A pretty huge tree limb fell on our 2013 Toyota Prius. After being told it was totaled with only 45k miles on it, Main went to bat for us with the insurance company, got it repaired and did an excellent job. Like it never happened.

Mike was awesome; he was constantly giving me updates on the progress. Unfortunately people dont pay attention to driving and i have been rear ended 2 times at a red light and a 3rd time when i was asleep in bed and a woman backed into my car. Main Auto body fixed my 2015 Chrysler 300S 5.7 hemi all 3 times, Im extremely satisfied & would highly recommend.

Received an estimate, a time line of 3 days to complete the repair and a promise for updates. I provided all contact information. Since I had not received an update, I called near the end of the third day. Another issue had come up that was not included on the estimate. The issue could only be resolved by a dealer at an additional cost. Was told then that everything couldnt be completed until the following week. Again, no updates until the repairs were completed in 6 days, not three. And, total cost was 138% of the estimate. I realize an estimate is just that, but 38% over. Thats just sloppy. Also, I was told the additional cost at the dealer would be $312.50 and it ended up being $396.00. Again, 27% over what I was told. The estimator and the manager did a lot of humming and hawing when I questioned these issues. I informed the manager that I was disappointment and he said I should be. No offer to reduce the bill though. I do not recommend Main Auto Body in Albany and certainly will not return there.

The window broke on our car right before a road trip. Main Auto Body squeezed us in right before they closed and didn’t even charge us to get our window to a point we could drive with it. They really helped us out and were so nice and inviting! Highly recommended!

There is a reason this body shop has been removed from the list of recommended body shop providers as on 2021.I hope to spare you the experience I had.I was told by Brian before I had ever received an estimate for repairs that I needed to approve the repairs progressive suggested, or come pick up my car that had a detached tow hitch, and a detached front and back bumper mid repair that day. It wasn’t in the friendliest tone either; and during work hours. He ended up giving me a few days to make a decision but aggressively attempted to pressure me.They seemed to have a more than casual relationship with progressive. The two appeared to be working in collaboration in a way that put them in opposition with myself being the customer. Progressive wanted to wrap up the claim and Main Auto Body wanted to get paid for repairs. Fair, but handled in an unfriendly manner.Mike was wonderful. If you only speak with only him, you should have a positive experience. You simply hope for people to be reasonable. Mike lived up to that standard. They did a wonderful job with the repairs. No complaints whatsoever with their work. I would trust them with my vehicle but not with a handshake agreement.***I must edit my comment as I am unable to reply directly to your message Bryan. Thanks for the quick response. You had my vehicle for a 2 week period before you were able to work on it due to the limited number of machines you own that were needed to repair my vehicle. That does not explain the time sensitive ultimatum you applied to the claims process. You provided that ultimatum the day you were able to first perform repairs.

This review is long overdue on my part, sorry you guys!!My experience with Main Auto Body was so seamless and stress-free thanks to the incredible customer service I got from Whitney from start to finish.Whitney was very attentive to all my questions, and regularly kept me up to date on what was going on when issues arose from the responsible partys insurance company in regards to billing/communication of the quote I was given.She went WAY above and beyond going back and fourth with insurance on my behalf, and overall I just felt like I was in very capable hands during the whole process. She also helped me get into a bigger rental vehicle which was a HUGE help during the time my Q5 was being repaired.Highly, highly recommend the Main Auto Body in Albany. ESPECIALLY if you are lucky enough to get Whitney as your representative! If I ever get into another fender bender, it will be a no-brainer as to which auto body shop gets my business. Thanks again for everything you guys!

Seemed so nice when our vehicle was dropped off. Then low and behold it took longer than they said, then I had to call to inquire due to no update, and then when I arrived for pick up...they put a dent in my vehicle and tried to claim it was already there. Instead of taking onus they acted so concerned and shuttled me off the lot to later call me and say it will cost XX to fix what they did. Wow! Never going here...go to Corvallis Main Auto Body if you want Main Auto Body...not these guys.

Jonathan at Main Auto Body was super nice and kept us updated and provided great service. Jeremy did great work on our vehicles. We have done business with Main Auto Body a few times and have had wonderful service. We would recommend them to our friends and family. They were kind, professional and went out of their way to give us a fair estimate and provide great service!

Main auto body seems to have a nice facility a competent staff and heres what they have the latest machinery and devices to be able to correctly fix your vehicle. The best thing about main Auto body is there warranty. a lifetime warranty for the work that they do on your vehicle cant be beat just make certain that the work that they do was done right the first time. Staff are very friendly very helpful and very willing to work with you.

I would absolutely recommend Main in Albany. The staff was extremely helpful and the techs did a great job. You can’t even tell there was damage, it’s like new again. Communication was surprisingly good, giving two updates by phone weekly throughout the project. They got us in right away and started work on my vehicle the next day. The job was completed a week before they originally quoted. They even cleaned the inside and outside of my vehicle!

The insurance company told us to drive the car to Main auto body. I didnt feel comfortable with that because the door had to be held with a seatbelt. The lady at Main told us not to drive it after I told her the damage and the insurance company finally came and towed it. So grateful for their knowledge and help!!

Jonathan at main auto body worked with us and kept us on informed on what was going on. Really appreciate what Jonathan did for my wife and I and our car. I believe we also made a friend through all of this as well. Id recommend main auto body to anyone that gets into an accident or needs work to be done with there car. Friendly and quick to help you

My insurance company recommended this place. I dropped my car off and had it back 8 days later. Granted the damage was minor so the fix was easy (just replacement of a bumper and a panel, and some paint on the lift gate). They do quality work from what I can tell, and even did a nice detailing on the car at the end. Gladly would use them again.

The other location fixed my car and did a great job. This new Albany spot had a fun grand opening, so the next time someone wrecks my car Ill bring it there.

I will say years ago I had a great experience with main. June 2019, not so much.. 10/10 do not recommend if you are going through insurance. Make sure you read what you sign- that part was my fault... I thought I was signing for an estimate and I was signing to approve repairs before an estimate. I should have read it rather than trusting the desk staff.Progressive and Main must have a great relationship because they sure love screwing over the customer. I was accused of covering up “old” damage on a car with a clean carfax that was taken to Main as a result of an accident that was NOT my fault.. and they only repaired the appearance of my vehicle, not what you couldn’t see. My forged aluminum Z rated front wheel was PAINTED.. they eventually ordered me a replacement after I said the manager’s “look at it from this angle- it looks fine!” wasn’t sufficient.. it looked like a bad teeth whitening commercial. One gold wheel and the rest silver. It took them over a month to get the new wheel in stock and I didn’t get a phone call, I had to keep calling. Have had to have multiple alignments and the front end of my car is still screwed up a year later. Precision put the Mylar back on my car and screwed that up, I had to take it back to be fixed. Main ended up not replacing some of the Mylar that was there and admitted they didn’t take great notes on where the Mylar was removed.. yet there was adhesive residue there. Yep, nope, that must have been there when I brought it to them. What? They come up with anything to get out of fixing the car right. My tires had paint on them, they didn’t replace many of the covers on the insides of my door (ie inside the handles to cover bolts) Also, when I went to pick up my vehicle my car was in TRACK mode (SRT Jeep) and my fuel mileage was reading 6mpgs. Thanks for hot rodding my car also. My car was still not to my satisfaction 4 months after the accident and I just gave up and decided to get the damn thing repaired elsewhere myself.DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE!! Unless you would like to be treated like you are an idiot. Progressive and Main seem to love to play good cop bad cop.

John at Mains Auto Body was Awesome! He kept me totally up to date on the staus of my repair and was so kind and easy to work with. My car looks amazing as well. This was my best experience ever with a car repair. I definitely would recommend Main Auto Body & Paint in Albany.

The men and woman at Albany main Auto body did such an amazing job on my car. We were hit in a parking lot and it caved in the passenger side between the gas tank and tail light. I was expecting a 2 plus week wait ( like all other places quoted me) but in just 5 days I got the call that my car was done. You cant even see any sign that the car was ever damaged. It totally looks 100% perfect. Words can not express my gratitude. I would recommend this place any day of the week. Thank you!!!

This is my second trip for unfortunate happenings with my brand new Kia Soul to Main. The first time they had my car back to me in 1.5 days. I was amazed. This last time I got my car back in a day. Freaking awesome. John was great. He is very friendly and explains things very well. He is a huge asset to Main. I hope to work with John again. Main takes the cake when it comes to automotive repair. My family has been using them for years and will continue for many more years.

This place is unreal! My car was wrecked, where the damages were on the right side of the vehicle. MAIN FIXED THE WRONG SIDE OF MY CAR! They somewhat fix the engine cradle but not the shocks or struts or do an alignment! They fixed 1 thing on the right side which was the AC Lines. Then the half a** paint job looks like water colors.Main Auto Bodys estimate was $8000. The vehicle blue books at $11,500.Went to another auto body for 2nd estimate who calculated at least another $4000 worth of damages. Total damages adding to $1200!Way to go Main lets not total a car and put people in danger so you can make a buck!

Quality workmanship and wonderful staff

This place made sure our car was fixed after an auto accident. Amazingly friendly. They even helped us out with a loaner while our car was in their shop. They worked with our insurance company to make sure the price was right and even gave us a pass on an unfortunate broken window situation with the loaner. You couldnt ask for a much better service through and through. THANK YOU WHITNEY!

My experience dealing with this company here in Albany was great, until they told me my rig was totalled. O yea after it sat in there lot for a month that i was charged for. I fixed it the following day in two hours. Minde you it was a 16000 $ rig, and the part coast 378$.

Had two vehicles here which have come back with new damage and bad paint jobs. They’re obviously not careful around the cars.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!! This is on my insurance companies preferred list. I had the worst experience ever. Not only was my car not fixed (had to take it back several times, eventually to another body shop) but Steve treated me disrespectful and actually yelled at me in front of the insurance agent. He argued me about the items that were not fixed. They had over spray on my widows and other parts of the car. Damaged my leather seats. Did not put items back on the car. Missing caps and covers. Very rude man Steve is. This happened a few years ago. Waited for a few years to rate due to court case involving other driver. Do not go to this place.

I want to say Im totally completely pleased with the repair and service I received on my 2018 Toyota Rav4. I was rear ended September 28th and I was in the shop the following week for repairs. This is the third vehicle Ive had repaired by Main Auto Body. I was reassured that my barely 6 month old Rav4 would be returned to the like new condition pre accident by the service tech Johnathan Mayorga and it was. They even had a sticker for my vehicle show up morning I was in to pick up my vehicle and took the time to put it on while I was still there instead of having to ask me to return. I will not hesitate to recommend them as they took very good care of me every time Ive been in. Thanks again Jonathan and the staff of Main for your hard work.
