I attempted multiple times to schedule appointments with this office. First, you must call to request an appointment, and the procedure is that the receptionist is supposed to call you back to confirm the appointment. It is annoying that I was unable to schedule an appointment with one call and had to wait for a call back. Twice I attempted to schedule appointments, and both times never received any call back. The third and final time I was successfully able to schedule an appointment with an email confirmation. This was after calling about 5 times.The day of my appointment I called to ask if I could adjust my appointment for 15 minutes. I was told no, that the counselor was booked back-to-back and only in DC on Thursdays so I would have to wait multiple weeks for another appointment. If the counselor is meeting clients back to back without even 15 minutes available in between appointments I highly doubt the counseling service could possible be individualized in any way. I was then told I would receive a call back from the counselor to find a resolution to this issue.I did receive a call back, not from the counselor, but from the owner of the practice. She called to tell me the exact same thing the receptionist had: that the counselor was booked, only in DC on Thursdays, and unavailable for multiple weeks so if I needed to adjust my appointment by 15 minutes I would have to wait multiple weeks before I could reschedule. I expressed my frustrations thus far with the procedures of the office and she replied well that is not my fault.Needless to say I will not be attending my appointment and seeking other resources throughout DC. Im sure the counselor is great but I have been trying to schedule a meeting for over a month just to be told by the owner that the issues I have been having with her office are not her fault? Unprofessional. I would suggest the counselor finds a new office to represent him and that anyone reading this review, dont waste your time with this company.
