Dirtiest and most awful smelling rental car I’ve ever had the courtesy of paying $200+ a day for. Only reason there are two stars instead of one is that we can drop off at another location. Can’t exchange vehicles because even that would require another hour in line. Thankfully we had cleaning wipes are able to clean the essentials so we can get moving. Don’t bother, pay a few bucks more for another rental agency.

I hate that I even have to give them a star. After dropping off my rental, they did not check it in and proceeded to give it to someone else. I was then charged for their use. I have spent the last 2 months fighting with their incredibly unbelievable customer service to have them fix this. I will never rent from them again, and I will tell everyone I know the same.

We have been waiting now for over an half an hour for our car. We are in a line waiting. Since we got here the person checking in people has only processed 2 people. What is the problem? And the line continues to grow. We even have a reservation. This is crazy.Extremely disappointed. Would hope for some compensation. This is The Dollar Rental at Albany International Airport. I thought I finally found a rental place that was convenient and easy to rent. I was able to rent through dollar rental on March 2021 without any problem with my debit/bank card. The process was quick and easy as long as it’s a bank card and you have your drivers license as well as a $200 hold and the cost of your rental. Well on April 15th 2021 I had plans for the weekend to go out of town and I knew I was able to count on dollar..I was wrong. Once I got to the front desk she stated they’re no longer accepting debit cards unless you want a $500 hold plus the cost of your rental as well as a credit check. Very disappointing to know that they changed their requirements.

I hate to even give one star! Thought they were great until I got back from my trip and they charged me the full amount after paying Expedia... didnt think it was a big deal until I tried contacting them... three days so far and the line is busy, from 6 in the morn til 11 at night. Contacted my credit card to dispute it... well see.

This company will rip you off, after speaking to a rep I was assured that by keeping the rental an extra day I would only be charged for the two days and a 16 dollar late fee, when I received the bill my card was charge ove 720 dollar, 580 dollars for an extra day, these people are crooks. DONT USE THIS COMPANY!

If I could give NEGATIVE stars, I would. They over charged our card, and I have received NO help in 2 weeks to get my refund. There is no receipt available online, 2 weeks later and God forbid a phone number that works, let alone, one that an actual person answers. We gave them a try, first time, ONLY time. They have done NOTHING to help and NOTHING to reconcile. A shame, since we travel weekly all over the nation! Customer service is a NO GO for this company, let alone this location.

My sister prepaid for a car to pick up Friday night, and they closed at 11pm. per the Google page, closes at 1:30am, per airport hours, they close at 12:30.They lie to their customers, and 5 different people were stranded at the airport Friday night, June 25

Waited over 15 minutes PER CUSTOMER, even though most had a reservation. Been in line 1 hour, one clerk who has served FOUR customers and there a still FOUR ahead of me.

4 week old reservation, arrived on time & they had overbooked so had no car for me. Told I could go on a wait list & hope a car showed up. Had to go with another compant& pay more than 2x rate. No response from corporate when informed.

Service is really good easy once you get there they tell you what available cars they have and you pick whichever you like plus price is really good !!And i like the idea if no need for a credit card you can use your normal debit card !Amazing overall

Terrible, the worst service I’ve had with a car provider by far:Purchased a vehicle for a total of $103 dollars online. When I went to pick the car up, they tacked on unmentioned fees and ended up having to pay an extra $272 dollars, not including the $45 dollars a day you must pay if the renter of the car is under 25 (I’m 24). Finally, they place an extra $200 hold on your card. Ended up getting a bill of $472 + the $103 dollars I had already paid. None of this was mentioned on their website.They’re very unwilling to compromise and provide refunds on cars you didn’t drive. Overall, just a miserable experience with this company. You may be better off just walking to your destination.

This rental was by far the worst I have ever had. When we returned the car they asked can we email you a receipt we said yes and went to get checked in at the airport. 3 days later they are still charging us as if we never turned the car in!!! Never rent from them is my recommendation.

No one answers phone. No one calls you back. All the phones are out of service. Scam.

The phone number on file is always busy, no way to speak to anybody in person there over the phone.

They are absolutely ridiculous! I went with my credit card in which I pre paid on line with and was told after they had already charged we dont accept this companies Visa card.I would never ever rent from these people!

They take your money without permission and it’s been well over a month and still no deposit money back as of yet and than has the nerve a month later to take out more when they are suppose to put back a $200 depositI have NEVER had such a problem returning a till i dealt with these people

DO NOT rent from them! They charged me $75 in administration fees for $2.20 in tolls on the NY Thruway. Unethical and possibly illegal overcharging and hidden fees mean you will pay well over the advertised price.
