Lived in Brighton Woods for a year and a half Elizabeth in the office was amazing! Always so friendly and works with you when life happens (or pandemic) the apartments are old and not much light gets to the windows at the building but they were clean with new flooring when I moved in, neighbors had been there a long time and very friendly. It is a not great area so lock up your car leave no belongings, my second vehicle parked in guest parking for over a week while I was out of town had the plates stolen off of it. But that was the only issue. It’s small, it’s an apartment, but the staff was great and it was clean and the outside well kept.

I love living at Brighton Wood apartment homes! Elizabeth and Tony are so great and take care of anything you need right away. It is an excellent community to be apart of!

By far the worst property management. Have had multiple issues with heat and plumbing and issues get put off and when maintenance finally comes out, they put bandaids on and call it good. Units are overpriced and the water is master metered, which means everyone’s water is split up. So if you aren’t home using water, you’re paying for your neighbors to use their water. I do not recommend living here till they price out units appropriately, meter the water usage properly for individual units, and fix the major issues. *Update: my heat has been out all day and had the maintenance come 3 times today, instead of even attempting to fix the heat properly, I get a small little floor heater dropped off and told to deal with it for 4 days when they can have someone come fix the issue*

I lived here 4 years ago mostly because I desperately needed a place to live. The entire apartment complex is outdated. The carpets are dingy and its dark with a total of 2 windows in the entire apartment. You are given 1 parking spot, but people frequently steal those spots daily and you are left to park far away and risk getting a ticket for parking elsewhere(happened to me and others more than once). There are constantly homeless people in the laundry room, stairways, and they are always trying to break into your cars and apartments. Our heating would always cut off for some unknown reason, and all they bring you is a dangerous old heater that barely warms up 5 feet in front of it. Our old manager, Andy, was awful. We found mold in our home, so he came to inspect, and swore it was not mold. So we had to continue to live with mold until our lease was up.

I have lived her for almost 2 years. Initially, it was great! Close to work, shopping, gas stations, vet, etc...Management was amazing! Andy & Kristy were all about the residents and provided excellent customer service. If I ever had an issue, they wouldb take care of it straight away. They were very honest, hard-working and personable .Unfortunately they left. I wish they were still here. Even though the apartments are dark and dingy with old carpets and popcorn ceilings, I was still willing to stay until I was able to make other future arrangements. Now I feel the need to speed up that process . The Website is not user friendly. Maintenance is not done in a timely manner . The leasing office is in desperate need of help, along with maintenance . It would actually be very efficient of then to have someone in the office during the times posted outside their door, instead of constantly having the CLOSED sign hanging. Weidner properties need a lot of work .

Been here over 2 years now and I am stuck here until I can move. But never again will I live in weidner apts. Everyone I know told me dont move into these apts. But at the time I had moved in here, i had not much of a choice. Its a circus living here, loud and crazy noises all week, all day, all night, and especially weekends. Last week I had no kids at home, so I decided to turn on my music at 2:00 in the afternoon on a Sunday and do some cleaning and dishes AND someone had security knocked on my door saying theres a complaint and I need to turn my music down. Weidner does not care to fix much and when they say it is fixed, it still falls apart. The deposit is only 500.00 to move in, dont fall for this. No matter how desperate you may be. . When ever I mention weidner property to anyone the first thing they say is I hate weidner dont do weidner, thats a bad place I used to work there, you dont want to live there nothing good comes from living here, best advice I can give you is look some where else to live. Hope you listen our you will learn the hard way and have your own horror story to tell about weidner. You are welcome for my share.

Place is in a horrible location, only thing going for it is the close proximity to Wal-Mart and Fred Meyer east down Debarr. Weidner properties are notorious for horrible maintenance and Brighton Woods was no exception. My ceiling was leaking so they patched the roof but never came back in to fix the hole they put in the ceiling. The place I was in was dark and dingy with old carpet. Weidners new site is no more user friendly than trying to put card board through a paper shredder. I was suckered into staying there because they have an agreement w/ FT Richardsons Housing Office so I didnt have to pay a security deposit and got $80 off every month. Oh and at this location the town houses have just three rooms; bedroom and bathroom upstairs and one medium sized living/kitchen/dining room downstairs. They have no onsite security precautions besides the dead bolt on your front door. Actually I got my hitch stolen off my Jeep while I was away on training for a week.TLDR Stay away from Weidner properties!

Parking is terrible, especially in the winter. The laundry card system is terrible. The website was frequently down and it was hard to put money on the card.
