Ripoff artist. They give your request to a 3rd party to complete. Never heard from the 3rd party and I cant seem to cancel and get a refund. Im getting the runaround. Will NEVER use them again for anything.

Sear was hired to go to a house that I rent to look at the stove. They emailed me and texted me to tell me they were on the way. I had explained to them there were tenant and they were supposed to call me to tell me what was wrong, and how much it would cost to repair, but instead the repair man spoke to my tenant who is elderly with dementia. He did the work without asking and charged me $386. I have timed stamped emails from sears- the arrival time, the “approved” work estimate which I never approved, and the final invoice. The man was in our house for 20 minutes. I was charged $112 for a $29 part. So I am assuming they charge approx $600 an hour for labor? After I stopped payment on the check they immediately sent meTo collection with no discussion. I have been in contact with collection company And they haven’t even been able to get any answers fromthem.

Even when I know what is wrong with my appliances, they come to my home to see for themselves. It takes time to schedule an appointment and to take off from work to be home. They then tell me what I already know, have to order the part and reschedule. When they have diagnosed the problem, half the time theyre wrong which costs more time and money. The last time they sold me a whole house warranty. I was told that all of my appliances, even if theyre old will be covered. It was a bit pricey, but I thought it was great. That is, until I called for a repair and they told me that nothing on the appliance doors are covered, so the dishwasher dispenser I needed wouldnt be covered. Are you kidding me?! Needless to say, I was beyond furious and cancelled the contract. Never again.

Highly disappointed and have to escalate so that it doesnt happen to anyone else!Situation is as follows:1.Washer breaks - I youtube the issue to discover the small piece needed to be fixed but decide to rely on professionals.2. Call Sears- Informed in will be $109 service tech fee plus the part. Reps says if the part cost $10, your total will be $1193. I explain the washer is older and if its too much it wont be worth it to repair.4. Rep books appt and tech arrives. Which means no matter what I am charged $1095. Tech diagnosis is exactly what I youtubed. Small piece needs to be replaced.6. Tech then adds additional labor fee of $1427. Grand total $277 to fix or be charged $109 regardless.8. The part only cost $26 and the time only took 5 minutes to fix.9. Grand total paid $277. I was falsely provided a different amount and not informed of additional hidden fees.I am reporting to BBB

We are trying to get someone back out. The seal that was installed in the refrigerator door does not fit; it has ripples and bumps. Condensate is dripping from the ceiling of the refrigerator onto everything.
