Excellent project management (Carrie) and attention to detail/quality of work (Jackson and Crew). Everyone who worked on the project went above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction before, during, and after the work was completed. Overall, just great communication, responsiveness, and professionalism. Highly-recommended!

Beware of terrible project management, nonexistent communication, and lazy invoicing.Contacted Servpro to take care of water damage from the 2020 Derecho. The project immediately got delayed due to the ongoing pandemic. Servpro about a month working in my house but, somehow, they were able to drag the project out to last over 6 months. Their project management skills are extremely lacking, most of the work that got done was due to me reaching out to the project manager. I rarely received unsolicited updates about the progress. They damaged ceilings and floors that were out of the scope of the original project. Items in my house went missing while they were the only ones to have access to my property (they did compensate me for one of the items and returned the other after several months of me demanding). Then, when all the work is finally complete, they tried to over charge for the services they provided. While reviewing the final itemized invoice, I noticed they tried to charge me for reusing crown molding at the same rate as the room where they replaced with new crown molding. I also had to argue with them over a charge to replace an electrical wire that they had damaged during the demo. Had I not reviewed their invoice, they would have charged me ~$800 more than they did.Edit:The owner, Jeff, reached out shortly after reading my review. He explained the circumstances that Servpro faced over the last year and explaind the steps they are taking to try to improve how they operate. I cant guarantee you will have the same experience with them that I did. That said, I will likely not use them for any future projects.

We felt that Daniel was wonderful to work with. Professional team and did exactly what they said they would do and seemed very efficient. Took less time than planned. We would highly recommend them based on our experience.

Jaxson and Zach were great help in cleaning up after a water leak in our basement. They worked hard to remove all of the damaged ceiling tiles and carpeting. Don and Carrie came over and checked out my attic after a suspected raccoon break-in. They were very professional even when a bunch of blown-in insulation rained down on them while opening the hatch to the attic.Carrie checked the attic and took pictures. Don told me that the insulation was undisturbed and looked clean. He told me that no clean-up work was required.Before leaving, they cleaned up the insulation that came down.This was a very good experience. I recommend ServPro and would call them again.

We have used SERVEPRO of Ames now for two different rain events that brought water in the basement of our church building. In both instances, Jeff was professional and responsive. They had a team out to the property quickly and started walking us through what was needed for cleanup. The results were amazing! The spaces looked and smelled, as if it never happened. I am very thankful for the hard work and obvious pride they take in caring for customers and our community. I highly recommend working with Jeff and the SERVEPRO of Ames team.

I never knew that such a company was here in Ames; but when I needed them they were there. Very professional, and checked everything, had such a positive attitude and kept us updated on the clean up. It was unfortunate that we needed them; but thankful they were able to come and clean up; and check everything out.

I live in Lehigh and had flood damage the middle of March. I first called Servpro in Fort Dodge. I didnt receive a call back. After a month of waiting, I decided to call the Ames Servpro! I am extremely pleased with the quick response, the friendly and professional service and a job well done! I felt they exceeded all expectations! When I first called Servpro I was not even sure we were going to be able to live in our house due to the water and mold damage. They were very sympathetic to our situation, looked at the damage, and gave us an estimate. They reassured me that it could be repaired and explained everything they would do. They were there throughout the process to answer questions and addressed our concerns. They got everything done very quickly and even dealt with some extra things. All done very quickly and professionally, and within our budget. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable with what was done. I am very grateful to Sondo and his team for all their hard work and appreciate their dedication to helping people feel safe and comfortable in their homes again. They have weird manner of doing business. They provided a very bad service and charged me a few hundred bucks, which I paid. I was going to let it go. But they recently wanted to charge me again for the bad service I received back in August, which I paid. I have to give them a review and I do not recommend Servpro to anyone.
