I am a relatively new patient of Dr. Tonya Walston. So far shes the best psychiatrist Ive ever seen. She knew exactly what treatment was the absolute best for me. With medication treatment combined with the excellent talk therapy, I feel like I really am getting the best mental health care. Thank you Dr. Walston. I recommend her in the highest regard.

I work with Dr. Walston and Nora Vassar and I have had an amazing experience with both. They always hear me and my concerns fully and just do an outstanding job. I had never had much luck with mental health providers and found it to not be helpful but they have changed that for me. The strides they have helped me take are amazing and I love that theyre doing such an amazing job virtually.

Ive been meeting with providers here for a few years now. I really appreciate how it feels really uncomplicated to get the help you need. I dont ever feel pressured to meet with providers too often or too infrequently. Would definitely recommend.

Terrible service. I had an appointment on 7/6 and I waited, in-line, for 38 minutes and no one ever showed. This is after my appointment was confirmed twice. I have since emailed, and called, left voicemails and no one has gotten back to me. The icing on the cake is yesterday I was charged for the appointment. I have again, emailed twice and called and left voicemails and nothing. I spent time in the hospital, and when the hospital called to see if I could be seen, as Dr. Waldron is my psychiatrist, she was too busy to even try and make accommodations. Just disappointing service, lack of care, and very unprofessional office staff.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Walston for a few years and really value how professional, efficient, and engaged she is. Her staff is always organized with scheduling and appointment reminders, and immediately responsive when I reach out. I love the convenience of online appointments and really appreciate that Dr. Walston always begins our appointments on time.

I have had a very good experience with Dr. Walston. Her office is quick to respond with all my questions and concerns, and her care is excellent. Her virtual options have made having appointments with her very easy and convenient.

I HAD AN ALLERGIC REACTION TO MEDICATION AND HER ADVICE TO ME WAS TO JUDGE WHETHER THE ALLERGIC REACTION WAS RELATED TO A NEW MEDICATION THAT SHE PRESCRIBED ME!!! AND THATS JUST ONE INTERACTION I HAD WITH HER. SHE IS LITERALLY THE WORST PSYCHIATRIST I HAVE EVER MET!!! IVE BEEN SEEING PSYCHIATRIST FOR 6 YEARS NOW AND IVE NEVER MET ANYONE WITH LESS EXPERTISE AND PROFESSIONALISM THAN HER. ALL SHE IS DOING IS COLLECTING A CHECK FROM YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY!! DO NOT, DO NOT GIVE THIS WOMAN YOUR BUSINESS BECAUSE YOU WILL BE HIGHLY, HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED.

Dr. Walston is great! Her office provides the convenience of being able to meet via video conference, which is great for my busy Student Nurse schedule. They send you reminders and keep in great contact with you wether it be by phone or email. I’ve had an overall great experience with Walston Health services and will gladly continue to be a client.

I have known Dr. Walston for many years. She is a wonderful doctor , she is supportive and caring and listens to me when I speak. She has also been flexible with payments and any other issues that arise.

Disappointing and Not Useful Appointment. Dr. Walson is not a MD. She is a Psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I wanted to have my daughter enter her practice but our first appointment started with Ms. Walson looking at the current medications prescribed and proclaimed them as fine and not in need of change. This was before any exam or discussion took place. She made a recomendation to stay with our current MD because a lot of people cant get appointments there and then refused to accept our case. At first the office was very responsive, but later it took days to reply to requests for follow up information.

Very nice, but extremely disorganized. She wouldnt respond to repeated requests to schedule an appointment, telling me shed check her schedule and get back to me. Then she ignored repeated requests both from me and my pharmacy for medication refills, so I eventually ran out and had to quit cold turkey. The cherry on top? A month after this she called to say I hadnt been in the office for awhile and offering to schedule an appointment. I declined.
