Took my 6-year-old son in for a haircut and he did a great job. Very old-school barber shop feel. Bruce made conversation and took his time, very thorough. We will be back!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by Bruce for almost 30 years now. I’ve been waiting for this day since my son was born to bring him here for his first. As weird as it sounds I’m kind of glad it happened during the pandemic because he’s only doing appointments. My wife and I were the only ones there and we didn’t have to wait (I remember the long waits when I was a kid). Bruce was great as always and my son felt very comfortable with him. I will continue to come and support him until he decides to hang up his scissors and clippers

Great barbershop

I have gone to BRUCE for my haircuts for over 20 years. I highly recommend him. He goes to work at about 7 AM daily and works Tuesday evening by appointment and starts to work at 4 AM on Saturday. He has customers waiting for him at the front door when he opens. He is an amazingly hard worker and a nice guy.

Kind of looks like my grandmas house in 1980 but the quality of haircut was good and the barber asks fun questions and loves football. $15 flat rate and youll be out in half an hour. Doesnt take reservations.

Ive had mixed mediocre results with barbers around Des Moines, so I decided to keep looking. Found this place on Google and decided to give it a shot. It was great! There are no reservations, so be sure to plan to wait a bit because you will not be disappointed! Friendly service, comfortable, classic environment, and a great cut! I had my beard trimmed up as well and I cant remember ever being happier with the results! Keep it up!
