My nails are crooked and different lengths and when I said something he said my fingers were crooked. Beautiful color on my nails though. And my full service pedicure I paid for the Polish is already coming off Ive never had that happen I mean its only been 4 days since I have my nails done usually I dont leave reviews but I was so dissatisfied after spending so much money there.

I’ve been to 7 different nail salons since I moved to Des Moines a year ago. “T” at Emma’s nails gives the BEST powder dip manicure. They’re not bumpy and thick like so many others I’ve had. She takes time to be thorough and detailed - she’s a gem!

Just a basic pedi and an acrylic fill with gel polish for me this nail trip. What *wasn’t* basic was the gentleness and attention to detail Eric showed today when taking care of my nails. Also, definitely the best pedicure foot/leg rub I have ever had. Worth mentioning is the calm and peaceful atmosphere and decor of the shop. A lovely experience from start to finish. I always come here with family and its always fun and super chill. With massage chairs and efficient service, its always worth coming! Nails have lasted for a long time too! Totally recommend! 😁✨

Emmas nails used to be great but have drastically gone down hill.

My nails were polished with TWO coats plusa light glitter polish on top and Emma claims I had two many coats of polish after spending the 15 recommended minutes under the dryer. After staining my bag and having it cover the controls of my mothers car despite being very careful I called to tell them I would be returning to correct my polish.I would not even write this review but am going to a wedding tomorrow and wanted my nails done and asked for gel so I could leave right away. They showed no responsibility for their bad nail polish or compassion for the inconvince it caused me. Then placed blame on me that I had too many coats of polish on. You provide the service and did not do a good job.Greedy business owner would not give me gel to correct my nails when I had paid them over $45 plus a $10 tip. Skip this place and go to another.I did not want to go through having my nails dry again when having to return to the salon.I would give zero reviews on customer service and failure to satisfy a customer. You have a lot to learn about treating customers.

Nice & friendly people, great pedicure chairs, as chatty or quite as you want for your time there (I like to read), Ive never had a negative experience here. Id recommend to anyone waiting a pedicure. (I Never get nails done, but they seem to do a nice job from what Ive seen)

Giving five stars based on my experience with Kelly. Super nice, very professional, took time to explain everything she did. Had microblading done. Was very nervous but felt confident with explanation of procedure. Plan to go again

Friendly and talented staff. Had manicure with dip nails and pedicure. Quality work. Lots of colors to choose from. I then had my brows done by Kelly. Wow! What a beautiful job! She did an ombre effect that looks do natural. Ill be back!!!

Went in without an appointment and they still got me in within 15 minutes and did a great job! I showed my nail tech a design and she did it perfectly!! I will definitely be making this my go-to nail place

My experience here was fantastic. They did a great job, it’s very clean. However, my gel manicure only made it 4 days before it started chipping away.

Have loved every visit we have made there. And we have been there many times since they opened. They are great with my 6 year old. My shellac manicures have lasted at least a week longer than from any other salons. The nail art is always beautiful and delicate.

Vince and Kelly are wonderful! They treat you like a member of the family. They are honest about wait time so you dont waste time waiting (best if you make an appt). I always look forward to my visits and the great conversations we have! Ive had no issues with my nails and thorough enjoy the pedicures!! With a side of wine. :)

Ive been going to Emmas for years. Vince and Kelly are great. Kelly does my nails. I have horrible, thin, weak nails due to a medical issue. Kelly is the only nail technician Ive ever had that knows exactly what my nails need, and she is very gentle! Another thing I love about this place is that they all speak English very well. Ive been to other salons where they cant speak to me or understand what I say, thus not getting the service I ask for. So frustrating! Thanks Emmas, you are all great!!

Its rare that you find a nail salon that isnt wall to wall with TVs. Here the focus is you. And I love that my technician talks to me the whole time. It just makes it that much more enjoyable to get my pedicure

Clean, friendly, and professional is what you will find at Emmas Nails. I have gone there for years and appreciate their fine salon. I usually go with a girl friend so we can chat and they always make sure we can sit together. My nails, I do the shellac nails, never have flaws or bubbles. I have broke a nail and came into the salon for a repair and they refused to allow me to pay (So I gave a tip!). Another time, I picked the wrong color and after a day, I had to go back and get it changed because I didnt like it. Again, they did not want to charge me for the color change. I plan on using and recommending their salon for years to come. Thank you Emmas Nails!

The manicure I received today was rushed. I needed to remind her I didnt want square shaped nails. She didnt do anything with the cuticle but push back lightly, and quickly applied lotion. It took her 17 minutes to do the job. No tip.

My first time here and it was WONDERFUL!!! My nails and toes look amazing!!! The price is very good, the staff is very friendly and goes above and beyonbeyond to do exactly what is asked!!! I went to Emma’s Nails on Friday and woke up Saturday morning to my left middle finger swollen and in pain. I went to the doctors today and it is staph. I will be reporting this to the border of cosmetology.

Everything about this place is ideal. A thousand color/design options, nail techs who are quick and talented, and a clean, airy atmosphere. Not to mention its run by a local family! Local business and amazing results. Love it!

Love this place! The people are super friendly and do a great job. I have only had a mani/pedi here, but they are always fantastic! My favorite is the paraffin wax! They only have it in the winter but its absolute heaven.

Love this place! Friendly, speak english & do good work. Just wish they had a rewards card like most nail places do because Im there every other week.

They damaged my nails by using an electric file when it wasnt needed (apptmt was around Thanksgiving). I didnt get acrylics so no reason to use file (I have a feeling the person forgot only my daughter was getting acrylics). Im still fighting the damage they did to my nails. We will never go there again.
