What a wonderful experience from start to finish! I came in knowing exactly what I wanted when it came to upgrading my ring. Tony showed me many stones until we found “the one” (pictured below) and worked with me on the custom setting to make sure the ring as a whole was absolutely perfect! I never felt pressured, the staff is not snobby, and after shopping 6+ other jewelers I know they offer very fair prices too. They even dipped my old dingy rings and took care of a watch battery for me with no hesitation. The store is bright and clean and has a huge selection with staff that is happy to work with you. They’re truly top knotch. I’m happy to have found a wonderful local jeweler!

Read for an honest experience.If you’re like me then you may also do a lot of research to find a trustworthy place to do a service you’re not used to. Jewelry is out of my league a bit. The Google search was on.I had always known Guven was a Greater Atlanta Christian School family name, so they were at the top of our list. Nice to support people who support great things.My engagement band was dented and the prong kept breaking (I knock into things a lot and have a toddler, so yeah). So I haven’t worn my engagement ring in about 2 years. Oops.The staff at Guven was SO kind and helpful and patient with me to decide and ask questions and they really knew their stuff but not in a patronizing way.That was great, cause I had lots of q’s and wasn’t about to pretend I knew what I was talking about.10/10 would recommend Guven ... but for real. They exceeded my expectations. I recommend them for anyone looking for jewelry repair or purchase.We used my original 3 stones (passed down from Blake’s grandma - can you imagine the value of these beauties back then!?) and added a side of bling (partially for a “push present.. partially for 30th bday ... like this justification??). Ended up going with a new band instead of a replaced prong.Guven used the white gold from the original ring and majorly customized the band so that the prongs fit my stones and so they it all sat lower on my finger than the example they had on the floor. Exactly what I wanted. Pointy prongs and I don’t get along.The Guven staff even went the extra mile to kindly inform me why my engagement band had so many dents and issues. This was great cause I wanted to know if just replacing a prong was the right call.Apparently my wedding band ($200 hammered ring on Etsy) was a bit too thick, so it gradually grinded against the prongs and caused a dent in the ring with the stones. Who knew!Anyways, for someone who who doesn’t wear a lot of nice jewelry and is learning to do a bit more for herself (🙋🏻‍♀️), this was a special upgrade and treat.I’m grateful for a team that listened to my ignorant questions with grace and understanding and that somehow customized a ring in ONE WEEK to be exactly what I asked for. I’m blown away. They even worked with me on the price with us step by step so it fit our family budget.Not to be materialistic or that girl... but can’t stop staring at it. WOW! What an incredible new store and equally incredible location across from the Avalon! The only thing brighter than the gleaming new interior is the great service from owners Tony and Joy Guven and their service team. It was great to learn they are BOTH...GIA Certified Gemologist! So appraisals are certified, unlike many other stores. The selection and quality of merchandise is the best I have seen in North Atlanta. They also have while-you-wait repair service and setting from a Master Jeweler! It is a family atmosphere and NO pushy sales people or commission sales - just family who live and work in this community helping you find THE right gemstone for all the milestones in your life. All in all a pretty cool and fun place to shop. You might even get to see some pictures of Asher Jerry, the new grand-baby!!

After going to several different stores we knew we wanted to go with Guven Brothers. They are a really nice family-owned business with unbeatable prices and quality. Tony was able to create the ring of my dreams and I could not be more excited. I have not seen it yet but will update with pictures when the proposal happens.I also would highly recommend them because Tony was able to finish the ring in a week in time for our beach vacation (where we thought we were going to do it). The Guven family (and specifically THIS location) is FANTASTIC! I went there with a few options in mind for an engagement ring and they were incredibly knowledgable and helpful through the entire process. But best of all, they were accommodating to any and all of my desires (even in terms of keeping it a secret from my girlfriend!). They offer lifetime warranty on all of their jewelry, free lifetime cleaning, and they even re-sized it for free after I proposed. I went with a custom piece and was able to watch them make it in-store in under 45 min. They are very friendly when you walk in the door and not pushy about what you are looking for. This is a great family-run business that we will definitely be using in the future!!

First of all, they offer gorgeous, affordable wedding rings that they personalized to my taste and our budget.My fiancé and I worked with Tony and the service was excellent. I never felt rushed and I tried on tons bands and then different diamonds until we found the perfect one.Also, the rest of the staff is amazing!!! When I go in for free cleanings, I am treated like with warm, genuine welcomes! It s the definition of a trusted, family owned business!!!!

I needed to get my wedding and engagement rings cleaned. I usually go to a store where we purchased but it isn’t convenient to get to. Tony did it again!!!in 2017, I wrote a great review of their old place, now in 2020, I will say that they have outdone themselves one more time, I commissioned Tony with a very hard request, which was to find a very particular, high-end watch, TBH, I didnt think he was going to be able to pull it off, leave to him!He called me within days and surprised me with the good news, best part he gave me an incredible deal on it. All of this of course with the usual impeccable service and attention to detail that only they know how to give their clients. Incredible customer service. They really went out of their way to win my business for an engagement ring. I called them saying that I was going with a different jewelry store and rather than fold they did far more than I expected to make me an offer I couldnt refuse. So good that the larger jewelry company that I was going to go with admitted they couldnt compete with the offer. If you want to feel like a priority I really recommend shopping here.
