Taxi #50. I am a valued customer. The lady driving this cab is very rude and disrespectful. She likes to argue and threaten her customer when she got distracted and failed to get her customer to their desired destination ( WORK ) in a timely manner. This experience was very disgusting, I’ve never had a bad experience like this before with this company, Maybe some customer service training will help cause she’s terrible at it.

Yellow Taxi #41 repeatedly honks their horn at 6 AM in my neighborhood. This has happened every Sunday morning for the past month. When I called the company about it their reply was thats an independent driver.Very unprofessional conduct and the company will not address their employees conduct. Please reconsider using this company for early morning trips because they will be very inconsiderate to your neighbors.

Probably the worst cab company I have ever used. Stinks of monopoly, if you can avoid, if you cant try to get through it. No metering, make prices up based on exit, charge for the next exit if you live too far, forced ride sharing with no reduction in fare...

Did not use this service - however, the way one of them drove on I87 tells me, speeding 25MPH above is normal, as is weaving traffic and following closely to the car in front. Noticed it is used by the Veterans Administration to transport. Please be careful... 75-80mph between exit 5 and 1 on I87 Southbound to Albany is way too fast - posted limit is 55mph! Good thing for that driver, the cop was busy with another speeding car!

To put it simply, my experience using Advantage was excellent. Im surprised by some of the other reviews Ive seen. I booked a van to take a trip up to Saratoga racetrack from Albany There were eight of us and we had a big cooler and a number of other miscellaneous items. Everything and everyone fit perfectly with room to spare. The van was exceptionally clean and our driver was fantastic and knew some of the back ways to get us there faster.I even made a mistake on the pick up address which I realized five minutes before the van was supposed to arrive, and the staff was amazing and completely understanding. I will absolutely use Advantage again for our trip next year.

Advantage Transportation Group inc. Is the most organized, sophisticated most professional business in the transportation game. Very polite on the phone, you can see the driver smiling, well dressed from a mile away and the vehicles are always clean like the first thing they do before they start the day is pick up new cars from the dealership. I always feel this warm loved feeling after Ive done business with Advantage. If Super Excellent was an option, I would most certainly rate Advantage Transportation Group Super Excellent. I had a doctor appointment today. They were supposed to pick me up at 12 PM. Sat outside from 11:20 to after 12:30 PM waiting. No one ever showed up. Called and said they had no record of me ever scheduling a ride even though we called and arranged it last week.They did that to me one other time too except that time they said they came and I wasnt there even though I was watching out the front door and no one ever came.

Ask the fare before getting in the car.Dirty, neglected vehicle that sounded as though it was going to shake apart on the highway.Rider beware. Theres a reason companies like this are being routed by Uber and Lyft.Dont try to pay with a credit card. They are only just begrudgingly accepted, and with an astoundingly abusive $5 processing fee. You also have to read it over the phone to some unknown person. I guess these guys have never heard of PayPal, Square, etc.Over $30 to go 10 miles. More than double the Uber fare.To be completely honest, I would have rather walked.

I am an airport taxi driver for them at ALB. Car #510 or #511. I am efficient, polite, sociable and focused. Cash preferred but credit card accepted. Unless Uber or Lyft drivers I will get out and help with your bags.

I reserved an executive sedan to take me from the Albany train station to Saratoga Springs for $124 paid the day before when I made the reservation. I arrive at 8:30 pm and no car to be found. I wait around for 10 minutes (its 20 degrees out) and still no car. So I decide to take one of the taxis out front and deal with the charge on my card later. As I approach the taxi, the dispatcher for Advantage tells me I cannot take one of the taxis, which are owned by Advantage. I just want to get to my hotel, Im tired and get into an old mini van owned by Advantage that the dispatcher called over. I reserved a $124 car to have a nice safe ride to my hotel in this winter weather. I did not have a nice safe ride. We spun out on the highway, had to drive extremely slow due to the poor condition of this mini van. It was not the drivers fault, he was really nice. Needless to say, a poor experience with Advantage and I highly recommend not using them if you can avoid them. Luckily my credit card company will strike this charge from my account and I tipped the driver nicely as he was professional and empathetic to the situation.

They were on time, and even ready to roll out the red carpet! They made us feel so special on our day and even celebrated us with complimentary champagne!

UNABLE TO GIVE ZERO STARS OR I WOULD HAVE!!! As someone who is in the customer service business I would be doing an injustice if I didn’t express and share the horrible experience I have had by using this vendor! (and I will say I’ve never written a bad review as I understand how destructive this can be to a company) I booked this vendor as my transportation service for my wedding- the most important day of my life. The direction was simple, bring my guests from their hotel to the venue and then at the end of the night bring them back to the hotel and return to the venue for the entire wedding party to bring them back to a separate location. First two pick up’s completed and then who knows what happened, I still have never been given the same answer from anyone in management. My entire bridal party was left stranded at the wedding venue, standing out in the dark parking lot, cold and forgotten about. I was MORTIFIED! I had rented a Bed & Breakfast for the bridal party to be brought to for the “after party” – which included a bonfire, drinks and catered food service. Needless to say, after 2 ½ hours waiting for transportation (as I was told “they will be there in 10 minutes” every time I called to check on their services or else I would have made other arrangements) my DJ himself returned to get us. Well by the time we ended up back to our location, the food was cold, the guests were tired and annoyed and my evening was over. I will give credit for them refunding me my money (that was without question since they didn’t follow through with their services) however it’s beyond that. The money invested in the after party was a complete waste (everyone just wanted to go to bed) and a bride’s night was ruined! Please, if you are ever thinking of using this vendor for transportation for any important event- think twice. I would NEVER wish this experience on anyone!!!

The shuttle driver had was very relaxed and had a great attitude. His driving was fast but safe and the price was on par with other services Ive used in the past in this area. He was one of the best drivers Ive had in the Capital region thus far.I cant speak to their limo service or their other drivers.

I was picked-up when I requested and brought to my destination in comfort, style and security. As a single woman traveling alone..it is very important to me to feel safe and secure. And I did. They have no customer customer service skills. They are not a good company for any special ccasion or any transfer you are looking for. They make up there own prices as well, I urge everyone to call there 3 different times throughout the day they will give u three different answers. DONT NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING. The driver was in a foul mood and dropped me off at the wrong hotel. He also expected me to identify where I was going despite me not being from the area. I would expect him to at least have a GPS. Also the price was far more expensive that Ive experienced in other surrounding cities and towns.

Arranged service the day before to ensure we would be picked up to return to the train station on time Service was scheduled for 10AM. I was told I would get a call from the driver and they would be there 5 to 10 minutes early. At 10, I called and was told the driver was minutes away. At 10:10 with no driver I called and was told they were rerouting a different driver because the first one was delayed with a passenger. Why they didn’t know this at 10, I’m not sure. I was told the driver was 9 minutes out. At 10:25 I called back and was told he was still 3 miles away. I finally got a call from the driver at 10:32 and of course he was in the wrong location. We finally got picked up and barely made our train.As to the person whose review talked about the good service he had, don’t assume that is indicative of everyone else. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.I used to own a transportation company and wouldn’t stand for the reviews that I see posted here. Let’s see if the only thing that they can do right is to refund my money. As much as it pains me to say it, this is one of the reasons that Uber has taken over in some markets.

It says 24/7 dispatch. I needed to go to the airport and the clerk told me 35 dollars. I said ok. Then he said I have no one to take you. He turned the lights off and left the train station. We have been traveling for over 16 hours. We are stranded at the train station and will be forced to leave at 2 am there is 2 feet of snow and it is in the teens.

The guy who picked up the phone would not stop calling me hun. He mustve called me hun about 8 times in our 2 minute conversation. I think the fact that he heard the voice of a 20 year old girl on the line made him feel like he could jerk me around. When I had my male friend call to make an appointment, he easily set up a time for me to be picked up- Funny, because when I called, the guy just acted too weird and strange and wouldnt make plans. I definitely do not recommend this service

Just saw one of their minivans (number 407) pull into the oncoming traffic lane at the stop light at the intersection of Green Street and Erie Blvd in Schenectady to make a left turn. They then ran the red light. That driver should not be on the road.

Terrible company.the driver almost killed us on icy roads, speeding. Then, they left me stranded for 2 hrs, lied and hung up on me when I called to ask if I was getting picked up. My medical insurance booked them and I had no option but to wait in the freezing rain. They crammed me in a van with way too many people. This company treats sick people like garbage and exploits insurance companies. its better to walk than put your life in their reckless hands.

Called this company to pick up an elderly patient and waited over an hour until the car got here. I called at the patients request to see where the car was and the girl on the other line was very short and extremely rude with me. I was told that the car was only 3 miles away and yet my patient waited another 15 minutes until the car arrived. I am told they have an hour from when you call to pick you up and this was well over an hour. I also was told that they are the capital regions largest transportation company, which would only lead me to believe that they have plenty of cars and drivers available to go out right when people call. The company is located only 7 minutes away from where we called from and it was on a thursday afternoon at 11:25.....Would not recommend to anyone. Youre better off walking.

After reading so many negative reviews, I have to give credit where credit is due. Kudos to the Advantage dispatcher who handled my request for a pick up on 11/10/17 to take a client to the Albany-Renssealer Amtrak station for his return trip to Buffalo. I dont remember the womans name who answered my call, but she was very, very pleasant, and very professional. She answered the phone like she was taking calls for the president of a Fortune 500 company! As promised, the taxi was at the front of my office building at the time I requested. I even got a call from the taxi driver that she was outside waiting. Its unfortunate that the actions of a few employees who work for Advantage ruin it for so many others who try to do the right thing by treating their customers with respect and consideration. Please be sure to acknowledge the Nice Lady who answered my call on 11/10/17 and do whatever you can to keep her on your payroll. People like her will help to give your business the recognition it deserves.

I got picked up from Amtrak and took a cab to Sand street, firstly they never know where sand street is...hello you run a taxi business get a GPS; we do live in the 21st century. The cab driver was frustrated and decided to take his anger out on me because he didnt know where to go and not only that other people were in the cab so I was embarrassed and angry that he even did that. He yelled at me and didnt address to know who in the cab he was speaking to. When I inquired who he shouted YOU! to me and the passenger in the front helped him out. He assumed I lived in Albany because I didnt ask to be dropped off at a hotel address, ummm once again you are cab driving company you should not assume that. I never told him I knew where the building was therefore it was his job to find out and had he told me he didnt not know I would have looked it up he did not have to be rude because of his own personal issues. We all have issues to deal with, but not when you are on the job and have customers to deal with. I reported his ass to the company and I will follow up to see that he was dealt with accordingly.

I have to say they are just the worst taxi service in Albany. If there were negative stars, I would rate them negative 5,000 stars. Called a hour before i needed to be picked and they never showed up despite the dispatcher saying the car would be to me in 2 mins twice. Albany needs Uber just because of horrible companies like this. This company is unreliable, do not use them.

My daughter just took a cab by your company from the Amtrack Station to SUNY Albany (approx 8.5 miles). When she took a cab to the station last Saturday she was charged $18.00 - a fair price. When she returned to school today she met some other students on the train and to save money they decided to share the cab ride back to school. However, there was no savings to be had. Instead of splitting the cab ride you charged them each $17.00. So the cab ride that a week ago was $17.00 ($2.00/mile and Im sure you made a profit on that) became a $68.00 cab ride ($8.00/mile). Thats insane. I realize its buyer beware but you are taking advantage of those who have the least. I will be sending a letter to Amtrak and to SUNY Albany.

If it were possible to leave zero stars, I would.I just called to order a taxi to come TWO HOURS FROM NOW. The dispatcher was EXCEPTIONALLY RUDE! He told me quote I havent even put my first car on the road, theres no way I can do that. THEN HE HUNG UP ON ME!!He HUNG UP ON ME! For a flight that leaves in 4 hours!I have never, in 30 years of travel ever experienced such rudeness. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!
