I called Emergency Line AC is not cooling.The lady who picked the phone she told me is not emergency ask tomorrow office. I dont now What kind service is this. I Explain for her I work maintenance some one need check the Chiller may be need reset but the lady she hang up the phone weird service.This is tell you Bad management no body care about Residents. DO NOT LIVE HERE, on top of the fact that the building is VERY old. There are rats, the elevators are constantly broken, the tenant throw trash out the balcony (reported it and NOTHING got done about it.), you get ONE parking pass for one day and wake up at 6am because they’re ALL gone by 9am (all 5 guest parking passes) it is the worst place I’ve ever lived at.Photos are the garbage from the tenants that live above us.

Tizta represents the company so well that once you meet her, you will want to move in.I work another company Maintenance Manager position But, when i see my experience This Is really Good apartment and Very Close to shopping, Metro Bus, or 395(HOV).Im really happy move here.

Honestly the worst possible place to live. Weve been living here for 8 months in filthy and disgusting living conditions, including but not limited to roaches, rats, faulty HVAC and inconsistent water supply, and when we try to talk or negotiate with the leasing office about it they are dismissive and rude.We have filed an official complaint with the department of health.

I’ve been here for 2yrs now and I can see the improvements. Staff and maintenance are reliable and responsive in a timely fashion. With the pandemic, I’ve seen the buildings have been marked with social distancing tape and flyers along with complimentary hand sanitizer in various places in the lobby. I appreciate the staff listening to concerns and glad to see the improvements because it is a great location and I love my PH apartment and my view!

Dont come here I regret it big time. I been paying rent for roashes and Mice to live with me. I even asked the manager before I signed my lease dos the apartment has roshes she said no no no. The first night I spent it here I woke up in the middle of the night because a roshe was walking in my face. So please dont make that mistake.

Today morning 9:15AM (Tuesday 1st September 2020) my mom was coming inside with her 2 kids and a couple bags but unfortunately she forgot the key(Fob) for the downstairs front main entrance, the lady in Reception was there in the front desk and she didn’t open the door for my mom, my mom was knocking the door to let her know that door need to open because the kids are crying but the lady in the reception keep ignoring and looking at my mom.(Mom can’t speak English well)She waited enough time and finally someone else was going inside and opened the door and mom made it inside, then the receptionist stopped mom for a couple minutes in front of other residents and asking for the key very disrespectfully, she was asking for my mom name and Apartment number which is not receptionist’s business and responsibilities, We as family members don’t/never appreciate that kind of attitude from any staff or any citizens. That’s inhuman and disrespectful attitude.

I lived at this property for four years and the only reason I left was financial complications from the covid otherwise I would still be there, management is great,maintenance is great the very few times I had to call them, the concierges were always cordial and helpful ,the all around experience was great ,I will miss it , thanks for the memories.

Lived here for two years and while the location is good in regard to public transportation, access to two schools and groceries by foot - the bugs were non-stop. i actually would leave my kitchen lights on all night so i would not have to see roaches running all over kitchen when i turned light on in the a.m.If they could take care of this serious infestation and have monthly exterminating in all units - this would be a good place to live.

Awful experience would not recommend to my worst enemy. Great location and price, safe area, the apt buildings both are a dump and stink, washing machine never works, dryers will burn your clothes to shreds and nobody can assist you with anything regarding your apartment. This place was great when I was 23 years old just moving to the METRO area but other than that if u can afford it look elsewhere!!!!

The building is full of insects, mice and spiders, the roofs are not safe, six times the roof fell on my apartment and every time I lose the furniture due to the big water leakage, the gym is so old and all the gym equipment is dilapidated and old and makes annoying sounds when in use, the management of this building knows nothing but lying and how they deceive the tenants With false offers, and when you sign the rental contract, they completely forget you.

We have lived here for over 7 years and I can say that the management and maintenance departments have been consistently very good. We keep our apartment clean but somehow, in the past year, we have been seeing more mice (1 per every 3 days) and roaches (2 per day) lately. All of the main hallway carpets on all floors were replaced recently but our floor needs steam-cleaning. The hallway carpet has been getting grimier and dirtier. The washers and dryers on some floors dont work. Our floor has had a broken dryer for almost two months. The management did try to promptly fix the mice issue but the critters found their way back into our unit. I seemed to have fixed the problem using aluminum foil and steel wool. We still love our apartment, the management, maintenance and our neighbors. But we dont want to see the property go into disrepair.

If you are looking for an apartment where the management cares and always ready to help you with any issues. You are in the right place.During this pandemic they have taken precautions to make sure their residents and staff are safe.

Worst service ever. The staff is so rude and when you come in to the building lobby, they lock the door and dont let you in just because you dont have the key. They only give one key per family and expect every member to have it. And even when they open the door, they tell you that you are a visitor and not resident until they check you in the system if your name is on the lease in front of a group of people which is so rediculous. The AC is also broken every month and takes 3-4 days until gets fixed. Laundry machines are just 2 per floor and are broken all the times and have to go to other floors to get laundry done and have to wait for hours for the machines to get free and finally get it done. Overall, apartments are nice but some of the front desk members are extremely rude and dont even listen to what youre saying or have any problem. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

I have a whole family of mices in my apartment. How yall expect me and my family to live in this apartment where there is roaches and mices roaming, like last night the mice was caught by the trap but was still managed to get away in time. Fool Smh

Very unprofessional people in leasing office, we went to ask for Apt to rent they play loud music in office and giving as details about Apt we couldn’t hear them and showing no interest for renting.

Born and raised in Washington, DC and before moving back from Atlanta, GA these towers was one of the first apartments I thought of but as I pulled into the parking lot and seen the visible trash scattered throughout the lot and some weird thing by the dumpster the doubt start to settle in. Quickly, while in the parking lot something said research their google reviews and thank goodness I did! Thank you all for saving me from the rats, mice and roaches!!!

We had a great experience with Seminary towers apartment management. Joshua is always helpful, outgoing and professional. Convenient place to 395/highway. Always nice and clean building, friendly staff, great service. We had to leave this place for business purposes. But im pretty sure if we ever have to choose to live in apartment again we will come back here with no doubt.For those who had some complains about their service and care about A/C or anything else little Patience please.

Been a resident for a year and a half. The bathrooms and kitchen have no ventilation. I called in an issue with black mold in my AC unit. James at the office forgot to have maintenance take care of. I had to call back in a month later. We also went two days without hot water and were not offered any compensation or portion off our rent. There are also mice in the building. They will come to “fix” it which is just a band aid fix. You will end up seeing a mouse again later. The elevators are outdated. The common area is dirty. Management wants you to have leniency with them but do NOTHING to try to accommodate the tenants.

Apartment is over priced. Best thing about it is the location. It is convenient. While I was viewing the apartment before move in, I was told the hallway closet will be fixed, the dirty blinds will be changed, the kind of old mirror in the bathroom will be changed. When I pointed the leakage spots (signs) on the roof in the bathroom, I was told it will be taken care of. None of them happened. I moved in anyway. The stove and dish washer were dirty too. I can hear my neighbors conversation from my bathroom. The bathroom roof got fixed after it broke loose and water and dirt messed up my bathroom. The worst part, oh the worst part is when/if you have overnight visitors. For the whole 4801 building, there are only 5 guest permits a night. One time I went to the lobby to get a permit around 7 in the morning, I was kind of laughed at. I was told permits are given out at 6am and all gone by 6:20am. Another day I went down to the lobby at 6am, all permits were already gone (actually this happened this morning). No street parking because that needs permit too. For the price youre paying here, better start looking somewhere.

The washing machines stay broke; its noisy with neighbors stomping around over your head; kids running over your head and through the hallways; roaches and rats. You pay all this rent and the best thing about living here is the quick service you get from the maintenance folks. Assistant Property manager is rude and heartless.

Very bad experience. Im resident here for a 3 month and my lease expires in 9 month. I just bought car and they didnt want to give me parking sticker which is my right as resident. They gave my parking sticker to other person who is not resident so I need to take guest parking permit every day at 6am. Im very disappointed, they dont care about residents. I DO NOT recommend this place at all. In first day staff members want talk friendly when you we sing the lease after that they dont care for the residents I really do not recommend this place at all.

Very convenient however since the property management are paying for electricity they dont turn on the AC on time, spring and fall seasons living in this place is like living in hell. Specially if your windows face to the west your apartment scores up to 95 degrees, Im talking about when out side is low 60s. this doesnt bother the management at all

As a current resident of this apartment, I highly recommend individuals or families to question whether or not they enjoy living with mice before deciding to move in. I’ve complained on multiple occasions and management will not attack the problem at the root. I’ve formally complained to the city. Alexandria city residents should not be forced to live in these conditions due to management’s negligence.

I live here for 10 months. I let the office know multiple times that I would not be renewing my lease due to my mail being stolen by the staff, and generally bad living conditions. When staff told me that I had not reported in writing to them that I would not be extending my stay here past my lease date, the property manager tried to bully me and claim I was responsible for 2 months of rent in addition to the end of my lease date because they had not received a written letter stating that I would not be renewing on a month to month basis 60 days prior to the end of my lease. This place stinks of trash in parking lots, stained carpets, roaches, bugs, terrible dust and noise from the highway. Please do yourself a favor and check out the Southern Towers just across the highway or Skyline just down the road. More affordable and much better living conditions.

Building inside is so dirty. Each apartments have mice I have found 1 dead mice in my apartment and management cannot solved mouse problem. dont move to this property you can find better place for the rent you paying monthly They use perfume for lobi entrance dont believe it there clean. I will move out this place by next month

These staff are so unprofessional and disgusting! The people in the office specifically Joshua and all other office staff have been so rude to me and my husband. At first Joshua was nice to me seamed like he cared about my problems and sent the management as soon as I told them about the mice and roaches, then it never got solved when the maintenance man that he so called “trust” came and I asked the man if he was going to put traps for the mouse(s) there are 3 mouses in my apartment and I have a 5 month old son! So the maintenance guy said he was going to and after he left there was nothing for the mouses. So I write Josh an email basically explaining to him that they lied and it’s so sad that I have to worry about my son. He emails be back and tells me he wants to come that same day to make sure that the traps that “I” bought with my own money were in the correct places. I didn’t receive the email at that time and they came banging on the door really hard and then grabbing the door handle and trying to open the door they came 2 times that day. Which yeah it sounds like they really care but I didn’t get no notice which tells me that they are coming and I also didn’t respond to his email for him to come trying to open my door! The first time they came banging on the door I didn’t even get the email from josh! When josh was banging on the door I told him to go or I’m gonna call the police because I don’t have a notice and then after that he was still banging on the door!!!! So we decided we’re gonna move earlier than expected because we cannot stay in this apartment even though it looked like they were trying to help they just weren’t. We went to the office to talk to josh and tell him we’re gonna give him the keys on the first and he was like you still have to pay for the 7 days blah blah blah then I brought up the whole rat situation and he said that I wouldn’t let him in the apartment and I was like no you told me that anyone who tried to come to the apartments needs notices. He said no that’s only for management. Okay lying again that’s fine ! He then started being so rude to us after he was trying to be the so called “ nice guy” that he apparently was in the first place! If you are looking to rent here don’t! Also don’t rent apt# 1222 on 4701 because I’m telling you now there is roaches and mice in here and you’ll be scared to sleep at night. They listed it for 1725$ when we only pay 1490$ so don’t waist your money on an apartment your gonnna be stuck in for another year or however long your lease is with rats and roaches. Josh since your reading this don’t reply saying that you can come to the office and talk it out like you put on other peoples reviews. It’s just a waste of your time and mine!

The entire building smells like cat litter. I went for a tour and there was a dead bug in one of the rooms. Most of the elevators were out of order and the one that worked was so disgusting, scratched and dented. The ceiling fan in the elevator was caked in dirt and dust. There is also a beat up van in the parking lot with a flat tire.

The west building smells really bad, it has been a while now but still no one seems to work on it.I’m really embarrassed to invite friends over, since they have to encounter a non pleasant experience in lobby and elevators with that smell.

Best management very friendly place to live my 4th year here the only comment to submit will be please change the towing company operate in the property* without any verification they tow resident parked car and charge where ever they want total robbery* night time without company uniform or accompany with security guard not wearing vest looking trough resident car /property completely wrong and dangerous .* the place where they park after impound is not healthy there Coustemer service the worst of the worst .Generally this is very nice community to live and we do have the best management please check all the review written about the tow company you contracted with .They need to straight the way they operate .

Do not live here if you like having the heat or AC turned on at the appropriate time. Since the leases do not include electricity, they will switch over to heating as soon as possible, which uses gas they dont have to pay for, and leave it on as long as possible during the winter months. The end result is coming home to an 85 degree apartment during the fall and spring, when the 80 degree temperature outside should warrant leaving the AC system on. The actual thermostat does not control anything other than when to kick the fans on; whether heat or cool comes out is entirely up to the staff.

I stayed here from Jan 15 to Jun 15 during my relocation from Cleveland to the DMV. I loved it and miss the place. Some of the best months of my life.

Move here if you want your roommates to be roaches, rats, bed bugs, tics, and any other outside creatures. Also move here if you want to deal with terrible management style and liars. Although, I cant decide whos the most incompetent. Id say it was a tie between Dillon McCoy (Accounts Manager) who is the guard dog for the GM, Joshua Ettedgui who hides from residents, or the previous GM Kelvin who was let go for probably doing nothing. So a brief summary of this wasteland listed below:Front Desk= Trash. They never know anything because they are outsourced.Apartments = Trash. Dirty carpet, feces and urine raining from the bathroom ceeling, tics, maggots, broken closet door, destroyed blinds, thin walls, etc.Parking Spots = Trash too smallMail = Trash they never will give you a notification of your packagesPool= Trash witnessed someone giving 0 f***s and squatting next to the pool and defacating into the water. No amount of chlorine is going to make that pool clean.Trashroom = Super Trash. They let it build up for two weeks so the roaches and rats can have a WWF matchup on who gets the most food. Disgusting but strangely entertaining.Residents = Meh. Look I dont mind kids, but I mind them when they are playing ditch your doorbell every night and screaming at the top of their lungs on a Tuesday at 11pm. O yea dont leave your house too late to avoid being accosted by a crackhead who will ask you for money or drugs. A nice welcome to the neighborhood.In conclusion, Seminary Towers would be doing a grave justice to everyone if they would just shut down. Even though the staff deserves 5 Stars my overall experience for my so called new home was the worst. As i walked into my new home my face went from a smile to a frown. My first impression was a big disappointment. From cabinets, closet doors being broken and off track, missing light bulds, barley hanging blinds in the bedrooms, rusted balcony floor, refrigerator shelfs being taped on, dead roaches on the kitcken floor, leaking dishwasher to many more. There was a sense of urgency while i was expressing my frustration BUT BEING THAT THIS IS SUPPOSED TO BE MY NEW HOME THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN WALKED THROUGH BEFORE I EVEN MOVED IN. Never have i experienced this before and for the amount of rent Im having to pay i felt that i should have been given something back in return. My move in date was the 15th and till today the 25th Im still not moved in due to issues that are still being resolved. Super sad, disappointed and angry.

The first day when I move in I found cockroaches in my apartment. the second week when I was there, the hot water is not supplying for two days, so I have to go to hotels to take shower. Half of the management team is ok, and other half is mean. if you want to live here, think twice, unless you dont care much about roaches and mean people here.

Ive been living here for 6 months, and while the place is definitely livable, in that time, weve had a number of very disappointing experiences. The latest is major construction with workers slamming doors all day long, for two weeks long, on either side of our apartment, with no notice of the project given in advance. Weve had our water turned off, midday, also with no notice. Our newly renovated place has doors with handles falling off (we were stuck on our balcony as a result, and they told us it would take 2 hours or more to get someone to help us and it was 25 deg F outside), a shower door with no weather stripping (slipped and fell on the tile outside the shower), outlets that dont work, and thermostats that keep the place at either 50 deg F or 85 deg F and we have to regulate it ourselves by opening windows. Some of the desk staff are very rude and lazy (dont actually place maintenance requests when you ask them to and they yell at you when you hold the front door open for people with many bags of groceries, but they allow solicitors to come in, walk the halls, and slip pamphlets under your door). The walls are super thin, so you can hear kids at all times of the night squealing, peoples conversations down the hall, and basically anything going on outside. They start yardwork at 7:30 am, so I hope you dont like sleeping in. Weve had mail go missing or never arrive, along with other peoples mail in our box. They never fixed any of the issues we cited in the initial walkthrough. The list goes on.
