Things went well in the buying process. But the front ( bumper ) hasnt beenfixed yet, an havent received an owners manuel yet. Hope nothing ever goes wrong with engine, transmission or drivetrain afraid the warranty wont be worth anything.

There were some hold ups getting the van through the service department before we could take possession, which is somewhat understandable during a global pandemic when parts are harder to get. DO NOT WORK WITH THEM. Was sold a car with that power train warranty,t hat shook violently when accelerating at a speed greater than 55 that they claimed was a tire problem the CV axle is shot. Have been in a fight for last 3 weeks with them another dealership and the warranty holder over who ends up having to pay for this even after it was smoothed out and the work was done all sides pulled out on the agreement. Leaving me with a 500 repair bill for something they should have found before selling.

Agreed on a price to purchase a 2021 Renegade and left $500 cash to “consider it sold” as we had to wait on our credit union to fed ex us the check. On the day of pickup (less than 48 hours later)the dealership stated that incentives changed and if we wanted it, we needed to come up with $750.00 more.Raising the cost of the vehicle after we signed a paper agreeing on a purchase price is absolutely ridiculous! To top it off, we have yet to hear from a manager to explain what changed, apologize, or try to remedy the situation.If this is how this dealership operates, I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND as they have proven themselves to be untrustworthy and unethical.

Even though the dealership has some flaws there is a good core there. I had an issue with one of our vans with the service department.After some back and forth, Deery of Ames came through and made everything right for us.In the end no business is perfect but I can at least say Deery of Ames made things right. It is ridiculous that you cannot make an appointment for oil change type of work. They tell you that such work will be done in the Express lane, but admit that it may take one hour to three hours to complete the job. So, it is obvious not Express anymore!!! Appointment is, therefore, much needed to save customers from wasting their time waiting.

I had a great experience buying at Deerys, and I hope they are proud to have Billy selling for them. Billy knows all about cars, but he is an expert in RAMS and drives one himself.Billy did lots of things to personalize my buying experience. I told him what I wanted about 8 months ago. When the right truck came on the lot he took a picture of it and sent it to me before it was even off the semi trailer that pulled it in. He either wrote down or remembered that I needed the crew cab and a factory trailer brake. Those are small details so it meant quite a lot to me that Billy remembered what I had to have.I bought this truck while living in Colorado. I cannot say enough about Billys communication. Billy isnt a pushy salesman and was careful not to push me into a truck that wasnt perfect for me; thats my favorite type of salesman. It took many, many phone calls, texts, and e mails to make sure my new truck had exactly what I wanted and to make sure we were on the same page. When I wasnt satisfied with the payment, Billy was persistent with the sales manager, and through his communication and effort, we got to a fair payment, and one I could afford.If youre thinking about buying a car, call Billy at Deery. Our car was totaled in the Iowa Derecho; we had to use a rental for quite some time. We continued to ask our insurance company when we would need to have a new car picked out by. They didnt tell us, and finally the car rental company called us and told us we had two days left with the rental before we would have to pay out of pocket. We had been looking, and had an idea of what we wanted, but were still unsure. We called Deery the next morning and asked if one of their cars was available and if we could come take a look. Chad answered and opened his schedule for us. He was great! We got in right away, and he was incredibly helpful. We have 5 kids, so a larger vehicle is a must. He helped us through the importance of features vs not so important - having kids of his own. We had never purchased a mini van so his expertise was helpful! Ive come for oil changes 2 times now and the oil change was $12 more expensive than the first time due to price fluctuations. And I got my tires rotated for $20, I mean $19.95. RIDICULOUS. I have attached the receipts from both full synthetic changes, one in December of 2019 and one today on March 2020. The only reason Im giving this review even 2 starts is because the service for my vehicle was done correctly, probably. A free carwash is a nice bonus but I will not be coming back.

This was the most incredible, low stress and amazing car buying experience Ive EVER had! We started off thinking we were going to be buying an entry level car, not that we didnt want something better, but we didnt have a lot for down and we were upside down on our current car. Arron, Trevor and honestly EVERYONE there just asked us what we were wishing for, and what did we come to see. When we told them the smiled and said dont worry, were going to show you both of those and well see where we end up. We fell in love with the trailhawk but figured there was no way they could work out how to make it happen.....Well it took a ton of work for Aaron to get with his Chrysler Finance rep and push them for all kinds of things. A few hours later he said come get your car. There was no after sales finance selling, he explained every last detail as to how it would affect the payment if we chose to get something and then laid out guidelines for reasons for or against getting something. It was transparent and completely up to us what we decided on. Some stuff we said yes, others we said no. 10 minutes later we had our keys in hand and were driving home like it was some amazing dream! Thank you so much guys ! My husband cant wait to get a new power wagon but weve got to save a little for that one!

Stopped in to test drive the new RAM trucks, and left with the last truck Ill need for the next 8 years.I had already somewhat made my decision on what model of truck, and what features I wanted. However, I was a little unsure if I wanted to go with it now or wait another year. After being run through all the features and going on the test drive with Luther, it was very obvious that I knew I wanted to make it work. Hes a very helpful salesman and not pushy at all. He was very aware of all the features the truck had and could explain each of them in detail. For those who may not be super good with technology, he would be very helpful to understand some of the more techy features that come included in these trucks.If I ever need a truck again, Ill probably go buy through these guys again.

Billy is great. He go through all the details helping me to decide the model when place a factory order. Patience, detailed, never tried to oversell anything to me. He does install a confidence in me.

Bought a used van from them for work. Josh was very helpful and did great work. Best dealer iv worked with. Did say the van had Bluetooth but thats only for calling not for music so that was disappointing as thats almost worthless compared. Also the back wiper was the wrong size and when i told them a few days after closing deal was told i had to fix even with 1000 mile warranty covering all parts but not a big deal. Price on van was decent and deal turned out great (traded in a car). Loan solution went well. Only downside was the detailing. I had to wait a few weeks due to needing to leave it there all day. Dropped it off at 930 am and was told 4 maybe 5 hours and a nice shuttle ride home. It wasnt until 445pm that i got it back and see enclosed pictures. They seemed to ignore the center counsel and part of the back seat. The wash looks fine but the parts that needed a vacuum seemed overlooked even with the excess time. Also on the roof there was a weird sand. Detailing was very disappointing and left the whole experience with a bad taste in my mouth.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I picked this dealership because of all the nice reviews and high rating. My experience was a total disapointment. The car they sold me 2016 Nissan Murano SL used car they claimed had all the standard feautures for the SL trim and I travelled 10 h to go get it and they got me out the door so fast no wonder why. No manual booklet to check everything so I had to google them when I got back home and was so exited but a lot of the nice extras were missing even though they were listed. So they are lying on the cars description claiming inspection is done - then how is possible to list something that does not exist? PLEASE BE AWARE THEY ARE LOOKING TO GET THE SALE NO METTER WHAT!!!

We (husband and I) just purchased our 2019 Subaru Forester from Deery, and worked with Thomas Rodamer. We had a great Forester previously, but it was totaled after a deer ran into it. The one from Deery was very clean on the inside, just one previous owner, and had no previous damage. Thomas showed us prices of other Foresters within 200 miles of us, gave us a print out of the vehicles history, allowed us to test drive it multiple times, and gave us the best price.We thank Thomas and his fellow co-workers for the kindness they showed us and would recommend them for purchasing a car. They weren’t able to make the trade in worth our time so we still have it, but they got us into our brand new 2019 Ram classic 4X4. Great experience! I was in multiple times trying to find a vehicle that was in my price range, and that me and my girlfriend both liked. It was very difficult with multiple times having to leave without a vehicle that I wanted because I still owed a lot on my car that I was trying to trade, but after many times in Marc Pineda was finally able to get me in a vehicle I was able to drive home and keep! A 2016 Jeep Renegade. With all the times I was in and out probably stressing him out he deserves all 5 stars and then some! I would say to everyone that goes in to ask for Marc as he is a very patient salesmen who could definitely help anyone find a vehicle they like.

We bought our “certified” van in December 2016, we had problems with it starting and dying within the first couple days. We took it back to the dealership and were supposed to have a loaner vehicle for us to fit our family of 6, but only had a small Jeep. They never fixed the issue despite having our van for close to 2 weeks. They chalked it up to “using E-85 fuel”, the van still has this issue 3 1/2 years later.We got gap insurance when we purchased it, we’ve since paid off the loan and have been trying to get the remainder of our gap insurance back. We contacted Jason Canero and explained what we needed. He sent us the form, but checked the box stating the check be mailed to our lender (even though my husband was very clear that we paid off the loan). I filled it out and crossed off the incorrect section, checked the correct box and made a note ON THE FORM and IN THE EMAIL TO HIM, stating we paid off the loan and the check should be mailed to us.Guess where they mailed the check? Yup, the lender.Their incompetence in astounding, and their lack of sympathy for their own mistakes makes me question how they are even in business.I will NEVER purchase another vehicle here, and I tell my family and friends to never do business here either. What a joke of a dealership.

This was my first time buying a car at Deery. The selection was enormous, the prices were very reasonable. The salesmen and finance team were patient and took the time to make sure I was 100% satisfied with a vehicle before committing to anything. They found me the best price for the car and the warranty. I highly recommend them and will purchase from them again in the future.

Great experience! My second purchase from the guys in Ames. I drove 45 minutes to save thousands. I also drive to Ames to get my vehicles serviced because the service department is just a great as the sales dept.

2 years ago I left 1 star and a blistering review over our purchase of a used Chevy Impala. The first few months we had the car we had to fix a lot of things, not to mention the previous owner had used under the seats as their ashtray and nothing had been cleaned up. But once we got those things fixed weve had no further problems with the car, in fact it runs great. I also looking back can be forgiving with the under seat ashtray because originally wed set up an appointment for the evening to look at the car but then showed up in the morning. They did tell us they hadnt time to look the car over. So, considering the fact that the cars price was low enough that even with adding all the repairs we had to do it was still a fairly good deal I think I have to jack those stars up to a 4.

Had perfect service on my new Jeep renegade. Got my oil changed, tires rotated and new software update all in about an hour,without an appt. Clean, social distanced waiting room with wifi.
