Got me to the mall in good time

PROS: The car was on time and was clean and the driver friendly.CONS: The ride was a carpool with other riders going to other destinations in the car which is not COVID19 safe. There was no price list and the driver charged per person and not one destination fee. The driver does not offer receipts. Cash only payments.

They dont come fast... However they have great safe driver

Called 3 times waiting for a taxi to get me from Albany Grey hound station to a friends house literally 10 minutes away. NO ANSWER

Called a cab for my uncle, when the driver arrived, and called to inform me he was here and found out that it was for a man Instead of me, he said never mind and drove away. When I called dispatch to complain, the dispatcher was rude and said “I’m not sending out another cab I don’t have time for that bull”.

Thats taxi service is vary God to me all the time I fell Albany taxi is best taxi service in Albany. but I dont know what other experiencing about Albany taxi I concern about my experience I believe Friday & saterday they all ways have high volume of calls . Some might have problem during that time . But I never have any problem at all I always recommend all of my friend .as a costumer 1 comment for the owner of the business he should respond to the people . An excellent service. I’ll give 5 stars. I had to take ride up till JFK Airport. it was the awesome ride. i enjoyed talking to driver. on the way down driver bought a coffee for me and behave nicely.my flight was at 630 pm, i had the reservation at 10;30 am, driver was at my home at 10;20 he keep sitting and call me exact at 10;30 that he is here to pick us up. He was in-timeIn this 3 hours ride we had about 2 stops on the rest areas, we were at Airport at 2; 15 pm. I highly recommend to take this cab. i had a 3 days early reservation and got brake in the price. Driver told the prior reservation reduce the cost,Cab was nice and clean.The driver was friendly.

Best Taxi service ever in Albany . Albany taxi was absolutely worth sharing .I have used other taxicab services before and had my share of bad experiences. The driver were delightful to work with and very professional and security as a single woman training Alon.. It is very important to me feel safe and secure .I will recommend them any one . and I did thanks to driver. His driving was safe and the price was on par with other services. Hi was one of the best drivers Ive had in the capital region.

On my way to work tonight if i did not slam on my brakes there would have been a accident... when i was side by side with the cab further in traffic i asked him if he knew how dangerous it was to speed thru a flashing red light going down hill? his response was it was a 2 way light i dont have to stop. he asked if i was the police and if i wasnt why do i care? to make matters worse you cant call to complain because the driver is the company owner and his own dispatch. last i checked red anything in driving means stop!!!! more than likely he was on the phone answer his dispatch when he went thru that light. just like when i called to complain he answered the phone while driving

Called 1 hour ahead for a cab, which didnt show up after 45 mins of waiting. Dispatcher said the driver couldnt find my house. Additionally one of the dispatchers working was incredible rude on the phone, although the other dispatchers were nice and helpful. Lateness caused me to cancel a Dr. appointment. Not a reliable service.

Driver was very punctual, but was rude and the car reeked of cigarette smoke. Thirty dollars (plus a 5 dollar tip) for a 14 minute ride. Both the operator and the driver kept calling me honey, which I didnt like either. Wouldnt use Albany Taxi again.

Early pick up for airport.Driver picks up extra people, making us late for our flight.If you are gonna pick up extra people, disclose it up front so I can make an informed choice.

Got stranded with my phone not working and needed a ride and someone helped me call them, took them forever to show up, not asap at all, the car smelled strongly of cigarettes and now my coat smells like it too, the ride was crazy expensive for a short ride, more than double Uber fare, and worst of all the driver was using her phone to look up stuff on Youtube while driving me! Didnt use her phone to look up my address, just other stuff.

Tried to call to get a taxi, and the person who answered was mad rude talking to people around him instead of helping me and then said can I help you & I was like yes I need a taxi, and he said to the other guy she aint even answering me bro. And said have a good day and hung up... you expect to get service like that? Nope.

Best taxi service in Albany.I have to give them 5* review. for God and honest and excellent service . I Left my bag n wallet n some important document in his car but driver was so nice n honest . He came my apartment n give my all stuff back which I left in his car without any call .i so proudly that guys he is really nice guy.n now I decided whenever I need taxi so I will call him for ever. I called for a cab at 4:09 , the dispatcher said 5 to 10 minutes ! I called at 4:16 at which he told me , be patient the cab is coming and that I only called 3 minutes ago ! I then called back at 4:31 again the dispatcher was even more rude ! He said I only have 2 taxis out and if that isnt good enough for me I should call another taxi he dont know what to tell me ! I come from New York City and the service here in Albany , NY is the worst by far ! The finally got here at 4:46 and I had to be to work at 5am! I will not recommend anyone to use this poor taxi company , which by the way needs a lesson in customer service !

Okay, I called this service at 3:15am from Albany Bus Terminal, so this review applies to ungodly hour calls lol. The dispatcher was rude. Period. The taxi showed up on time though, and the car was clean and didnt smell. Ive experienced worse. The taxi driver didnt mind having a conversation with me either. So whats my ish? The price!!!!!!!!! Oh my goodness. There was like no meter in sight for me to see the rate. I dished out $30 for a 15 minute drive. Seriously???? Thats insane.

I was a regular and took Albany taxi once a week and never had many problems.I always call the night before and book the taxi for 5:30am the next day.This morning the dispatcher called to tell me the car was outside, when I got outside no one was there.I called dispatch back 15 times and NO ONE answered. I ended up missing my Amtrak train, had to pay a $45 upcharge to take the next train, woke up my new neighbor and had to ask him take me.When I called tonight to ask what happened dispatch told me I was wrong, didnt apologize and refused to even offer a comped ride.I was really disappointed to see their lack of appreciation for customer loyalty.

Never call this company. One of the most bizarre and terrible taxi experiences. Ever.The driver showed up with two passengers/friends. The taxi was filthy and the driver paid no attention to stop signs, speed limits, safe braking, or general traffic rules. With no warning, the driver made two stops (likely drug deals?), the second after driving past our destination. He smoked in the taxi with the windows up and excessively over charged. There was no meter in the taxi to explain the grossly inflated fare. Which we paid because he was clearly a volatile person. All the thumbs down except the music, 90s R&B. We werent mad at the music, just everything else.

I called for a taxi and told them I needed one asap, the man I spoke to said 10 minutes. 15 minutes pass no taxi so I called and again told him I need a taxi immediately because I will miss my bus, he says the driver is like 5 minutes away and then hangs up. 10 more minutes go by and I call again I tell him Im still waiting and then says that the taxi is on its way and hangs up while Im speaking mid- sentence. Then waited another 10 minutes, and no surprise still no taxi. At this point I gave up with them and started walking and I was 20 minutes late for my bus because of them. Will never use service again. If there was an option to do no stars I would.

Terrible service. Completely unreliable. You can call them and theyll get you in 10 minutes which could mean 30 minutes or never...all in the luck of the draw. If they do happen to actually come they will try and rip you off. They prey on drunk college kids so when anyone calls a cab they try the same old tactics of trying to rip you off. Hopefully uber comes soon...

Do not use this taxi service! Worst experience ever.ON THE WAY THERE1) When I called he told me it would be $25 for the trip, then once I was in the cab, told me $7 a person (there were 5 of us)2) When we paid him $40 he wouldnt give us the $5 back because he kept it for a tipON THE WAY BACK3) Wasnt going to pick us up because he said we were going to call another taxi before he got there (I didnt and I probably should of if I knew this was going to happen)4) Made us give him the money up front when he got there5) Kicked us out of the cab when we were an hours walk away from our destination at 2am (Very dangerous!)6) By the end of the night we were cold, broke, and stranded (Called the police)THE NEXT MORNING7) Ignored our calls to complain8) My friend ended up leaving her wallet in the taxi and he made her pay $7 to bring it back to herThis was the worst taxi experience of my life and the guy was very rude and didnt care for our well-being at all. He was a greedy, disrespectful man who wanted to take advantage of 5 young women.

Taxi came promptly, was clean, driver friendly and polite, drove safely. They will be my first choice for a taxi next time.

I booked taxi from another company for 4:30 thay didnt show up till 4:45 i head to call albany 🚕 taxi . i request to ASP they showed up 7 min and save my day .I got airfort just before my flyght departing. This all happened in 20 seconds. I call to get a cab from RPI to the airport. A he answers with the sorriest hello he could muster and curtly corrects me to a different number and hangs up. I understand if I am wrong but he neither new whether this was my first time in the city or not (and it is). I dont know what the response you word-upchucked into my ear means. Listen and talk to me, damn. What a basic customer service standard to be missing. Im signing to get uber up here hahaha.

Told us 5 minutes, 45 mins later still not here. Called to find out I was told if I call every 2 minutes it wont get there any quicker. I called once initially and once when 45 mins hit. Jerks.

Very clean car and fast

This is the most foolish cab company. I called the guy to tell him Im at alumni quad going to trailways. Comes when he says he would and had two other people to drop off. He tells me $18 i ask why he says you going to the train station i said no the bus station. He begins to shout on how i said train station and not trailways. All of a sudden the price is $11. Still a little pricey but what could i do. Only reason they get two stars is because it was snowing outside and be came on time and had the heat blasting.

Lied about when they were showing up

After you personally almost hit me playing with your phone while crawling in moving traffic, I called to complain. You said you’d call me right back of course you didn’t you shouldn’t be allowed to drive. Especially not with other people in your cab

Scary, car smelled like gas. Almost rear ended another car. The cab was dirty, had a hole in the rear passenger side.

Well I dont know if im taking the same taxi as everybody else but all I know is capital takes forever to get to your destination and dispatch makes rude remarks.
