Disappointed. 2 stars because the place is pretty clean, fairly reasonably priced and the other clients seemed happy. They also have a great color selection and the receptionist is great. My tech was super distracted, didnt listen to my requests or really even bother to ask.I wanted short round nails with tips and dip powder and asked to not be too aggressive with the drill or do buffer only because my nails and thin and sensitive. I also had clear polish on that I mentioned twice and he didnt bother to try and remove before trying to glue the tips on (of course one of them almost immediately fell off).He ended up going over one my nails 4 different times with the drill because he was trying to use the dip powered I picked out as if it was acrylic. Eventually he realized what happened but used the drill instead of acetone to remove it. Then he never asked what shape I wanted and proceeded to give me these very crooked square nails till I finally realized he was trying to wrap up and wasnt going to ask. He ended up fixing the shape but it looks pretty messy.Also, health hazard heads up. I was not asked to even wash my hands nor was alcohol used on my nails before he dipped my fingers directly into the powder container. Additionally, the file boards used are not switched out or even cleaned between customers which is extra disappointing during COVID times.I dont think these are going to last and my nails are super sore. Im a little disappointed I didnt follow my urge to get up and leave in the first 10 minutes.

I love love love LA BONA nails. Amy is AMAZING...check out her work for my halloween nails. My nails always look great, I appreciate the consistency and the attention to detail everyone puts in. The entire staff is friendly and polite. The salon is very clean, I feel safe with the measures they have in place with Covid-19.I will never go to another nail salon.

Just got done doing my nails and they’re terrible. Some of my nails are lumpy. I asked for a full set with gel polish and almond shaped. My nails are all different sizes. Like I want to know why the nail tech thought that my nails looked fine. I’ve gave this place so many chances and I’m always so disappointed. I’m literally going to go home and soak my nails.

Service was ok. The was doing my nails, kept messing up but saying it was my fault. No he just didnt cover my nails properly with the gel color 😒

A little pricey but definitely worth it!

Jenny gave me the absolutely BEST pedicure that I have ever had! My feet took some extra time & patience and she gave them every second that they needed! No complaints or dirty looks and not at all rushed like I am used to from other places! Amy did an awesome job with my eyebrows and a PERFECT nail design on both of my big toes!! I agree with others that you cannot possibly beat the quality & price! For the first time in as long as I can remember... I TRULY enjoyed my time at this salon!

I have never had a pedicure that was as meticulous as this place and I’m 41. I like that i don’t have to choose from a book of pedicure variations. It’s a pedicure and it’s done brilliantly! I also got ombré nails and it’s also the first time i have kept nails on to make it to a fill in. They don’t hurt or feel tight on my fingers. Simply beautiful. This will definitely be my new spot. Glad i found them.

I have visited this place several times! I am NEVER disappointed! I love coming here! They are very welcoming, the place is clean and everyone is friendly! Go check out all the services they offer and get treated the right way, you will LOVE it! Currently getting a pedi! :-)

I moved to the area and I’m pleased to say that I’ve found my go to nail salon! Ive been here a couple of times with different technicians and I’m very pleased with my experience. I paid $75 for a gel matte finish French manicure and regular pedicure, $50 for a gel manicure with regular pedicure. Although not the cheapest in the area, definitely recommend it! The massage chairs are the best, the staff is super friendly and accommodating! They never try to pressure or up-sell. I brought in a picture of this manicure and although Jennifer had never done it before, she did an amazing job! This is not a place to go if you want fast and cheap. It takes time to do quality work and it’s worth paying for!!!! Thank You!

I’m be been going to La Bona for more then a year now. I came here because my previous salon Del Rey Nails treated me with great disrespect and I’d been going there for years. Met with Amy the manager and her work is flawless. I wanted lashes eventually and they were great, but the front desk staff... worthless. I went elsewhere for my lashes, but the quality & price here can’t be beat. I’m a Wardrobe Consultant so I’m very picky. Amy takes the time needed to do perfect nails and my lashes are always on point! She knows me, pushes me outside of my box, (which is difficult and important), comes in early for my appointments (8am.. going there now). Highly recommend any of the girls for nails and Amy for nails & lashes! Also worth noting, you can get colored lashes as well. Primary colors and browns. Love it! 5 stars for Amy, 4 for the front desk.. maybe 3!

I was impressed by how professional and great the work was. The shop itself is gorgeous! I live in Maryland and try to stay local.... but I will be going back to this VA shop very soon.

Honestly amazing. Probably the best pedicure of my life. Very nice and welcoming staff. No loud TVs or conversations. Very cozy, clean and relaxing environment. Complimentary water and such. Classical music. Above and beyond services, truly a spa. I won’t be going anywhere else.

Went to venture out to get a mani/pedi today. When I arrived one of the male employees who was coming out, could have pushed the door Open from the inside to come out, Instead He stood there and waited for me to open the door for him.. This was off putting and I felt that the employee was rude. He stood outside the door and smoked. He moved away from the door when a very nice woman came out to ask if everything was ok.I didn’t get a good feeling about going there today, some people had masks, some didn’t.I am in my 60’s and have been very careful with wearing a mask and social distancing.In the past this was a favorite nail place of mine.. but not today.

First, I want to compliment them on their decent customer service, nice salon and decent prices. Ok now the reason I gave them only 2 stars was because I went in for a fill in/ pedicure and had to wait 15 min when there were only about 4 other customers there, but that wasn’t the worst part. The nail tech seemed inexperienced.When I finally sat down I requested a spa pedicure to which she responded that she only does the basic and can request someone to else to do the pedicure. I agreed. Only for her to never request for someone to come do as I requested and continue with the basic pedicure. She also applied several coats of nail polish on my toes leaving my toenails looking bubbly and as if I didn’t pay for them to be done professionally. She also left before she could finish or fix the problem. Even with having a semi- horrible experience, I am still giving them 2 stars because of the awesome and sweet nail tech (Jennifer) who came in and corrected her mistakes. After dealing with that, I canceled the fill in because they didn’t even offer exactly what I was looking for. First time there and it will be my last

I enjoy going to La Bona. Its nice and clean, which is important. The nail technicians always do a good job! I especially like when Tracey does my nails. She is great!

Love this place, Amy is very talented and always does what I ask for! Never once has she cut me or made my experience anything but perfect. Definitely recommend this place and her!

La Bona has a wonderful salon very clean clean.and beautifully decorated. The staff is excellent and they pay attention to detail. Jennifer gives an excellent pedicure and manicure.

Not very Pleased! Its crazy how prices change when u go each time...if u want consistency this is not the place to go, or either make sure u keep track of how much ur services should cost...I go one time its 58 and the next its 94!!! The only difference was the polish which that is a twenty dollar difference....but I guess Im not supposed to be able to do math! So beware! I will not be going back GOOD LUCK to everyone else

5 stars for the owner and the staff/nail technicians....until the past 3 visits where i have to be greeted by the receptionist( young girl, indifferent, not knowing that customer service is key in a service industry), poss owners daughter...just rude with poor customer skills.anyway, good luck with this salon, I appreciate female empowerment and leadership....but you have lost a customer.

I tried a dipping powder manicure here for the first time ever and, although I admire the process and that it promotes nail health, I noticed that some parts of my nails were bumpy and looked bubbled. I love the idea of dipping powder as an alternative manicure option, but the finish isnt what I expected.
