lied to about my car being clearly rolled into a wall! Modern mechanics are not difficult. Its not about the job being done because again, I did it on the street! Its about the integrity of the shop. Bad business 101. There are dozens of other reputable mechanics in A2.

This shop is great! Jack and Sarah are super honest people and have never tried to upsell me or do unnecessary work. They even gave me a better price on parts when their supplier charged them more than they felt the cost should be... who does that?! Will definitely be going back. Be sure to make an appointment as they get pretty busy especially on Saturdays.

I went to Midas to get an oil change for my car 40 minutes before closing time, I walked in to a very rude older woman denying doing my oil change with 40 minutes until closing. I went next door to Meineke and was greeted by extremely friendly staff, they were very helpful and I felt very comfortable at this shop. From now on this will be the only shop I bring my cars. Highly recommend! :)

I have a 2010 Ford Escape and Xander did a great job of fixing a minor but irritating problem for me today. Let me explain the details of the service below.My car had developed a crackling sound, which grew louder over time. I myself thought that the noise came from under the hood, either from the engine or the fan but could not find it on my own. So, I merely attributed it to an aging engine and continued driving with the condition. I have driven it with this irritatingly loud sound for two to three years now.Finally I took it to this Meineke and Xander pulled it in for an inspection. With the car up on the hoist he showed me where it was coming from. Apparently, two separate pieces of the Exhaust Tail-pipe had become lose and were rattling. He explained that when it was new, they were welded together around the rim where one went into the other but that weld has fallen off. He suggested welding them back again - which would take about an hour or slightly more based on how free he was. I agreed to the repair. He also showed me around other parts like the fuel line and a few other things and said that they were all right and had no leaks anywhere.Xander told me after the repair that he had done four or five similar welds in the same Ford Model and he was sure mine would work. He had also gotten his job checked by a senior mechanic. He asked me to come back if the weld fell off and the noise returned, saying that he would fix it for free.To my great surprise, when I drove back home from the shop I found that the noise I had been hearing had completely disappeared! The engine sounded like real - almost new again! I was so surprised and happy that I called Xander immediately and thanked him for diagnosing the problem and fixing it. I wish I had done that three years ago but I simply didnt know!People give Star Ratings and Reviews on their personal experience. Though most reviews are 5-Stars on this page, I did see a few 1 & 2 Stars as well. I have to honestly state that the service I received was top-notch and so was the courteous behavior of everyone.Yes - I would take my car back at this Meineke again and recommend the same to others.

If you need a easy job come here like a oil change, but dont expect them to do anything to big or you will have headaches.
