I went in and asked for a full cat-back system replacement, but after a quick glance Stacey recommended replacing only the muffler to save money since the whole system did not need replacement. I appreciated this and agreed to do business with him. He quoted me a price and scheduled my appointment. I dropped off my truck a little early and left it for him to get to when he could. They finished early and and called me to pick it up. When I settled my bill I was pleasantly surprised to see the same number as my quote. He even texted me a week later to ensure everything was working properly and to my liking. Great service and good value. 10/10 overall experience.

The flex pipe needed to be repaired on our car following a bumper tap. Stacey at the front was so friendly and professional. He quoted my husband the price and that’s exactly what we paid when the car was fixed. They did a great job. I had my 9 month old with me while they fixed it. We were allowed to wait in the lobby and Stacey kept us updated, made friendly conversation and was very personable. I would highly recommend this business and if we need other repairs in the future, I’d go out of my way to take my car there.

Took my vehicle to this location on the recommendation from a friend. I trust my friends opinion and went here which was really troublesome because it was completely out of my way.They were very quick to test my catalytic converters and found they needed replaced. The quote to replace them was a whopping $1444. I decided not to have it repaired. I was fine with it I paid the $50 for the diagnostic fee and was on my way.I was talking with another friend and he thought that was a little of base and recommended someone else. I took it elsewhere and told them that someone did test the components but I wanted a second opinion. He looked at it and said that it never looked as though it had been tested. But they did test it and they could replace the cat converters for $400 tax and labor. They also recommended replacing the muffler as it was rusting out in a lot of places and they could add that for $250.I was shocked at the price difference. I will never darken this guys doorway again.

This is the place to go for your Muffler work! Honest work, accurate estimates - done when promised. Sons 4Runner (20 yrs old) needed a budget-friendly repair on a cracked exhaust pipe. Midas (Clive, IA) wanted $900. Midwest Mufflers welded the pipe, reinforced (weld) a previous DIY fix, retained the muffler (still good and functioning) and added the necessary gaskets. All of this for 30% of the crazy Midas quote. I do not like spending money on my sons vehicle, but working with business like Midwest Mufflers made it a great, worry free experience.

So much trouble with my car I took it somewhere else and come to find out all the wrong size belts were put on and something that had supposedly been replaced was never done. No wonder theyre so nice, its a huge joke.

I went and got something to eat, and when I came back they were done within the hour. They said that what they had quoted me was more than what I was actually going to pay, because they found a way to make the parts work! We took our vehicle to Midwest Muffler for 2 leaking seals. The price quoted was HALF what a dealership would have charged us. Once they started looking at the vehicle, they were afraid there was an underlying issue with the transmission, so they recommended us to another auto shop. Very honest and professional people!

Went in and got a quote on swapping the muffler out on my 2011 RAM 1500. I told the owner I was wanting a 14 Magnaflow muffler put on and he told that would be too loud on the Hemi and that I should get something like the 18 or 24 muffler instead. I asked him what the price was out the door and i was told it was going to be $425. I wasnt sure if thats the going rate nowadays for a simple muffler swap so I set up an appointment but also kept looking around at other options.A coworker referred me to Iowa Muffler and Brake in Des Moines. For the exact same job and cutting the resonator out and replacing it with pipe I was only charged something like $220. Needless to say I cancelled the appointment with Midwest Muffler. Also Iowa Muffler and Brake put my truck up on a lift and held various mufflers on so I could hear the different tones from each different kind. I listened to corsa, flowmaster, and the Magnaflow 14 that i had been wanting and fell in love with the Magnaflow.I wouldnt have it any other way. Midwest Muffler tried to rip me off and charge me $200 more than their competitors.

Tried to bring my mufflers in to weld an additional pipe on. Wouldn’t even do a simple task because they were worried about getting fined ridiculous.

Been going here for years, i have a small business with 7 vehicles that I need on the street daily. When something breaks down Jim and his guys do everything they can to get it back up and running asapWouldnt go anyplace else, highly recommended.
