The environment is amazing. Everybody knows everybody here. Everyone is super nice. The property manager (Charity Medlin) is fantastic and kind! Shes very understanding, and takes care of anything you need right away. Shes even organized Christmas gifts for residents before. I know Ill never have to worry about any problems while Im at this property, and that makes me want to stay for a good long while :)

I enjoyed living at Artic Sun because my unit had an amazing view of surises/sunsets, Ms. Charity is an amazing property manager that helped me move in quickly when I moved to Anchorage, and Eddie (building maintenance) who goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is functional in the apartments.I wish that all of the tenants took care of the property when it comes to picking up after themselves. I always appreciated seeing Eddie maintaining the property and the friendly housekeeper I would see in the mornings.Overall living here was a good experience! I only moved because I no linger wanted to live in Midtown and wanted more secure parking.

Lived here for two years and really enjoyed it. The staff was incredibly friendly, neighbors were quiet, and the maintenance staff was quick to fix any problem in our apartment.

This apartments dont even deserve not even one star! This people lie just to rent you an apartment, they tell you something and at the end its a different story. The parking space VERY BAD, any one take your space at any time and they dont do nothing about it. In the winter, Lets not even go there. They put all the snow in your spot and youll have to park on the street. While living at the 42nd ave, I notice that no one lasted in the apartments and now I see why. People, dont rent at this apartments!! They ripe you off!! ITS A BIG NO NO!

The cleaning lady has always been really nice and thorough when cleaning the building, the maintenance guy Eddy has always done a great job on top of being very courteous. We have had a few apt managers over the last five years, but I have had no problems with any of them and only polite service. The building however is very old, appearance wise it is quite ugly. The balconies are dry-rotted thoroughly, where u can knock pieces off with your hand. The parking lot is really, really small and people quite often take reserved spots. There tends to be drunks wondering the street outside, screaming and making alot of noise at night. No cooling so the place is really hot in the summer as well. If the apartment was priced at least 30% or more less that it is currently, itd probably not be a problem, but the 1 bedroom is over a grand a month, easily hitting into Town-home prices. There have been several shootings in the local park and on the streets around the apartment building, so you are not paying to live in a nice neighborhood.
