Had my first repair following installation of a full system. Air conditioner went out on a Saturday. I called Aspen and they came out same day. The technician diagnosed the problem quickly. Explained to me what had happened and when I could expect repairs. A warrantied motor had burned out. To make a long story short. I was up and running in four days.Needless to say this was five star service. Thank you Aspen!

We had an issue with our furnace and called Aspen Aire for a 2nd opinion over another company in town, Kohles and Bach. The technician with Aspen Aire, Eric, was phenomenal! He immediately diagnosed the issue and got us a quote, which was significantly lower than Kohles and Bachs quote. Our furnace wasnt working so he ran back to the shop to get a temporary motor for us to use until they got the new motor in. In addition, he offered to save us money by signing us up for a Service Agreement which would allow us to use a furnace inspection for this visit, get an A/C inspection in the Spring, and give us a discount on parts for the new motor we needed. Eric was also extremely knowledgeable about an Air Purifying system I asked about while he was at the house. Lastly, the cherry on top, I asked him if they could service our gas fireplace when they come out to fix the furnace motor and he told us a yearly service isnt necessary for the model of fireplace we have. Kohles and Bach told us it needed to be serviced every year. Its so nice to have a reputable, trustworthy company we can count on in Aspen Aire. And thank you for your advice, Eric!!

I cant thank Aspen Aire enough! My furnace starting acting up on Christmas Eve. I called the hotline and a repair tech was out on Christmas Day to place a temporary fix on my 23 year old furnace. It was it the end of its life cycle and 3 days later I had a new one installed. Very professional, courteous, and clean. I went downstairs and you wouldnt have even know I had a furnace torn out and replaced. I highly recommend Aspen Aire!

Aspen Aire is such a great locally owned company. My air conditioner started to go out and it is 90 degrees out with high humidity! They were quick and came right over. They explained everything to me and how to fix it. Definitely using them the next time we have an emergency!

The amount of time from when I first contacted them to when the work was all done was impressively quick. I contacted them through their website, and Shawn called me and was out at our house in practically no time. I got the bid back quickly and they were able to come out and get the whole thing done a few days later. One of the installers noticed that our dryer was venting into our basement because a coupling had come loose. It was unrelated to the work they were there to do, but he saw it and fixed it for me on his own, which I really appreciated. Really impressed with these guys. Like any other semi-major work that needs done to your house, it helps to get estimates from several local places. Id never had Aspen do any work for me before but got them out to quote replacing our AC. I was very impressed by Shawns knowledge and his openess to do what makes the most sense even if it didnt make them the most money. After sending me a quote, they had a couple guys on-site less than 2 weeks later to install a new AC as well as a Reme Halo disinfection light in the furnace. Shawn also came back out twice that day just to check in and see how it was going and if I had any questions. The installers explained everything after they were done and Shawn also spent some time to show me some extra stuff. Overall I was very pleased with the entire experience and will likely be moving my yearly HVAC check ups to these guys as well. Prices were fair and honest and for the first time in a while I didnt feel swindled. A+ to these folks.

Had a capacitor on my AC unit replaced less than a year ago by Aspen Aire. It failed prematurely and when I called about getting it fixed I was advised there is only a one month warranty on parts and would be required to pay full price.When doing the swap I noticed they used a very cheap, Chinese capacitor to do the repair last year. I would recommend avoiding Aspen Aire, they don’t stand behind their poor quality spare parts.

I do not write many reviews, i think a total of 5 in my life, but i felt very compelled for this company. I had furnace issues for the first time ever, and it was during a very cold winter snow storm last week. I called Friday evening, someone (Jordan) was out right away, and even tried to trouble shoot with my on the phone to avoid a charge. He was wonderful, kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. He walked me through some simple tests to make sure i could take care of an issue, diagnosed my problem quick, and was gone within 30 minutes. Furnace started, ran all night, next day, and Sunday morning it was out again. I called back after trying to troubleshoot, and Jordan responded within minutes. He was lighthearted and made me feel more comfortable, and came back out to check. He worked on it, replaced a part and made sure it worked. He advised that it was more than likely my board, temporarily fixed it to limp me through to Monday so we didnt have to open the shop to incur more charges, and left again. On Monday, he got back to me with prices, came out same day in a snow storm, and repaired the furnace. It has been working ever since with no issue. They were more than reasonable with their prices, didnt charge me for the second call out, and was as fast as possible. I couldnt be more happy. I will have to replace my furnace within the next few years and i will go through them, hands down no questions. I will even pay a little extra if needed to make sure i have such an amazing company stand behind the product and continue to give me the great customer service i have already experienced.

I was having troubles with my Nest Thermostat and researched and found Aspen Aire is Nest Pro certified and hired them the tech that came out was very good and added the wires I needed to the thermostat. They did a great job on re-routing the wiring for my humidifier and made things look nice! Appreciate the great service from a local company.

I have been doing business with Aspen Aire for many years. The employees are very knowledgeable and polite. Definitely a first-class operation!

Their slogan -Youre our friends and neighbors so we will never try to sell you anything you dont need. is absolute trash as we just had to settle with payment for a part that was unnecessarily installed and that did nothing to correct the issue we contacted them about in the first place. Our calls to the tech beginning the night the new part was installed and didnt work as well as a letter to the owner 2 weeks later were left us with no fix and zero communication. We payed this ONLY because I signed contract-a contract I believed was for a part the professsionals said was required to fix our system-again, it didnt- 18 months later they have threatened to sue us for the bill plus attorney costs when this could have been resolved had the fixed the issue up front! I will say the great tech that came in after Aspen Aire do an incredible job of fixing the system in no time and even managed to correct the override that the technician from Aspen Aire put on our system-an override that could have caused significant damage. If this company gives you a reccomendation-get a second opinion.

This is a great company I have called in an emergency and for just regular service. I recommend them to my son when he had an emergency with his furnace on a below 0 day. They have been amazing every time. If you call anybody else you are missing out on superior service from friendly knowledgeable people. You wont regret it!

Last year we had Aspen replace out A/C. The technicians did such a fantastic job that when my furnace blower quit, not allowing the A/C to cool my house, I called Aspen to replace my furnace. Shaun was helpful in helping us select the right one for our house. The replacement technicians were there at the appointed time and completed the job quickly. There was also no trace of them being there because they cleaned up everything. My house is now much more comfortable and cooler. I highly recommend Aspen Aire for all HVAC work.

Jordan came out this morning to install a whole-home humidifier. He was timely with communication about when he would be to my home and very polite and helpful while he was here. He found - and fixed - a couple issues with our furnace installation that were done incorrectly by the subcontractor a couple years ago. I know this took extra time but he didnt charge us for it. He was great about educating me on the product we purchased and some other general furnace related items. Thanks Jordan! We signed up for an annual service contract and will be glad to have them back each year.

I had an experience through my home warranty company who sent Aspen Aire to my house to fix my furnace. When the Apsen Aire tech left my house, I had working heat. I have a service agreement with another HVAC company to service my furnace and they came and told me that whoever fixed my furnace before did not replace another part and it needed done. I contacted the home warranty company who refused to take care of it. I contacted Aspen Aire and within 24 hrs, I got a call from them saying they ordered the part that needed replaced and as soon as it came in, they would be over to fix it. They stuck to their word and within 48hrs of contacting them, they made it right. They came out and fixed my furnace the way it shouldve been the first time. I cant tell you how thankful I am that they went out of their way to make this right for me. I truly appreciate their willingness to make the situation that was wronged, right. Kudos to Aspen Aire!

October 12,2018If you are looking for a heating and cooling contractor, ASPEN AIRE INC. is the one to use in our opinion.We just had our units replaced. Aspen Aire is the best!! Professional, but yet pleasant. Always willing to answer your questions.Shawn Stout was our Comfort Advisor; he listened to what had transpired with our units. He gave information to us about what would be a good unit. After he left, we discussed options and called him up to go for forward.Next the installation. Shawn came out with two techs, the lead was Kale and his helper was Tyler.They put down drop cloths on the floors (was a drizzly day) and started the project. We had heatby early afternoon. They checked how the system was running, and gave us the OK and then they left.Shawn had checked on the status during the time frame. They took away all the old furnace.The air unit was installed two days later (due to rain for two days!) All went smoothly. They will behere in the spring when temps get 68 degrees plus to check out the system.We are very, very pleased with Shawn, Kale and Tyler.Aspen Aire was the right choice for us and glad to have selected them! Great service! Professional HVAC work and cleanliness. All the techs took their shoes off at the door and laid down drop cloths to ensure that my house remained spotless. Shawn, recommended a new AC unit, Justin and Kale installed it within days of placing the order, and Brett didnt even charge us for the initial service call because I noticed my furnace was leaking in the dead of summer. This, it turned out, was due to a frozen AC coil. I would recommend Aspen Aire every time!

Highly recommend! Woke up one Saturday morning to a 2 year old furnace blowing cold air. We just moved to our home a few months ago and knew the furnace was installed by Aspen so we called them first. From the time I first called to the time the technician left our home was 90 minutes-and there was no charge since they considered it under warranty, even though we werent the original owners. The technician immediately knew the problem, showed us how he would fix it and eased our minds about more expensive issues we thought might be the problem. He was so fast and very professional. As awful as it is to wake up to a freezing house on a cold Iowa morning, they made the experience pretty painless. Wont hesitate to call them in the future.

Updating my review because I had a bad experience with a sales person when i needed to have my AC replaced. While Aspen Aire helped by notifying my home warranty company that the unit needed to be replaced, the sales person who came out for estimating install and logistics was rude and not a good communicator. When I would call for an update, he sounded like he couldnt be bothered with me. Eventually, I switched to a different HVAC company and have been happy since. Bottom line: techs are nice and helpful; everyone else isnt.Aspen Aire is great. My furnace seemed to have issues with the flu system each winter and my home warranty would send out different companies each time. None of them really fixed the problem. It wasnt until Aspen Aire last year that my issues were finally taken care of. These guys know their stuff. They were more knowledgable about my issue and my system than any other contractor who came out before. Professional, knowledgable, and caring.

So I have a gas leak and a toddler and Mid American came within 20 minutes of calling. They told me to evacuate and wait on them so I did. They found the leak and shut off the gas. Now I called Aspen the contractor for my Greenland home I bought under 4mths ago, they told me between 12pm and 3pm. I tried to explain I have no gas, my water heater is off and no urgency. So Mid American will have to come and open the valve after Aspen decides to show up. Talk about caring for your customers health and well being. So over it since this was my second time having a leak.
