I’ve dealt with a few auto detail companies and none compare to Alfredo and his work. Not only does he put out amazing work but he’s incredibly approachable and friendly. Any special requests I had he was able to accommodate for without hesitation. I’ve been looking for someone that does car detailing on Yelp and I found this business on here. I saw and read some good reviews about this business so I made an appointment for a consultation just to see what my car needed. My car in the inside wasn’t dirty but needed a little cleaning. Like my seats, seat belts, dust, deep shampoo carpet cleaning. The day I went for the consultation. Alfredo and I walked around my car inside and out just pointing out details and minor problems that I would like to get cleaned. I felt good on what he was planning on working in my car. Again my car isn’t bad inside. I felt like this man knew what he was doing and he explained to me what he would be doing and I felt like I can trust the man with my car. The day I brought my car in he mentioned to me it will take about a day to work on it. Which to me was fine because he’s just working on one car. I came by picked up my car the car looked nice on the outside. Looked in the inside he missed some areas in the inside but I can wipe it down but again I’m paying someone to detail my car. The reason why I’m giving the gentleman 3 stars is he made my car look good on the outside and in the inside but I noticed that my tint had chipped on all four of my windows. I have never seen those chip markings before hand. Tint isn’t cheap so I was upset. I brought it to his attention he swore it wasn’t him he basically said It’s by me striking my window with my seatbelt I would never take off my seat belt to damage all four of my windows. I don’t have kids. He didn’t offer anything to resolve the issue. Im not the type to leave negative reviews but yelpers should know the truth. I had my high hopes when I left my car with him excited to see my car look brand new again but at the end it was disappointing. Make sure to get a consultation before and take photos or videos of your vehicle.

I actually never went in I had an appointment but unfortunately I had to cancel.. So I really cant review their service I cant I will definitely reschedule and go back.

Alfredo is MAGICWhen I get my cars back from him my husband and I cannot believe the level of detail that goes into his work. We are always so happy and excited to see how perfect our cars look.We dont have the most expensive cars but we like taking care of them. We have a 1 year old little daughter that, just like any kid, likes to make a mess of the car. He gets all of her food stains and everything else out of our car and makes them look better than new.If only he could take the miles off the cars as well so they could be completely new.

I had some horrible water spotting on an black car that I could not get out myself. I was worried my paint might be permanently damaged if I didnt get them taken care of by a professional asap. I found Grime2Shine online, made an appt online for a free consult, and brought my car over to Alfredo within a few days. He was super warm, polite, honest, etc. He gave me two options, one more aggressive than the other and we made a plan to proceed with the lesser aggressive option on a section of the car to see if it would take. To his word, Alfredo sent me photos and descriptions of how the first option as going. He gave realistic expectations, cost, and timelines and I trusted him to go ahead and proceed with the more aggressive option. My black paint came back to life and got the TLC it needed in general with a good polish, wax and sealant - not to mention the water spots are gone. I would never have been able to get the same result myself and the cost was affordable. I hope I never have this same issue but now Ill use Grime2Shine for a any car detail if I need it. Please read to the end!Let me start off by stating that he does usually one car a day and my wife and I will schedule out a couple weeks in advance - which only speaks to his work ethic. He is the complete family man as he works out of his garage to perfect your car and spend time with his beautiful familyYou can tell just by talking to him that he loves his work.I, myself, can spend 8 hours on my car and it comes out looking cleaner than it did. However, I am in no way a professional. I do not have the skills or ability to make my car look like Alfredo makes my car look.Years ago I used to have the monthly subscription to mister car wash and would take my cars almost every other day to the car was on Eubank and Lomas - the Breaking Bad Car Wash. Then after that I took them to a different private detailer that would charge around $400 for a detailed job on my car and I thought he was doing pretty well. I would go to him about once every other month.My wife thought that was too expensive... So after she looked around at different businesses in the greater ABQ area she stumbled upon this place in downtown ABQ pretty much right next to anodyne - the pool hall.I brought my car there and he was trying to tell my wife all of this balogne about what he needed to do to clean my car - the total price was $695. I didnt let him touch my car and after a couple searches my wife finally found Alfredo.The first experience was phenomenal. I was out of town on a business trip and my wife took the car over. Alfredo first let her know when to expect the car to be done and then he drove her back to our house in his car so she didnt have to get an uber/lyft.He was punctual and after I got back and my wife literally wouldnt shut up about this guy I knew we had struck gold. His prices are more than reasonable and when I met him after he was washing our second car he was so excited to show us all the product he used on the car and how he did this and that and how gross the water was that he sucked out of the car after he steam cleaned the entire car.I think his wife was probably wanting him to come inside but we stayed and talked to him for an hour or so after his detail job and I was so impressed.We have 5 Golden Retrievers that we take with us everywhere - so when I say there is hair in the car... there is a ton of hair.My man Alfredo didnt leave one hair. Well to be exactly correct - my wife and I got home and I jokingly saw one of her hairs on the seat and was like man Alfredo missed a spot. Literally one hair and it was my wifes. There was no hair from any of our dogs.Now we have moved to Arizona and are planning a trip in mid August of this year with one of the stops hopefully being Alfredos Grime2Shine home shop.He is quite literally an artist and found his calling with cars. It is amazing what he can do. Our cars come out looking like we got them from the dealership and are driving them away for the first time.I love this guy.Not just best in ABQ but possibly best in the Southwest/Midwest.

I got a new/used truck that had been used as a work truck in the oilfield for 3 years. If you’ve ever worked in SE New Mexico, you know the Sulfur smell that permeates everything. You also realize how the hard-packed makes the stick to everything, inside & out! Alfredo was the least expensive, but in no way the cheapest! He spent 8 hours on it...no more sulfur smell, and it looks like a new truck! I highly recommend G2S! Thanks so much. J

Alfredo and Camille brought the black back in my car. Shiny as the day I drove it off the lot. They work great at getting pet hairs out as well. So if you get 75% of the treatment I received, you will be happy. This is not an easy job and requires a great amount of attention, experience and know-how, all of which were displayed in the finished product. Grime2Shine did excellent work on my car, but they also pay attention to the customer service aspect, explaining the service and cost in plain English. I was very pleased and the cherry on top was a set about 30 before and after photos they took of my car. Very well done and I have no reservation about recommending Grime2Shine.

I took my car yesterday to get my windows cleaned. They had been accumulating hard water. Grime2shine did an awesome job removing the hard water from my windows. My wife loves it because she can see outside very clear now. I definitely recommend grime2shine. They work great also with the hard water on the paint.

After reviewing multiple reviews and speaking to the owner Alfredo I was confident that I had taken my new truck to what I thought was good detailer. I had requested that my truck be buffed, polished, waxed and sealed with ceramic coating. After getting my vehicle back I still noticed multiple scratches in the paint as well as wax residue on plastic trims throughout. Alfredo was more than happy to help correct these issues. After his second attempt it was better but not what I was promised. Since then the ceramic coating is not holding up as promised and I can still see multiple scratches in the paint. Now I’m having to find a new detailer to correct these issues. The owner is very nice and friendly but lacks experience.

We have LOVED the results of the auto correction. It has allowed us to keep our car clean and shiny , we travel a lot but the dirt doesnt really stick on. Also when it rains the water just streams off the car.
