In the middle of a redo, the only appliance I had not planned to replace went puny on me. I pleaded I prayed and still, my Grand old (over 20 year old $350 Hot Point, never a problem, Refrigerator) would not cool sufficiently. I even tried to buy a New one, a scratch and dent, a craigslist, nothing.As a last resort I turned to Goggling appliance repair. It was pure close my eyes and throw a dart and miraculously did I get a BINGO BULLSEYE when I called Appliance Care of Atlanta! Again, it was so charming to have a “stranger” in my home with whom I felt instantly at ease. How could I Refuse when for $312.74 I would have a machine which may go on for another 10 to 15 years. Wow! At 82, I now have a new reason to live…Which old babe will live the Longest? I highly recommend Appliance Care of Atlanta. We woke up to a refrigerator and freezer that had completely failed; neither compartment was cooling. Our regular appliance repair company couldnt see us for a week. Appliance Care came that same day and the technician not only did excellent work, he stayed until nearly midnight to complete the repair. They also filed for the warranty coverage and didnt charge us for the parts that were covered. We will definitely use Appliance Care again.

Was able to speak with technician to make the appointment rather than with someone who only does scheduling and can’t answer any questions about the job to be performed. First visit charged $285 to replace pump in washer. Worked a week, then nothing worked. After 4 more visits from repairman, nothing works. He was unable to fix washer. Not sure if he knew what he was doing or not, but nice guy.

Friendly, professional and engaging technician. Quickly diagnosed the problem. Compressor failed on the refrigerator and he let us know exactly how to get it repaired under the manufacturers warranty. Note: In order to properly diagnosis the unit, he had to install a tap in the freon line. This is something that will be charged and not included in the service call fee. However, the service call fee was waived with the installation of the tap. If this technician is what I should typically expect; I can recommend with full confidence.

Fixed an oven igniter on my Thor range. They wanted $400 for a 30 minute repair with a $129 part! They refused to break down labor and parts. Refused a supervisor. So I looked price up on line and told him I would pay $300 and even that is a rip off at $300/hour for labor! He did repair it, this place is a like a mafia racket! Beware!!!

[ I relied on ratings on Google, now I question this whole ratings. Since this is the second in the last one week the service didnt live up to the ratings. ]Going to the actual issue, the repair person came on time, diagnosed the issue and first said $166 for repairing the dryer. When I immediately agreed to have it fixed he started adding up his services charges to $350. I was able to negotiate it down to $220, even that I feel too high to repair a dryer, he completed the repair. But the real sad part is the dryer still not working.

Outstanding company! Our freezer thawed. We had been told by another service company that it would be 2 weeks before they could come out and that they didnt do emergency calls?!! I called ACA and they were out to see us almost immediately. James, our technician, followed CV protocols, and was so polite and efficient, as well as neat. Appliance Care of Atlanta was prompt, courteous and professional. I sent in a request for service very early in the morning and received a call back within 30 minutes letting me know that their tech, James, could come out same day. He arrived within 15 minutes of the start of the window they offered me and diagnosed refrigerator problem immediately. He offered me two different options, sharing the pros and cons of each, and even showed me in the pricing book what the costs were. He did not try to influence my choice at all and answered all of my questions patiently. He was here for about 90 minutes in total. He cleaned up his work area when done and took time to walk me through the bill. He also gave me some good tips for maintenance and care so that we would not run into this problem again. I have seen a few reviews that noted that this company was expensive and am puzzled by that. Most of us cannot replace a refrigerator compressor quickly and easily, and honestly, while the compressor cost quite a bit, it was way better than buying a new refrigerator. Plus, they came out and fixed in one day. Try getting a brand new fridge in a day! All in all, I was extremely satisfied with the service and would not hesitate to recommend Appliance Care of Atlanta to anyone.

VERY courteous repairman who explained the issue and my options in a very clear manner. Repair was completed in less than 1 hour and I am a VERY satisfied customer!

We had a Samsung dryer that had been working great for 9 years, but after all that time, it started having moisture issues and the inside of the drum, as well as the instrument panel were fogging and moisture was accumulating. Seemed that the vent line may have been plugged up, but we repeatedly cleaned it and found no issues with a clog. Then we called Appliance Care of Atlanta, and they sent Russell out.Russell was very thorough, and he opened the dryer up and found all sorts of lint just blanketed in places that we could never reach. Some of it was already burning, and was an extreme fire hazard. Some other plastic pieces were melting. We could have had a real mess on our hands, but Russell took care of it all. The before and after photos are attached...and youll see that Russell had us back to good as new by the time he was done. The repair cost $370, but it beat the heck out of buying a new dryer altogether! If we did that, wed also want to buy the matching washing machine to go with the new dryer...and that would have cost a considerable chunk more!I highly recommend these guys!!!

The compressor on my refrigerator failed on a friday afternoon. Called ACA to schedule a service call . I was told nothing was available for Saturday but if one opened up they would call me back. A short time later they called to inform me that they could schedule a service call on Saturday. Next day James arrived on time. Tested the refrigerator and said it needed a new compressor. As the old compressor was still under warranty I would have to co-ordinate the ordering with the manufacturer. After spending hours on the phone and with the help of Elena at ACA we finally got all the paperwork filled out and approved. The compressor arrived on Wednesday and James arrived that afternoon and completed the installation. It was a pleasure working with James and Elena. The service was first class. James was professional, knowledgeable and made sure that everything was working before he left. I would highly recommend ACA for any appliance repairs.

I highly recommend this company to address any needs that you might have. They were very professional, arrived when they said they were going to arrive, were willing to explain the issue in detail to me, and quickly resolved my issue in the first visit! They are also very reasonably priced in comparison to other vendors in the area. The technician was welcoming and willing to explain the issue in detail to me and he did exactly what he said he was going to do to repair my issue. Also, about a month later, the replacement part failed and I contacted them and they came out right away and replaced the part for free, only had to pay for labor which I feel was a very fair offer! We were happy to find a company that could come to our downtown office tower to fix a refrigerator-freezer water filter housing that had broken for the tiniest of reasons. It took only about 30 minutes for the repair. Four stars because the repair person showed up a little after the quoted time range, which was a function of distance and traffic.

Called and set up appointment for diagnosis on Friday, spoke with Elena, in which she received my address, along with other pertinent details. Adjusted my schedule so that I would be here for the appointment on Monday afternoon. Received call Monday saying that they would not be coming because Im outside of their service area...so if their own employees dont even know their service area, its hard to believe their technicians would be competent in their duties.

OVERCHARGED!!! I was out of town when my husband used them! They quoted him 200-300 dollars to fix our two fridges (3 parts)... 1193.85 later they were so nice (lol) to give us a 300 dollar discount. Bill came out to be 893.16!! way over charged!!Then less then a week later one of the three parts they replaced broke!! Trying to get them back to fix it was a joke! The service window was quoted anytime before 4. If I am not there by then give me a call Was not there we called. He said he would be there before 7... was not there again. Finally was able to get him over to fix the heater.When he left the floor was dirty and the sink was filled with dirt left from his stuff.

He could have called and rescheduled, but he kept to his word and that is all there is you need to know about him.

We easily scheduled an appointment on Wednesday evening for a Friday afternoon (which is great, compared to some other vendors with whom you need to wait at least a week from today to have an appointment) . Our technician Igor arrived on time as promised, took a quick look at our fridge and figured out the problem within 5 minutes. The motor needed to be replaced and he already had it in his truck, so the replacement was done on the spot, with no need for an additional visit. The price was very reasonable compared to other companies we have considered, and we even got a discount! Igor explained the whole process in detail and also calculated the total step by step, before he started the actual work, so we were well informed and prepared. My home warranty company had no one who could work on Samsung refrigerators so I had to find my own repairman. This company said that they would work wth them and handle even the authorization for repair. James came out and diagnosed the problem right away. He dealt patiently with a lengthy phone call to the Warrenty company to get me authorization for repair. James was efficient, courteous, and was very patient (to a nontechnical person) while explaining the issues at hand. I was so impressed that I called Bobby, his manager, to share my great experience. But sadly, I never received a return phone call after two messages left with him. Otherwise, I would have given a 5 star rating.

We had a leaking refridgerator after we returned from vacation. Not really sure who to call we found this odd jobs service on the web and gave it a chance. We were very happy with the service call. Orest G. was sent out promptly, we recieved a text that he was on the way, and he came on time, and the job was done in under an hour. It was a $350 repair which is a lot, but it is in line with what other people I know have paid for appliance repair and he was polite, prompt, and didnt leave a mess which is a huge bonus. We will use them again for other handyman issues. Oreck is an appliance specialist so he gets sent out for those service calls, another person does carpentry, another does electric. I like the idea of one stop shopping and it being easy for once.
