Can’t say enough about the technician Christian. He was patient and explained everything to me in a way that I could completely understand. He took his time and checked my system and repaired it without any problem. The office staff was very accommodating when I told them that my 91 year old father lived with me and the house was becoming uncomfortable. She dispatched Christian right away. R and B was recommended by a friend who was retired from the industry after 50 years. He said they were the best and they proved him right. Highly recommend them!

It is really hard to find a consistently high quality and reputable company that always gets the job done. R & B has helped us through multiple HVAC problems and upgrades over the years for a great price. A recent example, the home warranty company we got with the purchase of a new house sent two other companies out to our house who failed to identify any problem and left us in 85° heat for weeks. We called R & B who came out within 48 hours, quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty condenser fan capacitor, and restored cooling within an hour. R & B also completely replaced the HVAC in our split-level older home and rebalanced all of the heating and cooling perfectly so we had a consistent temperature on all floors. I am a very happy customer. Just had my entire HVAC systems replaced. I had three other quotes and some cheaper but David Snyder from R&B had a systems approach for the entire house and worked with me to understand the unique aspects of my system and house and existing duct system and how to best accommodate the upgrade. Andrew the lead technician for installation work was awesome as was Steve who led the duct work. David stayed in touch the entire time the work was being done and worked a couple of issues very quickly. These guys were responsive and professional and i am thrilled with the work they did. R&B saved me $6000. We have a condenser on the 4th floor of our town home and I woke up in the middle of the night to find water coming through the ceiling of our master bedroom. I called an emergency service to come take a look. They immediately went for the hard sell and tried to get me to commit to complete replace right then and there.I called R&B to provide a second opinion. Stay away! This company is in business of collecting service fees. As they had good reviews here, we contacted them back in June to take a look at our AC system and give us a quote. A technician showed up a few days later, charged us $106 service fee and left saying that someone would contact us with a repair estimate. After listening to crickets for a month despite our numerous phone calls, we had to hire a different contractor. So, basically, we paid $106 for them to show up their face and then disappear. I am not sure who writes all of these positive reviews here, but our experience with them was completely disappointing.

The employees @ R & B bend over backwards to help. On the phone, they are always pleasant & do their best to find a time that meets your needs. The technical service people that come to your home are careful, efficient & knowledgeable.

Jorge of R&B came to us yesterday for regular maintenance of our cooling system. As always, he was on time, professional and polite. Given the COVID-19 precautions, both we in the house and he as the visitor complied with the new requirements, but did not let them get in the way of doing the necessary. It is always a pleasure to welcome this fine fellow to our house!

Our upstairs air conditioning unit stopped working yesterday around dinner time. Called the overnight service and left a message. Person on the other end was super helpful and professional. The issue is that my 96 year old mother lives with us and I can’t afford for it to get so hot upstairs. The lovely lady on the answering service annotated that and before 8:00 AM today I got a call from Paulette from R & B and she said someone would come out today between 2-6 today. Jose was here before 3:00, assessed the situation and fixed it lickity split. It required him to go up in our sweltering attic but he did not hesitate. Recommended to me by a friend who is very particular - I was looking for an honest HVAC company and having the hardest time as many of these contractors in NO VA are crooks. R&B Incorporated came out on time, diagnosed the situation correctly and showed up at the appointed time with the new air conditioner unit at a fair price. The installation team was polite, knowledgeable, and did a craftsman-like job, and cleaned up 100% afterwards. My wife commented They were the Best. I examined their work and its very professional. See the photos - they silicone seal the humidifier to the coil and supplied us with a clean out trap and brush (most HVAC installers would not bother with these small but significant details). This sort of works defines them as professionals.Five stars for them and I will use them in the future as well.

My experience has been great. Two times now they have fixed my heat pump unit 3 years apart - different issues. I expect to get even more years out of my AC system now that they have repaired it. Everyone I have met so far has been honest and the prices are fair. I will seriously consider them when it does come time to replace my system in the future.

Weve been seasonal maintenance customers for 15+ years. The technicians who visit change from time to time but the work is consistently awesome.

They’ve installed 2 AC units and a water pump. Every crew that has come to the house is courteous, knowledgeable and professional. This last service I give a shout out to Ray and Andrew, true professionals and so clean in installing my attic AC unit you would never know they were at the house.

My air conditioner stopped working on Saturday. I called these folks and a technician was at my house by 7:30 am the next day. Outstanding service! They get my highest recomendation.

Installation of a new, tankless water heater was A+. The entire R&B team was efficient, polite, conscientious, and did a nice clean up.

I got quotes from several major HVAC companies located in the Northern Virginia area to replace a central air conditioning unit in my high-rise condo. R & B was both the nicest people of all to deal with, (no attitude, just a professional and refreshingly friendly approach - treating their customers like family) and they were the least expensive quote as well! They did the work quicker than I expected in a neat and clean fashion, answered all of my questions and provided a finished result that was outstanding. I highly recommend them.

R & B heating and air conditioning was so obnoxious today, I cannot imagine anyone would want to have something to do with them. As I told their manager, they make Comcast look great.They were rude.They said they would come out but call first, but they did not call first and then they yelled at me.Then, they did the exact same thing a second time in the same day!All this after someone rushed home to meet them.Avoid at all costs unless you like being treated like crap.

These guys replaced my condos HVAC at a competitive price. They even added a second short return duct to improve circulation and balance the air flow so the new unit wouldnt choke out early the way the old one had. Its been over a year, and when I called to have a quick inspection done for the HOA they were friendly and able to get me in the next day. While their pricing isnt the lowest Ive seen its extremely aggressive for the quality of service. Definitely the top value Ive experience.
