Carpet source just completed replacing tile and carpet in my home with luxury vinyl plank flooring and installed new baseboards. it took a while to get the product in (not their fault, everything is on backorder), but through the process, they were great at communicating and rescheduling. Epie and Dillion were easy to work with. very accommodating and knowledgeable. and Andrew and his crew did an amazing job on the install. very professional, on time and really exceptional at their craft. Conscientious owner (Don), good value for attractive carpet! Installers did a good (and fast) job, however they appeared to be contractors and left debris everywhere, even outside. I had to re-vacuum after they left as their vacuum didnt pick up many of the carpet fibers from the installation and had to throw away their water bottles and energy drink can that was left as their trash. Mysteriously my broom outside disappeared about the time of the installation, but perhaps someone else took it (?). I recommend Carpet Source but I would want to know more about their installation crew next time.

My wife and I purchased a home and needed to replace the carpets as soon as possible. Every single company we spoke with didn’t have carpet in stock and some even on back order. So we tried our luck and called Carpet Source and spoke with Don, who was beyond helpful and meticulously guided us through the tear out and install. Luckily, he had a higher quality product in stock and we were able to install within several weeks.Unfortunately, we were on a time crunch and couldn’t wait for his team to do the install otherwise we absolutely would have had them do the work.I highly recommend you give Don a call if you want to replace your carpet. I got a quote from the big box home improvement store (had to pay for quote) and was unamused. $$$ I checked with friends on FB and like 5 people recommended Carpet Source so I messaged them. I got a rough quote in a day, a visit from Don with official (free) quote a couple days later (the quote was nearly half as much for a better carpet) and I paid in full on the spot. I was impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of the whole team. Someone clearly put some careful thought into streamlined business processes. I never got asked the same question twice and the whole team was obviously communicating effectively. Most importantly, the carpet was installed a month earlier than scheduled due to a cancellation (again, great communication) and the bedroom looks like a completely different place! Don and the installer even recommended some home improvements to help protect the carpet. This was easier than I thought it would be by a long shot, much less expensive than I anticipated, and generally pleasant. The product is great, but the experience is often just as important!

We had a luxury vinyl floor installed in four areas of our home, the dining room, kitchen, breakfast area and laundry room. The original tile flooring from 1972 had to be removed. The title removal equipment that was used was impressive. The work was done quickly and with absolutely no mess. The next step was to float the concrete so the vinyl would lay flat. That was a lot of work but the installer did a great job. The entire process was extremely professional with minimal stress on our day to day living. The floor looks better than we expected, feels great walking on bare feet, is easy to keep clean and really updated our home. We got a much higher quality then we could find anywhere else at a very competitive price. Super happy with the entire experience. Thank you Carpet Source! Highly recommend

We chose carpet source because they had almost all good reviews. Unfortunately our experience was not the same. We paid most of the cost up front 5000 to be exact. We were told we would be contacted when the supplies arrived in about two weeks. A month later we called them because there had been no communication. I was told our supplies had arrived the week before and they could schedule our installation for a month later. The installation took 4 days to complete two bedrooms, a hallway, and the stairs. Unfortunately they had not ordered something for the stairs and that would have to wait. Again we were told about two weeks. Again I had to call a month later when I had not heard back. I was again told that the materials had come in the week before. I expressed that I did not expect this process to take three months and that I was upset that I had to chase them to do the work we had paid for. The owner Don was very apologetic and I do believe he cares for his customers. However, I got every excuse as to why there was no communication and why it took so long. Supposedly one employee was fired because of this problem. After speaking to Don he agreed to knock a couple hundred dollars off the total cost I was told he would have billing call me. They still have not a week later so I will again have to chase this company down so we can move on. Thier customer service may have once been very good. Currently it needs a lot of work.

We had an in home consult with Don and he was great. So knowledgeable and understanding with our one year old. The installation team was wonderful. They got the carpet installed quickly and they were so pleasant. We have had our carpet for about 3 weeks now and it has been such a great investment. We are very happy and will be using Carpet Source for future flooring projects.

Very helpful when it comes to picking carpet colors and textures. But thats about the only positive part.The installers were terrible. When removing the old carpet they didnt clean up the old staples. Somehow they even made it into our infants bathroom that was tiled. They accidentally removed a baseboard and their fix was either to use roofing nails or to leave it for us to fix. They also moderately scuffed our wall. They offered to touch it up if we had paint, but their choice of paintbrush was a scrap piece of carpet that obviously was a terrible idea since it got paint on the baseboards. The carpet was also not accurately cut, leaving gaps near the baseboards. There are also lumpy spots under the carpet where i can only guess exists because they ran out of padding.It has taken me four years to even write this review since having such a bad experience. Whenever someone mentions carpet source i cant help but cringe and explain our terrible experience.

Carpet Source gives you the convenience of coming to you rather than you seeking them out. They do have a good product at a competitive price but not necessarily the lowest. I was disappointed in their carpet color selection - they do have a large selection of the most popular color (beige & earth tones) but not a good selection of actual colors (blue, green, wine, etc.) My in home sales rep did a very thorough job of meticulously measuring out the job but when my wife and I wanted to wait a day or so while we discussed our disappointment in color choices he used the used car salesman ploy of if you sign right now I will give you a better deal. I prefer the best deal even if I wait to commit. The best part of the experience for me was their installers, they were great and did their best to accommodate every suggestion and answer every question we had!! The office and sales people speak well of their installers but often go one step further to disrespect other companys installers - I could have done without this. Carpet Source receives mostly 5 star reviews. There are some lesser reviews (like mine) but I found them difficult to find on their website. I am happy with the finished product although it is not my 1st color choice. I would include Carpet Source among the companies I would consider if and when I need flooring installed in the future but would not default to them.I just changed my rating from a 3 to a 4 due to follow up by the owner of Carpet Source. I really believe Dons goal is to exceed the expectations of every customer and he is willing to go to great lengths to achieve that. We got a great product at a fair price. The color is growing on us and I am confident we will enjoy the quality for many years.

From the start, our experience with Carpet Source has been phenomenal. When Tim came to the door for our initial meeting, I was impressed with the tools he had, including the tool to measure our rooms and the computer program that he used to diagram our house and prepare our quote. He answered all of my questions and went out of his way to come back a second time to speak with my husband and me together. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions (unlike some other places). Setting up the time to get our house done was easy and the workers that came to our house were courteous and flexible. They answered my questions, moved our furniture, and left the place looking great. I also met the owner Don, who came to my house shortly after the install because I had a concern with the carpet. I was not expecting the owner to come and I found him to be just as knowledgeable and friendly as the rest of the staff that I had interacted with during the whole process.We shopped around and we found that Carpet Source had great prices. Everything was in one number, which included our carpet, pad, removal of the old carpet and pad, and furniture moving (which MANY places said was extra and would be “a hundred to two hundred probably”). If your looking for excellent customer service, quick installation, & professionalism, then Carpet Source is your place. I had been dealing with the big box stores and the service was horrible, it was gonna take 2 weeks to get someone to come to my house to measure, then I would have to go back to the store and pick a carpet, wait 2-4 weeks for delivery, then schedule the installation which would be an additional 2-4 weeks, it was very frustrating. A friend recommended Carpet Source, I phoned and was able to schedule a measurement the next day, their representative came to my house the next day with carpet samples, I picked a carpet that was in-stock, and was able to have installation the next day. That’s a 2 day turnaround, yes!!!! The staff at Carpet Source were understanding, competent, professional, fast and nice. Highly recommend Carpet Source.

This company and its staff did a wonderful job. We did get some defective grout that was in no way their fault. I was amazed at how fast they took care of our issue that wasnt even their fault. My husband and I are grateful for the excellent, timely work performed by Carpet Source. Tim carefully and patiently helped us to pick out the best type of product in a desirable color for each of the unique rooms in our home. Then, the friendly and professional office staff followed up with clear communication through each step of the process. The installation itself was performed by skilled professionals, who worked quickly and attended to each detail of a complicated installation with admirable talent. Each day the crew cleaned up after themselves and gave us the plan for the following day. The team was on time and considerate of our family, including our young children. While the installation of our laminate and wood floors required a significant number of challenging cuts, the installation was completed two days earlier than expected. It has now been more than six months since our floors were installed, and both types of flooring continue to look beautiful. In summary, we could not be happier with both the quality of the product and the installation process.

Carpet Source, via Tim, installed very nice Stainmaster carpeting on my staircase last Fall. I contacted Tim again to inquire about having laminate wood flooring in my house. I couldnt believe Gabriel installed the flooring all in one day! Gabriel was really, really good. He primed the concrete first because the house, after 24 years, settled. I am very happy with Carpet Source. First, Tim helped us select the proper carpet for our use. Sometimes, the carpet you want isnt the best carpet for your needs. Tim helped us select a carpet that would stand up to three dogs and foot traffic. Installation was quick, professional, and well-done. I did have some questions about padding, but Don was quick to help me understand the hows and whys of waterproof carpet padding. The best decision I made was to tell Tim what I hated about the old carpet and allow him to guide me to the correct carpet for our particular household. When we set up the first consultation, Tim spent a lot of time asking the RIGHT questions about the old carpet and what I wanted to have in my new carpet. He asked about budget, longevity, and wear patterns. We talked about the dogs and my concerns about periodic accidents. Rather than pour over carpet samples that wouldnt work, Tim was able to take leads from our conversation and show me the best samples for our needs. We had carpet source come in and replace the carpet in one of the rooms of our house. Not only did they replace the carpet, but they did a great job replacing the tack strip that needed to be replaced and also made the seam totally invisible. The crew that installed the carpet was extremely professional and went above and beyond what you would expect from a typical installer. I have been a client of Carpets Sources for 10 years. My first experience with them was for my rental home. We had a pipe break and the insurance company sent a company out that was on their preferred list and they gave me a quote for wood flooring. I had Carpet Source come out and their bid included an entire additional room and it still was less expensive. I then used them for the carpet in my home. They came out and it was so great to have all the choices in their van and be able to put them in the rooms with the various paint colors, etc to make sure they would look good. My favorite experience was my husband and I needed some carpet for a room and we were so limited for time so Carpet Source met us at a sushi restaurant and we chose our carpet while eating sushi!!!!! I also flip houses and buy all my tile from Carpet Source and so do my fellow fliippers!!!Carpet Source is so convenient to use, reasonably priced, the carpet is great quality and they do a great job of installation!!!! Do not use anyone else but Carpet Source for your carpet and tile needs.

I the carpet looks great and the price was better than we could have gotten just about anywhere else in town. We had the rooms the cleared out except for a few pieces of furniture that we were told the installers would help move. They were not as careful as we would have liked moving furniture. Some of our brand new furniture has scratches on it. But the walls are really scratched up now to the point that they will have to be repainted.

I am not one to routinely write a review. On a recommendation, I contacted Don Lavato at Carpet Source. Prior to meeting with him, we went to look at tile at a tile store. We were incredibly overwhelmed with the variety of tile and left with a few samples that ultimately did not work for us. During our meeting with Don Lovato, he asked some appropriate questions, looked at the area we were considering and simply went to his van, got some samples for us to consider. His ability to analyze our needs was exceptional and we made a decision not only for the tile but also for the carpet during this first meeting. It was simple and the recommendations made by Don met our needs very well. It was a very easy decision to go with Carpet Source. We ordered a significant amount of carpet as well as tile for almost all of our entire house. The project started with the removal of existing tile. I was told they had special “dustless tile removal” equipment. I was very skeptical as I know how much dust is involved in tile removal. The removal went as they described. Virtually no dust was generated. I can highly recommend Carpet Source for providing us with ideas to consider on the onset to an excellent final product. As one who is detail oriented, I would easily recommend Carpet Source for any of your flooring needs. The support and follow up during a 2 week period of installation was exceptional. There were a few reasons why I chose this company out of all the others in Albuquerque. The numerous positive reviews, however, commanded a lot of attention. Unfortunately, this turned out to be another one of those companies that gives business in New Mexico a bad name.I arranged a month in advance for the installation, as this is the lead-time I need to get away from work. Don was helpful on the front-end, helping me to choose the carpeting.On the morning of the installation, I get a call from the installer--not Carpet Source--telling me he couldnt make it and that someone else would be found.It took the better part of the day trying to get this confirmed, yet at no point did Carpet Source phone me. Instead, I called them no less than four times, looking for assurance that this job would get done on this day. I was even told at 9:00 am that Don would phone me, but that never happened.Fearing that this wouldnt get done in the course of a day--and knowing it would be another month before I could take a day off--I literally pulled all the old carpet, matting, and glue myself (at no cost savings to me, mind you) and put it in the driveway. It was back-breaking, but I didnt want to risk having the installer come late in the day and end up doing a lousy job, as he might be tired or wanting to go home.Over the course of the day, I was told the installer would be here by 3:00. Come 4:30 PM, no installer. More calls to the company ...Anyhow, the installer eventually arrived, but it was awkward for both of us. I was mad, yet he and I both noted this had nothing to do with him. They did a good job. Through it all, Carpet Source has never called to check-in or to acknowldedge their role or responsibility in all of this. Simply amazing.What really made this painful was the next door neighbors were having flooring done on this same day. Their crew arrived on time and they were completed and gone before my installer ever arrived.So, $4000 for carpet, a day of lost wages, 2 Advil to treat back pain, and the cost of boarding the dogs (what started out being for a day, but turned into an overnight stay). At least its done, albeit into the evening.All I know is that if I ran my business like this, I would be out of business.

I had carpet and tile put in , was a great experience from beginning to end .Great communication with the office staff ,installers were very careful moving my furniture ,and the carpet looks Great !!! . We used the Dust Free tile removal system ,could not believe how it worked WOW . The new tile looks great . Will be using Carpet Source for all my future jobs . Great Work

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS WORTHLESS COMPANY. TIM HICKMAN CAME INTO OUR HOME AND NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE TRIED TO KICK OUR 12 WEEK OLD PUPPY. Said the dog tried to bite him. And he lied, he tried to lick him... I just threw him out of my house.If this is how they do business you do NOT want them in your HOME.!Plus he showed up 15 mins late.

Our salesman from carpet source met us with samples, one of which we chose one. It was a very easy shopping experience. The product was beautiful and high quality at a fraction of what we would have had to pay elsewhere.we are very satsfied customers.We purchased 1200 sq ft of tile from Carpet Source, the experience was smooth and easy. We have a route job that has us all iver the city. Don brought us samples afrer an interview to find out what our needs were. He brought 4 samples 3 of them were close, but the 4th was perfect, he listened to us and made it very easy for us to purchase a high quality beautiful tile.
