I had a wonderful first visit! Even though my teeth are in less than awesome shape, the staff and Doctor made me feel confident that they will get back into health and the problems can be resolved. My husband recommended that I go see Dr. Paape since my tooth has been aching and I was surprised they were able to schedule me for an emergency visit. Love the place, love the staff especially the assistant, she went through all the details and instructions before they start, and leave the office. Dr. Paape was sensational, professional, honest, and friendly, I cant wait to go back.

Easy to schedule. Made appt for a few weeks out but they followed through on cancelation call list and got me in even sooner. Clean, safe facility. Policies keep waiting room from being crowded.

The receptionist was friendly the dental hygienist was very friendly and talk to me through my my my sitting and I felt good afterwards my kids felt clean and I was very happy with what she did

Great dentist, no complaints. Dr. Paape does great work. The hygienists are kind and thorough. But also, my two year old looses his toothbrushes all the time. We have three and still cannot keep a hold of them, so the other day at a loss I pulled out my free dentist bag thinking he could use my adult toothbruth.... they gave me an extra kid toothbrush! They have never seen him personally and I have never spoken about my toothbrush loosing problem. There was one for me and one for my toddler. I literally cried. I know it is a small thing but it made my life better and it just shows how awesome they are as a practice!

Best experience ever! My daughter and I went yesterday 12/5/17 and everyone is so genuine and kind. From making the appointment to check out was 100% amazing. I was so impressed. Old fashioned hospitality and it was just so rare but real. Thank you so much and we will back for sure! I will never go anywhere else again. Northstar dental is a very professional, efficient and customer service oriented dentistry. My husband has had some challenging dental issues and they have helped find solutions to solve them painlessly. We always feel like we are visiting friends not just an office when we go there.

Staff is very nice, I had my 7yr old daughter and her 10yr old friend with me and the staff was very kind to them put a movie on, let them come back and see me getting my teeth cleaned, they answered the girls questions, the staff was soo good to us!! I would recommend them to anyone who asks! Also my teeth are very sensitive they helped keep me relaxed and offered to try things to help me while they cleaned my teeth so I wasnt so uncomfortable!! 5 stars all the way!!

Dr.Paape is detailed yet personable. I know I can trust him to do what is needed and not do what isnt. I had some sensitive grooves from over brushing. He filled them with some kind of resin. Sensitivity is gone and it matches my tooth color. After 5 years they are still smooth as glass! The office staff always has a welcoming demeanor. Cant go wrong at Northstar.

My son is 6 years old and was very scared of the dentist. As soon as we walked in they are up front and honest with him and tell him what will happen and are extremely goood with kids with videos to watch while there undergoing procedures or encouraging your child that this is the last part and your almost done. Great people!

I came in my first time ever and told them I had a week and hafe before I moved to Ohio for good. They were willing to fit me into their very busy schedule and had great customer service. Not only that but Dr. Paapes skills made it a painless process during and after I was done. Because they were willing to accommodate my needs on such short notice I highly recommend them for everyone.

I have super high dental anxiety and Dr Paape and his staff are very understanding of that. The whole staff is super friendly and personable. I absolutely HATE going to the dentist, but these guys make me hate it a little less. Got a cleaning last week, a filling replaced today. Can confirm, I did not die.I hadn’t been to the dentist in 5 years because of my fear (which was stupid because I’ve had insurance this whole time). Realized it was time, did some research... Found Dr. Paape on Cigna’s find a provider website - he was rated #1. Now I know why. Man of few words, but when he does speak it’s not down to you and he doesn’t make you feel guilty for not seeing a dentist in 5 years.10/10 would recommend to anyone seeking dental work and routine cleaning. Dental work isn’t pleasant, so you might as well do it with pleasant people.

I went to this practice for the first time today. I have severe anxiety with going to the dentist, including just getting a cleaning. Every single detail was explained to me, and there was so much patience. From the front desk, to Mary the hygienist, to Dr. Paape the entire experience was WONDERFUL and that is saying sooooo much considering how fearful I am of dentists overall!

First time going here and it was absolutely outstanding!

I almost died because of this guy. Botched wisdom tooth extraction leading to emergency hospitalization and infection lasting longer than a year. Dr. Paape refused to respond to any emails Ive sent him since he caused this extremely dangerous injury.

Customer service from the front desk needs work! They messed up an appt. Scheduled 3wks prior to my appt. date. I was called on 1/25 and told that they had a cancellation and that my daughter and I could come together at 2pm instead of 2:30 & 3pm. I explained that the appts. had to be after 2pm, because shes in school. Oh np Ms McClain, well keep you for your same appt on 1/31. On 1/27 I receive another call at 1:48pm saying, we have an opening and can get you both in at 3pm, so you can be done at the same time. My response was great! See you on the 31st at 3pm! Today is 1/31 and at 3pm, I was told we dont have an appt for you today. Your appt was Friday 1/27 @3pm. We have you down as a no show. I took time off from work, I showed proof of my original appt date and time, and the calls received....needless to say, I picked up both my daughters and my dental records, and will never return. This is not the 1st debacle at this office. A dental hygienist told my daughter she had gingervitis and when I called to investigate, I was told they made a mistake, that result was meant for another patient. I had a cleaning done 5 years ago, and due to a mistake, had to go to a orthodontist to have a foreign object removed from my gum, that had me make 2 trips to the ER before they would make the referral....I hope they get their crap together before they are finally sued! And they better get a better office manager!

Dr. Paape was able to see me on the same day I called about a dental problem and was able to help me a couple of hours later, fixing my problem.
