My daughter went in for a manicure and was not happy with the results. They were uneven, crooked, and not up to normal standards. She went back in to talk to them about a refund (because she did not have the time before work for them to fix). They told her to sit down and she said no I don’t have time to get them fixed and they said sit down and then proceeded to cut all of the acrylic nails off her hand including some tips of her fingers. When I called to ask why they did that and they said she wanted a refund so we took the nails back. I have never had this experience before anywhere. My daughter goes all the time and never complains about how they are done. Great start to her senior year tomorrow.

Everyone is super friendly, respectful, and kid friendly! I always enjoy my time and nails look just like the name of the salon Flawless!!! Ive been going now for half a year and I think I found my forever nail salon 💕!!! 10/10 recommended!!!

**Update: Don redid my nails. He took ownership and understood my dissatisfaction. But he also was so friendly the entire time! I felt welcome and heard. He went above and beyond and even gave me a gift card AFTER he fixed my nails. I will definitely be going back. Don not only corrected my nails but also made me feel good about coming forward. He was so apologetic and so kind. My nails look so great now and I couldn’t be happier they offered to have me back in and show them they can do better!The pedicure was fine other than the fact the water was cold and I asked them to make it hot and then it went to luke warm and my cuticles were cut to the point of bleeding and STUNG when the clear gel went on. Now for my nails- they fan out at the top like wide as hell, my fiancé doesn’t notice little flaws on my nails but he noticed this and was like what is going on? I tried to have another person fix them too but they just look bad. Definitely not flawless I’ll tell you that.- I go back tmrw to get them fixed and will post updated pictures and hopefully change my star review #. I really thought they were friendly and they are willing to fix them so I appreciate that.

Ive been going here for over a year now and every single time I would get my nails done, I always have designs on my phone to show the nail techs what I wanted because I am not a creative person at all. These people are so good at their job! My nails has always been so good and would look exactly like the pictures i show them. 10/10 would recommend going here !

Five of us went in for nails and pedicures in preparation for my birthday. They were all really nice. Did a good job. Even though we called days ahead and made an appointment it still felt a little rushed. I felt that I could have used more time on my set of nails. Just little things overlooked. Overall a good experience.

I went here a few weeks ago while on vacation to visit my grandmother. She wanted to treat me to a mani/pedi as I don’t see her often. We were excited to get some girl time in before I returned home to Canada and found this salon on google which had a pretty good rating. We arrived 20 minutes early and they made us wait an hour before even seating us to do our nails. I got a simple coffin shaped red nail and my grandma got literally just clear polish on top of a nude colour. This is such a simple request I don’t understand how they messed it up. They put a dark brown on my grandmothers nails saying it’s “nude” and a hot pink on mine trying to claim it was red which if wasn’t. They also got polish all over us and refused to let us use the nail polish remover to take it off. Clearly we weren’t happy but still paid our bill and the one lady called us cheap and muttered something under her breath because we didn’t tip. Such a horrible experience, I recommend everyone go elsewhere.

Don is the most absolute best ever at doing nails. They are perfectly FLAWLESS each time.

DO NOT GO TO THIS BUSINESS!!! They abused a minor by cutting her acrylics off viciously, giving way to possible infections, AFTER a horrible job and this young girl asked for it to be redone kindly. This is no place that should be licensed. Absolutely despicable. This poor girl was crying afterwards, and she said they were very rude and aggressive.

I’ve seen so many false reviews about this business and WOW. These people really have nothing better to do but harass a business just because they’re not happy with the business’ service and their rules. from what I know, A LOT of people that are leaving negative comments and harassing this business has never been to flawless nails before. They’re doing that for what? It’s embarrassing at this point that these people are checking this business’ facebook every single day to harass them, but it doesn’t end there. THESE PEOPLE CALL INTO THE NAIL SALON TO HARASS THEM TOO. I feel so bad for this business. I don’t understand the point of it. If they truly did something wrong, let the ankeny police deal with it. It is NOT your job to harass them.

Fair prices and they are always willing to do whatever design/color I ask. Kim was very sweet and funny.

Employees were very nice and accommodating to requests. Business was very clean. My friend and I were walk-ins last Saturday. The mail techs did not push down our cuticles during Nail prep so our growth looks longer than a week. Mine were done very thick and several are crooked. They started lifting around the nail bed 2 days later. My friend also had some crooked and the lengths did not match and are also lifting as quick as mine. Only diff is her acrylics were done thinner making them look more realistic. If it were just mine that were not doing well I would go back to have them redone but with both being bad I would rather go somewhere else to have redone.

Vicki was absolutely fabulous, this was my first time here and it won’t be my last. she did a wonderful job and very professional. The dip in powder looks stunning on the nails! very natural.

The staff was not friendly! yelled at me when i was trying to show her my picture reference for my hand, she had zero patience with me. felt very rushed, paint looks sloppy. she didn’t let me choose my nail color as well. overall would not go back!

Loved this place. They were very nice and got us right in. My best friends and I all got the 50 pedi. It was AMAZING! The hot towels and hot rocks at the end totally took this experience over the top. I will definitely be going back. They are a step obove the rest.

Beautiful New nail shop

I frequently went to this salon for a fill every two weeks, and i went into the salon less than a week ago the day before my vacation and got my acrylic nails done, that same night the polish started peeling off and i couldn’t get them fixed til i was home from texas. and at this point i just asked them to do a fresh set because they were in such bad shape. when i asked if they would fix it they said yes and i was under the impression it would be no charge, after they were done they re-charged me an additional 50$, so in one week i spent 95$ on my nails and the first time i had even tipped him 18$ for a single fill. i spent 110$ here in one week for them to not even fix my nails free of charge. and to top this off, the night they started peeling i called them to see if i could come in that night for just a polish change and they didn’t answer their phone and had closed 30 minutes before the time stated on their website. this salon used to be my favorite and i will not be returning.

Today was the third time I’ve been to this salon since it’s been under new management. Each time I’ve had my eyebrows and my nails done perfectly! I had my nails dipped by Don. Absolutely Flawless! He takes his time and spends time on detail. I’m kinda particular about my nails so I was pretty impressed how attentive he was when making them look natural. He has a great sense of humor and makes his clients feel comfortable. The atmosphere in general is calm and relaxing. I look forward to having my nails done every three weeks!

Flawless Nails has done a great job on my pedicures every time that I have been there. I have had a different technician on each of my visits, and each technician has done super work! They have gotten rid of all the dead tough skin on my feet and have done a great leg and foot massage. I always get french tips and they look very professional. The staff at Flawless Nails are also very friendly and courteous. I have been to several other salons and Flawless Nails is my favorite for sure!

My friend And I went here recently and the technique they use for acrylics is probably the best I’ve ever seen. There was a bit of a wait even though we’d made an appointment, but they were super nice and gave us drinks and also had magazines. Love the fish tanks , place was super clean and the nails turned out great. My only complaint is that the workers understood very little English and it was difficult to communicate what I wanted. Will definitely be returning!!

I got my nails done on Tuesday, broke one and came in on Monday without calling and I got taken care of right away. Both times Don took very good care of me and chatted with me. Getting mine fixed went by quickly, only taking about 25 minutes!! Thanks to everyone at flawless nails!!

I have been to this place twice under the new ownership. They are excellent workers with their techniques. They are also very friendly. There are always 5 people working whenever I come in. I don’t think there are any kids working. The youngest is at least 33 or 34

This is the best salon I’ve ever been to - there were a lot of colors to choose from. It is very clean, the environment was very peaceful. Staff were very friendly and tried their best to give me the best results.

Probably the only nail salon Ive been to that takes out the supplies (file, buffer, etc.) out of the package in front of me so I know they are brand new, unlike others where the file and buffer they use already have white scuff marks. Everyone who has done my nails there has always done a great job. Have never had a problem with any early chipping or anything like that. Super friendly and always offering me beverages, or even just getting me one without asking, so I can be as comfortable as possible. They take their time on the leg and arm massages. Flawless Nails is surely my happy place. 😊 💕

Flawless Nails has recently took on new ownership in the past month (March 2019). I had a gift certificate that I needed to use and they did hesitantly accept it. The service was nice, the place was the cleanest I have ever seen it! Staff very friendly!! My only complaint is the dip powder job I got. In just 2 weeks I had part of my nail break and now at almost 3 weeks I have several nails falling apart. I am not one that wants to go back to have my nails fixed, just want them done right the first time. have been getting my nails done by Melissa at this place prior to this ownership and never had this problem. I feel as though the person doing my nails rushed through and did not spend quality time prepping my nails for the dip.

The first visit was good. They messed up but no big deal cause excellent service. Today I went in at 3:30 and didn’t get service until 5:40pm. Others who came in 2 hours after me got theirs done within 20 minutes. They offered me 25% off. I was told the price was 45$ but they said total was 58$. She charged me for shellac when I didn’t need it. Overcharged me for it when I was told a different price. My nails were uneven. She rushed and it was not a good experience. Will not be going back.

I must say, its pretty convenient that the same people bad reviewing this salon on google are the same people giving them bad reviews on facebook. this salon is wonderful, family owned and great customer service. and i am charged the SAME price every time, unless i opt to do a design. i will say that they tend to get pretty busy on the weekends so you should probably make an appointment.

LOVE LOVE LOVE my dip manicure Don just did! It is hands down the best looking manicure I have paid for in the Ankeny area and I have now tried 5 other nail salons. They are now under new management, I honestly never knew the previous state, but I highly reccomend you come here and then swing next door and get a margarita and queso at Los Charros like I did! I will absolutely be back! It was clean, lots of color choices, friendly and good humored staff, and a great price!

The environment is super welcoming and clean, the new owner is absolutely amazing! The quality they put out is 10/10!!
