It was always a great awesome feeling when I was there for my oils change , inspection or emissions. They do their job prompt and accurately. Ali the inspection and emissions guy is very nice and doing very quickly his jobs and all the personal over there is very respectful and helpful. I have recommended to everyone to doing there next job in liberty.

Recently had emissions test done at Liberty. By far the best customer service in the Alexandria/Springfield area. Everyone is always respectful, polite, and professional; the service is prompt as well. I am willing to wait for service here if they are busy (which is never more than reasonable). I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation . The service manager was friendly and helpful in explaining my options . They took my car in exactly at the time of my appointment and I was done in less hour. This station is kept clean and usually not crowded. I like that during the day as its easy to get in and out. The price is right for gas ($2.99), I have no complaints.

Great customer service, honest and truthful (women you don’t have to fret or worry) they checked car my car thoroughly for a safety inspection and brought attention to very important and useful information. They have provided service and extended service to fix both of my cars from their own personal POC’s. I stopped by to get a emissions inspection. It was first come first serve, so I was worried I would be there forever. Luckily, I was only second in line, so I waited less than 30 minutes! Every employee I had the pleasure of speaking with were professional and considerate. The waiting area is VERY small so if you are trying to avoid close quarters or are claustrophobic, this place might not be for you. I do hope that they make the minuscule waiting area a bit more welcoming- add a small TV, add somewhat new magazines, put up some informative posters etc. They had a water cooler, but I would suggest allowing coffee or tea from the convenience store, to be given for free for anyone waiting more than 30 mins. All in all, it is a decent place and I would recommend it to most people.

Went for a VA safety inspection. I failed because the technician said my engine mounts were “worn.” Never heard of such a failure and he pointed me to a board with the VA laws for inspection. The law says “broken or missing” engine mounts. I said worn is not broken. It’s an 11 year old car with 180+k miles. He got defensive and said I can take the car for another inspection. I took it down the road to another inspector and he said it was fine. If the mounts are not physically broken or missing it passes. Also, the second inspector found a light bulb that was out that was missed by this technician.My response to the owner: Sorry, I won’t be giving you another chance. While a broken engine mount is unsafe, worn mounts are not. So says the state of Virginia in their inspection guidelines. I’ve worked on my own cars for decades and I know what I’m talking about. I won’t be subject to the rudeness of your technician when i question his opinion. While I accept that it is his opinion, it cannot be justified to fail the inspection. It’s either broken (and a fail) or it’s worn (a pass). His recommendation may be to have them replaced but it’s not reason for a failure. And when the person before me also failed for engine mounts and that this technician failed to find a broken light, it makes me suspect.

Service was outstanding. I got the emissions testing and when I arrived two people were in front of me. The two people in front of me were processed quickly and so was I… Great experience!

Outstanding! Brought in the old clunker for safety and emissions inspections and wasn’t surprised that it failed for an exhaust leak. Marvin, the service manager, was able to replace only the defective components (rather than the entire exhaust system) for a very reasonable price. Everything passed, and I’m back on the road with a legal (and quieter) vehicle. I can’t recommend Franconia Service Center highly enough. Thanks!

I cant say enough good things about Franconia Service Center. They do excellent and thorough work, and are honest and experienced. Weve had situations where theyve even told us a service we booked wasnt needed! Its great to have a company we trust that cares about the community.

The only reason I took away a star is because the young man at the front desk wasnt courteous. The wait was longer than he originally said because someone else had gone ahead of me. Having said that, the man who worked on my car was very apologetic, professional & worked quickly when I told him I was waiting for over an hour. Theres a bench outside to wait. The McDonalds is next to it, if you want them to text you when ready. I actually had someone just walk over to get me a few years ago. When the service is completed, you pat at the little store attached to the repair with friendly staff.

I had my oil changed, battery and brake fluid replaced. Mechanics provide timely updates and explanation of recommended work. Im docking them a few stars because the person handling payment in the main gas station shop (not the mechanic/workshop) wasnt wearing a mask, which seems pretty reckless and disrespectful of customers who may not yet be vaccinated or have health conditions.

My experience with Liberty Franconia Service Center has always been a good one. Kendall is generally the first person you see in the beginning whom is always professional and my experience with the Mechanic Frank has always been great too. Even though Kendall was not present on my most recent experience the gentleman who takes your information for your ticket for repairs to be performed was good and professional as well. I would definitely recommend anyone to give them a try for your repairs on your vehicle.

I used to work near there and get my gas from there, so it was natural to start getting my car repaired there, too.They always give excellent service! They also work with me if there is a budgetary problem and let me know if something may come up in the future, like if the tires are just starting to get worn so I can start keeping an eye on itEven tho I no longer work in that area, I still take my car to Liberty!

I’m giving three stars because of price. I’ve taken my car to frank the mechanic multiple times he’s great! But, I went in for patch this week $38. It’s usually only $15-20 for a plug or patch. I paid it anyway. But, won’t be going back as they over charge their customers.

The front desk staff are very friendly and easy to work with. However, the manager has NOT been very responsive with multiple requests to discuss an issue with a past repair that is under warranty. Initial work is very satisfactory but any issues that may arise from the repairs that require Franconia Service Center Liberty to resolve, they will not be responsive.

Be very careful going here if you received a coupon/promotion.I recently received nearly $600 in repairs from Franconia Service Center. I received a valid coupon for this service center by mail, and the service center rejected it.I was repulsed from using this coupon three times. When I dropped my car off- I was told to bring the coupon when I picked the car up. When I picked my car up, I was told to call in the morning to get a refund for my transaction, when I called to get a refund, I was told I couldn’t get a refund over the phone.Why are they mailing out fake coupons they won’t honor? I don’t know, but I don’t think it’s legal.

Needed an inspection ...did not go to my usual spot; totally regretting it now. There counter person (ken- doll) can not communicate. they failed inspection front brakes ...ok.... but I got locks on the tires .. did not even ask for the key. Anyhow , called them back and they say they did visual. Cant tell the wear amount or they did even right it down. Kendoll gets attitude. Bottom line ... STAY AWAY...its rack it for the old bait and switch...oh you need rotors now...right. they sure want to quote that out $380.. Liberty needs to check this out. Writing Liberty corporate now.

They didnt follow their own posted guidelines of only one customer in the office at a time and no indoor seating. Additionally the mechanic was not masked, even when he was driving my car. Service was fast and affordable but I dont know if I will be back.

I had originally posted a negative review. The manager called me to talk me through the problems I had and he also made it right with me. I have a high amount of respect for any business that takes the time to make it right for customers that have bad experiences. Because of that I will give this station a second chance.

They charge and never did the oil change I requested car oil was full when I went to get the service driving the car a couple days later engine blows no oil all 6 quarts magically disappear they empty it and never replaced it some shops do things to your car to make it have bigger problems so they can get paid these are them type of people

First used the online reservation request and never heard back. Called to make a simple oil change after purchasing a Groupon- person was very nice and asked me for a date preference- he just said come in at 11am. Over 2 hrs until done, had to wait outside (covid policy/small office) and when I got home I found oil sludge on my leather seat!
